Yobit exchange is stopped i/o operations for EGC: "Deposit/Withdraw will be available after upgrading the source code of the wallet. Unfortunately the developers are no hurry to send us updates - therefore, in order to avoid the losses, the network is not available. If you have updated source code of the coin, send us https://yobit.net/en/maintenance_request/ (free) and we will fix the problem with the coin." Yobit stopped months ago. Yobit has been being contacted for months and was contacted prior to the hardfork months ago. At the same time all other exchanges and service providers were contacted. This notice was first was sent weeks prior to the hardfork and we continued to plead with yobit for months after to upgrade. Yobit chose to never upgrade after much community, myself included, outcry for them to do so. This is all well documented here in this thread. YoBit has been long-removed from the EGC website and this ANN because they refused to upgrade. Never leave your coins at an exchange, especially one that provides non-existent support to coins or users. |

Solar seednodes are seednodes powered by solar. Seednodes are the backbone of the EverGreenCoin network. These will be additional seednodes as 'primary', if you will, seednodes do need to be on all the time and from data centers with diesel backup generators and such. Some of the points I am most excited about are: Flint water - we might be delivering the pallets of water as soon as this coming week. Android App - crowdfunding the needed funds to purchase a companion application that will make maintaining (backup / restore) the wallet.dat much easier. Web wallets - we will be working this task into the roadmap as soon as possible. We are all very excited about everything we will be able to do with our own web wallet system and its integration into our current ecosystem. 'EGC Racing 2.0' - we will be looking to sponsor a professional mountain bike racer, perhaps sponsoring our own Joe Howard (grumpy tiger) next year. This is a perfect audience and will be great exposure. It was a great time hanging out with you gents on a Saturday afternoon. EverGreenCoin has amazing and like-minded community members. The accomplishments we are currently undertaking are absolutely awesome. Every EGC holder and contributor should take pride. As our financial lever grows stronger, so will our ambitions. If so, could someone sum up some things that the Evergreen project has achieved so far?
I'm interested in this coin, but I want to see some results first, so I'm posting this question quickly before I decide to make an account and buy my way into it.

Hi, maximdelaet. If you define "real life results" as "profits", yes. Community members have seen profits over 1000%. Some have made dollars a day just from staking. If you define "real life results" as "changing our world for the better", yes. We are breaking ground to build a water well in Bangladesh and we are delivering clean drinking water to the children poisoned by their drinking water in Flint, Michigan, USA. If you define "real life results" as a little of both, yes. Community members have used profits for such things as to better their own life by paying for college with earnings from investing in EverGreenCoin. In just a few months, our site has been an amazing tool to materialize "change the world" real world results, specifically the crowdfunding. Your best bet would be the to join the community meeting (every saturday) or try asking on slack. Several of the guys developing the solar staker is on the slack. How many times would i need to have my wallet open for all the coins to stake?
Is there a minimum? Or for most coins staked would i need to have it open always?

You should stake for at least 12 hours every 30 days for your entire 7% annual to be guaranteed. But, staking does help the network so, I kindly ask, stake as often as you can. There is no minimum number of coins to stake. If you stake more often, you will collect smaller instalments more frequently. Stake less often, larger instalments but less frequently. Either way, it will equal 7% annual. Thank you for your interest! |

EverGreenCoin will soon be added to the Android app CoinFolio. CoinFolio is an easy to use cryptocurrency portfolio app, that lets you monitor your favourite altcoins.
You can add the amount and cost of several coins to your portfolio to see the actual increase or decrease of your portfolios value. Be reminded, we are already included in the similar Cryptonator app. EDIT: we are also already in the Blockfolio app. Sorry, I forgot to mention. |

The last block was from a year and a half ago. Edit: nevermind, it's working if I search for something, only the main page is stuck. Yes, it is indexing still. This can take many hours for the data to be stored in the database. Unfortunately, sometimes the process needs to be restarted also. It is actively being worked on but, as you have found, you can still pull the information directly from the daemon via the search field. The front-end is trying to catch up still. EDIT: Some resources were freed on the vps to allow for faster indexing. Sorry it has been so slow and it should be catching up much faster now. EDIT 2: It is still being worked on. Unfortunately, we may need to switch provider again. EDIT 3: New VPS working much faster. Sorry for the delays. EDIT 4: Moving it. Again. Sorry for the continued delay. |
