1142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: aVanityGen Alpha v0.2: Vanity address generator for Android. [UPDATED 1/11/11] on: May 11, 2013, 05:51:52 PM
So I can run a vanity gen on windows for ltc your saying?
1143  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: aVanityGen Alpha v0.2: Vanity address generator for Android. [UPDATED Sept 1] on: May 11, 2013, 04:22:02 PM
But there's already a Windows one of which this one was BASED on
Exactly! In fact, I've borrowed the main loop from VanityGen by samr7, and glued the code to Android via JNI, I've also borrowed from BitcoinJ, but most of the Java code is mine. It isn't explicitly mentioned, but I am not much of a copyright person, anyway, it's open source so...

I hadnt seen a ltc one just btc.
1144  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: aVanityGen Alpha v0.2: Vanity address generator for Android. [UPDATED Sept 1] on: May 11, 2013, 12:43:23 PM
I assumed you would understand I would be looking for a version for windows based on what I said.
1145  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: aVanityGen Alpha v0.2: Vanity address generator for Android. [UPDATED Sept 1] on: May 11, 2013, 12:28:03 AM
Link to sources work, plus, always better to build from source. As for updates, well I was pretty clear that there was no interest in the project so I have not worked on it at all.

If you were to add a windows gui for it with all the different coins then I would kick in 1 btc. I want a faster way to get a ltc vanity address.

1150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra Payout Tool on: May 10, 2013, 02:52:39 PM
A tool to implement paying out more than 100% to people merged-mining using p2pool with bitcoin as primary chain and devcoin as one of potentially many (currently about seven or eight or so) secondary chains.

Preferred is to pay them these extra (as in, above and beyond the bitcoins that p2pool sends them automatically in the coinbase transactions of the bitcoin blocks) earnings in the form of devcoins.

The extra payout tool bounty is now official, with a six share for the first developer, then 3 shares for the next. It must be open source, like all other devcoin funded development.

Great! There is already a Massively Merged Mining p2pool up and running at dvcstable01.devcoin.org:10332 but so far of course it only acts as a no-fee p2pool for bitcoins because we have no tool for sharing out the proceeds of selling all the merged mined coins it is mining alongside the bitcoins. (NMC, DVC, GRP, I0C, IXC, CLC and XGG.)

Still, if people feel confident that someday a tool will be built to share out revenue from sales of the merged coins, they could start using it. Even just for mining bitcoins a no fee pool is about the best you'll find, and once we get the tool(s) it will become in effect a negative-fee pool, a pool that pays you 100% of the bitcoins plus a bunch of devcoins that should add up to at least a few extra percent.

FYI, for those that are aware of my other projects Cheesy anything avalon puts out will be checked by our engineer to ensure there are no flaws in the design beforehand that would cause problems. Not that many EEs to go around lately it appears Tongue

You should look at dating sites for over seas marriage arrangements. Arranged marriages are common in some countries like india.

Lol @ troll coin generator that is not real so trolls the attempted trolls.
1158  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Mail order bride on: May 07, 2013, 06:12:15 AM
What you are looking for is an arranged marriage and you are looking at the wrong cultures for that mostly.
1159  Other / Off-topic / Re: Proof that 2000 BTC (not 1000 BTC) is owed by Josh AND BFL. on: May 07, 2013, 04:33:53 AM
This is the post I meant to site as the other 1000 BTC bet, not the one with runeks, so there were 3 bits.

Since Tom is refusing to actually make the bet he himself proposed between us, I am offering up a guarantee of 1000 BTC to charity (I will take suggestions on which charity to donate this to) if BFL does not meet it's power claims within 10% - meaning if BFL's power consumption is more than 66w for a Single SC, we lose the "bet."

Now, I ask if Tom is willing to step up and back the winning side.  He is 100% confident that we will not meet our power claims (which is the genesis of the failed bet), and as such I ask that he pony up 1000 BTC to the same charity if we do make our power claims.

So there it is:  Tom is confident that we won't make our power claims, I am confident that we will.  I am willing to put up 1000 BTC to show my confidence in BFL products.  Is Tom confident enough to do the same or is he just blowing hot air?

This is clearly Josh making the bet in the capacity of himself and not BFL.

Next expected announcement will be, "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the shipment of our 2 petahashes in asics will be delayed by 1 week while we mine for the btc to pay our bets. Sorry for the delay."

They have not recovered their 2 btc for starting the listing yet so if no one else buys we will be in good shape.
