My wallet can not send coins to the trading platform, wallets show sent successfully, but did not receive any currency trading platform, network and P C network is the case. My wallet version v.0.0.2-magi

You're in wrong version that gets coins lost. Could you PM me about the details? We will try to make the compensation.

http://cryptomagic.com/files/magi-release/win32_magi_v1.1.0.1.zip

But I only use this version of the purse to update synchronize data download other versions are unable to synchronize data

When using the latest version, it might be necessary to delete prior block data. (except wallet.dat, also make a backup). If the wallet doesn't sync automatically, add following nodes:
Code:
addnode=66.55.90.58
addnode=107.170.52.31
In the console input increases Address error:

Quit the wallet first and then download this file: http://cryptomagic.com/files/magi-release/magi.conf, put it into %appdata%/magi/ and then restart the wallet.

Edit, make sure the name is
Code:
magi.conf

I notice that a kind anonymous benefactor is currently hashing away at my pool accounts with about 10 Kh/s and has been doing so for some time. Thank you. Your software is running just fine. If you would like to run the Setup.bat file and start mining for yourself, now would be fine by me. Thanks again Wink
lol, why to change config.. just run it! xD

Cheesy that's what I thought in the first moment. But Spexx is honest Wink
Absolutely. It is all there in the read.me file ... you know ... the one nobody ever reads Wink
RTFM Cheesy

Always happens that way, when people download something, it's tempt for them to click before reading.

Need to delete the prior block data, go to %appdata%\magi and delete everything EXCEPT "wallet.data", BE SURE have a backup, and then restart the wallet

How many coins you did transfer using the old version?

Also I'm talking the maximum, actual withdraw could be much less depending on the usage. In any case, how the amount will be spent will be given per withdrawal.

DJM, we already discussed this issue, right? Keep coins to be sent under 10% something, according to coins acctually mined; agreement already made.

And don't be afraid the amount to be withdrawed. That includes PoM payment too, unless you want to get payout delayed.  Grin (You're in the list)

2) mobydick (Poloniex) personally holds 350,000 XMG and provides escrow service for us (his bitcointalk username: MobyDick_Poloniex). We will be able to withdraw coins maximum once per week, and at leas over 10 weeks. This is his address: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/address.dws?9AJLsCuLryY2r7ihHAzjoU6PdBofECQKsN.htm

about this,I have 2 little question:1 "withdraw coins maximum once per week"  maximum number is what?  2 Is this 350,000 XMG used for bounty?

350,000 / 10 = 25,000 XMG maximum per withdrawal; and surely if the community think this is not safe, suggest me a number you think of we can go with.

MobyDick_Poloniex basically asked me to do withdrawal request and with a written requests as to the purpose of withdrawal. So you'll see what's been used in that request. Before that I'd roughly speak of what will be spent:

1) A major part is an amount of 112,505 XMG, which will be distributed to the PoM participants (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=802681.0) (won't be one time sending, but a few)
2) The second part is 165,390 XMG for swap (again there is details in the update section)
3) The remaining will be used for promotions, staff bounties (and yes we may have bounties for additional devs if any body is interested to that)

So you all can judge the validity of these spendings. I'd mention, if you think we should burn more coins (from the remaining part), we can do that once we confirm the necessity.

Hey folks,

I've just updated the paper wallet a little. The functions in the paper wallet work as before, the update is more in the design of the page.

What's been updated
  • Made the logo larger
  • Added an italic text to the header
  • Change place for the randomness countdown placement
  • Removed the option to input key strokes to the randomness generator, your mouse movment should be enough
  • Added direct link to this thread
  • Added direct link to announcement post for the paper wallet
  • Added some nice meta tags twitter and facebook
  • Added a fav-icon
  • added coin source trust verified link

If you find any typeo's, please PM me and I'll adjust them Smiley

http://paperwallet.coinmagi.org/

For those how want to get the source directly http://paperwallet.coinmagi.org/mpwg.zip

If you plan to cold store you coins it's highly recommended that you run the generator from your local computer and not via site. It's build as an offline page so everything you need is included in the zip file.

Edit: Added direct link to the generator source, added coin source trust verified link
Hey Folks,

We now have a working paper wallet generator. I've used the source from walletgenerator.net and modified their code
to work with magi. Now we have the ability to cold store our coins or the ability to give away an offline wallet with some magicoins on it to a friend.

The wallet has been tested by my and joelao95, we both have used the generator to get an public and privet key, sent a small amount of xmg to that address. Then after the coins where sent we imported the private key and then received our amount of xmg sent to that address.

Please be sure to test it before you use it, send a small amount of xmg to a generated address and the import the private key.

How to import the private key to your wallet

Open help and choose, in debug go to the tab Console and type importprivkey <Your newly generated private key>

The response should look like this if successful

In the image above I use a working key that has been generated with this tool just for this example.

If you get any other response for ex. Invalid private key (code -5), this would mean that the generated private key is invalid.

The paper wallet generator has been created to work completely disconnected from internet.

The recommended way to create a wallet that is going to be used as cold storage is to download the zip file, link to zip, to a clean system, disconnect from the internet, generate the an address and then print the wallet so you have both the public and private key.
Do not use print to PDF or take a screenshot and save it on the computer. Keep the printed paper wallet safe, if you loose your private key your coins will be lost and there is no way the get them back.

Url to Magi Paper Wallet Generator http://paperwallet.coinmagi.org/

Please note that nor I (ex33s) or joelao95 can guarantee that the generated keys are 100% correct. All keys generated during the test have been working perfectly. With this is mind, we can not leave any warranty or guarantee that you will get a working pair of keys from the wallet generator.

Many thanks to joelao95 for letting my use one of his subdomain for this wallet.
Also many thanks to guys developing http://walletgenerator.net/ wich is the base for our paper wallet generator.

Happy cold storing your coins! Smiley

Nice updates ex33s, you deserve applause, and I appreciate your efforts.  Smiley

Let me know if any one see 0 XMG blocks.

Apparently it was a proof of stake block...
This is what I don't get.
The PoW was supposed to last 50000 block but on the last 2 weeks, half of those blocks were from proof of stake and not from mining... This is kind of deceiving considering the high rate at which they are produced...

DJM, I never ever spoke of putting 50,000 PoW; what's been decide to be 50,000 already took into account the PoS blocks (I am not stupid on overlooking this). 50,000 thing was already announced and was in the code, no hidden facts..

----

p.s. u know this?  http://bitgame.co?ref=e3f3cb8

We are making an awesome project - social gaming platform with gamification elements (leaderboards, achievements, levels, badges), bitcoin integration and ability to win gift cards from top online shops (Amazon, Groupon, Nike, Apple, Steam, Google Play etc.).
We want to get some feedback from bitcoin enthusiasts and decided to make bonus campaign for early sign ups.
We are giving $50 game bonus for everyone who will sign up before November 20 and additional $25 bonus for every friend you'll invite to our service.
Here's the link -
http://bitgame.co?ref=e3f3cb8
Hope you'll like the idea!
Thanks.

Bittrex is easy if the comunity begin pressing!

We're working with Bittrex; I hate to advertise XMG with nonstanding arguments, and even hate to ask people to hold coins because we're heading toward Bittrex. That's just a bad idea, and no guarantee at all. But I'd ask all of you guys hold coins; XMG is very special, neither parties hold big amount waiting for dumping. XMG had a fair launch, and put lots of effort to make it fair (look back the posts & hardforks etc), and this is mostly where all of my time / efforts have been spent. We are just making a real CPU minable coin (and yes you'll argue me with the profits, I meant the minable), and everyone can mine it. I am speaking of this, because this really means a lot. What should all of us expect a coin which is not minable, even without the PoW phase, should do? Surely keep development. And people should figure that all of development stuffs can be applied to any coins, even the bitcoin. From this point of view, XMG has the real values at least non as the same as a coin with cloning, and of course the XMG team will try to add value by going forward developments.

We have laid out the coin swap plan, had most of coins just burned, and also got the Poloniex escrow service (by MobyDick_Poloniex).

For new miners/investors, don't let the top wallets sitting in the rich list stop you: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xmg/#!rich. They will be gone sooner or later.

Edit, they were gone:
Code:
93m4hAxmCcGXMfnjVPfNhWSjb69sDziGSY is the burn wallet address, basically unspendable; I will ask cryptoid to label or exclude it
9AJLsCuLryY2r7ihHAzjoU6PdBofECQKsN is MobyDick_Poloniex's wallet
A summary of what happened:

1) 720,000 XMG was sent to an unspendable address: 93m4hAxmCcGXMfnjVPfNhWSjb69sDziGSY (http://earlz.net/view/2014/10/22/0340/provably-spendable-altcoin-burn-addresses)

https://bchain.info/XMG/addr/93m4hAxmCcGXMfnjVPfNhWSjb69sDziGSY

Code:
      {
         "value": 720000,
         "n": 1,
         "scriptPubKey": {
            "asm": "OP_DUP OP_HASH160 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000 OP_EQUALVERIFY OP_CHECKSIG",
            "hex": "76a914000000000000000000000000000000000000000088ac",
            "reqSigs": 1,
            "type": "pubkeyhash",
            "addresses": [
               "93m4hAxmCcGXMfnjVPfNhWSjb69sDziGSY"
            ]
         }
      }

2) mobydick (Poloniex) personally holds 350,000 XMG and provides escrow service for us (his bitcointalk username: MobyDick_Poloniex). 3) Basically I don't hold coins any more; this was ensured we burned most of coins before Poloniex listed XMG. Coins I had will be sent out for swap (having many things to do so will carry on this; also for whoever worry about the swap, check out the MagiUpdates section for more info, this won't be a concern).

dev,your OP is doing nice,but a little advice:
we know you've written about the pow-1st phase and pow-2nd phase(which block,how many rewards) and when PoS-II initiated clearly on “magiupdates”,but lots of new comers may not read it carefully or may not easily notice it.
I think if you add the things (for example:pow-1st phase: block 1---50,000:maximum * XMG and minimum*XMG--finished, pow-2nd phase:block****:maximum * XMG and minimum*XMG,PoS-II block initiated at block 10080 )on the OP---"magispecs",that people will easily notice it.

Thanks, this is a nice advice. I will update some details including what you've mentioned.

We got reports before regarding the staking timer which is no way of accurate than that shown on the wallet, the stake comes probably at unexpected time, but I will check this out.
