2061  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ang susi sa para tumaas ang presyo ng bitcoin on: February 02, 2019, 12:43:38 AM
Very simple yet harf to achieve, like what others said, to increase the demand. How to increase the demand? Well, good news such as implementation of of blockchain technology in different parts of the globe, new ICOs, support from big personalities in different industry might help to create a hype thus encouraging the crowd to become future crypto investors. The other way to increase the demand is of course by continue believing to btc, buy even more despite of the downfalls.
2062  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your funds secured? on: February 01, 2019, 10:34:01 AM
I also like that to secure my funds or assets in binance especially, because the exchange there is very good and fast and safe from the word loss
No offense but that was a risky move of yours. Exchanges are not intended to use for coin storage, digital wallet or cold storage does. Yeah! There's no doubt that binance is a secured and trustworthy exchange but we can't still conclude that it will not be prone to cyber attacks anymore. Like on the famous line in Who am I — there's no system is safe — so keep playing safe everyone.
2063  Economy / Economics / Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins on: February 01, 2019, 09:27:04 AM
1. What do you think of new coins / tokens that keep appearing
2. What is the positive impact of this new coin on Bicoin
3. What are the benefits for traders with the emergence of these new coins?
1. I noticed that they're almost the same. Each one of them offers anonymity, fast transaction and lower fees, that's what I usually think of their common similarities which is somehow very upsetting because the uniqueness are gone. I hope there would be more coins emerging with great concept or at least have actual applications such as ETN (offers mobile mining), IPL (for insurance), EGC (related with environmental matters) and many more.

2. Nothing except for the hype it can produced thus resulting to more people engaging with cryptocurrency. The more crypto investors, the livelier the market.

3. One thing, for pump and dump. This is the sad truth. Majority of the investors do not look on the essence of the coin, they are more focused on trading it and and get more valuable profit (in terms of btc or cash).
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Real Solution to Dumping on: February 01, 2019, 08:27:04 AM
Don't pay bounty hunters in your tokens ,pay them in USD ,USDC or ETHEREUM to avoid dumping your tokens and that will have positive impact on your tokens
Why not? There is nothing wrong of paying them with tokens. If the devs are scared of huge volume of dumping right after the coin was listed on exchanges then they can't do anything to stop it. They don't hav3 the right to control the will of their holders.

On the other side, if they choose to give eth or usd to their bounty hunters as a for of payment then how they will increase the demand for their coin and are they prepared to spent more for eth funds despite the fact that their project is not yet starting? For me, it was a good idea in a sense that you can easily attract bounty applicants but not really helpful for the project itself.
2065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's are popping up on: February 01, 2019, 07:21:34 AM
Yes I just googled if Ireland had a Bitcoin ATM [I wasnt expecting a positive result]
and yes there is one in Dublin which I am very happy to hear!
Good for your country. Here in the Philippines, there is already a bitcoin atm also. Yup! You heard it right, bitcoin atm, which means it is only one Grin (AFAIK). I don't know if I will get proud or embarrassed about it but nonetheless an improvement is still an improvement. I hope there will be more btc atms to come in the future.
Some people get arrested after installing an ATM. I remember it was the case in ASIA.  Grin
Probably because he is not authorized of doing so or probably did shady stuffs there like putiing devices/program for getting copies of the passwords inputed by the victims there.

2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any valid reason to continue gambling? on: January 31, 2019, 06:16:26 AM
Yeah no man is an island and with the help of your friends and family, you can surpass addiction entirely. I've done that before and without the help of anyone it's totally hard.
In addition, you can also count on God. Some atheists out there might contradict to this idea but for me (even being a not so pious person) it works especially during the times when I'm feeling down and losing my mind. Actually, it's very hard to explain on how He help us but what I'm sure is that I feel relieved when I pray to Him.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's the 1st thing you'll do if you win Megah Moolah's jackpot? on: January 30, 2019, 11:15:27 PM
Mega Moolah set another record with its €18.9 million jackpot in a single spin. If you were the lucky winner of this jackpot, what will you do?
I am not familiar with that one so I made a glimpse on google to know what it is. I found out that it was a like a slot machine, hmm honestly it's very hard to win on such game maybe that's why the prize pool goes that big Shocked.

Anyway, if I will win the jackpot what will I do is to use its 1/4 for bitcoin investing, its 1/4 for any kinds of business, its 1/4 for properties (house, cars, lands etc.) and I still have 1/4 remaining (which is hundreds of million if we converted to pesos) to use for luxurious way of living Cheesy.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Unforgettable Gambling Stories... on: January 30, 2019, 12:54:55 PM
We're on this gambling game called "Guessing Game" (Three caps and one penny) which you can mostly see on carnivals.
Hmm, I don't know about this one. Well, I haven't visited carnivals for a long time so probably I'm no longer updated with newer games these days.
And because of the winning pots, my friend has been demonically lured into it. We noticed that there something wrong with the shuffler, he's dynamically cheating. My friend took a bet on it and we're sure where it resides, but the shuffler talked to him and during that time he shuffled again as fast as he can without us noticing it. And of course, we lost that game. Can't even tell the cheating thing publicly for we didnt have the evidence.
Maybe both of you got victimized by "budol-budol". For those who are not familiar with it, others say that it was a form of hypnotism and some says it was a manipulation technique in which the offender do everything (usually by talking a lot) to shift your attention into other direction and take advantage with you. Those only according to what I've heard from others, I am not so sure if I described it well since I haven't experienced this modus operandi.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: January 30, 2019, 11:53:35 AM
<snip>
I have tried it, and it gave me a lot of headaches
I know the feeling and it's worse if with matching dry lips, dizziness, nausea and body weakness all in one. That's why we only stick to brandy or beer every time we're having a hangout because we knew to ourselves that we might become "dead plants" tomorrow morning Grin.
<snip>
I think this is another way to gamble and make the reward seem plausible, that's awesome. There's nothing wrong with betting with food. Yum.
I know it sounds weird but quite fun and beneficial somehow not only because of the free food but the fact that you get more motivated to pursue higher score thus having higher grades. You can try it too.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with normal games on: January 30, 2019, 10:08:23 AM
There are a lot of chances that people can gamble, like when you try a drinking game
I really want to try this one but after assessing myself so many times, my inner self still says NO lol. I'm not a heavy drinker and if you offer me a pure gin I'll probably vomit in no time and sleep afterwards Grin.
I have a lot of multiplayer games in my PS4, like Tekken, UFC, Injustice, etc. My friends and I don't go to competitions, but we make our own, we start betting stuff or sometimes just money with whoever who wins the bracket.
That was cool! Be grateful for having friends who are console gamers because me? I have nothing but bunch of mobile gamer friends. It sucks, they can't relate in my stories sometimes.
Has anyone made a simple competition with friends and won a lot of money? Or something out of the ordinary, instead of playing in the casino but still having the chance to earn money. Share your thoughts.
Hmm, we do the usualas well, betting on UFC fights, basketball games and the alike. But there was a time when my friends and I got a small competition in our school which is related to our midterm exam. The one who got the lowest score will treat us in a restaurant. I'm not the lowest that time so for me it was a fun experience after all Smiley.
2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 30, 2019, 09:05:26 AM
He knows that even if he plays with other team, he will still get a better compensation as there are only few big men in the NBA who are as good as him.
Yup! He is one of the best power forward/center in the league. The demand for him was high that's why it's not surprising to know if Boston, Lakers and other teams are battling to get him.

Now that I've heard the possibility of AD being traded to Celtics, I become even more interested to him. If ever happened, Boston will be a power house for sure. However, I'm a little bit worried because I also heard a rumor about Kyrie's trading Sad.
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin on: January 30, 2019, 06:22:52 AM
The question is, how an average joe would able to sustain to play on a casino? I doubt that even losing a few bets will already lead for him to go home directly.
Absolutely! I think he can't even stand a couple of hours playing poker there unless he is lucky and always winning (but very ideal to happen). And besides there is a tendency that he can't handle the pressure because very small bets are not welcome there. Doing such thing might get you bullied and treated as a joke by the rich players. As a result, he will be forced to level his bets on the others which leads him faster to bankruptcy once he lose.

So as a gambler, it is very important to know your limits because sometimes being gutsy leads you to misery.

Mayweather Even Bet On Himself…Almost
There was speculation that even hinted at Mayweather attempting to place a bet worth $400,000 on himself beating Conor McGregor prior to their highly-anticipated bout earlier this year.

ESPN reported that Mayweather visited the M Resort in Las Vegas and tried to place the bet but became frustrated with the sportsbook going through legal checks. Mayweather ended up leaving before placing the bet.
He attempted to bet in favorable of himself because he knew that his opponent was just a braggart newbie in the boxing industry. He strongly believe that he can beat down McGregor despite the odds and his right, that's what happened. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to place his bet because of technical issues Grin, What a near miss!
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin on: January 30, 2019, 02:21:51 AM
Not to underestimate the current economic state of Philippines but i cant believe that there are really people who do spent time on casinos. It means there are lots of rich people who can
sustain to play on such expensive way of gambling.
That was true, there are Filipinos who are big time and can really afford to play in high-end casinos here and abroad. However, if we will compare the ratio of rich and poor, there is a big gap. There are only few elites here in our country but also have a huge number of families experiencing poverty. That is why I can't consider our economy as good as the others because of the imbalance.
Philippines is a third world country so I doubt that only the rich people goes into a casino, lots have been trying their luck to became rich or at least win big. Not just in the Philippines but other countries as well.
So mean that even the poor can go to casinos? I don't think so. Yes! I do believe that some poor people gambles due to desperation for money but only in low level. They only play small games such as mahjong, various card games, small betting and lottery (Sorry if I ever misinterpreted your question).
2076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 29, 2019, 01:16:12 PM
It is up to Pelicans of course since its not free agency and AD can't pick the team himself and needs to play wherever he is sent but Lakers could give Pelicans some good young players as well. I wonder after this trade who will be left in Lakers.
Yeah! I also heard the rumors that Davis can possibly trade to Lakers for exchange of Ingram and Ball (I just saw an edited pic of Ingram and Ball wearing a Pelicans jersey so I'm not really sure about this). If this happens then no doubt that Lakers's roster will become stronger but the question is, "Will they have a very good group chemistry?". The best example is when Leberon, Wade, Rose and Thomas play in the same team but didn't work out.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the biggest celebrity gamblers? on: January 29, 2019, 12:04:38 PM
Add Money Mayweather. Once he said,
"If I have chance to make $350 million in 36 minutes, why not?"
Is that so? We can't conclude that he's a gambler based only on that statement. As we can see, it was an indirect answer for "Are you a gambler?". Maybe he is only pertaining to boxing, who knows?

But anyway, it's not impossible for him to engage with gambling activities because money is not a problem which is very obvious in his monicker Cheesy
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2019 Betting on: January 29, 2019, 09:24:06 AM
There is now a betting for Oscar's? That was insane Shocked. If this is possible then why I haven't heard any betting happened for Ms. Universe? Seems that nitrogensports goes crazier and creative at the same time when building a game to be play with Grin

Anyway, I think Black Panther had greater chance of winning compare to others if we will based on the impact it brought to the crowd because it was a blockbuster hit and definitely hooked its viewers (Marvel rocks! Lol).
2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Outside risk: similarities between gambling and trading? on: January 29, 2019, 07:31:31 AM
I Think risk and reward are the two similarities between gambling and forex, stocks and cryptocurrencies trading.
In addition, not only gambling and trading are the same because we can also considered hodling crypto or even establishing a business as the same thing. They are all the same in a sense that you are risking your money in a thing you are not sure about. However, few of the stated exmaples are more feasible of gaining profits compare to others — these are doing a business and crypto trading. I believe that it's possible to earn through these because it is more of a strategic gameplay than just lucky-based. So for those investors out there, try first safer ways of earning money, set it as your training field before dealing in riskier ones.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the biggest celebrity gamblers? on: January 29, 2019, 04:22:02 AM
I know Michael Jordan is a heavy gambler ,often betting 100k on golf games and on the blackjack table. Any more people you know of?
Yup! But only local celebrities here in our country so I think it will be pointless if I tell their names because for sure you are not familiar with them Grin. Besides, I'm not totally interested on Hollywood celebrities who gamble. I get more interested to popular poker stars such as Tom Dwan, Jamie Gold and Miss Finland because I get amazed with their tactics everytime I watch their games in youtube (especially the bluff of Miss Finland).
