Can't withdraw fiat even though you're verified without asking intrusive questions above and beyond what a company could possibly need to know for KYC/AML, add on the fact that many people can't sign their most used deposit address then I'd call it a problem.
Yes, the questions are intrusive. Can you point to a single case where someone who cannot answer the questions has had a withdrawal refused?

Nothing to discuss. They don't have a working board yet. Those "numbers" aren't accurate.

1. Receive your miner immediately - with a 1.2hash rate or maybe a bit more. Immediately being end of this week.
I take it option #1 is no longer possible seeing how another 2 weeks have passed since that "end of this week" deadline.

If that doesnt work I have a 12000 BTC portable AC unit ready to go.
That must be the most expensive AC unit in the world!

You are referring to the S1 right? Because right now the S2 is worse priced than the SP10.
S2 is 1 TH/s @ $1844 (just use one of the countless $400 off coupons lying around).

A quote from the other forum talking about the coup in Thailand. Anyway we have food to last us a bit, and gold to get us out if need be. No one is going to take fiat or BTC at the airport if it comes to that.
You can buy anything in the world for BTC. Send me 1000 BTC and I'll charter a private jet and come pick you up. Today is already Bitcoin Pizza Day, so how about tomorrow? We'll call it Bitcoin Rescue Jet Day. The pizzas were 10,000 BTC, so think of this as a real bargain.

I am not BFL's defender
One more thing. Have you ever posted in a non-BFL thread? I just checked your last 100 posts. 100% are in BFL threads defending BFL. 100%!!! You really need to get out more. Your obsession with BFL is quite unhealthy.

Such a nice product. It's a shame the price is too high for me.

I am not BFL's defender
Sure you are. Are you a Spondoolies shill now Bick? Are you being paid to bash the competition? Are you Searing?
There, defending BFL. As has already been stated, Josh was involved with bitcoin mining long before BFL was ever heard of, and it's likely that the sale of EMC was done long enough ago that he could have gotten 9000-10000 BTC for it(or bought that much with $100000), which means that a paltry 1000 BTC for a house would hardly dent his total.
There you go defending Josh, which is the same as defending BFL.

SLAP THAT ASK! Thank you. I've been looking forward for that gif.

We'll get back to the other technical questions a bit later today.

There is one idea in crypto-currency that is unquestionably good, but most parts of the bitcoin protocol are "good" only if one subscribes to the libertarian dogma that banks and governments are evils to be removed.
Where do you get these crazy ideas? There's nothing in Bitcoin that is incompatible with banks or governments.

I wish I could start this update by saying we are shipping... but we aren't quite yet. Believe me, it's just as painful for me as it is for everyone else.
Poor guy, the intense pain is so bad he had to buy a $500,000 house. I'm sure all of his customers waiting on their miners are buying houses too to try to ease their pains. I sure hope he doesn't start thinking about seppuku again.

We do know how to build a miner. Our hashboards are running at 250Ghash with no problems or errors.
Option 2: Replace each Prospero (2 Thash) including the compensation package (1Thash) with 20 Hashboards (each PCB includes 2 x Minion ASIC, heatsinks, power chips, inductors, capacitors) – 4.5 Thash. Note that due to the lack of a backplane these boards have not been intensively tested therefore further rework might be required
I'm hearing conflicting messages. Are the hashboards good or not?

You mean the rally was caused by this post of mine:
Did you finally buy a bitcoin? No? Then you had nothing to do with the rally.

I was on a cruise ship, the internet didn't work properly.
Aw, #firstworldproblems.

With that in mind, it will be interesting to see what the actual hashrate of Neptune ends up being.
Almost certainly in the SP30 class. Not a chance.

So sad you have to have your bubble burst like this, but you're hung up on minutia while being unable to see the bigger picture.
Here's the big picture. In the words of the judge: Now, there is a stench coming from Butterfly Labs. It's a strong smell. It's not enough to send you to prison today, because, to be quite honest with you, if it was, we'd be talking about 24 months in prison. It's not -- I think it's too close.
The official word from the judge, BFL stinks. We all know BFL stinks. Yet you continue to defend them. Unbelievable!
