2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which you prefer to Gambling, on betting DApp or Gambling in Dice site? on: January 28, 2019, 12:46:27 PM
Here is my question, is this normal sign or I am becoming to an addicted to gambling?
No doubt, you are addicted in gambling because you spent most of your day in gambling that even your time for your job alone is now affected. But the good thing is your addiction is not toxic yet, I feel that you can handle it properly.
Then if you were in my shoe, which you preferred to focus to gamble in betting Dapp or in web gambling site?
Honestly, my first choice from the very start is to use mobile gambling app but my mind change because I noticed that fake apps spreads persistently which makes me feel scared to pick. And besides, I now get more interested to try gambling sites (due to effective advertising maybe Grin) that's why. Nevertheless, I would say that my door is still open for mobile gambling. I will make my own research with this dApp and test if it attracts me.

1> your account is hosted on there website, all it takes is 1 command to database to delete your whole account and you will not prove anything.

suppose a user deposited 10 BTC, the website can simply delete his account and claim its never been created, so what use are your secrets hash.
I see your point and I also agree that they can easily delete any account they wanted. However, even there are tendencies for this to happen, you still never heard a news having the same situation (very rare at least). You know why? It's because this is not a smart move and it never will be.

Okay, let's say that they deleted an account after they robbed 10 btc on particular user. Do you think that user will just remain silent? Of course not. For sure he will do anything to put the gambling site in controversy. As a result, many of their customers will doubt their credibility and now start to go away. At the same time they lose money which might be greater than on what they robbed that will lead them to bankruptcy.
2> or they can alter your password and claim its been hacked and its your responsibility
Actually, you make sense in this one — what a polished execution of crime. Unfortunately, the risk is to be debunked is always there. What if the user never logged in his account to other devices except on what he is using but still get "hacked". What would be their most valid alibi? Nothing, I guess.
2084  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Go-Jek gets majority stake of Coins.ph on: January 28, 2019, 09:59:34 AM
As I read the article, I thought everything is all fine and the process runs smoothly but then I reach this part of the article
Quote
Rappler had earlier reported on 9 January that the Philippines’ Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board had denied Go-Jek’s application to enter the Philippine market as a transport network company over its failure to file the required application and for its failure to be at least 60 percent Filipino-owned.
If LTFRB denied the application of Go-Jek then what's next? Does their furture partnership will be cancelled? Though the article sounds positive overall, I can't still avoid myself to get worried because I know that will be a hindrance for their project.
2085  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com -Filipino owned Social network - Get PAid for social activities on: January 27, 2019, 03:05:19 PM
Looking forward to the OP's project since he is our fellow countryman, I did not want to happen to him what happened to ICOforums before. So, I'll be watching on this thread it seems we have an alternate source of getting knowledge in crypto aside from this forum.
I also think the same way. If ever I feel interested to enter his forum then I'll already set aside the rewards in my mind because investing so much hope for achieving nearly impossible things is mothing but a waste. I'll just treat it more as a source of knowledge than source of extra income.
For now, I am going to pay out of my own pocket. In case, we will have a lot of users, then we are going to accept advertisements. Depending on the revenue, we may decrease rewards if possible.
What a generous act of yours Smiley BUT be ready because this will surely test how deep your pocket is. Good luck and wishing you and your website all the best.

I can feel that you can get merits even without this account review so I think it would be much better if you will just give this chance to others. Those lower ranked members here badly needed some merits in order to rank up of course but for me it is way more than that — they need it for them to keep motivated and to feel their self-worth inside this forum.

I am not asking you to withdraw your application (who am I to do that?), I'm just describing the things what I observed and I hope you may put this into consideration Smiley.
2087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Bitcoin on: January 27, 2019, 10:57:45 AM
Dude no offense but this is not the right place for this kind of things. Don't be surprised if someone reported you. Good luck.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thank you Bitcoin on: January 27, 2019, 10:43:27 AM
By the way, the place is Coron, Palawan Philippines.
Dude, how's Palawan? Does its natural beauty still well preserved? I ask because I heard rumors and see pics of polluted seashores there (I think in El Nido). Actually, I'm also planning to go there since it's near in our province. I'm living within Region IV-B as well Smiley.
Thanks for this post!
I'm very motivated by this. I was in a bad mood, because I read several articles about the fact that Bitcoin has no future, and now I again believe that everything is not so bad. Bitcoin has to go up!
Chill bro, just remain hodling and everything is gonna be fine. Avoid stressing yourself and over thinking because it will not contribute anything good to you. Anyway, I believe that you will get used to the drama as you grow older in the crypto world Grin.
2089  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit abused on: January 27, 2019, 08:02:03 AM
Seriously?! From September to January, just how many months was that? I don't see any reason why should this be open again?
The member who first bump this thread already deleted his post probably because he got terrified after reading your post. Well, the situation is understandable somehow since he is only a newbie, I just hope that he now learned his lesson Cheesy.

Lesson Learned: Avoid Necroposting
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin on: January 27, 2019, 06:16:52 AM
lets accept that there is no concrete words from this administration as the President itself mostly Lies
C'mmon, do not judge yet because we still don't know the real story behind this. And how do you say that the Duterte administration mostly lies? In fact, our current president is doing a great job to improve the status of our country. Yeah! I know that he sometimes have a bad mouth and sounds braggart in his words which annoys some of you but for me his personality doesn't matter anymore as long as he properly fulfill his responsibilities as a president of our country.

PS: I'm not a dutertard nor dilawan. I'm just reacting based on what I see.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Post-ICO Bounty? on: January 27, 2019, 04:01:56 AM
Uptill now i have seen only a handful of post ico bounties and to be honest all of them have been launched with a very low budget and bounty hunters have not shown interest in such campaigns due to small expected reward so to make post ico bounty successful and viral budget should be increased to decent levels.
I agree because the greater the reward, the more interesting in the eyes of the participants. More participants means nore effective form of advertising. However, there still a hindrance; a large portion of the applicants may not still become interested because they knew that the payment would be in token thus the profits they can earn depends on how fast they pump and dump or in the future of the token given. As a solution, there should be a btc bonus or the alike aside from the token reward in order to keep them interested.

PS: I am not sure if this is a good idea for others. Just my opinion.
2092  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cryototrading site on: January 27, 2019, 03:02:45 AM
Aside from the examples given above. You can also take into consideration KuCoin Exchange and Cryptopia. I know that they are new in this industry unlike Binance, Poloniex etc. but at least they are legit too and competetive as well. Another one is the Coins Exchange (I know you already heard of this since you have a coins.ph account for sure), but I'm not sure if they are running now or still in the beta testing stage. You can check it for yourself, good luck Smiley.
2093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So I told my banker about bitcoin on: January 26, 2019, 06:32:21 PM
I dont believe in this. Even 40-50 years gap has enough knowledge on sending money on a bank app and has known more than basics on smart phone. Well, it really depends on the place youve questioned for. If you would survey on provinces, where technology doesnt come often, maybe you are correct.
I believe the same thing as well. I don't know if the bank employee OP talked with is jjust exaggerating the scenario or just interviewed a primitive person. I can't believe that a person who knew to make a call doesn't know how to text where in the first place it's more basic than the first one. What the story about is that the bank employee OP mentioned is belittling others and got a very high ego, that's all Roll Eyes.

I hate those kind of people. A btc unbeliever should stay silent, respect the belief of others and do not talk if he will just say bad things against it.
2094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: January 26, 2019, 05:15:59 PM
That would definitely become task evasion. If unfortunately you turn out to be in a country where cryptocurrency is been tasked it's best to abide by the law and do accordingly. I would never support anyone to go against the law
Just a correction, it's tax not task.

Anyway, if you're country mandates a law which states that you should pay tax according to your crypto income then don't hesitate to follow it because it helps your economy in the long run. Also, consider yourself lucky because the use of crypto in your country was regulated only and not totally banned (like in Bangladesh). And for those people who live in a country where crypto is legal or there's no concrete law rgarding this matter, just continue being a good investor and don't give your government reasons to prohibit the use if it.
2095  Economy / Speculation / Re: A long decay on: January 26, 2019, 04:43:08 PM
Friends, how long the market will roll down the slope, will we see growth before next year?
Already now in the new year only a week remained until February 2. Why February 2nd? If any growth does not resume until February 2, it will be the longest period of decline in the history of Bitcoin.
Really? That's a cool yet terrible fact. Can I see your basis?

Actually, I'm full of hopes and dreams as the new year starts but now I'm doubting again that this is gonna be our year after looking everyday in the market trend and don't see any  significant improvement. I now have a strong feeling that January is not the month for bitcoin, let's hope that February and the upcoming months will be good to us.
2096  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com -Filipino owned Social network - Get PAid for social activities on: January 26, 2019, 03:32:11 PM
Here are the rates of earnings

1 Point = 1 Satoshi
Minimum withdrawal = 50,000 Points
I know that 1 satoshi is almost nothing for the majority of us. But if I ever able to made a 50,000 posts (though very long to achieve), how will you pay me and the other members who did the same? Where would be the source of funds for that? Huh
2097  Local / Pilipinas / Re: ROGER VER AT CRAIG WRIGHT on: January 26, 2019, 02:13:36 PM
Aside from those people, Hal Finney also considered a candidate as a true Satoshi Nakamoto due for having deep connection with btc's during its beginning days (he is a developer and one of the pioneers of btc).

Before I forgot, Hal has an account here just so you know. One of his threads became so remarkable and lots of btctalk members made a discussion about whether he is the real satoshi nakamoto or not. And as far as I remember it is on the Archival section, just keep digging in if you want to find different opinions regarding this issue Cheesy.
2098  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 26, 2019, 12:38:56 PM
Ask yourself if any other disruptive technology like Bitcoin would have survived this long, bearing in mind that we are being attacked and challenged from all sides. <Governments and Banks and competitor coins>  Huh
It was almost impossible for alts to beat btc so you can remove them from the considerations lol.
Let's wake the Honey Badger within us and continue the fight to Bitcoin to Mars!  Wink
I admit that my hopes for a market recovery are weakening but I can still endure the pain produced by the bearish days. I'm just not expecting too much. Whether btc will go to the moon, Mars or even to Venus if the situation gets worse (get my point Grin?) then so be it. I'll will adapt on what is in the present.
2099  Economy / Economics / Re: China says rejecting physical cash is illegal amid e-payments popularity on: January 26, 2019, 09:59:44 AM
Oh my! I can't understand why their government wants to do the opposite despite the fact that their countrymen are now embracing electronic payments. In other words, their way of living is growing naturally but they choose to stick with the traditional one. China can be futuristic — a kind of society we often read from science fictions — but unfortunately they refuse to do so. For me, the elders is not a valid reason to for a country to stop improving, they should take it as a challenge to continue further.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines' PH Resorts Group gets regulatory nod for $350 million share offerin on: January 26, 2019, 08:07:14 AM
I thought that the current administration doesn't like gambling at all?
Hmm, I get confused too because AFAIK Duterte wnat to eradicate the gambling oligarchs in our country. But as we look deeper, business is business. It's very hard to let go the opportunity (such as employment and revenues) that gambling industry can offer especially that our country is not yet fully developed. That's why I understand if Duterte choose to let them pass. I just hope the gambling industry here will not grow as big as in Macau or Las Vegas because it will surely influenced my fellow men and I think the outcome will be worse.
