We will basically allow people to stay hosted with us until we run out of room and need to ship out the old chips....so a very long time.

Why would we post them to amazon when we have a full site and platform being built for checkout?

As for someone else making scrypt asics, we hope so, thats the best way to reinforce decentralization. So far we do not see viable competition in this field of ASICs.

A decent summary of the current ASIC companies.

Aiming for july to host, gridseed is too piwer hungry and too slow to be counted as competition.

If you would like to ask a question go for it, I am happy to reply to criticism. We felt like it would be unfair to take preorders without giving investors a means to exit the market if they were uncomfortable with the risks. So we built an exchange for them to sell their chips, shares, etc.

And we have provided proof of work.

Add cache.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane on: March 08, 2014, 06:40:40 PM
I would give 1k CACH to anyone that is able to successfully integrate libzerocoin into CACH. Fantastic idea.

Rules of this bounty would be that it is:

1. Coded Clean.
2. Functional
3. Accepted into the main branch of cachecoin by the dev

If all of this is achieved you will get 1k CACH (Currently ~$4K)

Now that we sold all our coins, time for me to buy some again. Cheesy

http://www.maxkeiser.com/2014/03/auroracoin-patriotic-cryptocurrency-is-almost-worth-1-billion/

Getting some coverage so it should end up on his tv show and that will push it to the masses more.

Max keiser promotes a coin every once in a while, when he does it blows up. This should  be on his next show I think.

What if I told you that we will be making it possible for the "little" guy to buy our ASICs by offering them for sale accepting cachecoin as payment? And that it can be CPU mined. If you would like a practically free scrypt ASIC I would suggest mining ~300 CACH so you can buy your ASIC once we go to market rates (Just in case you miss the first boat). Download the wallet @ Cachecoin.org
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane on: March 02, 2014, 04:54:47 AM
Once we reach N factor 14 I think we will effectively be out of GPU range for most of the current ones. I think it is safe to say that ASIC technology is not yet capable of reaching the numbers required to mine this coin in the near future.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CACH] CACHeCoin released based on scrypt-jane on: March 01, 2014, 02:31:48 PM
Wow, really!?  That's crazy!  So how is anyone going to mine it, even on CPU, when the memory requirements exceed a reasonable amount?

The CPU will still mine it, it will simply become a CPU only coin at that point.
