2041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2018-2019 betting on: February 05, 2019, 05:29:19 AM
Looks like another win on the bucks.
What would you expect on a mediocre team? Of course tendencies of losing are high for them especially that they don't have an all star player. It also seems that homecourt advantage got nothing to do for them, Antetokounnpo was a big monster ,but still, props for them Smiley.
2042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I lost 30,000 on superbowl. on: February 05, 2019, 04:43:59 AM
I know its not much but still sucks
I guess you're not a small time bettor because losing $30k seems not a big deal for you, for others that amount already means a lot. Anyway, that's the life of a gambler, sometimes you win sometimes you lose so better luck next time. Just always remember that risk what you can only afford to avoid regression.
2043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Understand addiction! on: February 05, 2019, 03:26:09 AM
That's right,I want to eliminate that habit.Well Pornography gambling is inherent in my soul and such pleasure is only temporary.Planning to build my first career like your said but I doubt whether the addiction will appear again or not cause there is definitely a desire to do it?Trying to stop the habit repeatedly but can't,other alternatives become a second way for me but it's still difficult.
Pornography gambling? This is my first time to get heard of that. Are you serious with this or there is an "and" in between?

Anyway, I can feel you bro. It is very hard to change especially when you are already imprisoned by such evil things but remember that there's always hope. My advice is find your motivation first because it will serve as the source of your urge to change (e.g. Family).
2044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: February 04, 2019, 01:40:16 PM
That's what separate elite and a future legendary player like Lebron or Kobe and B side great player like PG. They are one level below, while Kobe and Lebron won championships and MVP's while majority of them are chasing their first title and we don't know if they can even achieve one in their entire NBA career.
However, their names are already recognized so not bad at all. I believe that one of them could be a future legend as well, if it's not then future rising stars (one good example is Luka). There's nothing permanent, even the King will pass his thrown to others when the time comes Grin.
It's now getting clearer...Lebron is not going to the playoffsssssssss! Wahahaha
Our predictions are not the same. What I think is that Lakers can be able to qualify for the playoffs but probably not even in the semis. Well, it's still too early to make conclusions so let's keep waiting.
2045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Cosby buys 750 BTC on: February 04, 2019, 10:31:29 AM
What a witty move of him for using one of the unique features of btc, which is decentralization, to escape such penalties (but not admirable of course). But the bottomline, escaping justice is very wrong thus he should still face all of its consequences.
Quote
Cosby’s escape from justice is an example of an illegitimate activity that many investors have been accusing. If Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are only considered to hide the truth, wouldn’t this only hinder user adoption?
Sad to say but it does. I always feel upset every time I hear this kind of news because it greatly affects the image of btc and crypto as a whole. I guess not only btc's loopholes are the main responsible for not achieving mass adoption, I think serving as an instrument for doing evil stuffs does.

2046  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Worth Bounty ? on: February 03, 2019, 04:52:11 PM
Dude there's no need to search on every corners of this forum just to find campaigns because they can only be find either in the Services or Bounties Section Grin. (I'm really not sure if it was a hyperbole or you are serious with that one).

Anyway, if you are no longer contented on the payments you received from bounty campaigns then why don't you try sig campaigns. It offers bigger pay rates (but not as it was before of course) and usually in weekly basis.
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW Android Wallet on: February 03, 2019, 01:06:20 PM
If it is true then why I haven't heard a single article for its launch or a public announcement or even an advertisment. How ironic that MEW is one of the most popular digital wallet in the industry but made an app version in secrecy. So weird Huh Well, maybe I'm just overthinking so I think much better if I verify it for myself.

If ever this is true, then I will definitely use it because it was ERC20 token supported.
2048  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Misuse of the quote button on: February 03, 2019, 11:07:08 AM
It was sad to know that the violator given above by OP was a senior member, that was so disappointing Undecided. But that is not the worse, another part which annoys me is the fact that he only did a one liner post (probably he was thinking that his post will look longer by doing such thing). I'm pretty sure that all of us have the sentiment regarding this.

Anyway, there's nothing new. I know that it all sucks but actually I'm now learning to get used to it as time goes by. It's just like that I already accept that committing such lapses are inevitable.

I agree with clicking the link from Quote from: (Forum User) will redirect to the post that is not snip like this post I quoted. I've been doing that when I'm searching the forum to redirect me to the post I wanted to find or to read.
Hmm, I think it becomes a laborious task because you need to click the link, wait for loading then go back again to your post. Nevertheless, it is still a good suggestion when it comes to the issue of making cleaner appearance of posts Smiley.

MEMBER LANG) on: February 03, 2019, 08:52:04 AM
Salamat!
Hmm, even I wanted to grant your request I still can't because I haven't known somebody. Although I have an attitufe of being a "profile digger" sometimes but this won't help because I usually do it only in higher rank members. So I suggest you to look in this thread, lots of applications are posted by jr. Members and newbies there. I just hope you can find someone which you think is deserving for your sMerits Smiley.
2050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: February 03, 2019, 05:43:10 AM
Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment?
Of course because it is the real essence of crypto, it was not actually intended to be made for trading purposes.
Will it be useful and convenience?
Absolutely yes! The most popular digital wallet used here in our country (which I used also) not only allows you to store coind but aldo offers payment transactions using btc. You can pay electric and water bills, TV cable fees and even buying a prepaid load for mobile devices; the good thing is there is a 10% rebate for every payment you will do. Thus, making it more convenient and practical to use Smiley.
MEMBER LANG) on: February 03, 2019, 03:03:40 AM
A newbie with 54 merits, so impressive Shocked. I take a look in your post history as well and find out that it's not surprising for you to get such amount of merits — you are considered a good quality poster. Keep up the good work (I'm also interested on the video you've made, maybe I'll watch it later lol).
2052  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Altcoin Bounty Hunter on: February 02, 2019, 06:08:17 PM
As what I've said on the previous discussions, bounty campaigns are no longer much profitable unlike in the past two years (IMO)  You are also right, fake bounties are viral so if I were you I will try sig campaigns. It pays weekly and you have nothing to worry about the value of your reward since it will be bitcoin. Another, if you are good at something then offer a service. It would be a nice source of crypto earnings as well.
2053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies (beliefs) on: February 02, 2019, 03:52:23 PM
If there was any strategy I would recommend it would be going all in with your gambling budget on one or two bets.  The longer you play the more the results will lean towards the expected probability.  For example you can get 5 tails in a row on a coin toss but if you do one million tosses it will be very close to 50%.
You have point on that part but not everyone of us have the guts to go all in simply because it is an all-or-nothing situation. But if you are really sure on your cards then why not, taking risk is a part of gambling, get used to it or else you will not win.
2054  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Worth Bounty ? on: February 02, 2019, 02:59:31 PM
IMHO, bounty campaigns (or even sig campaigns) are not as worthy as it was before when the market is very lively. I still remember the time when my mentor told me that he was able to buy a new motorcycle in full cash when btc is on its prime but now I guess it would take a long time to achieve such thing. So if your income solely depend on here then better for you to start finding a job right now.
2055  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Rewards and Treats on: February 02, 2019, 01:10:40 PM
So following on from the Thank You Bitcoin thread, I thought
it would be an idea to create a thread where people can post
their Bitcoin Rewards or how they have treated themselves
with the proceeds of Bitcoin.
Since you knew that there was a Thank You Bitcoin thread already then why did you not post it there and choose to make a new thread for this? Sorry to for opposing you but I think making this thread is not necessary at all. Nonetheless, I feel happy on what you achieve with the help of btc.
It also helped that we were approaching the ATH so the value
of my holdings was super inflated. I really was coincidence that
I happened to make the treat at that time.
Good for you dude. Actually you make me feel a little bit jelous because you have big holdings that time thus resulting to more profits. Me? I only got around .001 btc because I am just starting in crypto world by that time but I'm still happy because at least I was able to buy a new smartphone and a pair of shoe with that small amount Smiley.
2056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't let those spelling mistakes & poor grammar turn your post into a shitpost. on: February 02, 2019, 12:15:18 PM
While stuck at local board because of lacking the experience to express your opinions in English language, he/she can start using both local language and english like Thaiglish, Spanglish, Taglish and more.
Hmm, so you mean that it is okay to use combination of Spanish and English words (just an example) in a single post when posting outside the local board? If yes then I don't think it would be a great idea because it will definitely create confusion on some of its readers since not all of us can understand Spanish.
2057  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MAY CHANCE BA NA MADEFEAT NG XRP ANG BTC BILANG TOP 1? on: February 02, 2019, 09:59:46 AM
Wala!
Chill dude, don't get mad Grin (I just based on how your post sounds like). Yeah! I know that it's very tiring to see repeated topics over and over again but you should understand that there's no rule that prohibits such thing so you should be the one who adjust. Just ignore them if you really hate such kind of discussions.
First, you are right. CMC is not the basis for telling the rank of a particular crypto, market capitalization does.

Second, the title "Mother of Crypto" says a lot already but how sure you are that btc will remain the king forever? I'm not against btc or whatsoever, what I'm telling is that every alt still have a chance to kick btc out of his thrown but the problem is that it was very small only. However, we can't belittle those small possibilities because everything could happen in the future.
2058  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: cabalism13's Activity Tips on Ranking (TAGALOG) on: February 02, 2019, 07:12:49 AM
As I looked into Vod's BPIP.org, I noticed that I have met another achievement, and this might be MY ACHIEVEMENT OF THE YEAR.

So you lately noticed it Grin? Actually, not only you made into the list, I've seen bl4nkcode and finalshot2016 as well. We're very proud of you because you prove to others, mainly to foreign members, that not all of us are shitposters and Filipinos got a value in this forum. Congrats once again.
2059  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't let those spelling mistakes & poor grammar turn your post into a shitpost. on: February 02, 2019, 04:46:48 AM
Well, it should be check all the spellings and grammars before posting right?
Yup! Checking your post before posting it is very necessary. Reading your post repeatedly after you wrote is an effective way of checking because it does not only help you to find grammatical and technical errors of your post but also helps you to figured out whether your post sounds pleasing or rude to other members (it is important to maintain the good impression of other members to you).

Here's a friendly advice for those who struggle, if you are really not comfortable in constructing English compositions then don't push yourself because insisting to do so might leads you to get nothing but bad experience coming from bashers out there. So stay in your local board for the meantime, study English lessons and come back to the international boards once you're ready.
Does a small typos can turn your post into a shitpost? My opinion is not
I agree. For me, a post with mispelled words, few wrong grammar and wrong use of punctuations is not considered a shitpost, the off topic one does. As long as I can understand his point then everything is fine with me and besides we can request for a clarification if we're confused right?
2060  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Whale exposed! on: February 02, 2019, 01:40:35 AM
So hinde.
That was possible. I've read an article about thid already and most of the respondents share the same sentiment — that it was only a transfer of fund due to external threats. Probably what happened is just that the dailyhodl.com only made a catchy headline in this news to amuse its readers or Coinbase covered up the real story.
