I experienced that often when I'm still a beginner in trading and I sold several of the stucked coins before their value go down significantly. I only hold a coin if there is an upcoming event like hardfork, main nets and other positive developments because their prices will certainly go up. I agree with your opinion because the main reason in the implementation of regulation for the ICOs is to screen out those scam and fake ICOs who out to rob investors of their hard earned money. The regulation can also identify legitimate ICOs and their real purpose for their offerings. We should always be reminded that ICOs are high-risk, high-reward investments and it is important to know how much one is willing to invest and possibly lose before you decide to participate.

I think that is a big possibility and if some institutions or companies secretly hodl some significant amount of bitcoin then I will call it "undeclared reserve" and they are likely reserving it for their future use. The crypto market's chances of positive growth in this first quarter of the year is improving with bitcoin price going up above $4100.
