841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: May 09, 2018, 04:19:35 AM
The value of bitcoin continue to rise despite many negative factors that it encounter everyday. Some of the reasons why bitcoin is valuable are its dedicated followers and investors that continues to support the leading cryptocurrency and the unabated demand for it. This inspires a lot of people especially investors from around the world to consider making digital currencies a part of their portfolios without the backing of any government agencies or banks. Another reason is its being different from the other currencies and yet people continue to support it because it provide a better option for a certain purposes like seamless digital transfer.
842  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin be banned on Philippines? on: May 06, 2018, 07:19:20 AM
Long before bitcoin exist, some individuals are already using the country's currency to scam people and amassed wealth but the government did not blame the currency nor threatened to ban it because it have nothing to do with scamming people. It is the same for bitcoin, a popular virtual currency, online scammers uses it to scam people but it doesn't it is a scam. The central bank knew this and they have already some plans to impose strict regulations in the future.
843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I stop panic selling cryptocurrency? on: May 06, 2018, 06:55:02 AM
Learn how to control your emotion first before going to trade, emotions are one of the major causes of trade losses due to panic selling and FOMO. Newbies are usually the victims of panic selling because they have no knowledge on how cryptocurrencies works. You must accept first that crypto trading is risky and losses are inevitable once you start trading but your losses will eventually go down as you gained some experience.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When your token goes down hard, are you going to sell it? on: May 06, 2018, 06:21:44 AM
Many investors sell their new tokens once it is listed in the exchanges and this usually result in falling price of the token. If the token has a potential to grow the future, it better to hold it because it price will surely bounce back soon. If the token or coin is poorly developed or categorized as one of the shitcoins, I will likely sell it once it is listed in any exchanges because it may not stay long in the market. In choosing an ICO or a coin to invest, it's better to do your own research first before putting your hard-earned money into it.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: May 05, 2018, 12:32:23 PM
The value of the bitcoin as of this time continue to rise and it is not getting cheaper but those can afford to buy it then it is better to do it now before it climb past the $10000 level. Demands on the top cryptocurrency is also continue to go up as more investors are coming to try their luck on this coin. This initial bullishness of the bitcoin market might be prelude to the upcoming summer bull that may happen in July.
846  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do i have to pay tax on bitcoins ? on: May 05, 2018, 07:56:46 AM
so i wanna know do i realy have to pay taxes on bitcoins and does my gov recognize bitcoins as my property and do i have to care about any legal action by  gov on my bitcoin property ?

If your government recognize bitcoin as one of the legal currency in your country and at the same time imposed tax on every bitcoin transaction, then you must follow the law and pay the tax according the law. Failure to follow it might result to some legal problems. Some countries like the United States imposed some strict laws on transaction tax for bitcoin while others imposed some regulations to monitor the transactions of bitcoin exchanges.
847  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: May 05, 2018, 07:35:15 AM
People keep buying on bitcoin because it already have a proven track record on providing benefits to all people who invested in the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin, a decentralized form of virtual currency has already helped thousands of people in their investments by holding or trading it. Bitcoin demand is still on the rise and many new investors are willing to put their money on the leading cryptocurrency in anticipation for the coming price surges. Furthermore, many investors has firm belief on bitcoin's ability to survive any price crashes and other factors that affects the cryptocurrency just like what happen in recent years when it suffer a serious price fall but managed to bounce back later.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Shut Up Bitcoin Haters on: May 05, 2018, 06:53:49 AM
I'd rather choose to ignore them than joining in their debate with their minds not open to any kind explanations. Many of these bitcoin critics or haters lacks knowledge on a cryptocurrency they are hating or criticizing and others are really want to destroy the virtual coin deliberately by spreading malicious accusations and other FUDs. These people have the right to express their own opinions and nothing can stop them from doing it but expressing an opinion that seek to destroy a person or a product is no longer acceptable and that is already below the belt.
849  Economy / Economics / Re: Can cryptocurrencies make physical money disappear? on: May 03, 2018, 08:12:16 AM
As we can see the cryptocurrencies are still being established in the knowledge, socialization and full utilization of humanity, could the cryptocurrencies cause the use of physical money to be eliminated, is this possible?

Some banks are already threatens by the continuous rise of cryptocurrencies around the world and cashless transactions are also on uptrend. There are plans to expand the use of digital money to the far flung areas of every community by installing a modern technology. But physical money can't be wipe out easily because majority of the people will still be using it for many more years. Digital money need to have a mass adoption first before it can successfully eliminate the cash or physical money.
850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL vs Day trading on: May 03, 2018, 07:40:49 AM
Hi. Just wanted to know u guys opinion of do the day trading and hold. Thank you in advance.

Hodling and daytrading are both profitable forms of trading and many traders are involved in these activities. If you have ample time and already have the significant skills in trading then you can try daytrading. But it is more risky than hodling because of high volatility of the cryptocurrency. In this kind of trading, you will be making trade that last for seconds or minutes, taking advantage of short term fluctuations. In hodling, it will take a longer time to make a profit and you need some patience while waiting for your coins to rise in value.
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this a good time to start buying bitcoin or should i wait? on: May 02, 2018, 06:52:17 AM
I think one of the best tools in finding the right time to invest in bitcoin or any cryptocurrency of your choice is your personal experience. If you've been investing and trading bitcoin then you already know when to buy or sell. But for the beginner, it is best to educate yourself first in cryptocurrencies and basic trading before investing to minimize your possible losses.
As of this time, bitcoin is still in the so called roller coaster ride. sometimes up, sometimes down. But if you are planning to buy bitcoin for long term hold, it is good to buy because the price is not yet high and the bull is yet to come.

854  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Government on legalising bitcoins on: April 22, 2018, 07:43:52 AM
Some countries have already legalized bitcoin after imposing some regulations to monitor any movement or transfer of the cryptocurrency. Here in my country, the central bank is already drafting a regulation for the cryptocurrency exchanges and this will be implemented next year once the drafting is completed. Taxation might be the next move of the government after the regulation is implemented.
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell ethereum or hold ? on: April 22, 2018, 06:55:32 AM
Ethereum is foreseen to climb another high in the last quarter of this year so I would prefer to hold it and at the same same buy more ethereum while its price is still low. Ethereum will continue to experience dip or consolidation on its price even there is a sign of bullishness. Selling your ethereum is a personal decision but holding it is good option.
856  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start buying bitcoins? on: April 22, 2018, 06:21:02 AM
As of this time, the price of the bitcoin is still going up and may not the appropriate time to buy it but to those who believe that bitcoin is heading into mini bullrun this summer, now is the time to buy and hodl it for the meantime. The summer bullrun will still depend on some factors that may drive up the price of the bitcoin, like the increasing adoption or legalization of bitcoin in some countries and the possible outcome of G20 cryptocurrencies summit in July.
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: April 22, 2018, 04:54:14 AM
Low prices provides opportunity for many investors to buy more cryptocurrencies of their choice. It is all gloom when corrections or price crash happen because I can able to purchase more coins while hodling the coins I already had. Falling prices of the cryptocurrencies is one of the most feared event but as long you do not sell your coin with losing value, your previous investment will still intact. Just patiently wait for the price of your coins to recover again before selling it.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the worlds problem? on: April 21, 2018, 01:17:48 PM
Bitcoin can't solve the world problems but it can be use to finance any projects that can help people around the world. The world need effective leaders in managing their countries and have the ability to solve any problems in their area. Conflicts, joblessness, poverty, crime, corruption and other major problems that affect a country can't be solve by using any cryptocurrency.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you long term or short term? on: April 21, 2018, 02:37:40 AM
I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.

As of now long term investment is my choice because I have still no time to follow the market due to my work. I'd rather wait for the price of my altcoins to go up to a profitable level than selling it shortly without reaching the target price. In investing cryptocurrencies for long term be sure to choose solid coins that has the ability to grow big in the future.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH price increase to 1k3$ again ? on: April 21, 2018, 02:17:08 AM
Being one of the of the fast emerging major cryptocurrency, ethereum may soon reach the $1k level again and possibly go up beyond that target price. Some price drops may happen from time to time but the bullishness will still be there and it only a matter of time before ethereum price go up to another level. Many investors also considers ethereum as on of the best option for long term investment because it is consistent of reaching new heights.
