2081  Other / Meta / Re: [Curiosity] What is the offence of Imgur? on: May 14, 2023, 01:49:05 PM
Lately I noticed my posted images via https://imgur.com are reading something else like "bitcointalk image proxy invalid image."
How did you experience this error when you don't have the Copper Membership and newbies can't post images because of the restrictions of that rank Huh

Is this your alt account buddy ??
2082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: May 14, 2023, 12:13:37 PM
The crypto markets always have something that will trend, and in this case NFTs are the talk of the day at the moment ,  but with time something else will come to replace these and people will move along with whats trending in the future because they will move were the money is.
2083  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: More Regulation Incoming! on: May 14, 2023, 12:04:48 PM
I don't like regulations, not only about privacy, but I fear that regulations will slow down the growth of the market.
Don't you think this regulation stance is 50/50, investors love to reduce their risk were possiblea and if regulation can minimise this risk I actually think the markets will actually grow.
Imagine trying to get a financing because of an illegal asset, this can never be approved and its a whitelisted one and this can happen with regulation.

I believe most people enter the market because they like the volatility of cryptocurrencies, but once there is regulation, I fear that will disappear along with our privacy. Look at the stock market or the forex market, they are regulated, and they become more stable because they are tightly managed.
But I think markets arent as volatileas they were back then were losing or gaining a thousand dollars on price was easy.

Regulations are inevitable, but we can only hope they won't be too strict with us.
Crypto will always have its way around regulation, and strictnessa should not worry anybody Smiley
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we see a huge rise in the price of Dogecoin ? on: May 13, 2023, 11:44:12 PM
At the moment I don't think so, and Dogecoin had the best run when Elon Musk kept hyping this coin in all sorts of ways to the extent of wanting to have his Tesla company accepting crypto payments using Doge for its clients to buy automobiles...

But today, doge has one of the toughest competitions from shiba inu which hasn't given doge an inch to recoup and  compete actively...and with its devs not as active as shiba I honestly see the king of meme coins being handled over to shiba inu  anytime soon!
2085  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Do you be in reincarnation? on: May 13, 2023, 10:23:26 PM
I was told after death people do travel to another place that they are not been known there to live before rapture. I want to know if there is any sure thing, because I don't believe in such.
All I know is that everyone has to believe in something!

With the issue of believing in reincarnation ,I think it centres around culture and for me we don't believe in it but  because I tend to have some kind of dejavu moments tends to give me clues of this phenomenon being real.
2086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 13, 2023, 09:51:03 PM
it looks like Mauricio Pochettino will be chelsea's new coach, well he's not a bad coach and i believe chelsea made a good choice
Agreed, Mauricio Pochettino is a good coach but to turn a bad team to a good team takes years...if  you remember Liverpool under klopp went under the same route of rebuilding the team and they held on with the same coach and team and their time came to win trophies when the bond among the team, manager and all was made...Same formula should apply to Chelsea, don't sack the manager's allow for team chemistry and the rewards will come later..let these guys not rush the process!

if he can make changes in the squad and fix all the mess then he can make chelsea manage to stay in top of the premier league, but that would imply that chelsea would sell a lot of players and hire other players and at this moment chelsea's players don't seem to me to be worth much money, with the exception of one or the other, when they sell players they will leave more with losses than profits
There is no other way, manager should write off some names he sees won't fit into his plans and start the overhaul from there...

2088  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 13, 2023, 08:53:08 PM
What do you think the right post quota per week?
Perfect quota doesn't  exist, find something that works for you, btw some campaigns are flexible enough such that they pay based on each post!

I read some campaign manager sentiment about this issue. Forcing their participants post above the minimum post requirements they set by themselves. If they want a higher post quota participants, They should increase the minimum post requirements or make the campaign rate per post without any consequences for posting low but quality post.
It's not a forcing matter when post quota comes naturally and btw every manager has their own style of running a campaign and its their way of running things by choosing
participants that can give extra ..and sadly their rules  won't bend to what you want.

I'm confused on the minimum post requirements rules. I saw many users being remove on the campaign by posting within the quota.

Without rules we are nothing but animals. -Socrates
If you are going to post on the forum to meet your quota requirements then clearly this shows that you are on the forum to get paid and nothing else! Try be part of the forum and post naturally!!!
2089  Economy / Reputation / Re: How secure are you when unknown user chats you up? on: May 13, 2023, 08:29:01 PM
If you are going to get into someone's inbox and the first thing you do is not talk about yourself by introducing yourself but ask questions about the other person...total red flag and with me I ignore for a few minutes to hours then later on if you persist with more questions you are definitely meeting the ban hammer and report this privacy intrusion to telegram...No two ways about it!

And why do these fraudsters think using a beautiful  lady as the profile picture gets the conversation going Huh And why do they always think the person they are try to chat with is always male???
2090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your most effective crypto trading strategies? on: May 13, 2023, 07:30:20 PM

1: What trading strategies have worked for you in the past?
Smart money concepts is what I use but of late I haven't  been trading crypto as am trading currencies which I find to be easy.

2: How do you manage risk when trading cryptocurrencies?
The only way to manage risk is trading the mechanical way, if price gets to a point where it says buy, you have to buy and nothing else and this way emotionals are put out of the way. let price action play out...if it's meant to win it will win!

3: What are some indicators or tools that you use to inform your trading decisions?
It's all about a clean chart nothing else...

4: How do you deal with market volatility and sudden price swings?
When price seems to volatile then no need to trade as I have learnt to sit out when such market conditions present themselves.

5: How do you set your buy and sell orders?
Usually I trade with pending limits as my strategy is all about trading reversals/reactions from my order block.

6: What advice do you have for new traders who are just starting out?

Let's have a productive discussion and share our knowledge and experience with each other; Thank You
Practice ,practice,  and practice some more, don't lie to yourself that you will get it right without it as its the only way to get a feel of real markets and express your emotions and perfect your art...without this its called gambling!
2091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is self-meriting possible? on: May 13, 2023, 06:13:24 PM
This is not facebook were people like their  own posts!

Of what  use is the merit system if you can give these to yourselves, imagine being a merit source and all you do is merit your own posts, then this system would lose its credibility. Besides the merit system was introduced as a system to fight the growing spam at the time and it did and also deterred spammers from ranking up to avoid future sig spans.

2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 13, 2023, 04:16:17 PM
Talk about a comeback after an injury ,great goal from Garnacho and this is good for the team to get 3rd spot cemented as the are 2points above close rivals Newcastle  who apparently just dropped points to Leads after missing their lead that would have seen them tied with United and from how this look like I expect the table to remain as it looks today.

Well, that was a beautiful attempt by Casemiro that could have definitely led to Man United having a second goal
Definitely one of the highlights of the game!
Casemiro "always" looks dangerous whenever he gets in front of goal and to some extent performs better than most attacking  players United has unfortunately...hope he continues to do this to put some goals yo his name.

2094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: May 13, 2023, 07:14:26 AM
Generally many people around the world today have made à living through trading , and it being in all sorts of forms..for others they have actually made gòod money through peer to peer trading using bitcoin which is the simplest forms of trading ,and for others that don't want to interact with people could trade it by analysing charts and choosing to long or short the market and its paying people's  bills... Overall when it comes to trading,  their is something for everyone.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 12, 2023, 11:35:20 PM
Hi we are changing the reward system and we would like to have some feedback before launch the new system

What kind of rewards/bonuses do you like ?
For sportsbooks nothing beats the freebet offers, then with casino's i would prefer a free balance load with a low rollover requirement as opposed to freespins without any rollovers...

Welcome bonuses , cashback , freespins etc ?
Both welcome bonuses and freespins would be a good idea and if possible  have reload bonus for every Friday deposit made on your platform or anything in these lines..
or what kind of rewards would you like to see in an online casino ?

Thanks
Casino rewards are always centred around free spins, but if these are rewarded it would be nice to see them rewarded on games that have a fair chance of winning...
2096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 12, 2023, 10:07:23 PM
The gambling industry was valued at USD 63.53 billion a year ago, now imagine today with the digital age picking  pace at a fast face, and not forgetting the corona virus that happened  that has forced some people to just avoid these crowded places and try to play from their comfort zones and gamble away...

I guess gambling isn't stopping or reducing any time soon, hope the industry isn't producing addicts at a fast pace such that these casinos nolonger have the self exclusion policies running because  the money coming in is good for them  Cry

2098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of crypto influencers. on: May 12, 2023, 04:26:02 PM
I made a post about crypto influencers not that long ago talking about how people still trust them despite all the cringe and stupid stuff they post.
In the the last post, after reading your comments, I came to conclusion that most of the people who follow crypto influencers are:
1) Normies (or lazy people who don't want to do research and want to follow trend)
2) Bots
3) Bitcoin uneducated people

I would say most of these influencers have fake followers that just bump the numbers up, others could be the curious ones that want to hear whats going on in the world of crypto...but then again I thought these so called crypto influencers died a long time ago when ICOs become  obsolete..??

I think in the next few years, influencers can lose their "influence" over uneducated people because they're gonna be fewer and fewer of these people on the internet.
In the world of marketing they say good or bad publicity is better than no publicity at all, so I guess influencers still have a role to play in crypto education department afaik.

And overall, bitcoin education will decrease people's need for influencers simply because they will already have all the knowledge needed and all these Twitter posts about "PUMP IS COMING" will sound pretty stupid.
So what do you think?
Will we finally see the fall of influencers or there still will be enough stupid people to follow their advice?
Agreed, for now they have their shine to prey on the lazy/illiterate but with more education  and the alike there will be nothing  to feed on and they will have to move on..
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 11, 2023, 09:54:48 PM
Juventus are a mess in general in the match now. The first half was completely dominated by Sevilla. They weren't only great at attacking. They did a superb work in defense as well.
Without taking away what work Sevilla put in ,I think some of these teams don't give it all when it comes to Europa games because its seen as an inferior competition especially  when its one of these so called big teams playing ....

All in all, we must also not forget that when it comes to Europa  games, Sevilla  are pretty much the most decorated team and you better bring your A game when you face them, and what we witnessed today was total shambles and they Italians deserved to lose!
2100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Effects of war on bitcoin on: May 11, 2023, 09:40:42 PM
This one is easy!

We all know that in times of conflict, or should  I say war comes,  you expect all financial systems and banks to go down leaving people to go the old skool way of barter system were someone with medicines can trade for food or anything they like...and bitcoin being such a currency without boarders having to own it can mean going to any neighboring  county without having to worry about cash and the alike, which increases  your chances of survivor...

But then again,  bitcoin being an asset that relies on internet  infrastructure I think it will be difficult to use as the other conflicting team could target communication structures to cutoff any kind of coordination which makes btc useless to some extent...
