BTW you are only newbie with only 60 posts, How did you know all these details? When I was in your rank, I could not distinguish between posting in some boards, or even knowing that there were paid signature campaigns in the forum. is this an ALT account?

It is an alt account, he confirmed it himself in this topic

2042  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CEX.IO on: May 06, 2023, 07:15:33 AM
Dear fellow forum members,

I am writing to share my experience with CEX IO, a company that provides services in the crypto market exchange.

First, you are writing here completely off-topic on the scam accusations thread opened 5-6 years ago. You should open a new topic, if there are elements of fraud, this is a good subboard, if not, then probably in the Exchanges discussion board.

About your experience with their affiliate program, did you receive an email from them with a notification regarding the implementation of the new affiliate platform? Here they say that there are certain unexpected problems and that some things do not work properly.

Affiliate program update
Dear customer,

We’d like to start by expressing our deep appreciation for your continued support and participation in our Affiliate Program.

As we’re always in touch with our community, we’re aware of the difficulties you may currently be experiencing. To that end, we firstly want to inform you that this situation is temporary, and, secondly, elaborate on its cause.

At the moment, CEX.IO is in the process of transitioning to a new and improved platform. As with all growing pains, we are facing unexpected issues, one of which is the correct display of information in the Affiliate program section.

Consequently, affiliates are unable to see details about their rewards. Nevertheless, please be assured that we’ll continue to make payments to our affiliates in accordance with the Affiliate Program Terms of Use.

This issue is temporary. We consider this inconvenience to our affiliates to be a top priority, and are working diligently on a solution. Our team will provide an update as soon as the issue is resolved.

Thank you for your continued support and trust.

Best,

The CEX.IO Team
2043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: May 05, 2023, 11:19:18 AM
As a young person, I am overwhelmed by my curiosity in trading Bitcoin, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate for me to resign my white collar work and return to trading exclusively Bitcoin.

This was a conversation a buddy of mine and I had yesterday, and I felt compelled to bring it to this illustrious platform for the best types of advice and counsel.

Is it safe for a Bitcoin trader to quit their jobs and focus solely on Bitcoin trading if they can devote their time and attention to maximize the benefits in the Bitcoin world?

It is certainly possible, to make a living from trading but only you can give the correct answer to this question. Everything, exclusively everything depends on you. How skilled you are, how disciplined you will be and how dedicated you will be to the whole job.

Judging by what and how you write, I would rather say that you are a beginner than an experienced trader. In that case, you certainly cannot rely only on income from the trade, because there are no guarantees and you have a long learning way ahead of you. The moment you are ready to be independent and rely only on your trading skills, trust me you will not need this kind of advice from anyone.
2044  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty spammer meets AI Chat generator. Can they be banned on the spot? on: May 05, 2023, 10:54:15 AM
anyway i think it is easier to notice the posts generated through AI since the answer to some topics are somehow inconsistent to some extent so it is much easier to spot, also adding those overly excessive usage of grammars and too much flowery words.
On this part, it's not a good idea to ban someone from using AI to write, I agree with LoyceV on this point. Everyone has a different way of expressing themselves, so we cannot catch someone else's fault through words, nothing is 100%. I'm emphasizing the point, these people can use AI to cheat with multiple accounts, and I want to know LoyceV's view. It's certainly not a strange thing, cheating always has a purpose  Roll Eyes

I don't think that the primary problem here is their cheating and whether they will enter with multiple accounts into the bounty of some garbage token. Managers should take care of that, they are paid for it.
The bigger problem here is that they tire us with their "flowery words", which makes the discussion completely pointless. We read a bunch of such crap until we come to a constructive post. Isn't that completely opposite to what this forum is aiming for?
2045  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: May 05, 2023, 10:10:00 AM

Racunaju i lokal, cak i postove iz Games and rounds.

2046  Other / Archival / Re: Sinbad.io Mixer - secure, fast and easy to use on: May 05, 2023, 09:24:03 AM
I am afraid that the scammer is reading this post and then adding the real domain name as phishing site warning.

In the past, the way to faith this problem was for the owner to immediately register all similar domains. Now with the new extended extensions, it's practically impossible, a fight with windmills.

The best solution, in my view, is for the user to verify the service links using ANN page or sinbad signatures.
Also, it should be published on the site that it is necessary to visit bitcointalk ANN page to receive updates before making any mixing process.

This could be a partial solution. The design of the sinbad.io mixer is not that complicated and the links to ANN on the forum can be placed more dominantly, so if the impersonator wants to be identical, he must appeal to the forum check.
2047  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Scam Alert With the Use of ChatGPT on: May 05, 2023, 09:13:16 AM
New Scam Alert With the Use of ChatGPT

As everyone in this recent advanced digital technology is working towards the use of ChatGPT as the latest and trending development that is ongoing with the use of Artificial Intelligence in this present dispensation, it has been discovered that scammers now take advantage in this to launch a malicious physhing attacks through various social media platforms and are also targeting extension to cryptocurrency.

Honestly, this is not a big surprise, nor is it particularly new. Any new big thing that grabs a lot of attention from customers is always a target for phishing.ChatGPT is currently extremely popular, with millions of users which is an excellent basis for scammers to try to get some benefit out of it.

At the moment, the problem may be that its creators obviously did not expect this much fame in a short period of time, so they did not pay enough attention to the potential of fraud and phishing. When we add to that that social media have weak control over such phishing offers, the risk is more than obvious.

Considering that it is artificial intelligence, surely there are ways to at least minimize this problem if it cannot be completely avoided.
2048  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Telegram Bot] Bitcoin Fees Alert on: May 05, 2023, 08:45:23 AM
Less or equal, yes. When "economy" fees <= 1.

is there a possibility that the default result on /fee alert is not an "Economy" fee?
Such notification is often not usable because the economy fee is not enough to complete the transaction, especially lately when the network is overloaded.
For example, I set the alert to 10 sats/vbyte, and very quickly I received a notification that the fee was below that, but it is very far from reality. So if I'm waiting for a certain fee to make a transaction, information about the "hourly fee" status is more useful to me.

2049  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it time for Old Signature campaigns to redesign? on: May 05, 2023, 08:26:17 AM
Changing signature designs at least once every few months should have a positive effect.

Quite the opposite, signatures serve more for the purpose of brand recognition than to attract new users through clicks. Any significant change in appearance only undoes what has been built for a long time.
If we look at the big world brands, they very rarely changed anything in their visual appearance. Even when there were some changes, the basic form was mostly kept.
2050  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Pregled Bitcointalk Signature-Ad kampanja on: May 04, 2023, 11:56:29 AM
Mislim da je menadžer popunio sve pozicije u Green zoni i trenutno ne traži nove članove.
<cut>

I looked at this site a bit, they are completely irrelevant, and the statistics on their site say so. Obviously, the business idea here is to charge for "good reviews" for new ICOs and NFTs.

2052  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Spammer Blacklist] The Shitlist on: May 04, 2023, 11:21:07 AM
I'm Ogami and I've joined Stake's Campaign Management Team since last October.

I have no doubt that you control everything that your signatories write, and in accordance with your view of the quality, you calculate the post's eligibility. The problem is that you set that standard very low, low payment rate and an acceptable large number of posts. Practically an obvious incentive to spam.
For example, it is not possible to write 100+ constructive posts per week in gambling discussion mega threads. Your participants most often write there. The fact is that almost no one reads it.

You have the biggest budget, and the most participants, and the campaign is considered the least quality. This is not just my opinion.

The users on my blacklist are tagged with the number of reports I have personally submitted against them (which were marked Good). Names on the list have at least 50.

How do I count your report by username? do you do it manually or is there an easier method?
I only see the last 50 reports, and sometimes I report a larger number before the moderators act. That statistic is almost useless to me for anything other than the final number and percentage of reported accuracy.
2053  Economy / Services / Re: [CLOSED] 🔥COINSLOTTY🔥 ANN Design Competition – Rewards Up To $200🔥 on: May 04, 2023, 10:58:13 AM
I'm not sure what the new signature will look like and whether the existing ones will change, but somehow I would expect it to have a dominant green colour (same as all ANN designs, logo), not blue/black like now at least this is what I saw on your profile, LoyceV and dkbit98.

Rat03gopoh's take on the ANN thread is here: https://imgur.com/ypUgRY1

This looks great to me, I like the concept, it's something different from what we usually see here. I think that the various bonuses and benefits that you offer to your users are not highlighted enough. And there are plenty of them, and they should be used in promotion.

Baoo's take can be found here: https://i.imgur.com/YvOFEFH.jpg

I see this design more as a landing page and emphatically informative.

Jayce's version is here: https://imgur.com/jRBCmxg

As always, Jayce did not disappoint. Very simple but complete design. He emphasized your "bonuses & promotions" and "VIP program" offer really well, I wrote about it above.
It seems to me that the cover (the part at the top, with the logo) is a little bigger than it should be. It will require tedious scrolling. Maybe I would move the provider logos below, I am of the opinion that this segment is not the most important.

If you want to have more opinions, my choice would be Rat03gopoh's design.  Wink

Well, I am leaving this campaign and this is my last post wearing the BestChange signature. I will remove it after this post.

I have been in the campaign almost since the beginning, I think since the third week and I must admit that it was not an easy decision and it was not made overnight. 170 weeks, it was a good time and I must say I enjoyed it.
Here I would like to thank the Best_Change team for their very professional and correct cooperation. I hope they are also satisfied, and that I represented them in the best light helping strengthens their brand here. This is certainly not the end from my side, because I will continue to promote BestChange on other channels through the affiliate program.

All the best to this green family and may this campaign continue for a long time. Who knows, maybe I'll join again sometime  Wink

To make sure there is no confusion, this decision has absolutely nothing to do with the previous discussion about delays and panic that someone mentioned. I had complete trust in Bestchange.

2057  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why I will use this account until I recover my account on: May 03, 2023, 09:00:18 AM
I'm not saying the OP broke the rules, let alone the bann evasion. But the OP seems to be trying to get some attention and support to get his account recovered by the recovery team, well if that's the goal, IMO the OP doesn't make thread on the right board. I don't think this thread is about reputation, but meta.

It's definitely the wrong place for something like this. I think that it is much less likely that one of the moderators will look at the request for unlocking an account here.

OP, here is the invitation link for the unofficial Bitcointalk Discord channel https://discord.gg/gXkdmYrJ
as far as I know, there are some forum administrators present there, maybe you will be able to contact them easier.
2058  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone used WebMoney before? on: May 02, 2023, 11:32:58 PM
so it would probably be best to try and find a WMZ -> BTC exchange (or individual to deal with) first.

I'm just looking at possibilities for a pair of WMZ -> Bitcoin on BestChange, https://www.bestchange.com/wmz-to-bitcoin.html There are a couple of offers (maybe the OP can start gathering more information)

There is also a warning that direct automatic exchange in this direction is prohibited by WebMoney:

Quote
The automatic exchange in this direction is forbidden by the WebMoney payment system. You can exchange WebMoney WMZ to Bitcoin (BTC)  using other currencies.
2059  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty spammer meets AI Chat generator. Can they be banned on the spot? on: May 02, 2023, 11:20:37 PM
I hope he'll be banned, but just in case I've left neutral feedback. Spammers should stay away from the tech boards!

what is the final consensus for the members who fill us with AI-generated content?
In addition to spam and considering that the content they present to us is not originally written by them, whether the red tag is appropriate in such cases? or even a request for a ban?
2060  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are Promo offers from Twitter Influencers Scam ore serious offers? on: May 02, 2023, 09:46:54 PM
They want to promote my nFT collection, they dont want me to handover anything, exept for the payment for their service, some want it prepayd some not. Actually i tried to find out if all of these followers likes, retweets and other interactions are just bought by them ore if this are real interactions from real humans. But thats almost impossible to find out. But anyway the impressions for some of my pics rose significant since these guys are following me. Some went up from 6 to 20 others from 6 to 100

Do you may have some tips i could use to promote my collection without using social media are there any other alternatives ?

Honestly, influencer promotion on Twitter will certainly help in a certain way, but I am of the opinion that advertising on Twitter is overrated. There are accounts with a huge number of followers, but this does not guarantee influence.
The only ones who have real influence are public figures but I think they are too expensive for needs like yours.

you should actually activate all social media channels, not just Twitter. I think that YouTube and Tiktok currently have a slightly stronger influence than Twitter.
