Shit, dont hold 40k in your paypal...how hard is that? I use paypal like I use my blockchain wallet it is not for savings!!

They let you send money for free! I personally love paypal. I think that shit is kool.

1183  Other / Archival / Re: SIGN PETITION FOR PAYPAL TO ACCEPT BITCOIN on: September 09, 2013, 02:01:22 PM
The whole idea of Bitcoin is to get rid of crap like paypal and banks in the first place Smiley

Exactly what is the added benefit of paypal supporting Bitcoin? If I pay with Bitcoin (and I do so when&wherever possible), it's because I prefer to AVOID paypal Smiley

The benefit would be the ease of buying and selling.

Bitcoin cant kill banks and paypal until it is large enough and widely held. There has to be a bridge between the old banking system and the new.
1184  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Is sending money by IBAN reversible? on: September 09, 2013, 02:18:18 AM
Yes, if the payment is fraudulent and the bank requests the payment back or the person sending convinces their bank that their account was hacked to try gain free Bitcoin.

My advice is to sell with cash deposit, people put actual cash in your account so it's safe.
But how do I know that the person made a cash deposit or just transferred the money?

I was thinking about using paypal for small trades. Even is small trades I don't want to lose my bitcoins and get chargedback. Anyone who got has experience with being charged back after bitcoin sale please tell me what the buyer would complain about to get the his money back? It cant be that hard to prove that you send the bitcoins to him, right? Anyway I just want to be ready and know what I am facing just in case someone does demand a chargeback.

I only buy and sell for paypal, and have had lots of experience with charge backs. It is easy to prove the transaction unfortunately none of the proof available is accepted by paypal, they only want to see shipping info.

1188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [WTS] 50+ LTC for Moneybookers on: September 08, 2013, 11:31:00 PM
Well how will I say this.

I was on my skrill account waiting for the money to arrive. I got message from him that he sent the money. I try to refresh my skrill to see if the money is really there? The page wont load I get an error. Odd right? I try like 5 times. Still not working. I try to connect to skrill from my other laptop, same error. All other pages are working.

Just to see  if it makes a difference I try to connect to skrill with tor. And yes you guessed it, it magically works. I didn't log in because I think that skrill might have a problem if people use tor to log in.

Also he send me a  link. I didn't check it because I quit clicking on random links:

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/skrill.com

Is this suspicious or am I just paranoid?

You are really paranoid. Jesus man lay off the the blow.   Down for me or everyone is legit.  All he was trying to do was to show it was only you or it is down for everyone.

1191  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do i have to download all blocks to start using my bitcoin on: September 07, 2013, 10:29:09 PM
It will show up as pending but you wont be able to send it until you are in sync. With a block chain wallet you dont have to download the block chain and it will post in a couple min if not instantly.

I think the only lite coin wallet is QT but I am not sure
1192  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Josh Zerlan scam: BFLS.RIG on: September 07, 2013, 10:26:00 PM
He is tagged as a scammer, I know it is not big read x's but works fine for me. Just needs to be next to your name at all times not just under the trading section.

If you are gonna spend them after you get them just use a blockchain.info wallet if you are gonna hoard them use a secure QT wallet or a paper wallet
1194  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer Facebook page list on: September 07, 2013, 04:42:52 PM
ahahahahaha this is so embarassing for them. paste this thread on their wall for everyone to see what they did.

That is one of the first things I do when people scam. It is really stupid. If anyone searches their name it is on the front page of google and will be online forever. their grand kids will be able to see that they were pieces of shit.

Guys I know I am gonna have loss. I expect a certain amount of it. If I am posting here it is to keep you from getting scammed.

If we weed theses guys out with their real world identity we will have a community of trusted traders with good reputations.

So I dont need be careful's or I told you so. Theft is part of business. I didn't get scammed because I wasnt careful.
