I think Decred has had cold staking for almost a year. And re: bitbay, waves, and syscoin, why would anyone want to buy these completely premined ICO ponzi tokens just to use a marketplace or smart contract? Openbazaar exists now, with shapeshift integrated, meaning you can use Bitcoin or most legitimate alts to shop on a marketplace that has, you know, actual products listed. And at this point it seems like no one is using smart contracts for anything, but they're coming for bitcoin on rootstock soon anyway.

Why do you say that Komodo is a scam? Prior to Komodo the only ICO that was held was for SuperNET, which is still in existence and is the technological backbone of Komodo. jl777 has not abandoned any of his projects, so what reasoning do you have to call it a scam besides FUDding |

Can anyone explain why IOTA dev expects jl777 to work for him? I read in SN slack he has expectations that ico investors should 'do things' for IOTA, why is this so, is there a back story here?
SuperNET was one of the earlier investors in IOTA and snagged a good bit for low price. He thinks because IOTA has gone up so much in value that James should drop all he is doing with SuperNET/Komodo and work on IOTA. If you read the Slack you can see that he is a mentally unstable solipsist. Various members of SN are interested in incorporating IOTA tech, but only AFTER we have finished our own products. |

Its agama the only kmd wallet for now? If so, Is there any way to increase agama security with 2FA? I wonder that because I feel pretty insecure storeing my coins without that option.

Agama is safe to use as the coins are in the blockchain. You just hold keys, and all transactions are locally signed. If someone finds our your seed they can steal everything, so keep it safe! P.S. when using Komodo in Native mode you will have to also backup the wallet.dat file. However the membership plans pay out a higher percentage stake rate. How does this work?
How are dividends conducted? Are they in every coin you are staking? or just in PoSW coin?
i guest they paid membership plan using coin they own posw(dev coin) and divident paid in posw coin. I saw my posw balance increase every month and it's not from my posw stake result Interesting. I toyed around with the site earlier today and think its a good model, I've seen it work in the past with coinwallet.co . Its a bit risky, but if over time there is a shift towards the more serious coins then i think it could do well. |

In the light of the smart contract feature of KMD . It will be a really sort of battle of the smartcontract thing crypto world. May the best project excel.
I think that how James is approaching smart contracts is a superior method to that of ethereum or Lisk. Here is why: Supernet smart contracts application development will not be limited by a singular language like the aforementioned coins. Since many of the contract features are done on the protocol level using api. Because of this dynamic linker libraries will be used to connect the functionality found in blockchain to a method found in a different language. I am not sure if I am explaining this right so let me give an example when you code a smart contract in ethereum the functions of the contract have to be coded in solidity, no way around that and there are limits what you can do with it as well as other drawbacks. When you code a Komodo smart contract you can code it in your native language or one that is better for the situation and just use the appropriate library to make the smart contract functionality while your application retains its own benefits and drawbacks. This is just my understanding of the differences in approach to smart contracts. |

I'm using the Agama wallet (v0.1.6.2e-beta) on a Xubuntu 64-bit in Basilisk mode. I'm unable to send KMD. I select the Send From address, fill in the Send To and the amount to be sent, and leave the fee to the defaulting 0.0001, and then I click on Send. After that, I confirm, and it stays under the Processing Tx tab for a while, after that, it tells me that it could not generate the signed transaction. Thx for your help.

I am able to send another coin I have in agama wallet without a hitch. kmd either processes forever or transaction details say round the lines of a pass followed by a fail. Thanks for your help

Hi. I downloaded Agama, activated Komodo coin, used my seed to login but my KMD balance is still 0.
I checked the wallet address, it is correct, the same as on Komod ICO. What do I need to do to see the funds?
check if coin are in address at kpx.io if they are then when you load the agama wallet and run komodo in basilisk mode , if the balance does not show refresh the wallet . |
