2021  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why hoard your knowledge about a subject. on: February 10, 2023, 11:11:10 AM

It depends what idea since if this is about earning matter where if you share your idea about this and you create competition then better keep it since you might lose some  amount of money if many people know your method. But if those idea are pretty much basic and many already knows about it then share it since nothing will happen since those ideas is already expose everywhere.

Many newcomers coming to the forum think that there is some kind of magic formula that will help them get rich quickly, rise in rank, and find out where the "money" button is located. It is from this that many come to the conclusion that someone knows something significant but carefully hides it.
I can't say that about the OP, because by skimming through his posts, one can conclude that a person wants to achieve everything with his experience, which is welcome.

I don't know if my perspective is being understood  Grin not that am saying seeking for support ain't necessary but at times put in more effort to do it and know it yourself.

But I think that he still cares about something since such a topic is raised.

As I understand it, you are a player, and you must understand that in the game, many people will have their own strategies, and it is their people who do not like to open up, just like sharing experiences passed down through blood and sweat. Many believe that if they could, then you, the OP, could fight and acquire your secrets, which you would later decide to share or not.
2022  Other / Meta / Re: Selling bitcointalk account is allowed? If not, the post should not be deleted? on: February 10, 2023, 10:05:36 AM
Just like with the purchase of accounts, based on the phrase "execution cannot be pardoned,"  there is no clear understanding of what will happen next if the account is purchased. Are we actively tagging these accounts? There is a lot of evidence that there was a change in language, the quality of the language, or a temporary break, but many accounts continue to live quietly on the forum. Does that mean you can buy it?
Does it matter if the account was hacked and got a different owner, or if the account was bought? The owners themselves can come up with any fairy tale. And it is precise because many accounts that have clearly changed owners go unpunished because DT has yet to decide whether to mark them negatively or not that such confusion arises and accounts continue to be purchased
2023  Other / Meta / Re: More information about forum on: February 10, 2023, 09:23:32 AM
Half of the forum is doing this; if you act like this, don't complain later that your posts will be deleted; you will be marked as a spammer, and eventually, you will start getting temporary bans step by step, which will eventually lead to a permanent ban.
Ask yourself, "Do you like to chew what a cow spits out?" To make it more straightforward. Cows are ruminants, and they periodically spit out their food and chew again. It is with this that all answers in some branches can be compared when users paraphrase the answers of others and pass them off as their own.
2024  Economy / Economics / Re: Untouchable Savings: Do you have it? on: February 09, 2023, 01:34:54 PM
OP, Your story speaks to your intelligence and maturity, even as a student. Some young people, even when away from their parents, do not know how to be independent. They regularly remind their parents that their accounts are depleted. But as a result, such people achieve little in life without experiencing all the difficulties of education and self-sufficiency.
I liked the phrase I recently heard in a comedy, but it is more relevant than ever: saved - consider earned.

You always need to have some kind of untouchable money in case of unforeseen circumstances, but there is also a good expression: money should not lie around as dead weight; it should work. If you have extra money, put it into some business. In my case, this is a store rental. And also, for those people who just save money without any purpose, no matter what, their profit, as a rule, always slows down compared to the money that is spent on travel, cars, houses, and so on.
2025  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Keep your head up. on: February 09, 2023, 12:46:54 PM
Never compare yourself to more successful people. Someone was born with a golden pacifier in their mouth from the very beginning. By comparing, you always get lower, despite all your recent victories. Learn to compare your present self with your past self. Who you have become and who you were—if you are happy with your changes, go ahead and do not stop.

The second way to keep your head up is to compare your problems with those of people who are much worse off. You have a house, and someone sleeps on the street; you have food, but others do not even have water.

People tend to misunderstand their happiness. But if we compare the recent events taking place in the world, which bypassed us with happiness, it will be very shameful to be offended by life because of some trifles.
2026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do we have mentors assign to you in this forum as your guiders? on: February 09, 2023, 11:40:19 AM
One spammer account was blocked. https://bpip.org/Profile?id=3531640
The moderators simply could not stand his spam. But the OP came to replace him, and also his second account, which also tries to write nonsense every day, and opens new topics.
OP, did you forget about the topic you opened?

Have a mentor and a coach in the forum.

2027  Economy / Reputation / Re: Discrimination against bounty hunters on: February 09, 2023, 09:48:24 AM
I would argue. Since I often watch bounty sections, I can say that if we see accounts honestly participating in bounties that do not violate any rules, no one will ever accuse them of being useless. I will say more. You are not speaking here in a completely quiet tone, but with some kind of pretension. But what can you say about the fact that it is allowed to have several accounts here? Is this discrimination?

Yes, participation in a bounty from one account will not bring a lot of money, and most often it will not bring anything. But bounty hunters are so greedy that when they have multiple accounts, they don't know how to handle them properly. I'm more than sure that everyone who participates in the bounty has several accounts, but some are so stupid that you just can't close your eyes to them.

Therefore, lower your ardor and the role of Robinhood. There are rules; if you please, follow them. Tell me, on what other forum can I participate with several accounts and at the same time receive some money?
2028  Other / Archival / Re: [130K] My contribution to the fight against low-value posts on: February 09, 2023, 09:10:17 AM
Lately, spam activity has moved in a different direction, as far as I know, and it is invisible to most users, but the moderators definitely know about it. This is a crazy activity of phishers who spam links in the mining and altcoin sections. I have been watching this since 2021, thousands of bans in the modlog of various newbies and fresh registrations. I wonder how this spammer or a group of spammers managed to get so many IP addresses to register thousands of accounts and evade a proxy ban?
Yeah, and bounties will continue to be a problem likely. This has always happened, but I've noticed, and I know a few other moderators have noticed, but users reserving posts, and never coming back to it at all. This is quite common with bounty threads. Instead of filling out their details like the other bounty submission posts, they just leave it blank, and go onto another thread, and do the exact same. It's like they're trying to secure a spot on the bounty, and do that across various projects trying to maximize their chances. I don't know how many of those I've deleted recently.

Reserving posts has always been a problem, but not on this scale.

I report posts like this, and I see it a little differently. Basically, these are bot machines that work; they leave their posts in any bounty, probably to increase their activity. Further, you can observe how these mature accounts simply copy other people's reports. But the more such accounts are killed, the more difficult it will be for cheaters to create new accounts. Someone will eventually win. Smiley
2029  Other / Meta / Re: bitcointalk forum vs OpenAI - ChatGPT on: February 09, 2023, 06:14:32 AM

Chatgpt is not that good for technical fields like medicine because it presents its answers as facts but it is only getting that information from doing searches in its database which is taken from the public domain. If the information it is researching is wrong then chatgpt will be wrong. Science based topics it will perform badly because most people on the internet to not understand science. Chatgpt has big limitations the more complex topics get but it is good for simple answers and is better then using google.

All the goodness of this tool, I think very soon, will turn into a disaster. Firstly, we need to remember that ChatGPT will violate our privacy. After all, we transfer to OpenAI all information about ourselves, including fingerprints, and the content we are interested in. Any of our answers and posts can be used by AI. How is this different from surveillance by other companies? In the same way, this chat in the future, having collected information, will feed users with answers that are beneficial to it.

But if the posts were of decent quality - they should've paid for them up to the point of introducing new rules.

Moderators also perfectly understand whether the post was written by a robot or a person. A dry answer immediately casts doubt on the sincerity of the author. I reported several posts with the reason "chatbot text", all reports were good, and the posts were deleted.
But do you agree to compete with the robot, agreeing that its posts are of decent quality? In this case, you can bring the future closer when, here, on the forum, and in your personal life, these robots will displace you from everywhere, based on the best quality.

Polygon helps improve and simplify the experience of developing decentralized applications while allowing its users to fully benefit from Ethereum's network effects. The existing projects developed with Polygon will help ensure continued relevance, engagement, and utility.

As Polygon focuses on providing greater developer support for ETH compatible applications and resources, it's safe to state that the eventual proliferation of eth2.0 will likely help Polygon further its impact and engagement rate.

So, I think Polygon will be relevance.

Polygons expansion efforts couldnt have come at a more opportune time. Ethereum will be transitioning to a proof of stake mechanism, making its platform significantly more efficient than in the past. Once the transition is complete, it is estimated that the transactions per second will scale from 30 to 100,000 on the network. Therefore, Polygon needed to reduce its dependence on Ethereum and offer a more comprehensive service.

Goes without saying, everyone wants to invest in cryptocurrency and be rich overnight because it is the new wave, yes, it has made a lot of people rich, but you cannot be rich overnight as it is a process. The problem remains that a lot of people do not know the right questions to ask and also the right investment platform to invest.

2031  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: February 08, 2023, 10:20:16 AM
Your friend is in sales, right? So he should learn more about how to convince customers to buy, and try to additionally read or listen to books that describe all sales strategies. During my time, I was also involved in similar work, and very often, good money can be made solely on the number of sales and bonuses. In your spare time, advise your friend to begin improving in their specialty, as today you must have all modes of communication to obtain a high-paying job.
2032  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: February 08, 2023, 08:25:56 AM
You as a student always need to remember one thing: all your spending on education is an investment in your future. You should never postpone or cut back on your education. As far as extra income is concerned, this is what most students do. If you are talking about investing extra funds in Bitcoin, you should not refuse it. But first, you must understand the old and well-learned rule that you invest only what you don't mind losing.
In your case, it is probably worth waiting for better times.

OP, I can show you a similar story where there was a lot of drama from one user accusing another of copyright infringement and copying other people's photos. You can read it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg55511429#msg55511429

But as a result of all the drama, we see the conclusion of the moderator.

AFAIK no, it doesn't apply to images.

Thank you, can I quote you?

Feel free.

And in addition, of course, it will not take much time to add a link after all. Although, you can rely on the fact that the photo will not be considered plagiarism.

Another AI detector. Pretty good at detecting human text or AI. Maybe more checks are needed, though.

Yes, it is. I was skeptical about it when my friend told me about it. To me, it sounded like another scam promotion. After conducting some online research and speaking with other cryptocurrency enthusiasts, I concluded that it was legitimate. I made an account on Earn.com and verified my identity using my email and LinkedIn. It took a day to get verified. When I connected to LinkedIn, my earnings profile was automatically updated. Since then, I've received tasks to complete, and for each one I've completed, I've received $1 worth of bitcoin that I can cash out to a wallet on an exchange like Binance or Koine x.

So far it's so good since I found it to be the easiest way to earn bitcoin. You can earn more if you are on any professional lists. You can also set a price for receiving emails; for example, if you set it to $5, you will receive $5 if someone emails you after viewing your earning profile.

However, if you lack industry experience and don't have a stellar LinkedIn profile, I would advise keeping your price at $1.

Happy Earning

OP, why are you asking a question, not from your active account? Let's ask you first why you opened two accounts and started looking for cheaters ?
Buddy, everyone has already gone through everything here, creating a new topic with a complaint about cheating, and only after that you ask of why people open alternative accounts. Holy innocence, you don't know, huh? Man, people in the bounty are ruled by greed.
I can tell that your merit fishing has failed. You are a bad fisherman.

OP, you are again giving general concepts without going into details. Can you tell us what standards the team should have? Do you really understand the meaning of the expression "routine thinking"? As for a thorough investigation, it's about the same thing again. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5436327.msg61634511#msg61634511

I'm actually wondering: do you know that in addition to opening a bunch of unnecessary topics daily, you can also spam other threads if you can't do anything else? So at least you will blend in with the crowd, and sooner or later you will not get the nickname of a spammer.

Blockchain is a decentralized and secure digital ledger that is used to record transactions across a network of computers. It operates through a distributed database, which means that data is stored on multiple computers rather than on a single central server.

In a blockchain, transactions are grouped into blocks, which are then added to the chain in a linear, chronological order. Each block contains a unique code called a "hash" that links it to the previous block in the chain. This creates an unalterable, tamper-proof record of all transactions, ensuring the integrity and transparency of the data.

The decentralized nature of blockchain makes it resistant to tampering or interference from a single entity, as there is no central point of control. Instead, the network of computers that make up the blockchain work together to validate transactions and maintain the ledger, making it highly secure and tamper-proof.

Blockchain technology has many potential applications, including the secure transfer of digital assets, the management of digital identities, and the creation of decentralized applications. One of the most well-known uses of blockchain technology is in cryptocurrencies, where it is used as the underlying infrastructure to support secure, decentralized transactions.

2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 05, 2023, 12:13:47 PM
It can also be added that while staying on this forum, some people invited their friends here, but even they did not disclose their nicknames. Sometimes it seems only from your posts that you are close to some people in terms of thoughts, views, and positions, but other than that, you do not know anything about the person. Neither who he is nor his country, gender, or age.
If you want to call yourself a bitcoin devotee, you should be closer to this position and not to the role of a preacher, to which no one has appointed you. Moreover, it is most likely that you do not have all the knowledge to teach. If the religion you belong to preaches modesty, then people who have and are interested in bitcoin should also have this property. For everything else, there is the internet.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Act local and think global on: February 05, 2023, 11:51:29 AM
In fact, today the Internet is very extensive. When talking about Bitcoin, don't put too much pressure on people to get interested. I think that everyone should wake up to it in due time and grow up. If people see in movies and TV shows that Bitcoin is presented as a means of fraud, and this is exactly what happens in my country, why should I argue? Let them think about what they want. Time puts everything in its place. I don't know—why rush things? Whether bitcoin will be accepted and when it will happen, we can only observe the regrets of those who did not know about it before. As a result, I will not argue or force, but if they ask, and they ask in a good way, not ironically, to confirm my convictions, I will tell them. Otherwise, why waste your valuable time on fools?
