1061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see Bitcoin fall in 2018? on: January 14, 2018, 07:09:25 AM
If demand for bitcoin in the coin market slowdown continuously then it will possibly fall. Support for bitcoin is still going high and and its price is projected to reach another level like what happened last year. Some major corrections might usually happen just like last year because of some factors like FUD. The fall of the bitcoin will come from the investors and holders themselves because they the ones that give life to the virtual coin.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 14, 2018, 05:31:26 AM
Bitcoin price seem to stabilized at the range of $13k to $14k and it hard to predict when will it soar again like in the past. If this price consolidation is nearing its end then it will going to rise again soon unless there is another FUD news that might affect it. Some people still panic from some unverified news like the reported banning of cryptocurrency trading in South Korea by its Ministry official causing bitcoin price to fall. When bitcoin holders overcomes by panic, selling ensues so it is better to avoid it and always verify the source of the news before turning it into FUD.
1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: January 13, 2018, 12:17:00 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.

Those people who uses bitcoin for illegal purposes must be the ones that responsible for their own actions and not the cryptocurrency itself. If these kind of people prefer bitcoin because they can easily use it in their illegal activities, then they must eventually face the consequences of their action. Many people like bitcoin because they know the benefits of using it and that the reason why a lot of them bought or invested on it. Misusing the bitcoin might eventually lead to more government interventions because they will see the virtual currency as a threat to security and this will affect the bitcoin users.

1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: January 08, 2018, 01:31:02 PM
The crude oil that mined in oil-producing countries is not unlimited, the world's oil reserve will soon slowly depleted in the coming years to come. The invention and mass producing of electric cars will be a big help to the motoring because it will lessen their dependency on oil and it will reduce air pollution. The electric car is not bad for oil industry but it is the oil production because it will continue depleting the oil reserve.
1066  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN @ $20,000 A PIECE BEFORE 2017 ENDS? on: January 08, 2018, 12:47:22 PM
It is already 2018 and bitcoin may try to reach the $20000 again in this year but it hard to predict when that happen again as bitcoin seem to be slowed down. The growth of some altcoins may have an effect on bitcoin as funds temporarily transferred to some popular altcoins undergoing a price uptrend. It still remains to be if bitcoin can repeat its achievement last year.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: January 08, 2018, 08:00:14 AM
Of course the investors of various cryptocurrencies will be the ones that going to be affected if all banks that deals with virtual money are closed. But that will be impossible for now because not all banks are against the cryptocurrencies, in fact, some of them support coins like ripple and alsosome governments like Russia is creating their own cryptoruble.
1068  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: January 08, 2018, 07:28:23 AM
All investments has a varying degree of risk and cryptocurrencies is one of the riskiest investment but with high return if you have the patience to hodl it long. Turning all your money into bitcoin is risky especially if there is no more money left in your bank account. It's better not to put all your fiat in one virtual basket, you must some cash left in your emergency pocket.
1069  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading : BASED ON COINMARKETCAP :) on: January 07, 2018, 07:24:10 AM
Even if the coins you want to trade is in the coinmarketcap top 100, you still have to research some of them first if you are looking for a real potential coin. What I am looking for is the market the long term growth of coins where you can be able to hold them for weeks or months and then sell later when their prices is soaring again.
1070  Economy / Economics / Re: Imagine Bitcoin recognized around the world. on: January 06, 2018, 09:27:35 AM
Do you think there will be a chance that bitcoin will be recognized by all people around the world? If so, what would you contribute for the success of bitcoin in adapting human culture?

That chance might still far from turning into reality as some governments started implementing their rules of banning bitcoin and other decentralized virtual currencies. In their own laws, money circulation should be controlled to protect their financial system. If all kinds of people, regardless of race know how to use bitcoin and unites to seek bitcoin legalization, it may have chance.
1071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: January 06, 2018, 08:56:18 AM
Gambling itself will make you greedy if you take it seriously, and everytime you lost a game, your level of greediness will intensify as you look for more money for bets to recover what you have lost. If you are hooked up in gambling, it hard to control greediness unless you stop playing and reform yourself instead.

1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are altcoins dead? on: January 06, 2018, 06:50:43 AM
They are much alive and continuously kicking and many of them had recent price surges like ethereum, litecoin, ripple, cardano, tron and many others. Many investors are looking for potential altcoins that will seen to perform well in the future. Some coins might die but majority of them will continue to be alive.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TROOOOOOOON!!!! on: January 06, 2018, 06:15:44 AM
Tron price surge for the past several days is faster than the well known cryptocurrencies llike bitcoin and litecoin witha weekly growth of 512% according to coinmarketcap. Some reasons for tron surges is the recent announcements of tron developer about his upcoming partnership with some well known business entities  in the market.
1075  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 05, 2018, 01:18:55 PM
I remember someone who said, You are not a real trader if you did not experienced even a single loss. Almost all newbies in trading suffered some losses on their first attempts on trading before they become skilled traders. Those losses or mistakes are also beneficial to traders because it teaches them on how to become a good trader someday, in short, they will learn from their own mistakes.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: January 05, 2018, 01:01:01 PM
Ethereum is a well known coin and one of the best altcoin for investment especially for long term growth and its price is already hit another all-time high. This year, ethereum might continue to show more price uptrend as the demand for it will akso continue to grow. My support for ethereum will not change and i hope that it will perform better this year.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To Gamble or To Invest? on: January 05, 2018, 08:30:48 AM
I really think it is safer to invest than to gamble. It's true that both are risky, however, investing is safer because you can make an educated decision using data, experience, and skills. Unlike in gambling, the odds of losing is higher because in gambling winning is an objective. Most gambling games require luck.
Investment is much safer to gamble if you will invest to the right thing. There are investments that are surely like gamble but if you do have background on what you are investing then that will become your asset and great way to make money. The most popular one is through trading and joining ICOs, there were many investors that are putting their interest on it.

Yes, investment is way safer than gambling. Gambling can just be used for entertainment and fun while trading is for profit. Make it sure also that when you invest, you must learn that investment vehicle and treat all of your investment as a serious business.

Much safer than gambling, although investing is also risky, and unlike gambling, you will not become addicted into it and create problems for yourself and your family. Gambling can destroy your life and the people surrounding you will also get affected while investment gives you wealth if you manage it well.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: January 05, 2018, 08:04:49 AM
The availability of cash make it better to use conveniently than bitcoin and if you are not use to virtual money in transaction then it will be better to use actual cash instead. Bitcoin is use only for online transactions and majority of the people are still has no knowledge in using it like converting bitcoin into cash itself.
1079  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Would it be legal to create new crypto? on: January 05, 2018, 07:32:44 AM
Unless there is law in your country banning any creation of cryptocurrency, you will be arrested if you are caught doing it. Many countries are still against the use of bitcoin or any virtual currencies and they will not allow it to be use as legal tender especially if it is a decentralized currency. The coin developers in this countries should instead go into another country where crypto making is not prohibited.
1080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people buying Ripple? on: January 04, 2018, 01:15:41 PM
The surge of demand for ripple caused it to become the number two cryptocurrency in market capitalization overtaking ethereum. It is said to be highly favored by the banks and the reason behind its current surge in price. When ripple prices rose continously, it attracts many buyers and traders especially those who want to take profit while the surge is ongoing.
