2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO on: August 21, 2017, 05:36:44 PM
There are so many scams, why do people are keeping investing in the ICOs?  Angry
Does this way of raising money to have a future for the startups?

We live in the world where people invest in Bitcoin doubler and you are arguing about ICO!!
Also you shouldn't generalize all ICO as scam prone based on some cases. In some cases, ICO is backed by extraordinary idea. As a result, such projects raise millions. And as we talking about investors, they make 10-25x on invested amount just in 30-40 days.
2102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's The Minimum Investment? on: August 21, 2017, 04:43:17 PM
There is no minimum investment, you can invest one dollar a month if you want, and you can "invest" only your time and effort by doing tasks for bitcoin or other altcoins.

also there are giveaways happening all the time.

I contradict to your answer. You can't say minimum is any amount. Being a serious trader if you invest $1 do you think you could make any big? Choosing adequate amount is essential step in trading process. I suggest strata-division of investment. Before starting investment, investor must wisely divide investment into 4 fragments. Then invest first 2 parts of 25% each, one in risky coins and other in big coins. Then on the basis of result of first 2 parts, further invest rest two parts.
2103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Crash?? on: August 21, 2017, 04:10:36 PM
I read in several Newspaper that experts think the Bitcoin is gonna crash soon. What do you think? Huh

Newspaper and experts just need attention, you are fulfilling their wish.
No one in the world could anticipate Bitcoin rise or decline especially in the season when there isn't any big event coming which could have big impact on BTC prices.
When we say decentralized, do include such rumor or FUD spreaders too. They are also integral part of Bitcoin's decentralization feature i.e. decentralization in freedom of speech. Cheesy
Simply ignore such rumors and keep believing in Bitcoin.

2105  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Domination: The year of Bitcoin total dominance? on: August 21, 2017, 03:51:26 PM
Bitcoin is digital currency that is fully decentralized, fast, secure with lower transaction fees.
In fact, bitcoin is the perfect currency of our time. Bitcoin provides the perfect system of cashless economy (future economy).

So which year do you think of bitcoin total dominance and why?

Decentralized - You really think when majority of us use exchanges to buy/sell Bitcoin, decentralization exist anywhere. Most of the exchanges work on centralized model and you have to mold you prices and supply according to their requirement.

Fast - I have used fees of 0.0004 BTC recently and my transaction is pending from last 6 hours, still waiting. Bitcoin is no longer cheap and fast.

Secure - In the era when most people don't understand how to use Bitcoin and simply rely on exchange or web wallet, I don't believe Bitcoin is secure as it is visioned through private keys.

So in my views, Bitcoin is no where near perfect currency and needs much amendments before coming main stream.
2106  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Hard Fork Part 2 on: August 21, 2017, 03:20:24 PM
Hey guys, any member who could explain what will be happening when Bitcoin will be  having a hard fork for the second time around?
Will it create a panic selling or a panic buying? haha Huh Grin Grin

Thank you for anyone who will answer this.

If you ask me, I am 90% sure that another anticipated fork (Segwit2x fork) won't be happening. The major reason is that any such fork is not needed currently in Bitcoin ecosystem.
But even if such fork happens, it won't gonna create any panic. Now reason to this claim is that Segwit fork is happening in good faith unlike BCH fork which was to cater ego of some specific group. So this fork will get good support from community since it will be necessity for eradicating high fees scenario. Hence people will hold to their BTC and resultant would be that Bitcoin prices won't go in panic.

2109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I NEVER discard private keys even after spent? on: August 20, 2017, 05:20:26 PM
Every single chain split require you to have bitcoin when the chain split happen, you can't have BCH or other coins from chain split result if you already send it to different address which isn't yours. Also, i think there's no problem to discard private key as long as you make sure no one will send bitcoin to you with that address Roll Eyes

Appeciate for the answer because I also wondered this topic since I did the same thing 4 months ago, I gave my paper wallet to another person and he spent it instantly. Does that mean, the guy spent my wallet, has the access to the bitcoin cash?

Actually your case is 100% similar to what OP asked. You should not confuse yourself with paper wallet. It is nothing but a paper containing btc address and its pvt keys. So when you gave paper wallet to that person, you actually gave btc address containing BTC. Now when he spent those BTC, he actually transferred BTC from address on paper wallet to some external wallet address, say X.
Now coming to BCH. The cut-off date for BCH was Aug 1. If those BTC remained on X address on Aug 1, then the owner of that address (person having pvt keys or password in case of web wallet) will have equivalent BCH.  But if BTC moved further from X to say Y and so on before Aug 1, BCH will be paid to one having BTC on Aug 1.
2110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will bitcoincash / BCC price be equal to bitcoin / BTC price? on: August 20, 2017, 04:35:14 PM
Bitcoin is a Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash is bitcoin cash, so i dont think bitcoin cash price will be equal to BTC but BCC will be valuable..
https://pool.viabtc.com
Every coin has rising and declining period. But I am pretty sure, BCH does not gonna have good future. You said it will be valuable even though not in competition to BTC but current BCH heat is just temporary one. It gonna cold up soon.
This is second attempt from creators and supporters to bring BCH in lime light but what really happens here is that those investors got chance to dump it off who bought it in first attempt at $1000.
As a result, get ready to welcome it back to $200 or less!

2112  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you tech me please, What is ICO? on: August 17, 2017, 04:37:33 PM
Hello, everyone. I have some knowledge about ICO. But I want to know everything about ICO. Will you please teach me What is ICO? I don't want to know the Full meaning of ICO. I want to know details of ICO.

Advanced Thanks a lot, all of you who will comment here Cool
Quiet odd for a Senior Member to ask about on what is ICO but well I would answer you.. ICO (Initial Coin Offering) is one of the ways of the devs on scamming people  Grin This sounds funny but this is the reality because having ICO would really make them money and some of them end up on scamming people. This ICO works as a crowdfunding on a certain project.

That is really sad of you for diluting the idea like ICO in the pool of scam! For me ICO is one of the best form of crowdfunding. No doubt company is always the one that makes most profit from ICO but still investors can get huge returns if they choose right project.
Unlike IPOs where investors get stake in company's capital, ICOs enable investors with cryptocurrency which become separate entity from company once ICO ends and gets its value from market demand/supply. However, company indirectly affects the coin value even after ICO and if company's project integrates coin, it may raise future value as well as demand of coin.

2116  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone who bought coin under $18,000 BTC, will look like a genius soon on: August 15, 2017, 06:04:30 PM
Wait till this really starts to go up we will all look like genius.

This thread is mere speculative one hence belongs to 'Speculation' section.
We all are well-aware of Bitcoin potential. It is still in its early adoption phase and hardly known to less than 1% population of the world. Since its prices are directly proportional to its demand, we can expect even six-digits BTC price in future. We can refer increase in BTC prices as 'premium' so this 'premium' gonna swell many-times in future due to its demand where real value (utility) may remain stagnant.
2117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that in near future BTC would be connected with mobile number? on: August 15, 2017, 05:57:22 PM
Hi guys and girls.
What do you think will they ever make BTC connected with our mobile numbers (so we could pay with it)?  Cool

There are wallets which provide something similar. You can connect your mobile number with wallet and send btc instantly to your contacts using internal wallet transfer. However, this feature is in-built and not applicable to phone numbers which are not registered with that wallet.
I don't think there will be any add-on to BTC in future which will allow you to transfer funds from mobile-to-mobile universally without actually using single service.

They maybe connect our BTC address to our mobile number so we can use the mobile number to transfer BTC. I think without BTC address we can not send or receive any BTC with a just mobile number. If this facility is there means I am sure your BTC is connected to your number. Until today I did not find a site like this, can you please share that site names?

It doesn't actually work like connecting btc addresses with mobile number. Rather such services are provided by web wallets in their mobile apps. BTC.COM mobile app is one such wallet.
As one doesn't get private keys of owned Bitcoins on such wallets, web wallets have full control over our btc. So they can easily debit/credit different accounts based on mobile-2-mobile request made.
Here are the screenshots-

2119  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: August 15, 2017, 04:38:31 PM
Hi traders!
Does somebody here do trading in stock market and also trading in bitcoin? Which is more profitable and safe?
Thanks ahead!

Yes, I am regular investor in both of your mentions. I have written about my experience yesterday. Here's the part of it.

Surely, it had. I am from Commerce background thus most of the time I am interested in investing my amounts in different investment plans. Earlier I did in stocks, shares, MFs but in the end I could hardly make 10-25% per year. But since I am introduced to cryptocurrencies, definition of investment and return have changed for me completely. I easily made 900% of my invested amount through Bitcoin and other coins in last one year.

Stock Market generally requires lots of market knowledge, you can't expect extraordinary results being amateur. Either you will run safe and make very nominal returns or run into risk and loose amount.
Best way out is Bitcoin. No matters when you invest, where you invest, how much you invest; profits are guaranteed in near future.
