Can anyone explain why Golem won't make XEL obsolete?
Golem is developing an API that will let anyone create custom tasks, and the whole point of their reputation system -- which is the main criticism of Golem on the XEL website -- is to facilitate custom work that couldn't be verified by a central authority (whereas general computing tasks like rendering could be easily verified).
I thought the whole point of XEL was to let people do custom work, but it sounds like Golem is already doing that?
In my last contact with Golem devs (and btw also in their own blog posts) they explained that Golem is NOT ready to do custom work procedures. They will be able to handle pre-defined work soon but NOT custom work. But they are planning to add custom work being done longterm. |

Dies ist und war bei JINN jedoch nie der Fall. JINN sind im Grunde Genussscheine. Das bedeutet man erwirbt das Recht unter bestimmten Bedingungen am Gewinn bevorzugt beteiligt zu werden.
Diese Bedingungen müssen im allgemeinen irgendwo schriftlich festgehalten werden, ansonsten basiert das Ganze nur auf blindem Vertrauen in die tatsächlichen Besitzer der Firma und sind somit wertlos. Und genau um diese Bedingungen geht es aktuell, sollte nirgends festgehalten worden sein das es sich nur um Gen1 handelt (welche sehr wahrscheinlich 0 Gewinn abwerfen wird) dann haben JINN-Holder rein formal ein Anrecht auf weitere Gewinnausschüttungen.

Ach gibt doch andauern Leute, die einen großen Aktiencrash ankündigen Und sie haben auch fast immer Recht, nur dass sie meistens 1-10 Jahre zu früh dran sind  Jim Rogers gehört genau wie Marc Faber zu den Leuten welche eben IMMER den Crash vorhersehen. Und alle paar Jahre mal liegen sie dann natürlich genau richtig, so wie eine kaputte Uhr zweimal am Tag korrekt ist. |

Yeah, "premined" essentially meant that devs preminded POW coins, horded them and launched then. So that the "public" allready got a coin with a relative high difficulty and big parts of the supply in the hands of the devs.
That's obv something different.

I cleaned up the whole 10mio "discussion" and as such have deleted lots of the answers too, as it doesn't make any sense to delete only his messages and your quotes of him are still filling the thread.

I also want to buy XEL but seems there is no serious seller.Those who want to sell demands unfairly high amount.I do not think XEL price would be higher than GOLEM,It took years for GOLEM to reack to 20k sat price.My offer is 1k sat per xel if someone wants to sell me at this price.shoot me a message
People are dreaming for Golem prices, even at start it was 1000-1500 sats per golem (in January under 1k), I believe XEL would be even lower at start, so I will wait for exchanges. Even 10k sats will put Elastic only on 87, 88 places with a $25m marketcap. 1000-1500 sats will put it on 233 - 214 places (with marketcaps $2.5m and $3.75m accordingly). Don't be ridiculous... He has to understand the concept of marketcap first. Often folks have no idea of basic finance 101. |
