We are going to postpone tomorrow's meeting until Sunday the 28th, not its scheduled Saturday the 27th. It will be at the same time, 17:00 UTC.
More than 1 regular attendee has a scheduling conflict, myself included.

Here is my new staking cluster - currently have 3 out of 5 pi nodes added. Still didn't get around to moving the wallet from windows and Dockerising it. The wiki will be the best place for us to get it documented. Others present in the Discord do have some docker experience. That I know, but I'm not sure to what extent. The EverGreenCoin Solar Web Wallet System is now live and ready! I hope it is found very useful to those who cannot run a node of their own. This will be an immeasurable tool for paying volunteers at tree plants, clean up efforts, and helping those who can not reap the benefits of running their own node. To the treetop! EDIT: added to OP EDIT 2, 2 days later: Very sorry for the outage. To be powered via solar and at a secure location, it traverses more than one network to reach the Internet. A switch or cable between it and the Internet is at fault. Unfortunately; I am already off-location for this weekend to attend a city-wide cleanup 100+ miles to the South. It may remain in this unconnected state until I can return to repair the physical network. My sincere apologies for this service interruption of the solar web wallet system, but it is a physical network issue. Not a software issue of any sorts. |

He is also very active in our Discord and a regular attendee of the weekly public meetings. We thank him and welcome him to BCT. A bit unorthodox or different for some, yes. But no cult. As he has learned some of the do's and don'ts the incorporation must adhere to (legit crypto in the States, 501c3, policies, etc.) while learning of crypto himself, he has brought many new eyes to EverGreenCoin. I haven't been in the forum for a while, but I have been paying attention to the price of EGC in the APP. Although it has not risen, it is not bad compared with similar coins, and today I came to the forum and found that development is still active as always.
Thank you for your attention and kind words! Active as always, indeed! ... On that note, I would like to introduce the EverGreenCoin Solar Web Wallet System to the community. We just finished some team-internal testing, which (ultimately) it passed. So this is the public beta testing. Please know: to provide this solution via solar generated power, it must be run locally and over a slower Internet connection. However; it is very light weight. Many thanks for the kind words! We are having much better contact within Kakuma lately. Lyama was a great in-road to meet a lot of people. EverGreenCoin Kakuma community members are even active in our Discord, familiarizing themselves with fonzobot and using it as a web wallet essentially and being paid for forthcoming tree planting efforts. We are in communication with merchants that make hygiene products and other products within the camp. Also in communication with the only camp-occupant-staffed news outlet. Some very interesting ideas are being sought after this year. More details to come. Again, many thanks! Kind words are a great motivator. |

Finally staking again...
I've also built a raspberry pi cluster (will post some photo's)
I'm planning to dockerise the wallet and run the wallet as a docker container on a kubernetes cluster - but have a little learning to do first
That will be great, starmman! There was some discussions on docker a few months ago in discord. Unfortunately, no noteworthy progress was made at that time. Looking forward to your results and, of course, the photos! |
