right now one of my skills are predictions of the correct btc prices with the right time

You'll do well on my Machine Learning Price Prediction project.  (MLPP, not as easy to say as BPIP)  If you guess well, you'll have a provable stat and you'll be more likely to get investors to trust you.  Anyone can say they are good at price prediction, just like anyone can say they are in finance.   Price prediction can be a profitable career for you - you don't need 100% success - just more than everyone else.  Smiley

as with modern silicone masks one can  easily hide his/her true identity in front of Web camera.

While it is true that current AI algorithms are fooled by the mask, there is still enough bio metric information to 100% identify you - the AI just needs to be retrained.
Edit:  Found a link:  https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/12/tech/face-recognition-masks/index.html

This service will be one of many in the club.  No one will have to use their camera if they don't want to earn money this way.
2025  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Working online for bitcoin - would you give this up? on: August 13, 2020, 10:21:17 AM
Ok, so you've got task providers you're partnering though, and your business model is that the more tasks workers complete, the more you make.
What would stop people from collecting the $1 per hour and deliberately not doing much/any work? Also what kinds of tasks are you expecting them to do?  Captcha completions, link clicks etc?

No.  I am creating my own tasks.  With automation as one of my goals, I need to deal with situations that AI cannot handle yet.

The club has many services.  When a service needs verification, there would be a task created for an odd number of users.  The task will have links, and the link that is clicked on the most is considered the solution.

Re your last point, I work on my laptop 14 hours a day on average and even with a tab open on a different window and a noise, there's a good chance I would miss a lot of jobs because of the normal everyday things that people do - toilet, food, breaks, etc. you couldn't expect people to be proactively responsive all day, and when they miss opportunities they're being paid for nothing.

If you step away from the computer, or do not accept/reject a task, you will go unavailable.  You are only paid when you are available to do tasks.  I will prob need to adjust my numbers to pay a bit per task as well.

I just find it weird that nobody talks about OG's scam in the forum other than you. Maybe it is because people don't understand what happened well enough. I don't think I understood it well enough too.

That has been the biggest issue - presenting the crime in a way people will understand.

Simply put:  OG collected deposits separately from pirate, and when pirate collapsed, he used that opportunity to keep the deposits and pay out an "insurance' fund that no one had agreed to.

"Mr. OG - I sent you 100 BTC"
"Sorry, pirate's ponzi collapsed.  (I've taken your 100 BTC but) I saved 1 BTC for you!"
"Well, I guess that's 1 more BTC than I would have received.  You are a hero!"

I should add that TwitchySeal did most of the research (see my sig).  I'm just running with it.
2027  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Working online for bitcoin - would you give this up? on: August 13, 2020, 09:33:57 AM
Instead of paying someone a guaranteed $1 per hour irrespective of whether or not they complete any tasks though (but as long as they are "available" for the whole hour), why not pay a lesser amount as a basis (or even no base rate) and then pay per completion?  There will still be a lot of people from 3WC that will complete the tasks, you'll still have a queue of people waiting to complete them, but you won't be having to pay out $1 per hour * the length of the queue in order to get the workload pushed through.

I appreciate these ideas, as I'm still working on the details.

I don't expect people to be available for long periods of time.  When you first become available, you will get some tasks, and it will slow down.  The system will not pass a second task from the same person to you right away.

Remember that I'm not going to have hundreds of people expecting to be paid hourly.  The club is private and will grow as people start to use the services.  When you signal availability, you could go into a queue waiting until someone else becomes unavailable.   In other words, you people won't be available for hours a day at the start.

whether or not they'll be able to respond in 15 seconds to a request I'm not sure

There will be two timers - the first one is to accept the task.   Then, depending on the task, you have a second timer to complete the task.  I don't see any reason why a person working on their computer could not click a link within seconds, if they were expecting one.
2028  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [BPIP] Bitcointalk Public Information Project [Back in Action] on: August 13, 2020, 09:24:33 AM
Is there any chance the BPIP.org pages time's can be manually set to either GMT, Local PC clock or even match BitCoinTalk.org 's default time?

BPIP should be on UTC, just like the forum.

When I first programmed it, I did not take time zones into account.  So any lingering issues are probably my initial fault.  :/

BPIP Team - I'd love to make a suggestion for a feature that could help in the fight against spam.

Maximum words per minute.

When you parse a recent post, calculate the length of the post and the time from their last post, to produce their typing speed.  Keep the highest value, and sort by that metric.   You'll easily be able to see people who cut and paste, or just spew out words without context.
2029  Economy / Reputation / Re: Question for OGNasty on the missing 2,600 BTC on: August 13, 2020, 09:18:38 AM
2,600BTC, people are more interested in talking about me sending a couple of pm’s to ask to oppose a flag than this? I guess it shows the total disregard supposed scam hunters have for real people with real issues on this forum.

It's all political.  Look at the accounts propping up Mr.  OG - many of them are more intelligent than I am, so they have known this since I first brought it up.   Yet he is still paid by this forum to hold onto coin.

I like you Vod but there are those people that OGnasty owes money? Can't they speak for themselves?

Aww, I like you too, and thank you for this very important question.  Mr. OG has never denied not paying out those coins - his defense has been three fold:  1) Everyone got what they were owed   2) You cannot name a victim  3) You are stroking out.

By definition, embezzlement is not a public crime - you steal money no one is expecting.    His ponzi was separate from pirate's.   He knew it was a scam.  He told people if they deposited more than 2,000 BTC with him, they would get extra interest.  Then pirate collapsed, Mr. OG silently took all those funds, and announced he has saved the day by changing the rules and paying out a fund 1% the size he should have.  People, not understanding what he did, hailed him a hero.

Some of Mr. OG's victims have already died.  The few that we have located are on board and will speak for themselves in court.  We are hoping that the news coverage of this scam will locate the other victims.

so if you need people to test you can contact me when you start with this. more because I am curious than because of money  Wink

Thank you!  Obviously I can't make guarantees on security, but I am committed to building an anonymous, automated and secure system.  If I do something and it doesn't work, then we try something else until it does work.  The key is openness as we develop together.   You won't see me unilaterally changing terms to scam thousands of BTC.  Smiley

I am still amazed that crypto is over a decade old and people allow themselves to be scammed on this forum.

2032  Economy / Reputation / Question for OGNasty/Laudanum on the missing 2,600 BTC on: August 12, 2020, 08:43:43 PM
OG, you had a wallet collecting all the ponzi investments, and it grew to over 2,000 BTC.

Then when pirate ended his ponzi, you still had all that money in your wallet.

Then you made an "insurance" wallet, and paid that out, while the 2,600BTC simply "vanished".

You continue to say everyone got what they were owed.   So my question is When did everyone agree to receive the insurance instead of what they were owed?  Nothing happened to those funds - why do you feel it was your right to seize them?

(I really don't expect justice on this forum - just having fun with this asshole until he is arrested)

Edited to add his alt name.
2033  Economy / Reputation / Re: Vod is a liar. on: August 12, 2020, 08:36:03 PM
Any funds I held were returned to the appropriate person. That’s why you can’t find a victim and are an idiot on a wild goose chase.

OK.  What did you do with the 2,600BTC you owed to your investors?   That's all I care about.

You say you pay taxes.  The only employment taxes you have paid in seven years is for a driving school.

I doubt that small driving school has a full time "finance" guy.   You were either an instructor or an admin assistant.

Such a big talker on the internet - just another prison convict in reality.

coinrumble might be a good name for a crypto comparison site.

But give up a percentage of the company for $10?   Just register the .net  domain and keep all ownership.
2037  Other / Off-topic / Re: John McAfee "arrested" in Norway after wearing thong as face mask? on: August 12, 2020, 01:11:55 PM
Please lets stop the mask misinformation. Most of the serious medical reports state that mask wearing, even if done correctly, does little to slow the spread of the virus

You're coming to that conclusion yourself., as no serious medical reports say that.   Masks do slow the virus, because any particles in my breath are caught by the mask.  If a particle isn't floating in the air, you cannot be infected by it.

Masks are not the holy grail.   But combined with other habits, they slow the transmission.

Another boring thread about cov-19 and wearing of mask!

Cover your mouth!
Cover your nose!
what about your ear???

Masks are not to protect you!   They are to protect others from you.  It's a show of respect to wear one.
2038  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Beirut just got nuked it's on the news on: August 12, 2020, 01:01:06 PM
Nuke would cause mushroom.

Any large explosion will cause a mushroom. It's the most efficient way to spread out all the energy fast.

Just looking at it I am predicting it was some kind of pressurized fuel or liquid fuel tank which was heated by a fire and over pressured.

Guess we can't call you Analyst Techy.   Tongue

20 shipping containers would cause a cascade of 20 separate explosions..

Not really....  depends on the material strength of the containers compared to the heat and expansion.  Yes, you are correct but the cascade would happen almost as fast as the initial explosion.
2039  Other / Off-topic / Re: I think I invented a Time Machine? on: August 12, 2020, 09:04:22 AM
Jeezus. I actually applied what you said and It actually worked! I was able to produce a quantum hamiltonian dynamic superposition energy to power my Quantum magnetization atomic arm chair which is the base of my time machine that is based on your design. With a little bit of coding with my Quantum electrodynamic Intel Processor G5900T Celeron super computer and a little bit of marijuana, I was able to go back in time!

Though it forces me to go back to present after 4 hours of traveling in the past.

Stupid of you to post this IMO.... Now I'm going back in time to smoke your MJ, thereby making you unable to travel, and thus a liar.    Angry

Now I apologize if you plan to go back before me and taint the MJ with cocaine - please don't as that would probably kill me.  I wish I hadn't written this message but luckily I'm going to go back and tell myself to not post this.   So if time travel is possible, and if I believe myself, you cannot read this.
