2041  Other / Meta / Re: Community Opinion - Signature Campaigns on: March 28, 2019, 12:53:57 PM
As long as these site have something to do with cryptocurrencys, I think this shouldn't be a problem to do a signature campaign for them. Only if the site does not accept crypto as payment, i wouldn't like a signature campaign here in the forum so much.
I can still remember Redcoin (not Reddcoin). They also advertise their own adult site here in the forum and it was no problem as they accepted crypto as a payment.  Smiley
2042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: March 28, 2019, 12:32:07 PM
My privacy is worth more than 25$ in XLM, so I don't participate in this airdrop. I'm not a fan of KYC anyway, so this is all a no go for me. Since I never know what will happen to my personal data, I don't take part in such actions. But everyone has to decide for himself whether he takes the risk or not.  Wink
2043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VANTA a SCAM? Wasted 6 weeks working for Vanta without payment on: March 27, 2019, 04:01:53 PM
I think Vanta is not a scam. I noticed myself that Vanta changed the requirements and unfortunately they have the right to do so. That a bounty changes the requirements is nothing new and it's the same as when they demand KYC afterwards. I myself think it's unfair, but if something like this happened, I wouldn't call it scam. Only if Vanta doesn't pay out any token at all, it's a scam, but since they have even provided the token for trading, it is somehow not a scam. Nevertheless I understand your situation and would also be annoyed about it, but unfortunately that does not help you either.  Smiley
Seems like you're the one here saying VANTA is not a SCAM, errand boy. Go back and tell your masters VANTA is a SCAM. I'm letting the whole world know how shading the VANTA project was. Forcing bounty hunters to trade VANTA for 10 days in order for VNT to get listed on Upbit, is that even legal? I think that is the question that I should be asking? VANTA scammed bounty hunters yet trying to scam Upbit as well.

Dude, I just wrote my opinion on the subject. If you don't like it, I really don't care. Keep crying, maybe somebody will comfort you somewhere. I have nothing to do with Vanta, I just write my opinion here.  Grin
Why support it, if you really don't care, huh?
VANTA is a SCAM! Fake volume, it lacks momentum. By the way, you may never get to Upbit Tongue

I don't support Vanta, but my opinion is, it is not a scam (from the point of view that i know so far about Vanta). Yes, I don't like Vanta's behaviour like that either but that still doesn't make it to a scam. But that's all I want to say about it. I know Vanta only superficially and not more than that. So I certainly don't want to fight for Vanta here. Like I said, I understand your situation and your anger at it. I keep my fingers crossed that you getting paid anyway!  Smiley

Smiley
2047  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH will go back to $1 this year here is why.. on: March 26, 2019, 07:42:42 PM
The prediction is now more than a year old and has not yet occurred. Although the 80$ mark wasn't that far away, Ethereum was still able to hold its own and didn't fall to 1$. A price of 1$ is possible, but very unlikely. I wouldn't expect the price to fall this low at any point in the future.  Smiley

2049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: March 25, 2019, 05:40:19 PM
If I had to bet on either one, I'd choose Ethereum. So far it seems to be more accepted and used than BitcoinCash. Of course this can change in the next years, but somehow I think it won't come to that and Ethereum will still be ahead of BitcoinCash. Since the BitcoinCash community split up and BSV exists, BCH seems to be on the descending branch.  Smiley
2050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lightning Network will help bitcoin`s price reach 6,000 USD in November on: March 25, 2019, 05:10:20 PM
As what we see in the past 6 years. The price of bitcoin will increase this year and my estimate for the price will reach to 6,000 USD this November. And the reason behind is the booming of Lightning Network and the Lapps that base on LN.

Let's be honest and admit that the price is determined by the whales and not by good or bad news, the lightning network or the next Bitcoin halving. If the whales say it will be time for 6,000 bucks the price will rise. The question is when the whales think the price is right. 6k will come again, the only question is when.  Wink

Was man nun glauben soll, ist fraglich.

Wo und was geht voran?

Wink
2054  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN 1 MILLION in the end 2020? on: March 22, 2019, 04:21:52 PM
Well, 1 million sounds good and nice, but I don't believe that we will see this price so soon. Even in 10 or more years it can be that Bitcoin does not reach this price. First of all Bitcoin should reach other price hurdles like 50k or 100k, then you can think about 1 million bucks. Until then, all this seems like a wishful thinking to me. Yes, it is possible that Bitcoin will reach this price, but when and if it will really happen nobody knows yet. Most of all, who knows what a million bucks in 10 years is worth. Maybe in 10 years you'll just get a pizza for it.  Cheesy

2056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next New Cryptocurrency on: March 21, 2019, 11:40:42 AM

Now that Facebook has announced that they will come out with their own cryptocurrency, which platform do you reckon will be next? I’ve heard rumours that it could be twitter.

I really hope not every platform brings out its own cryptocurrency. It is good for the worldwide acceptance of crypto general, but not every platform needs its own crypto currency. It would be much better if some platforms would agree on Bitcoin or another altcoin. That would simply be more practical and more user friendly. I don't need a different coin on every platform.  Smiley
2057  Economy / Economics / Re: And Now Visa Wants To Enter Crypto on: March 21, 2019, 11:12:05 AM
I assume they are going to perform transactions on their own blockchain and if they launch a cryptocurrency it will only be available for VISA users. So i am not sure what impact will this have on the cryptocurrency market since this could possibly be a private coin, just like JPcoin is.

I can well imagine that Visa might want to reach new customers with it and they might offer a blockchain for everyone, even for people who aren't customers yet. That would make more sense to me than if they made a blockchain for there existing customers. I'm still torn back and forth, whether this is a good or bad news for the crypto world. But anyway, I'm curious about what and when VISA will be launched on the crypto market.  Smiley

I doubt Visa will ever launch their cryptocurrency (even if they may plan to create one) in the open market. What I foresee, Visa is probably going to launch a private blockchain and an exclusive cryptocurrency to be used within their network only. Even I don't think Visa customers will be able to use it directly. It will be more of a settlement cryptocurrency which would be used by Visa and participating banks for settling transactions without moving actual money from one account to another.

Okay, that's possible, of course and would also make sense. This would certainly make Visas internal system more secure and possibly also cheaper than it is at present. Either way, I am curious whether and what they will bring to the market.  Smiley

Yes, the current price is not nice. But it looks like I'm the only one who buys some HoboNickels there from time to time. At the moment I have no money to buy more and bring the price up again.  Roll Eyes
