You probably should set an alarm and add the title of the thread for the reminder, it's very tough to keep up with all these pools without needing a reminder for a couple of them
I don't trust alarms especially with phones of today once it's facing down phone goes straight into silent mode and you miss your submissions....

But I would suggest importing these games into your Google calendar as you get alerts a day before and on the actual day, you are welcome.

Kickoff of match day 2 is any minute from now, and for us playing in the bottom half of the competition means we can play around with the high odds trying to catch up with the 22 points as we have nothing to lose Roll Eyes

Looking for a nice draw against one of these hot favorites, any insights will be highly appreciated lol

1084  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we truly need cbdc when bitcoin already exist? on: October 03, 2023, 07:06:00 AM
CBDC (central bank digital currency) are digital representation of a country's official currency managed and regulated by a central bank.
Are they trying to airdrop some free money on the citizens to stimulate demand, and where is the demand for the CBDC going to come from because these can't compete with our already existing Bitcoin and Altcoins..oops didn't mean to say that !!!

Btw, If it's control they want, why bother introducing a CBDC (central bank digital currency) when they can continue with the fiat system that we already know Huh

Do we really need cbdc now?
The CBDC model clearly looks to be doing the exact opposite of what made Bitcoin popular....
if Bitcoin's current users are not fans of censorship, then how will CBDC succeed with their proposed control  model that the central bank wants over our finances  Huh this model of cryptocurrencies is a nightmare and OG cryptonians won't jump on board mark my words!!!
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: Is academic pursues enough to get incomes? on: October 03, 2023, 04:16:07 AM
I really want know if getting more degrees can make life financially better because I come from a country where their are no job and I have seen people that the only thing they can do in life is to read books, getting more degrees attaining all these degrees yet no still go job for them with good pay. Do think people who read in a region with slim job opportunities are doing the right thing?
The problem could be that the government isn't employing the right people especially that they are suppose to be the biggest employers of a country..

Secondly, if the government isn't proactive in the employment exercise, then the private sector is employing its people using nepotism and not taking into account one's qualifications..but don't give up as skilled labor is what it takes to help in the development of a country and sooner or later the graduates will be called up to fill the void.

Most people who go for more degrees believe they can get better job at the end of the day. People that only go for more degrees in a stare with high unemployment rate are they doing right thing by putting all their focus on academic because this is the only thing they can do best.
And this is were it all goes wrong, without any experience whatsoever, people want to be paid the most money which isn't right...a life hack to this is to forget about the degree to tone down the pride lol, get into the labor force and allow yourself to get the needed experience and see your skillset become the most sort after & money follow you... Slow but steady wins the race.
1086  Economy / Economics / Re: Honda Now Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum As Payment Methods on: October 02, 2023, 08:20:10 PM
Saw this on X (twitter) and was like wow, what is Elon Musk waiting for? There are  people like me waiting for Tesla cars to start selling in bitcoin before we can give an interest in purchasing it. Lol. Grin

If memory serves me right, Tesla's dropping of bitcoin happened at a time when he was implicating bitcoin mining and its huge carbon footprint which actually caused prices to crash because of his rants that led to temporarily destabilizing some miner operations & I wouldn't be surprised if he had external pressure from the government to drop it...

But now that another car manufacturer has got into this spotlight am certain he would want to steal the headline like he usually does, though he has unfinished business with miners that have gone green and he doesn't want to swallow his words with the 50%+ of miners using cleaner energy..

As the Heading implies. Honda the giant of Japanese automobile now accept bitcoin and ethereum for payment through a third party partnership deal with a blockchain payment system called FCF Pay.
However we interpret this, this is bullish news, and our markets need a break from all the negative news of hacks that have been happening of late that has slowed down the growth of our markets...the revolution must continue.

1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: Michael Saylor predicts Bitcoin can go to $5 million? on: October 02, 2023, 07:45:25 PM
5 million dollars and we are no where near 100k but already dreaming of the millions, besides Bitcoin price doesn't happen without external money being pumped into it...

So million dollar question is where is this money coming from??

And does Saylor have an agenda why his predicting such high prices?? Is this meant to lure new crypto investors by false advertising  Roll Eyes if it is it will hurt our markets...

1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 rematch on: October 02, 2023, 04:33:24 PM
Any other fighter yes the fight can happen for the right cash prize but for a determined Pacquaio hell  No!!!
I know how bad we all would love to see a rematch but against Pacquaio , his thinking twice and this would be team money teams worst wish  especially that Mayweather has that unbeaten run going and wouldn't want to lose it when his career is closely coming to an end and definitely wants to retire a champion!!!

I want this fight to happen and hope no other elements will stop this or Mayweather will agree to this deal so that we can see if Pacquaio could get a revenge or Mayweather can seal the long time discussion about who is the best boxer between him and Pacquaio.
Mayweather is just too elusive, he will probably fake an injury to avoid this fight lol

1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin Hacks a double edged sword on: October 02, 2023, 01:58:11 PM
As much as the crypto ecosystem has experienced several hacks over the years which has seen millions of Bitcoins lost to this,  there is actually some good that comes from them besides losing of coins, for example
  • they help to iron out flawed code from wallets etc
  • keep developers on their toes to implement best security measures
  • hacks expose industries that don't employ the right guy for the job as these self taught  nerds think they are fit for the job
  • hacks expose lack of specialisation
  • hacks expose the lack of seperation of power which is why multisig wallets have the go to wallets today

With hacks exposing some of the greed that comes from not employing the right guy for the job, or CEO's giving themselves so much power such as full access to crypto wallets is the  among the reasons millions of Bitcoins & alts have been lost, so is going back to the basics of running a company suppose to be applied to Bitcoin/crypto companies??

Share your opinions what do you guys think for Bitcoin/crypto run companies and the security landscape..
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be accepted as a dominant currency in the future? on: October 02, 2023, 01:06:30 PM
It is captivating for us all to witness the evolution of a DDC (decentralized digital currency) that has the ability and potential to change the financial world forever but there is a question that needs to be tabled properly for the purpose of awareness and well preparedness for the future and that is "is it possible for BTC to be accepted and adopted as a dominant currency in the nearest future".
Dominant currency means oppressing one other currency and because this gets political to some extent, I don't think we have anybody brave enough to adopt BTC to the high table...unless an economy is collapsing and the government is looking for the next big thing which can come in form of cryptocurrencies (BTC) to help save the economy and continue with trade that can stimulate productivity.

That aside several countries are still trying to steer how to regulate the cryptocurrencies and these actions can crucially impact the value/utility of BTC, well this is what i think.🤷‍♀️
What is your opinion on this topic?
Let's just say cryptocurrencies are still young and new to most users out there...
for now people are still trying to get their heads around and once an understanding is there regulation and general adoption will easily follow  as users learn of the benefits.
1093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 6 bull run strategies on: October 02, 2023, 10:05:38 AM
_ Even though am a big fan of Bitcoin, it wouldn't make you filthy rich, unless you have a large capital, the real money is in the Alt where the high risk are, just pick the right one.
Crypto investment have drastically changed over the years, and fortunately the first investors that believed in BTC were rewarded handsomely, today it's different ball game as it requires us to use money to make money and the wait is long as we use BTC more of a currency than a store of value.

_ Control your risk; people mostly waste their money gambling on trades that gives only 1:1 reward ratio without remember  every $1 you waste could be $100 during the bull run or a year time.
If making money in crypto was this easy, everyone would have gone all in on it and  will create a problem of a Ponzi scheme as the last person to take money out will be running at a lose as everyone would have withdrawn their over inflated bags.

_ Take profit: if you don't take profit how can you be profitable? Don't be greedy, just take profit.
Not sure if this is a bull run strategy but any small profits taken out do add up over time and hodlers need to do this more often.
1094  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 02, 2023, 09:32:04 AM
There are many people around us, where their income is not enough to manage a family how do you manage your family and economy? There are many people who manage their family very well even though their income is very low in their personal life, how do you manage it?
It starts by knowing how much the family uses in a month that's from utility bills(water, electricity, phone & data),  food, your transport or fuel Bills and if kids are in the picture school fees need to be worked into the calculations then draw up your budget to know how to use available resources.

If one finds themselves in a budget deficit then a side hustle or second job needs to be considered  as these bills won't pay themselves...

This condition is very common and is not something new. Well, I think this is where we need to activate coordination and communication with our wives.
Mature advice right here !!!

Communication is the key to solving these problems, if both husband and wife need to get a job, then let it be so until husband finds a well paying job to get wife off work duty.
1095  Other / Off-topic / Re: Use note-taking apps on mobile if you don't want to lose your contents on: October 02, 2023, 07:40:21 AM
I have experienced this on several occasions and usually this happens when device is running on low ram or simply some browser won't keep your draft work which is why before hitting the post button I always go for the preview option to avoid losing what I wrote and can access my draft work on any of my devices at a later time.

Use those note-taking applications to store your post content but don't use them to store your password, wallet seed, etc.
Online word counters do a great job too and the best part about them is that this draft information is kept for awhile online provided you don't clear cache or format your device, otherwise thanks for the info Smiley
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 02, 2023, 05:13:36 AM
I don't really think they should put much emphasis on a striker, and I don't think they will. They don't have a problem with that at the moment, they bought Bellingham and they haven't missed a beat, he's definitely their best transfer this season, not only does he have great stats but he's a very good player overall, I think he's a great investment
Great investment yes, but if a team finds itself relying on its midfielders for goals and not its strikers then there is a void that needs filling and unfortunately Bazema left that.
Btw what happens when Madrid wants to rest Bellingham because of playing too many games, then we are saying Madrid will automatically drop points which shouldn't be the case!

I started to think that Kroos should stay at Real Madrid for 1-2 more seasons at least. He is still a useful player for the team now. Besides he isn't as old as Modric at the moment. Modric is 38 years old now so it would be the right decision to part ways with him at the end of the season. But Kroos should play a little longer.
Kroos is ~33 years old for crying out loud, are we saying these guys should now all be chasing 40 years just because some greats did it , No!
If this is allowed to happen then when do the young stars from Academy Football get a chance to play?? Honestly, with the few years to his name, he better be thinking of a handsome retirement package that can come from Saudi Arabia for starters...

1097  Other / Meta / Re: How to check post bursting through ninjastic space on: October 01, 2023, 09:36:12 PM
I guess, post bursting implies not only a short period of time between posts, but also a short length of the post itself.
Post bursting has always meant posting successively without a cool off/ timeout especially if it is 3 or more most all down under 5-10 minutes especially if it's meant to reach weekly quota of sig requirement & also falls out of your usual posting style!
Btw, anything to do with the length of a post usually implies quality subject to a campaign manager's interpretation especially if it's in line with sigs.

I'm waiting for the reply of icopress. I'm curious as to how he uses ninjastic space to check for burst posting.
Eagerly waiting for this one too, but probably CM looks for a spike in the last 7 days of the graph and analyses these posts for any possible burst posting Roll Eyes

1098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let fear to lose be motivation to learn on: October 01, 2023, 08:39:53 PM
Since I know cryptocurrency my biggest fear is to lost all my capital or large amounts in trading or investment, because of the fear in me I don't do things that I'm not sure of or things I don't know.
Afaik Fear of the unknown is a very normal thing for any human being, so worry not buddy Smiley...

But when you refer to losing all capital because of trading, then you are probably pro trading with leverage which isn't advisable if one hasn't shapened their strategy to be on the profitable side of this journey... so to minimise such risk best to buy and hodl and forget about losing your capital to small price dips.

If beginners allows their fear to motivate them to learn first their won't be drastic lose in trading.

Tbh, the best way to find motivation is to find a working strategy that you have tried and tested and are happy with the results, otherwise going in blindly is guaranteeing oneself of failure....good thing fear pushes many of us to do the uncomfortable stuff and this includes learning new skills Smiley
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ban from a Casino for Nothing Other Than Winning Too Much Money on: October 01, 2023, 02:51:01 PM
Let's take a moment to think about this and tell me if I am correct. All of the people whom I have observed getting banned from gambling at casinos by the casino management, aside from misconduct and other offenses, are individuals who keep winning significant amounts of money.
I kind of agree with this!!
And with several cases that have found themselves in the reputation thread against  casinos/sportsbooks, showing beyond reasonable doubt that winning players always get banned or funds frozen due to the huge wins... sends out a message of winners aren't welcome and it's no coincidence!!
They might not say it like I did, but they hit players with all these flimsy excuses just to try and reduce payouts by offering to give back their deposits and forget about the other coins in trying to reduce their payouts(expenses).

It also reminds me of the story of the Pelayos brothers, who discovered some mathematical imperfections in the physical roulette wheels in casinos, whereby some numbers tended to come up more in the long run, and they bet on it, winning a lot of money. As soon as the casinos realised this, they also banned them, but the brothers took the case to court and won. I can't find a good summary of the story in English but here is something:

The fabulous story of the Pelayos (La fabulosa historia de los Pelayo)
Thought this was written in Spanish and didn't bother opening the link, but this kind of proves that winners are indeed not welcome!!
1100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and gambling which one has done you more harm on: October 01, 2023, 11:49:52 AM
I don't see any connection between gambling and Bitcoin here especially because they serve different purposes...for example you can use Bitcoin to play on your favourite gambling platform by using BTC as your currency and not the other way round.

As far as am concerned this comparison is as good as comparing a vehicle and fuel, one of them can be used by the other and not vice versa which makes this a bad comparison.

For some reason I feel this was a trading vs gambling comparison not until the last second you changed the wording  Roll Eyes
