2101  Economy / Services / Re: funding liqpay with PP debit card? on: February 28, 2013, 10:50:15 PM
God I wish that was my experience. I linked my card on the 14 sent a 51 dollar payment then a 200 dollar payment on the 15. It took 2 days to complete. Once it did liqpay said they were waiting for a response to an email they sent to my bank before the funds would post 2 days later they refunded both payments and said that they never got a response. I found that the sent to bancorp, which is not my bank. I use PNC. I was told by PP that I wouldnt be able to fund it with their card.
I sent a request for address verification, I guess I will try again after I get it verified.

Ass kisser. I said I dont care what some hero member says. I am not here to suck off the senor members. I am here to find out the fucking truth. So like I said keep your dumb ass comments to yourself unless you can prove this wrong with facts.
2105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Can PP tell if you were hacked? on: February 28, 2013, 10:03:20 PM
The question is can paypal tell if you were hacked or not? They say they can.

I am not a tech guy. I know very little about hacking.

I have an on going debate about this with death and taxes. I have been told several times by Paypal that they can tell if your computer was hacked and a unauthorized transaction was sent or not. I asked if they could tell even if a proxy was used they say yes.
The reason that this is important to me is that if you send a payment as a gift from your home IP address it is not protected and can not be reversed. What makes you think that you might say?
Well I am glad you ask. The reason that I say that is I have tried to do it and could not. I had a guy rob me on 10 coins. I didn't think it would be a big deal. I will just charge back i say... fuck no i wont, no matter what I said they wouldn't refund.

So I say you can't charge back gifts sent from you normal IP address and that PP can tell if you were hacked or not and death and taxes says I am a dumb ass.
I said let bust this myth, he says he can no problem but isn't willing to risk his account standing  Roll Eyes I even offered a BTC if he could do it.

So what are the facts? can gifts be easily reversed? or is death and taxes the dumb ass?

John the dog made a good point about it saying that if it was funded by a CC you could just charge back with them, but my response to that is that you can set it up to only take payments from PP that are not funded with CC.

---The point-- if you know someone sent from home (normal IP) as a gift that is not funded by CC IT CAN NOT BE REVERSED.

I am not interested in your bullshit theories, I dont care what some hero member says, If you can prove this is wrong with facts I would love to hear it. Other wise keep the smart ass comments to yourself.

2106  Economy / Services / funding liqpay with PP debit card? on: February 28, 2013, 08:50:06 PM
Has anyone done this successfully? I sent two payments they posted as pending then they were refunded. After about 3 hours and 200 messages they told me that my bank didnt reply to their request for verification. After another 100 or so messages I got them to tell me where they sent the request. It was to info@bancorp.com. I dont have an account with them so I am not surprised they didn't respond. I was going to use my regular debit card but it is visa and they wont take it. Any advice?
2107  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Trade Fortress on: February 28, 2013, 05:07:14 PM
@ moneypaktrader My dad is a computer engineer and has owned his own software company for 20 years (Norlinx out of RTP) if you would like I can have him look over the code this weekend when I go to visit, he would defiantly be able to say if it was done correctly and if it was done by a competent programmer or not. If you would like me to have him take a look just let me know.

2112  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: {WTB} LTC for PPUSD on: February 28, 2013, 05:34:24 AM
besides if you wanted to deal with me tldr has already checked me out you know my address. bitcoin otc had blocked my IP so you know they know what it is. You could look and see if the payment came from the same IP that is blocked?

More than one way to skin a cat, if it was worth it to you like it is to me you find ways to take PP safely.

"A stolen CC negates all 'anti chargeback' points - the CC company WILL claw back every cent from PayPal, and thus ripping the seller off in the process."

You can set it up to only take payments that are not funded with CC on PP too.
2113  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: {WTB} LTC for PPUSD on: February 28, 2013, 05:25:21 AM
I know that no one believes this, but i can not charge back. I send as a gift from my home IP. That transaction is not reversible!

Nonsense.  Gift can and have been reversed trivially easy.  Claiming otherwise makes you less not more trustworthy.  Either you are horribly uninformed or you are willing to lie to potential customers to secure a deal.  Either way a warning sign.

How are we going to know if the transaction was sent using your home IP?
I am not saying that you're going to reverse any transactions at all, indeed, a quite huge part of the community still uses paypal to trade Bitcoin. However, please do not give a false impression to other users that PayPal is safe. It is trivial to reverse a transaction even if Paypal refuses to do so - a call to the CC company will work wonders too. A stolen CC negates all 'anti chargeback' points - the CC company WILL claw back every cent from PayPal, and thus ripping the seller off in the process.

Some past threads on this issue: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83679.0

I stand by D&T in this argument.

No I understand John PP can be very sketch, but not mine is the point.

How are we going to know if the transaction was sent using your home IP?

When I sell coin through ebay I can just call ebay and they will tell me, not sure if they will do that for anyone but they do it for me.
Sales outside of ebay I dont know how you could find out, you guys are smarter than me when it comes to the tech stuff, maybe you could tell me.
The way that I check is sell to people on FB that gives me there location sometimes their exact location if they have linked their phone, then I have them send me an email then i run the IP address through and analyzer. Sometime it can get really close in and tell me what street and everything sometime is only gives a region

That is why I said that I know no one believes this but I can not charge back.

2114  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: {WTB} LTC for PPUSD on: February 28, 2013, 05:15:51 AM
Oh I see you can do it but it isnt worth your time. Roll Eyes

Okay well this is what I know. I cant not charge back when I send period.

2115  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: {WTB} LTC for PPUSD on: February 28, 2013, 05:02:24 AM
You think i didnt say that I didnt make the transaction? They dont care. if it came from your house it doesnt matter who sends it. They can tell if your computer was hacked or not. If you are so sure big boy than show me. Like you said I must not be the sharpest tool in the shed, so since I am so simple I am going to need to be shown.
2116  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: {WTB} LTC for PPUSD on: February 28, 2013, 04:50:44 AM
We can always bust this myth if you like death and taxes. Send me a gift from your home and then try and get it refunded. If you do and can tell me how you did it i will give you 1 BTC. Ask velacreations he was scammed the other day, see if he was able to get refunded. If you send a gift from your home it is not protected and will not be refunded.
2117  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: {WTB} LTC for PPUSD on: February 28, 2013, 04:42:10 AM
I didnt say that it couldnt be charged back I said I cant charge it back. I gave PP 6k in fees last year and had a guy named steve harding, user name bogbrush fuck me for 10 coins. I sent as a gift and no matter what I said or did they wouldn't refund me. So you might be right that it can be reversed, but I CAN NOT REVERSE IT!!
2118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the companies accepting bitcoin continue to pour in? on: February 28, 2013, 04:38:56 AM
P.S.- If you're "attempting" to run a BTC business, you probably shouldn't post things like "I give up. This shit has not been worth it. I have opened so many fing account and transferred so many different funds all over the internet. I give up f!@# it. I barely make any money selling these things and it has become to much of a pain in the ass to get so I am not going to do it any more. This market is bullshit. If they get easier to get in the future I will may start back up, but as for now I quit. F!@# BITCOIN!." on your facebook page.

Few things about sublime - he has no business, and no money, he wants to get rich quick (check out LTC subforums for more of his persona), he's pissed that BTC price does not go the way he wants. Seen lots of people like that around here. He'll turn into a solid BTC proponent if bitcoin falls to single digits and he'll have money and most importantly guts to buy at least 100. Which is a rare occasion, but I've seen it happen. So it's easier to ignore him alltogether.

First ignore me please none of you dicks have coins to sell any ways. Second I do have 2 business and do have money. I have 2 cars 1 truck 2 boats one yacht, own my own fully stocked shop, have about 60k in tools and equipment, and about 20k in inventory right now, made about 60k last year working 20 hr a week or less, have a sexy wife and handsome son another child on the way. My life is great! Third I am not trying to get rich quick. I am not in digital currencies to get rich. I am in it for social change. I sell the coins! i could make a lot more money holding, but I want to spread the idea not hoard it like a fucking troll. so if you dont like me go fuck yourself. I like me and that is what matters.

Me offer always stands.  Smiley

I am going to Raleigh NC this weekend and am going to get my dad to use his data center to start mining LTC, I have access to netapp's test bed in the RTP too maybe I can get those guys going too. I have a couple miners who sell to me now and hoping to get more, but if you guys wont sell them to me I will have to use btc-e or other methods.
