Updates:
The following is another image showing the PoS-II. Notice the balance in the wallet could be 10 times of what lionheart78 had, while PoS rewards are nearly the same. The second image shows staking at an earlier time, that is actually more than what we got in the first image. That being said, people who have a large amount of coins don't have any advantages in staking, instead rewards reduce over time. ATT: All these are tests on the testnet, XMG not yet launched. To be on the safe side, we may need to further observe and confirm the network sync issue, cause of that is correlated with the PoS block. Hard fork can happen if some nodes cannot sync; they could stay in a different chain once new nodes join and connect with them. We suggest more people take tests to mimic a real situation. Launch time will be decided once we assure everything goes smoothly.

also it need libboost 1.54 instead of 1.55? how can it run on my pc if i have boost 1.55?
what is db version needed?

may need to install 1.54 as linux requires library match; db is 5.1. Which linux version you're using, option is I compile a wallet for the system you're using, that way you won't need to change libraries that may cause dependency issues.

using ubuntu 14 atm

a bit late here, I will set up a ubuntu virtualbox tomorrow, and compile the wallets (you reminded me, ubuntu is a popular flavor (I am a linux mint fan), will need a few wallets).

Ubuntu wallets uploaded: http://cryptomagic.com/files/magi-release/

gonna wait for the PoS to kick in then ill send another image

People reported issue with sync, also confirmed one of nodes ceases to sync with network, will proof read code; revision might need to be done.

there ar 3 active node in my wallet still sync with the network though, PoS havent kick in ;

Will be waiting. Thx.

All prior communications are all about the testnet, not launched yet.

here is the capture when i mine with the wallet found some blocks

You got 97kh/s, how many cores are there? looks good so far.

i have 2 core with dual threading virtually 4 i guess lol

I read less hash of your CPU than i5 as I tested about 130kh/s with 2 cores enabled lol .. I was running a few nodes with cpu mining enabled, most of blocks minted there so far.

When did you start...

We will keep it on the testnet few days, consider the launch then. I'll need more feedbacks, please run the wallet and let me know. Any one getting network sync issues?

Downloading the wallet .. what else do you need?

sync first, done?

It turned out very quick initially, then getting slow and slow, stopped somewhere, what to do?

Add a node I mentioned before, and relaunch the wallet.

did you used the name from the anime magi? just curious

hmm.. I reserve my opinion on that; Magi better to be a flavor people like Smiley, by the way google search pulls up something intereing "coin of the magi".

Just a idea!!!

I think it will be nice for the future of Magicoin if the ann-thread has been translated into several languages.
I have translated the ann into Dutch. Are there people within the community who speak a different language? If so, use half an hour of youre time for the translation and post a new topic in the forum of the language. Remember to send a link to the dev so he can add info etc.
The more people know Magicoin the better en stronger he wil be.

Thanks for the translation, 111magic, updated the link in the op.

We can do this at an appropriate time; are they good/trustworthy in keeping personal information secure?

testnet fork?
can't sync
current number of blocks 2744
estimated total blocks 2753

How about close and re-open the wallet? addnode=66.55.90.58 if needed.

Good idea developer!
The community involvement in the testing of the coin!
This way you can answer all questions and resolve problems.
Super! Wink

Yea, running some tests and also we can set up wallets for different systems, going forward, to be ready for the launch.

help

I think you're trying running on the mainnet; create magi.conf in folder: %appdata%\magi, and then save this into that file: tesetnet = 1; start the wallet again, you will be on the testnet.
