1041  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: February 27, 2020, 02:38:23 PM
Most people say that they didn't have any effect on their reputation due to gambling but most likely because they never have shown this to the public so then only they can realize when someone gets to know about their habit.
If you show it to a group of normal people then they might have nothing to say into you, come on! We are now in a more liberated civilization so everybody can understand that. However, if you are a gambler (got and addiction in worst case) and present yourself in a group of religious people then you should get ready to be criticized, even not by the mouth but at least by the mind which can be manifested in their eyes.

In my experience, I can say that my reputation remain intact despite of being a gambler but sometimes my girlfriend became mad at me every single time I gamble or even only telling something about it, is that counted? Lol Grin.
Thinking about locking this thread? Or need more discussion? Roll Eyes
Sure, the choice is yours Cheesy.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy would benefit if all crypto work together on: February 27, 2020, 01:01:40 PM
Hmm, no offense but the unity you are pertaining about sounds impossible for me. Every developer got their own visions for their own coin of cours and each one of them have different intentions — some aim to make a better version of btc, some made it for the sake of business and some just made it for scamming people. On that aspect, unity was already absent.

But you know what, I love the idea of "single existing coin" because what we really want is revolution right? Where all countries across the globe can engage faster and easier way of transaction between one another Smiley.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 27, 2020, 05:13:03 AM
I can't get over with Wilder's loss. Now we realized how overhyped he was (I admit that I also predict that Wilder can pull this off lol). *sigh Fury deserve it, it was a clean win so there's nothing to talk about it. Even how hard Wilder make excuses, it will never sell to the fans because he was obviously wasted.

Check this meme Grin LMFAO!

The tables have turned, He is no longer the baddest man on the planet Grin.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are now showing up on: February 26, 2020, 11:43:21 PM
This has been the norm, we saw this happened in 2017 with many scam projects ranging from lending coins and biweekly profit platforms. Funny people never learn their lessons, they will always still fall for this, lack of emotional intelligence.
Basically, greediness must be the major causes towards issues of these nature, many think the jungle is still feel with free stash of coins that they can just get to their self. The days are already here again, maybe they have learned from the past and will not fall into these obvious scams. Some of my friend investors on cryptocurrency platform, lost to many of these platforms and almost scam them with $1000. I have learned from the past and will be more careful this time.
Me too, I will not fall for such kind of tricky acts again. I once lost money and time joining HYIPs and investing to an overhyped token before (but for me a sh*tcoin now). Every time I reminisce my beginner days I can't help but to laugh how naive I am that time — how hopeful I am to get greater rewards with no or at least very small investment Grin.

But you know what, I believe that some people are good at this. They intentionally bait themselves despite of knowing it was a scam, they can outsmart the scammers. Why I say so? Because I saw that some of them really got profits, they invest early then they exit early as well Grin.
1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling on: February 26, 2020, 04:15:05 PM
What do you think, will Keeping A Record Of Your Losses Will Make You Realize To Stop Gambling?
After seeing that you could have bought a new motorbike or buy an expensive watch on all your losses that you have computed.
You got a point there mate, however, it still depends on the content of your record Grin. If the losses you counted are significantly greater than the profits you earned then you might really come to the point of stopping but if the opposite happened then for sure you might not even think of it. Gambling is riskier than what you think mate, if you are weak hearted then stop once and for all so that you will not gp through stress and frustrations in the first place Smiley.
1046  Economy / Services / Re: BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign on: February 26, 2020, 02:46:25 PM
Week 6 of the advertising campaign is finished. As always, you can check the google sheets for the information.
I haven't received the payment yet but I would like to thank you in advance Smiley.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: February 26, 2020, 01:00:02 PM
Yesterday night after finishing my own assignment, I worked as a freelancer from 12am to 2 am to complete an assignment based on electrical engineering to earn $20.
We got almost the same situation this day, what a coincidence! I pushed myself to finish my obligations here despite of not having enough rest from my previous Mechanical Engineering board examination. I have a colds and flue, my heads are still aching and my eyes still need more sleep but I choose not to. I just sleep 3 hrs. AFAIR and start posting from late midnight until the sun rise this morning. I know it's very exhausting but I understand that's how life works. Money will not chase you, you are the one who must chase. It's okay nonetheless because it was self fulfilling after all, as long as you love what you do then all the stress you feel will easily vanish Smiley.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 25, 2020, 11:13:32 PM
D*mn! That's a whole new level of dedication dude Shocked, I bow down for you. That's a good thing if you'll asked me because this only shows that you study the field you are working with before entering, that's a good trait in life. What I saw is not solely about gambling but the act of improving ones self. I wish you all the best and I hope you're enjoying your gambling life as well as your campaign right now.

In my case, I'm already a gambler (just occasional for now) before I joined gambling campaigns and I'm fortunate that I didn't got a hard time of adapting all the jargons and systems here due to my experience Cheesy.
1049  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt Coin And Shit Coin on: February 25, 2020, 10:48:48 PM
Hmm, they are both actually. Sh*tcoins are also alts (new tokens oftentimes) but only with a bad future. How can I say that a coin already got a bad future? Simple, when the investors lose interest on it. Example, if a coin was enlisted on a particular exchange and of all its hodlers (whether a came from bounty, crowd sale etc.) decided to suddenly dump all of their assets at a certain peak then that's the time where that coin losing its worth. That's because investors exit already, for sure they will not come back and find another ICO to invest in instead. And the cycle repeats on and on. (This is just my own interpretation).

For more personal opinions about this, check this out.

Anyway, welcome to the forum mate Smiley.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 25, 2020, 10:29:40 PM
Like what everyone said, gambling could be your sweetest death lol Grin. If you will not watch your step then hou might be drown on debts. Nevertheless, you can do sometbing to avoid this and the most effective way I think of is treating gambling not so seriously. I mean don't make it as a career, just play for the excitement and hope small returns. Don't ever expect that you can be a millionaire from betting, I know there are stories with samekind of scenario but c'mon! That's not the fate of each one of us lol. Play - Enjoy - Earn - Repeat, but stop don't forget to change "Repeat" to "Go home" when you already losing what you can't afford.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: February 25, 2020, 10:11:21 PM
And if you really do want to change and address your being compulsive, think of solutions that will address the items listed on what trigger your compulsive gambling. It will require a real motivation on your side to solve your problem.
Yup! If reaching our dreams in life requires motivation then what more for figting a steong addiction. So for those who are currently having such kind of addicction or even those who are broke, try to seek it from your family, friends and last but definitely not the least God Smiley. You can find inner peace through Him and every problem that we face had solutions if you will let Him enter your life and follow his guidance. Don't tell me you can't do it? Yes you can, even if you don't believe at first then still try. "Fake it until you make it" like others said, and I'm sure that you will soon realize how His blessings remove the feel of emptiness in you witjout even knowing at the beginning.
1052  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2020, 09:50:54 PM
Bitcoin has always been in my portfolio but currently I only hold 10% of assets because this coin cannot really help me to make a big profit. In addition, Bitcoin is currently very expensive and not everyone has enough money to buy so I often choose to invest in new coins available in this market. The risk may be higher but this is the only way to become richer in this market.
You don't have to buy 1 BTC for your investment, but you can buy BTC in just a few satoshi, because the price of satoshi in the future will be able to provide profit for you. Investing with Altcoin is indeed full of risks because we don't know how their future will be, but if you choose Bitcoin, certainly the future of Bitcoin will be very good.
@Blue_oxen ~ But the question here is, did you already earned significant amount of money from investing to the new tokens? If you do then good for you Smiley, just continue the good job and try to help others who really find a hard time in the alts. On the other hand, if until now you wait on the profits that your coins could generate then I think you should do mitigation measure now because there is some4 wrong already.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: February 25, 2020, 09:38:54 PM
Of course I do and I'm proud to say it. Actually, most of the money I earn here is just for my weekly allowance since I just finished taking board exams but when I finally get a job then the story might change most probably. I think it will be now just serve as a fund for my wants and gambling. Is it a practical decision, what do you guys think? Well, we can't know until has been done hehehe. Hmm, well for me that would be still okay as long as I don't forget to sety limits.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: February 25, 2020, 09:29:16 PM
if we should invest more on cryptocurrencies  this year.
Of course, if I have much spare money this time I would definitely invest further because I do believe that btc will skyrocket again like what it did on 2017. It's fine with me if it is not on this year's bitcoin halving, I'm not bothered at all I'm willing to wait because I know profits are worth waiting for Smiley.

In my opinion, we're still far from reaching ATH. I canfeel that the next bitcoin halving will bring greater improvements on the chart however wishing for it to  hit $20k is too much I guess Cheesy.
1055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: February 25, 2020, 09:09:13 PM
Quote
Hello every body.I am a Newbie. I joined Crytopia about four months ago. I hold ont and dog Now I want to practice to trade .Please help me give some idea for Newbie as me, I should trade or not? I really want to receive the instruction of the go-ahead, thank a lots.

Internet are full of information. You can make your own research to all the things you want to know. All you need to do is just invest time and effort.
Exactly, why some people making spoonfeeding a habit. Are they just too afraid of making mistakes or its already an act of laziness:Smiley? *sigh

Anyway, going back to the topic, I think the moment that OP bought coins and did nothing for the next four months was already a f*cked up situation. Why on earth he would invest without knowing at least the basics first? Though the coins he bought are considerably good, it would be useless if it is in the wrong hands. I guess the best thing he could do is to act fast, study fast and learn fast as for his money is at high risk.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus is a Fake Flag to destroy China! on: February 25, 2020, 08:57:26 PM
Does China know about this? I mean someone should go tell them that they are getting destroyed! With the 1+ trillion dollars in profit, I think they may end up with a wrong idea that they are doing fine Cheesy. Let's just calm down guys, you are making this to a bigger deal
I agree, let's chill. Making such kind of theories, allegations or any other negative vibes is not helping at all. It only creates despute which leads to worse scenarios. How come that US is destroying China's economy? Yeah! We all knew that their relationship with one another is not strong bit I think US did nothing about it.
I am not even kidding, go search for it and you will realize that this is literally just a very evolved version of the common flu, that's it. Sure it is a lot harsher and difficult to get better which is why people die but with the amount of medicine technology we have, in 10 years this will be like taking a pill and feeling better in couple days type of thing, just wait it out.
Simply because that's what Science and Technology do Smiley. Our way of living evolves as time goes by so does the means of maintaining good health. I just really hope our pace of making advancements are a lot faster than evolution process of viruses and bacterias.
1057  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having secondary/multiple accounts purpose is..? on: February 25, 2020, 08:40:46 PM
What is the purpose of having multiple accounts (alt/alts) on this forum?
And why is this allowed in the first place? I find it kind of weird.. at least.
Yeah it's weird but it becomes normal when the money talks already kick in lol Grin. Like on one point of DdmrDdmr, alt accounts particularly Full Members and up are used for maximizing their earnings here in the forum. I knew some people who are like this but in all fairness I can feel they're not just only doing it for the sake of money. They still do their best on making valuable posts and healthy conversations here. In short, they are not acting bots despite of having multiple accounts. Well some might say that it sounds greedy, yes it does lol but still the decency was there Smiley.

But for me, 1 account is already enough because it's very challenging to have an alter ego.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the Richest Man in Russia Launching his own Token on: February 25, 2020, 08:24:09 PM
Potanin already has the approval from their central bank to launch his own token, the token is going to be used by his clients to buy metals, air tickets, and transfer ski passes from his businesses.
I think Potanin actually acknowledge cryptocurrency having a smooth transaction from his clients and eliminating the paperwork and middlemen, also having a speed up transactions.
Nice! The fact that their central bank allowed him to do such thing and the fact that he is one of the most well known image/influencer there, it already speaks a lot Cheesy. It means that it will have a greater chance of becoming a successful project in the future, the only problem they just to fill up is on how they will effectively advertise and persuade their fellow countrymen to use such coin.
“The main idea of tokenization is not in buying or trading cryptocurrencies; it lies in the creation of a modern and transparent mechanism for digitizing of assets, and in the creation of new digital markets, where tokenization is a service helping issuers transfer rights to their assets into a digital form.”
Hmm, that sounds fine. It doesn't sounds greedy hahaha. Good luck, I'll look forward on this for sure Smiley.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 08:07:11 PM
I personally prefer to gamble in a casino the old fashioned way. Nothing is better, than playing some good old blackjack in Vegas.
The feeling will always be different if we go to the places like this and there's not enough comparison while we're gambling while at home.
But, many of the gamblers are busy people due to businesses and jobs so there's no time anymore to visit places like the physical casinos. The alternative that we have right now made the craving gamblers to fulfill such desire of gambling while not going outside.
That's right! I prefer online gambling (wt least for now ) because I'm very busy right now besides I'm just only a tiny bettor so entering big casinos makes me fee intimidated lol. Did somebody out there feel me Grin? Plus, another advantage of online gambling is that you can bet in small amounts thus having more time before reaching a significant loss of money.
1060  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: February 25, 2020, 03:12:13 PM
It's good to hear that many countries have already put their trust to cryptocurrencies
Indeed, it amuses me every time I hear/see such kind of news. However if we are talking about countries having their own coin, Nah! I pass Roll Eyes because I think it was a bad idea. Yeah! It really means that we're now having more crypto adoptions but the disadvantages are still greater. For example, imagine if a particular government decided to build their own token but unfortunately its citizens ignore it and still choose fiat, what do you think will happen? Of course it will be added on the sh*tcoin list *sigh.
