2081  Economy / Exchanges / Re: new exchanger platform on: July 02, 2021, 11:58:37 PM
Don't have even a domain name of the exchange site.  How can I review it if there's no direct link above posted.

And based on Who.is, it's a two months old exchange site.

Showing legitimacy will always gain reputation and what most users looking for because building a reputation isn't just easy.
Well, good luck with your exchange to have more users.  A lot of exchange has been shutting down because of the lost popularity.
2082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie, explore and ask about the text editing function of bitcointalk on: July 02, 2021, 05:08:40 PM
The problem is Op didn't copy the BBcode format code but instead OP directly copy the site link and I tend to agree with the comments above, especially what @DdmrDdmr said.  Personally, I don't like the image hosting site that you've used, because there's no auto-copy for the BBcode.

Alternative for that if you want to explore other image hosting websites, here are the two sites that I used without making an account or sign in and sign out.

Just explore the links given above, you will see there how to reduce images by their size.
2083  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Earning cryptocurrency on your own website on: July 02, 2021, 03:56:31 PM
faucet traffic-it is constantly new visitors, very few of those who return after 2-3 weeks

So that means you need to advertise the faucet regularly. Just a doubt, is it still profitable to run a faucet?
i had a faucet but couldnt get any good income from adnetworks. CPm were very low so just closed down the faucet. The main problem is with bots. They just come and drain the faucet. How do you manage these bots?
advertising is needed in the first couples, then affiliate will work
today there are enough secure scripts for normal use such as gr8 or claimbits.they are very well protected
Is worth it enough your time to spend collecting satoshis for this faucet?
It might not worth it now because it requires a high minimum amount before you can withdraw from the site, about affiliation, this also needs advertising to a website that has huge traffic.

I visited the site that you have said, it's 5 minutes interval before you can claim the faucet but the problem is, instead of sats they give bits and then convert to Bitcoin.  For sure it will take time before you will hit the minimum required amount of withdrawal.  I prefer to use Freebitco.in than this.

The fact is, any faucet sites these days aren't profitable enough upon earning free Bitcoin.  It's kinda waste of time, IMO.
2084  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preferred Escrow and why? on: July 01, 2021, 11:56:28 PM
Making purchases with crypto can be nerve racking and come with associated risks. What's your favourite Escrow to use and why?
If you will use outside forum escrow, it also involves risk since you don't know yet them well.  Picking a trusted escrow is always have a risk because you may be contacted by an impersonator and acted as an escrow but in fact, it isn't.

Why not choose a legitimate trusted exchange to purchase crypto and not worry about looking for an escrow service.
Or if you were afraid of the KYC, choose a P2P exchange, these exchanges are the third party which is acted as an escrow between the buyer and the seller both safe while having a transaction.
2085  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Quality Can A Newbie's Post Be? on: July 01, 2021, 11:42:12 PM
Everyone has something they can contribute to the forums even if you aren't a Crypto expert.
Of course, even someone didn't know anything, at least he/she can obey the rules in this forum. It is also a positive contribution. Other things that everyone can do are reporting spam posts, merit abuse, plagiarism, or bounty cheaters. Someone doesn't need to be a crypto expert to do those things. Just report in a proper way once finding them out.

The most important thing before you will start posting here in the forum is to know the rules or guidelines in the forum and newbies should aware of those rules to avoid dealing with a mistake that is a possible bannable offense and there's no second chance like copy-pasting or plagiarism.

This forum has free of speech, it is a community in which you can express your opinion and the thought, you can agree or disagree in any statement that you encounter based on your perceptions and the reason why you disagree or agree, or adding a new idea that much better as long as you always didn't get an off-topic answer.

2086  Other / Meta / Re: 60 Days Ban Appeal on: July 01, 2021, 11:15:32 PM
I couldn't believe this would happen to someone as prestigious and experienced as efialtis. It seems this case will not be approved and this appeal will not be valid? 60 days is a long time for someone who regularly works and is active on this forum. It must have caused a lot of problems at work, it's a pity that this happened.
It so sad to know about efialtis that was banned and I thought OP was aware of that rule of this forum since efialtis was also an experienced member here for how many years.  As I remember correctly, OP got 60 days ban for this offense, and the participants also got 30 days ban if there is.

This was the same case when I was joining webstrick's thread giveaway using altcoin(without knowing me it was a bannable offense), I got 30 days banned and OP was received 60 days banned.  After that, I promised myself I will never join the altcoin giveaway or avoid participating in any giveaways in the Games and Round section, unless if that is offer Bitcoin giveaway.

Sad to say but mods mprep was right and I think efialtis must move on and this just a lesson to learn.
2087  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Prediction: $350k before the end of 2022 on: June 29, 2021, 11:55:31 PM
It seems your prediction is unrealistic or unlikely will happen.  Bitcoin price isn't a have infinite growth and the price of $350k for more than 1 year in a short period of time to have a bullish market.

I believed Bitcoin will always make an all-time high price after the halving happens, it's proven itself since we are already on a 3rd halving and after a few months, Bitcoin has increased the price.  So it might after the next 4th halving Bitcoin create another hype and also an all-time high price if it will surpass the $65k previous ATH, but I think we still didn't reach the $350k as your prediction, that's too much price.
2088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About So-Called "Shit-coin" ? on: June 29, 2021, 04:50:54 PM
Most of them start with a pump and dump, the sole purpose is that they created as a copycat because of this pump and dump and then the owner abandoned once they earn a lot from the naive investors.  So they called it "Shitcoin" because there's no value on the market, the causes are they don't have actually a real purpose in crypto space or lack of functionalities.

However, it is easy to spot possible shitcoins projects, it could always start with the owner and the developer and then followed by all fake documents.  Investors who want to have a quick profit without proper research will always end up investing in a shitcoin on their portfolio.
2089  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm new here on: June 29, 2021, 02:57:10 PM
If I don't know anything about crypto then I don't think i need to be here trying to do well with impressive posts.
No, you don't need to impress others if you don't have enough knowledge of crypto.  If you're here willing to learn about crypto stuff, you're in a right place.  I suggest you spend more time reading on the forum rather than thinking of what you can contribute, there's no need to impress other members if your purpose why you're here is to learn, just ask and don't hesitate it, everyone is willing to contribute those older members.

Can someone do well here without having good knowledge on cryptocurrency?
Can I post in non crypto related thread and still do well here?
Explore this forum and you will not regret it, you will find also a non-crypto-related discussion but it might good if you will start and begin in crypto stuff.

I have few ideas on trading stock but I don't know if it's some how related to crypto market cos I can't just wait to explore this site. The rules are somehow confusing but I'll try and go through it again.
Ain't an expert much about trading but I think they are the same mechanism of strategies and analysis but the difference is crypto trading is more volatile than the stock market.  Soon you will learn regarding that matter if you will pursue yourself how to learn.

By the way, welcome here in the forum and see you around.
2090  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will bitcoin be worth in 2030? BTC price prediction on: June 28, 2021, 11:36:56 PM
BITCOIN is the big one when it comes to cryptocurrency, being one of the first established coins on the digital market. But what will bitcoin be worth in 2030?
That's 9 years from now at this current year and every 4 years there's a Bitcoin halving come, so there's supposedly a two Bitcoin halving come.  The halving 4th was expected in 2024 and the fifth one is in 2028 and every Bitcoin halving comes there will be a new ATH come as the most anticipated event.

See this image below as the prediction of the halving.

source

So your question is what will be the worth of Bitcoin in 2030?  It's the most expensive asset and worth it to hold.

2092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to deal with bear markets on: June 28, 2021, 10:51:26 PM
5) Block all the haters - We all have a few people who can't stand to see us happy. It could be a "friend", a family member or even an ex. Block these people and don't give them the opportunity to laugh in your face during heavy sell-off.
This is something new for me and that's right, you can also block all those social media influencers because they keep spreading FUD all the time and put in your ignore list and don't listen to them.  They used us for their own benefits.

If you're always confused with the price and always looking into the chart, you may always think of cutting your loss which is what most common weak holders do.  They think that they are in a trap and the market will not recover again, most likely this perspective was generally common on newbies or new traders.

Im a scalper or day active trader ...
Ain't expert on day trading, when the market begun dumped, is that scalping really giving benefit? or rather hold your asset?
2093  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price prediction? on: June 28, 2021, 04:56:56 PM
If the situation is as bad as the current BTC price, I will never view my account but temporarily close it, do another job to forget it, and then open it again after a while. Because if now every time I go to look at it, I feel uncomfortable and confused about the decreasing value of my property.
It's a good strategy and I think that's worth it, this was also in my mind that never look at the market price daily nor weekly if you're a long term holder.
There's no deed to predict because as we saw, the mass adoption of Bitcoin kept coming and until now, private, big companies and institutions are long-term holders too.  The price will always be heading up that way.

But I have a tip, store your Bitcoin in a wallet that you have full control over your coin and make sure your private key is safe and in a secure place.  If you will be lost, you will also be lost your Bitcoin and become unrecoverable.

Just stay on your plan.
2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bulls back? on: June 28, 2021, 04:21:09 PM
What the heck is happening  Shocked? The market looks to greenish today im currently seeing some big green candles on BTC and other coins charts, are the bulls back or what?
If you're a day trader, I wouldn't blame you if you were happy to see the market price get spiked after seeing a long drop in all crypto prices.  I hope you enjoyed while seeing big greenish candles.  But if you're a long-term holder, it's too early to celebrate that there's a bull trend because there's no clear cause of this sudden price surge in the market.

It seems always like this, after resistance it's expected that there's a long drop again, but if the price will break at the range of $40k, it might a good sign to call the market a bullish one.  For now, it's really hard to predict, much better if font looks at the market if you're a long-term holder.  Because there's a guarantee on the Bitcoin price, it will be growing up because of the ongoing mass adoption and institutional investors keep investing in Bitcoin.

There's more pullback if you will keep holding Bitcoin.
2095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fixed supply vs reducing supply on: June 28, 2021, 03:53:46 PM
I want to make this simple, Bitcoin now has been reduced the supply due to the forever lost Bitcoin from the lost private key and the address that unrecoverable.  Experts say, its 20% has been already reduced and it was reduced to the total circulating supply, instead of 21 million Bitcoin it's now approximately more or less 18.7 million based on the CMC record.  This might increase the lost Bitcoin each year and possibly, it will keep reducing the circulating supply.

So, logically, Bitcoin becomes more expensive when the supply becomes less and that's I think the great advantage of Bitcoin when it will keep reducing the price plus another factor of the ongoing mass adoption.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do we confirm the long term aspect of a project is guaranteed? on: June 27, 2021, 11:38:29 PM
My question is, AT WHAT POINT OR DAY DO WE SAY THAT THE LONG TERM ASPECT OF BITCOIN HAS BEEN ACCOMPLISH?
When do a long term project becomes successful?
Bitcoin is the only coin that proved itself to becomes worth it to invest in a long period of time.
And here is the most characteristics that we must consider before investing.
  • at very first and most important, it should have a fixed total and circulating supply
  • Open source code so that there's a trace of developers activities
  • The price history should have enough length to prove
  • Community activity that keeps discussing the innovation of the coin
  • and the last but not least, the true usage of the coin and how it will solve the problem
  • Truely decentralized, unchanged protocol

AFAIK, only Bitcoin has this aspect.
2097  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Dip? on: June 27, 2021, 05:07:39 PM
Most of the line that users usually advise upon investing in Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is "buying the dip" and the next line is "selling on high".  That's the correct way of investing in Bitcoin, so your question is, what will happen if the dip will continue.  Just hold until your profit was there in your portfolio and it means, that's the right time of selling your crypto.

Many people trap while buying at high because they don't know what actually the current status on the market, is it a high or in a dip.  But they determine on it when the market painted a red.  If you will patiently wait until the price is high, this isn't a big deal for you.
2098  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chip Mixer signature: not responding. on: June 27, 2021, 04:50:15 PM
Opppsss... it seems it works on Firefox without any issue but in Chrome it doesn't work.
I'm using a firefox browser and it seems there's no issue for me, it's working very fine.

I didn't try on any browser but I think is there anyone of you who tried a hard refresh in your browser used? (CTRL+F5) to clear the cache.
But it's good if we hear feedback from the Chipmixer as well to clarify what they experienced.
2099  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Winter Is Coming, Warns Experts on: June 27, 2021, 04:29:46 PM
This isn't new, there are more like him trying to spread FUD and seeking public attention.  It seems they are also want to become an influencer and trying to call out themself as the expert on predicting the Bitcoin price which is we know that it has an unknown movement or let's say, it's unpredictable.

There's no winter or summer, Bitcoin goes up when the price goes up, just because it's a matter of demand and supply, nothing else matter.  It might the continues FUD that happens Bitcoin hardly enough to recover the price due to different FUD has recently happened like China banning that really hurts the market.

I don't think if this JP is worth it to listen to his opinion, which is if we analyze very well, they don't fully understand yet how Bitcoin will work the price.
2100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mechanism for Retrieving lost BTC on: June 27, 2021, 03:44:03 PM
Is there a way to recover lost BTC?
There's no way to recover them, lost Bitcoin is just permanently lost, and sad to know, the lost Bitcoin kept growing in available circulating supply year by year.  This is just considered as forgotten or forever lost and it will be reducing the overall circulating supply.  There's no way can change the fixed limited supply of 21 million, unless if there's someone who will change the Bitcoin protocol which is a big irrelevance from its users and also the miners.

You can't compare the fiat currency into Bitcoin, while the Federal Reserve can print more money or for the government can continue to fund its deficit spending.

Just my two cents ain't expert about banking finance.
