1201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy BTC at 6500 or wait to go lower? on: November 14, 2017, 10:58:14 AM
If the current bitcoin price trends continues, bitcoin might go up and will pass the $7000 again unless there is upcoming events that will prevent its price from skyrocketing like future hardforks. While nobody know what will happen in the next few days, it better to study all the price trends before buying at this current price.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Analysis on: November 14, 2017, 08:04:03 AM
He made a new post that even with google translate I can't understand.
Seems like he is not using very kind words for the BCH guys
He says that the BCH attack is impressive. But it doesn't change anything, because changing constants is not the solution.

He also says we are going to slowly trend towards weekly ma20.
Weekly MA20 is around 4 500$. So that means he is bearish short term?

Well if the price moves down, the moving average will still move a bit as it's a lagging indicator.
So price and MA20 in the weekly chart could probably meet around the $4750 - $5000 area.
As the $5000 level should be tested anyway I see this as a good sign to build a good support in that zone.
So imo we could see 2-3 more weeks of downside. If we consolidate then or see a strong bounce like the other 4 times before this year needs to be seen.

It seems the dust is already settled down, and the bitcoin price is going up again while the forked coin is going down.

We are still parabolic, I don't understand the pessimism until we break below $5000. $5500 was a perfect bounce off the parabolic curve. We could still be at $10k by Jan 1 2018. I am not thinking downturn in the market for more than 5-9 days unless we go below $5k, then I am bearish for Bitcoin near term.

It's still very possible to make it above $10k by new year "while" breaking $5k beforehand, don't you think?
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about btc future on: November 14, 2017, 07:53:23 AM
The future of bitcoin is still good, it still going up again after suffering a big price crash. It is highly volatile and nobody control the bitcoin  but as long as the strong support is still there, there is no need to worry. Bitcoin is still leading the way to another new all time high in the future although it will still encounter some hardforks along the way.
1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price are you going to start buying bitcoin again? on: November 14, 2017, 07:31:04 AM
During its price crash, I'm hoping for the bitcoin to go down by $4000 or lower so  I can be able to buy some more but as of this moment it goes back to $6500 level again. It is unlikely to go lower for the next few days or weeks as the bitcoin seem to go high.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: November 14, 2017, 04:19:51 AM
The future of Ethereum is still promising despite some setbacks in the past and the recent and sudden rise of the bitcoincash. It is less volatile than the bitcoin which suffered a big price crash recently. My support for Ethereum will continue and I considered it as one of my best alternative currencies if the bitcoin come crashing down again.

1208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin can never go past $7000 on: November 02, 2017, 12:13:10 PM
Predicting the price outcome of bitcoin is futile, just hop in for its roller coaster ride as it is already hit $7350 and then crashes below $6800 again. Bitcoin might continue to try to penetrate past the $7000 again in the next few days or will stay below it. If the bitcoin surpassed the $7000 level, $8000 will not be far behind.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi see the coming of Altcoin? on: November 02, 2017, 02:01:23 AM
There are some attempts to create virtual money before bitcoin is created. what if these first created virtual currency is successful? will the bitcoin be called an altcoin? Satoshi Nakamoto might knew that there will be more coins to be created as the use of the blockchain and other technology will continue to rise in the future.
1210  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price point do you think BTC will become more stable? on: November 02, 2017, 01:20:32 AM
No one knows when will the bitcoin price stabilize because of its high volatility. Bitcoin must have a mechanism or way to stabilize itself otherwise it will continue to fluctuate. It current price is on upswing and many are looking forward for more all time highs.
1211  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin can drop 2000$ before end of this year on: November 01, 2017, 04:15:28 AM
There is at least a couple of months remaining before the year ends and the bitcoin price is still on uptrend hitting another all-time high. No one is in control of the virtual currency  but it is subject to any event that might the affect the bitcoin. The bitcoin's dropping to $2000 might not be possible now based on its present price trend unless there is an unforeseen event that will take the bitcoin down.
1212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin All Time High Hit - 6300 on: November 01, 2017, 03:56:58 AM
Another all-time high happened a few hours ago and bitcoin bullrun resumes. If this bullishness of the bitcoin continues, the prediction of some bitcoin analysts will come true. In bitcoin's nine years of existence, 2017 seems to be the best year for the leading cryptocurrency and defied some expectations. This year's market capitalization for the bitcoin is already climbed to $100 billion and and still rising.
1213  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 31, 2017, 12:33:50 PM
There are numerous options to invest your money and cryptocurrency is one of them. Investing in bitcoin is also risky and you need to study on how to minimize risks and sustain the growth of your investment. Bitcoin is predicted by some crypto analysts to grow further in the next five years and other cryptocurrencies might follow. Outside bitcoin, there are also many profitable investments and what you need to do is to learn the business first.
1214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next 5 year for Bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 07:27:24 AM
There is a possibility that the price of the bitcoin will reach the $50k level in the next five years if the bullrun will go non-stop and that corrections are limited to only few dollars and will last only for a day or two and then go back to surging again. Bitcoin will continue to face challenges within the next five years, gain more followers around the world and might spearhead the beginning of cashless society.
1215  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Growing transaction volume in the Philippines on: October 31, 2017, 07:01:35 AM
Users of bitcoin in the Philippines are growing resulting to bigger transaction volumes. As bitcoin is gaining popularity in the Philippines, the demand is expected to rise. Many users shrugged off the negative information being dissiminated by some uninformed people and media who has no full knowledge on cryptocurrency system. The central bank also  have positive reactions to the use of bitcoin for transaction purposes.
1216  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Not Yet Legal But Not Banned on: October 30, 2017, 01:00:40 PM
For many of the countries where bitcoin is not yet recognized, it is perhaps difficult for them to legalize a virtual currency they can not control. Others are resulted to regulating bitcoin transactions and their crypto exchanges. Here in my country, the central bank issued a regulatory guidelines for bitcoin exchanges but did not endorse any virtual currency as a currency to be used by its people.
1217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: October 30, 2017, 12:31:46 PM
Cryptocurrencies are always associated with risk and bitcoin is one of them. If you want to invest in a risky business you must first learn how to manage a risk and must be prepared to take a risk also. Ho[ding a bitcoin is naturally risky because it is a volatile currency, its price is subject to change without prior notice. Then there is also hackers that might steal your precious bitcoins and bitcoin wallet that you may not be able to open again because of some reasons.
1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: October 30, 2017, 06:02:40 AM
I don't think digital currency will replace Fiat, it may later be dominant but fiat will still remain, not everyone can work with cryptocurrent, not everyone will be educated and not every one will be able to operate this technological devices.

That's what i think also, it will be difficult for any digital currency to replace money or fiat even in the near future. Fiat will continue to be the main currency because majority of the people is still not a tech-savvy or still don't know how to use or spend virtual currency. They are more convenient to carry cash than to spend an intangible or invisible money. If entire population will study the new system of using virtual money, then there might be a possibility of replacing the paper money with the digital currency in the future.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Caused the Boom in Bitcoin on: October 30, 2017, 05:45:27 AM
The boom might due to the strong growth of bitcoin and its continuing price uptrend that attracted a lot of believers and investors including well-known businessmen. The unpredictable rise of the bitcoin price that has already reached past the $6000 level is unprecedented for the leading virtual currency. This growth has attracted even some prominent critics who later become followers. In economic growth, there is so called boom and bust cycle, will the bitcoin experience that soon?
1220  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bakit and ibang tao scam ang tingin nila sa BITCOIN on: October 29, 2017, 01:00:28 PM
