201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth season or alt season already? on: January 09, 2021, 11:57:32 PM
And again do you think altcoin season is now in action or not?
When the price of ETH increased by 66% in the past one week and when BCH and BSV had a huge rally then you can very well say that the alt market is rallying  Cheesy. I was surprised by the rise of BSV and BCH today as those were the only coins that was not moving forward while all the other coins were rallying and i am not sure what changed all of a sudden to make those coin rally.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 08, 2021, 07:50:01 PM
Before the two quick wickets, the openers had made a good start scoring good. The two consecutive wickets have fallen at 70 and 85 runs. As in the quote, Ajinkya Rahane and Pujara are the wall of Indian cricket team same as Rahul Dravid who takes forward at hard situations.
If India needs to win the match or to have an advantage in the match Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane needs to play a longer innings and they are the most accomplished players in the Indian team. The openers started well but they were not able to capitalize the start they got and lost their wickets. The pitch looks like helping the batsman but i was surprised when Australia lost quick wickets and the star of the day was Ravindra Jadeja.

~
Are you from India? if that's the case, India has good news while some of us don't know the real score but with the recent news that came out. They really are putting an end to the ban and that's favorable to everyone and if nothing has changed even before, they can't implement the ban strongly but regardless of a ban, crypto traders will always find a way to access exchanges and deal with difficulty to cash out after wards.
Yes i am of Indian origin, to tell you the truth i really do not trust the government in India. I doubt they will come up with anything that would help the people, all they do and plan is to exploit and divide everyone so that they could hold on to their power for a much longer period of time and if a government can create rules to exploit farmers which is the most essential part of a country, do you really think that they would care about bitcoin investors.
204  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: India plans to introduce law to ban cryptocurrency trading on: January 01, 2021, 11:18:43 PM
It is possible to prohibit deals and trades inside the jurisdiction of any country. Like on this example, it has been banned on India before but it cannot be banned in other parts of the world.
Even when there was a restriction for the exchanges people were trading and nothing changed in the volume, there was no ban on trading but only restrictions on exchanges to carry on the business and then you saw an influx of P2P based exchanges and everyone was able to overcome those restrictions by the RBI and now it is lifted because the Supreme court lifted the restrictions as it was against the law.

207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between XRP and XLM wish is best on: December 23, 2020, 11:53:54 PM
If I personally prefer to invest in XRP, because XRP is already superior to XLM from the ranking on coinmarketcap, so this proves that more people believe to investing in XRP than XLM and of course the volume of XRP is also higher than XLM, therefore it will be possible if the price of XRP increases higher than the price of XLM in the future, so I prefer you to hold your XRP rather than XLM.
The ranking usually does not mean anything as it keeps on changing. The price of both these alts have risen a lot and now we have seen a major correction in XRP. If you want to invest in it or any other coin then these are the opportunities to hold them during major corrections rather than investing when the rally started, even still i would move away from those at this point because they had its rally in this market and everyone will be eyeing in bitcoin and ETH.
208  Local / Off-Topic (India) / Re: Paytm selling mobile numbers on: December 16, 2020, 11:29:04 PM
And since that day, I started receiving insurance spam on my number.
Is this ok?
If you think that it is ok for you then what is the complaint  Tongue Cheesy. I activated DND and hence i wont be getting any advertisement calls usually and if i get some i will block the number ASAP as it is a nuisance and it is better to contact their customer service and convey your grievance about selling your number to advertisers.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: December 15, 2020, 11:59:43 PM
DeFi is a repetition of the past bubble ICO... Not surprisingly, many projects are trying to create something called DeFi! Grin
After all, a good profit depends on it! In fact, people now invest in DeFi projects almost without hesitation! Where it can lead us all perfectly remember until 2018... Wink
The market trend is continuing like it was during the ICO hype and when i first heard about DeFi projects i never cared about it until i saw people earning huge amounts without doing much just by supporting the project and i though about trying my luck without risking too much. I am well aware that there are projects changing their name to DeFi and you need to look after those scams as well.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 09, 2020, 01:31:33 PM
So was it a exhibition match? I think we all know who the winner is and for me I didn't find this an interesting match they are just going to make some money unlike Roy Jones and Mike Tyson, both were retired legends and it's worth watching for.
If you liked the exhibition fight between Mike Tyson and Roy Jones then Floyd Mayweather is another legend who wants to make money and Logan Paul is a good match for him not in boxing skill wise but Logan Paul can knock anyone out if he is able to land one lucky punch and everyone who wants to see Mayweather knocked out will be watching the fight expecting Logan could land that lucky punch Cheesy.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with crypto is more accessible than ever on: December 08, 2020, 11:47:48 PM
i still think that BTC and ETH are the most useful for paying crypto - they have enough liquidity, and well-developed psp infrastructure. but for investment i think the best - defi projects for now
The risk factor for investing in Defi is really high, yes there were projects that helped the investors in making a ton of profit but the amount of scams that are appearing is increasing by day and we have already witnessed many scams in the market in this name and now all the projects are adding Defi to their name as it is the trend now. So anyone willing to invest should understand the risk involved as well.
212  Local / India / Re: Unocoin raises $5 million in Series A on: November 30, 2020, 10:50:30 AM
This is quite positive news for crypto exchanges in India. But Still, the problem is with govt. attitude towards these exchanges and crypto investors. Till now, only negative things were said against BTC and crypto users by RBI and other govt officials. This created a sense of fear among retail investors which always pull them back to buy or sell bitcoin.
If an exchange is able to raise money then they can move to countries like Singapore if there is any sort of ban or restrictions by the government, Unocoin was dead for the entire time there was a RBI ban and they did not even plan to move their business to other countries which was disappointing and if they are faced with similar situation hopefully they will move the business outside the country.

This kind of funding will encourage new users to try their hands on BTC. Also, I hope UNOCOIN will also take advantage of this situation and advertise as much as possible to attract new users. I see a bright future of BTC in INDIA. Thanks to Supreme court Judgement.
I doubt anyone who is already investing in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will care about these investment and anyone who is already a cryptocurrency investor would not care less about these institutional investment in an exchange.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 26, 2020, 07:15:03 AM
~
I am really surprised after reading this news Australians allowing crowd for this series because right now its going to be create some serious issues for them but they still taking this risk hopefully works for them
Not for the entire series but for the Boxing Days Test on December 26 and before that there is no notification that they will be allowing audience for the rest of the tour and even that permission is pending from the government as per the reports and yesterday i thought there will be audience for the entire tournament and i had to search all the news site to understand their plans  Grin.

I don't think Australia will have too many problems. Because the coronavirus in Australia is now at a stable stage. No one died of coronavirus in their country this month. And the number of victims is very low.
The situation in South Australia is not that great, the virus is spreading and they have locked the borders.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 26, 2020, 01:27:12 AM
I think Betnomi have and there's only two options "Money line" and "Bout betting" if there's now winner announce then how they will determine the winner on the moneyline?
If the fight is a draw and you did not choose that option then the sports book will keep the money  Cheesy. I have seen some books returning the bet if the fight is a draw and there is not much clarity regarding this specific fight since it is an exhibition bout.

Just couple of days before the event and hopefully we will be witnessing a good battle and this fight will determine whether the retired boxers will return and have a career again or not  Grin.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 25, 2020, 09:56:27 PM
I can't wait for the first ODI match between Australia and India to start as we'll finally see fans back at the stadiums watching cricket again even though it will be in limited numbers but at least there will be some fans able to go. I'm hoping we see a great match between two of the top teams.
Are they allowing audience for the ODI as well, i thought they are allowing audience for the boxing day Test which is a tradition in Australia and if there are allowing audience now i do not think that would be a great idea considering the rise in cases in Australia and it is impossible to test each and everyone in the audience and it is an expensive endeavor if they do that .
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Paypal bought up to 70% of all the newly mined bitcoin recently on: November 24, 2020, 05:24:08 PM
I think we are going to hit 20k pretty soon. News like this are non-stop these days. I don't want to even think what will happen when the general public FOMO starts.
We already hit 20k already and we are on our way to hit the all time high valuation and if the FOMO could have started a long time ago and we never saw that and i think all the click bait news publications knew that it will not be affected like they used to be as there is nothing positive going on in the world and you cannot say anything good about the rest of the financial market to sell the FOMO.
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: November 24, 2020, 03:50:52 PM
LOL.. reminds me of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which was hosted in South Africa. Back then, the crowd used a musical instrument called "vuvuzela", which produced a deafening noise, resulting in many of the TV channels using audio filters to remove this irritating sound. It was impossible to follow the commentary because of this noise, and I ended up watching the tournament after putting my TV on mute.
I remember the FIFA World Cup and the vuvuzela sound was really high but i did not know that the channels filtered to remove the high sound but i enjoyed the sound while watching and it was a different experience but the background noise during the IPL was really irritating to say the least as if the crowd voice was on a loop every ball is bowled irrespective of the game situation and hence i had to lower the voice to get rid of that stupid loop Grin.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 23, 2020, 01:50:37 PM
While searching in google for fight info, found out article with Dana White. He says that knockouts are not allowed in that fight (I understood his words in that way).
May be Dana White is a fan and friend of both Mike Tyson and Roy Jones and he does not want them to be hurt and some of the fans will be having that opinion but majority of the sports fans wants crazy action and knockout.

How this is even possible? How the ref is going to control Mike and forbit him to knockout ? Cheesy Even if this is an exhibition fight, doesn't it means that they need to show what they can? Mike can knockout, while RJJ has the speed? If Mike is prohibited to KO, then ref must slow RJJ speed.
Since it is called an exhibition contest both these fighters can have a mutual dialogue on not going for the knockout punch  Cheesy. All they need to do is to entertain the crowd and before that hype the fight to the maximum so that they could earn the most money Grin.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 22, 2020, 11:58:58 PM
I also like the fact that after years in tennis the young people are pushing for it, but Nadal and Djokovic will still win big tournaments in the next few years I think, I'm not sure about Federer, maybe Wimbledon, but that is also rather unlikely. Unfortunately, Thiem lost today's match like last year, but he had a good year and still has many ahead of him.
It is good to see youngsters coming up and Daniil Medvedev was on my radar as an upcoming player and when he defeated Novak Djokovic earlier in the tournament coming in as a underdog i knew he is in top form and the matches against Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem in the final were pure genius after loosing first set and coming back and winning a close game and then continuing that form.

Better spend some wise time collecting bees rather than hunting down a ghost Tongue.
