Anything that can be done to generate a "Developers Fund" that seeks to continue work for the welfare of BlackCoin will always get support from the Foundation.

as I look at our Developers collaborative space I see over 30 people working....

there seems to be this train of thought amongst many that there is no dev team.
This is incorrect. We have many talented and skilled people working diligently away on things that are either in early stage or heading to alpha/beta.

We believe that many investors are happy with their investment and its current progress. In fact some of these invsetors are doing exactly as has been suggested, getting out their wallets and supporting things with cold hard cash. Thats what investment means, paying to develop products and services to improve the service offering and create a wider user base.

All in all things are nicely on track.

I've already contacted Xapo. They're not interested at this time as they are concentrating on making their BTC offering bulletproof. Once this is done they may consider Alts but it's not on their list of things to do this year that I know.

But, they were pleasant enough in their reply to me and should the opportunity resurface we will be right there

I will add though, if a lot of people do contact them we may be able to encourage them to think of us first when they do go ahead with Alts on the platform they offer.

A fair point and well made and certainly something we have discussed at length for some time. IF, and thats a BIG IF right now, there were to be any change it would only be to drop the word coin. Black has been used for the delivery of understatement, class and exclusivity for a long time. Dark and mysterious etc etc. Theres a lot of positive you can do with Black.

We have been immensely fortunate that the particular group of which you speak is not present and never has been present within the ranks of BlackCoin or any other coin what from I've seen with one possible exception of, right at the beginning of Whitecoin there was some noise being made about race and certain anti groups. Fortunately these got squashed very quickly. This IMO is an excellent indicator of the general intellect of the many that reside in crypto. It IS a generalisation of course as there will always be one or two people that will defy that convention. C'est La Vie.

Ultimately its a marketing game. Get it right and theres no issue. Get it wrong and all hell would break loose. Fortunately for BlackCoin we have surpassed all that negativity and are heading into the chosen domain of high value, understated class. Being able to buy an Airplane with BlackCoin does help in that regard

A store of value, high speed transactions... those 2 core elements alone make us a talking point, add to that all the other stuff and suddenly we're a product AND a service that has real world applications, and as we are the proof of concept, any clones will always refer to us. This is also known by the business people out there that want to join in. Why get a copy when the real thing is much better.

And again I will reiterate the power of presence. Going to Conferences, Meetings and Seminars all go to make a difference. Boots on the ground.

Last week I sold a colleague of Jon Matonis (yes, the Exec Director of Bitcoin Foundation) £5.00 of BTC on the spot in an Expo (for digital payment processing - not the most exciting expo I've been to but probably one of the most important!) with a Coinkite Terminal. So this message goes to ALL coins devs, owners and people. If you're serious about your coin, get away from that screen and take it to the people, otherwise you're just another ****coin in the virtual space. Going places... it's working for BlackCoin....

Is there a future for BlackCoin?

Hell yeah! We are making that future as every day goes by. We have teams of developers working on various projects, some big some small. We have Sales people looking for new merchants, we have people looking to invest in new ideas and innovations. We are quite possibly the strongest coin out there next to BTC right now.

We have an entire City being moved towards BlackCoin adoption by the end of the year in an exciting social and economic experiment. We have a global network of people working hard to make BlackCoin a success. This isn't about one or two people, BlackCoin is too big for that now. This is (and always has been) a team game and we're winnng Keep it up.
