Agama is working once installed properly. Soon the final installers will be ready and it will become much easier to use. The command line has always been the best way to interact with Komodod. So you have Agama and the non-gui client you can use. I'm available 8-5 PM eastern time for live troubleshooting if you have problems.

I think I have Agama installed just fine on linux. It works when I used the cut/paste method of seed entry, no problem to see the same addresses that were imported. However, from a list of addresses, Agama refuses to output a list of private keys. So I am wondering if you consider this to be working properly? In my opinion the wallet should output a private key for each address that has been imported and/or generated. This is one of the glitchiest aspects of Agama and (in my opinion) one of importance, access to the private keys. Just to be clear, in the settings under export keys this text is shown: -- Export Keys Only the active coin wallet wif keys will be shown here. If you don't see a wif key for the coin you are looking for please active it by adding it from EasyDEX Dashboard. You can use these wif keys to import to another coin wallets. -- I put the same cut/paste agama seed into the field. It then shows me the key to the first address in the bank only. Not "keys", just one. I have got some weird seemingly random output from this section also, presumably private keys from addresses in the bank that have no balance yet. Depending on what is put into the field as a seed, it shows all sorts of different privkeys ! I basically got lucky when I was able to retrieve the pk from the generated change address and get my 900 kmd back by loading the privkey into komodod wallet. However, I don't have any way to repeat that.. This section is at best, very unclear because it says it will output the keyS from the 'active wallet' .. So I am reluctant to send a transfer to myself to claim any balance as the change will appear on a new address that I cannot obtain a key for. I am simply seeking a solution and nobody has come close to provided it, basically I am being told that it's my error? I am not sure why. until this gets solved I am unable to send payments with Agama.. It's no biggie as the interest can accumulate for a while.. I am mentioning this so it is not written off as "my mistake" and acknowledged as an actual issue that is to be fixed. If it is fixed in the latest version of the wallet which I have not yet installed then I would retract my statement. Can *anybody* output a list of private keys from *all* of their addresses present in Agama? -- just read that in native mode agama stores to wallet.dat, in which case will be no problem to find the privkeys. seems like a fair workaround for the time being. Agama is a deterministic wallet, meaning 1 seed = 1 address as well as it will generate unique keys depending on what is entered in the seed field. In basilisk mode which it seems like you were using initially it will just use that one address. Native mode behaves more like other bitcoin-like clients, as you have found out with the wallet.dat file and importing privkeys . |

I have been watching komodo for a long time and there is quire a bit of good word around it but I am still unable to figure out what is the benefit of having smart contracts on a private transaction platform? what does that bring to table?
Can someone shed light on it?

SuperNET/Komodo is an ecosystem of blockchains, unlike Ethereum where contracts are all on one chain and the primary purpose of the chain is to facilitate those contracts, Komodo contracts will be independent blockchains, allowing for scalability and compartmentalization of functionality, which is good for updates and security purposes. As for what contracts bring to the table, the same as any system but here are some use cases -Games -Payment Scheduler and Distributor - DAO's - Blockchain Property Rights Basically anything you need conditional logic for. SuperNET/Komodo isn't just a coin, it will become its own world of blockchains that additionally interconnects different blockchains via overlay network, hence SuperNET. |

i have invested 20k in kmd now i am waiting for become 100 k when will get it probably 31st August   Hopefully it will be worth alot more Speculating? TRUST we will get Profit at the end of the month and those who are selling at low good luck to them in my end. Based on which facts? well kmd is btcd2.0 and BTCD will have no developers left. And with all that you dropped from the rank of ~30 to ~50, considering you have experience of multiple other projects of Nxt and BTCD, etc If you are judging a coins value by its position on coinmarketcap then you are a fool. Gnosis ranks higher than we do yet has no product whatsoever and the devs hold 90% of the supply. Are they more valuable? How about Bitcoin cash are they really worth billions? Also if you just look at currencies and not currencies and tokens combined. We are in the 20s . The point is that position on cmc is arbitrary and does not reflect the value of a coin. |

Agama has java script error. I've gone to GIT HUB and Supernet page. They both have the error.

How the heck can you request a payout when the ICO page says you have a zero balance....but the blockchain clearly shows the the address has your positive, correct balance. Is the ICO page not synced with the blockchain?
If the coins are showing on the block explorer then they are already sent to the address. ICO page KMD is not real KMD. Just enter your seed in Agama and you're set |

If you are really interested you would do your own DD instead of asking. Respectfully H I have already done this...I need less technical explanations. there is actually a list of reasons why kmd is top coin other than the dpow. i will provide additional xample, look at zcash- code saw a 1/4mil $ audit. those coins over $200 atm. if for no other reason (and there are still plenty other reasons) this makes kmd awesome. a zero knowledge coin that costs only $1.3? remarkable. so zec has 10x fewer coins just say this kmd in relativety to zec is at $13 right now still a great buy. personally i dont care much about the side chains and dpow. the z transactions and atomic swaps along with helpful and smart dev team will bring this coin to a great level. personally i think calling it a $30 coin (futures) is insulting. it is superior to zcash bitcoin and etherium in plenty of ways. when i look at a coin i ask "what is the utilitity?" and is the dev team "for real" actually providing what was promised. from justv a few month interaction with kmd i can see this coin will be chosen for greatness. just that most people glaze the surface and dont see potential. as mr t. says "i pity the fool" that sells kmd for pocket change. ps i have no affilliation with komodo i have used this screen name sinxe before ever hearing of it. good day Thanks for detailed comment...are you able to use a working komodo wallet? Do you know if KMD is planning to create these functionalities? Most likely cause of incorrect balances shown is that the cache needs cleared and the wallet refreshed. Agama and BarterDEX are both in beta testing, Agama a little further along however there is a dedicated team of BarterDEX testers as well. Hello everyone, this is my first post but I have been using this forum form information for over a year. Komodo is one of my favorite projects.
I have a couplof questions about the Agama wallet if anyone can help I'd be grateful.
I've been earning interest on my coins since transfered in the wallet last night.
Do i need to leave the wallet open to receive interest?
Next to each of my deposits " z address not listed by wallet!" What does this mean and do i need to fix it for the Jumblr drop?
An "Activate coin" button is on the top right of the wallet.. does this need to be pushed for any reason… Or is it just to switch the wall it to a different coin?

No you do not need to leave wallet open to receive interest. The "z address not listed by wallet!" means that the address that sent you the coins is a private address. Its normal nothing to fix. Activate coin does just that, it allows you to activate a new coin in whichever mode you want. It doesn't switch the wall, it adds another coin to the wall. |

I have some KMD coins and interest for holding on my agama wallet but I can not send all my KMD balance to another address.
it means that I only send KMD coins without KMD interest so how can I send all my coins in my balance? Thanks.
Spend the utxo's in a tx to yourself. That will claim the interest. Then send coins to your intended destination. |

Komodo uses dPOW (distributed proof of work) which stores the komodo transactions within the Bitcoin blockchain for extra security... there is no other coin out there that does this. Ok, let's say I just launched my OwnCoin, how can I take advantage of KMD dPoW? In a similar manner to how kmd writes to Btc blockchain your Owncoin would have notaries that would submit txs to kmd network. Being that kmd is 4000x less in price it is an attractive solution for coin developers. |

Here are the video tutorials and guides for Mac and Windows for Agama. It is working for those who follow the guide. I think Agama is stable enough ti generate an address, and use it while we make the snapshot. We have support staff ready to help as well. Its not like we are throwing anyone to the wolves. False positives do happen with some antivirus software. Scan file at virustotal and make sure to check checksum to be safe. |

In the wallet the transaction shows as incoming transaction.
Balance of wallet shows 0 though..
Clear cache and refresh wallet Done, still balance shows 0. It may take a couple times of clearing and fetching wallet data. Basilisk is still experimental as it is the first decentralized lite client. Improvements will no doubt be made in the future. If after a couple tries it doesn't work pop in our slack #support channel to get some better help Its shown in the block explorer, so it should be on the address. I just put it there to get the JMBL drop. Dont need it to work 100%, but it would have been nice if it would work! If it is in address on the block explorer then you will receive your jumblr. As for the visibility issue if it still is a problem please go to the slack to get better assistance. |

Now...I have no idea how to access the old address...and my original problem still exist. The original address was showing a zero balance even though it clearly states my balance on the blockchain? I have lots of different coins...KMD is clearly the most challenging. Thanks for any input.  UPDATE: Ok...got the old address back on the page YAYYYY. However, it still shows a zero balance on the page but an accurate balance on the blockchain aka block explorer. I'll keep tying to hash this out in the mean time. Now you have to access the coins via a wallet. Going to download Agama wallet. Hopefully the seed phrase is the so called private key because that's all I have. I've downloaded the KOMODO GUI wallet and I'm waiting for it to sync. When I go to import the wallet it asks for the private key. I have the seed phrase. Is the seed phrase Komodo's private key? Yes the seed is all you need, though technically it's not the private key it is used to generate it. The seed is for agama wallet. |
