2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase wallet stops support for XRP, ETC, XLM and BCH on: December 06, 2022, 08:30:29 AM
It's better that they say this early because if they don't, people will rush to withdraw their coins and others might find their XRPs stuck there. Now they really need to consider finding or looking for something to keep their coins easily and withdraw conveniently. Right now everyone is obliged to have a hard wallet to keep their coins because these exchanges keep updating their features and rules because of what happened on FTX. We need to know that they're exchanges, their rules, and not our wallet, it's not our coins at all.
2162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Universities promote violence on: December 05, 2022, 11:16:35 AM
What in the world are you talking about? how could they teach violence while they are only teaching and learning academics right there not any sort of crime? Maybe is they have another agenda like the student associations or clubs in some of the universities where the leaders promote their communist ideologies which kinda bad for the students especially those who were studying their whole lives and suddenly recruited to be non-sense activists and will gonna become a threat to the government. If this is what you are referring to, then I think you have a point, but the actual correct understanding about it is the universities have nothing to do with it. only those people who poisoned the student's minds to do bad things in the name of justice.
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were the government, how would you fight against bitcoin? on: December 05, 2022, 10:07:23 AM
This will only happen for sure in a dictatorial country where everything should be followed whatever the Leader of the country wishes without getting any second opinions from its people. It won't gonna happened because once they implement such kind of thing in a Democracy country, then it will become no less than a Dictatorial leadership. The government has its own limitations and people always come up with their own innovations when they want to own bitcoins. They cannot just add a law that is harsh to their people's freedom.
2164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock fight game on: December 05, 2022, 07:14:54 AM
I am not a big fan of animal fighting. It might be fun to watch but it could also be painful to see them suffering simply because of the useless human desire to gamble. Imagine rams dying or seriously injured because their owners want them to fight. But that's not for me to judge. In my opinion, it is not that interesting but I'm also aware that it's part of other people's culture. I respect that also.

But this couldn't be introduced in a casino probably because it is not a very acceptable form of gambling. Horse racing or dog racing would be all right but not those animal games that involve them dying.

They don't often don't show the state of the animals after the fight because they know what will gonna happen when the public concern will gonna do something and that would be the end of their brutal games for the animals. I remember one time in school when I catch some wild spiders in the tree when I was young, A man came and get all of my spiders and he let them all go without getting any explanations from me. He might have thought that I might gonna use it for gambling but in reality, I will gonna keep them as a pet back then. If only most people will act like him, especially those people that are in the government, they will gonna support these kinds of cruel acts against the animals but we know that most of them prefer to get money from those envelopes rather than stop them.
2165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice on: December 05, 2022, 06:24:17 AM
Bitcoin is preferred over others because it has a positive history where when the price has dropped, it always recovers, and sometimes, it exceeds the investor's expectations because bitcoins price reached a new ATH just like what happened in the last bull-runs. right now, they have high trust and they are always buying some bitcoins whenever the price is low because of the past history where the price will always recover, they don't feel any doubt rather they are just relaxed and steady. compared to the other altcoins, some are always failed and most of the time cannot recover their old high price and continue to fall until it no longer in the market.
2166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 05, 2022, 05:56:08 AM

That's the best game of Davis so far this season, Dropping 55 points is already impressive, but adding 17 rebounds? come on, this guy was possessed, he will be playing like this, Lakers will likely win the NBA Finals again.

I haven't seen their game today but I watch the highlights and it is as if Davis has become his old self again he is completely outscoring his rival in that game and Porzingis cannot stop him from scoring in the paint as well. The thing is, he always gets a good feed from his teammates especially when he is close to the basket. Most likely if they played such a high-level performance, there's no problem with them climbing to the playoff tree and competing in the NBA playoffs this season, and with this another win, they climb up to number 12 in the western conference.
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone sent ERC20 from my cold storage on: December 05, 2022, 05:31:36 AM

I wonder how they did this that's why it feels strange when my wallet received some shit tokens and I ended up not using it anymore cause I've been using my BSC wallet on NFT games and others back then. It might be the same reason they got my wallet address and decided to send me those traps. They are really getting updated with their scams as well and if we don't read and learn from here, we might end up falling into their trap one day.
2168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 04, 2022, 02:05:54 PM

They had found a system that works for them, Westbrook does not need to be a triple-double man, he can take care of the 2nd unit and they are effective with that. The Lakers now have become a threat, they were disregarded early but now they are winning games and that resulted in an improvement in their ranking.

Lakers are number 13 now but the good news is they are 7-3 on their last 10 games.

They have won their last 2 games but it's not enough to get up to rank 10 in the western conference because their rivals there are already won double digits way ahead of them. For now, they are getting serious and might improve their rank in the upcoming weeks before the end of this year and might gonna get different positive outcomes after that because they are starting to play effectively these past few days. LBJ even surpassed Magic Johnson in all-time Assists and he could still play and stretch that record furthermore to be able to give the upcoming NBA stars to even come close to it.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: December 04, 2022, 01:05:11 PM

In fairness to Akaho, he admitted via a tweet that it was his failure and admitted that he was confused about whether it was a clean punch that make him dizzy or the punch (which did hit) on the back of the head.

It was the worse fight I've ever witnessed and though Casimero is known to overcome opponents that are strange and psycho, this time it was all different because it seems like he is not fighting a pro boxer rather it feels like it was a street fight. Too bad it ended up like that and it wasn't the ending that we expect because the way they move inside the ring is unusual and Akaho seems to used the opportunity to stop the fight and thinking he might win unfortunately for him, it was a no contest and they really need to move on and not getting any rematch because the way they fight is not that exciting.
2170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First time of owning bitcoin on: December 04, 2022, 12:32:26 PM
Mine was never forgotten because the first few bitcoins I had back then were from faucets and it was hard-earned because I gathered them slowly for about a week. I used them to try trading for the first time and it was an amazing experience that I never forget until now. But the bad thing I did was I migrated the investment to cloud mining and added some money from my pocket which turned out to be the worse experience I had with bitcoins because it became a scam after a few weeks of inputting my money there. Back then I never knew the two were completely different from each other until I learned all the necessary information right here in this community.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A single alt coin which gives you profit multiple times? on: December 04, 2022, 11:52:37 AM
You only get multiple profits if you are lucky to invest in a coin in their pre-sales or early sales and you hold it until it reaches the point where it became successful throughout the years and its price has been increasing since. Sometimes when you have invested in the right way when the price of certain coins is still low, and you hit the jackpot by putting some decent money in it and the price will spike and you sold it before the price went down again.
2172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 02, 2022, 11:18:01 AM

Yeah, Middleton's comeback is good news for the Bucks, although it's worth noting that they're performing pretty well even without him, given that they're currently in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference. As for the upcoming game against the Lakers, it should probably be an easy win for the Bucks. Nevertheless, I would prefer to see the Lakers win because by doing so, the Lakers would prove that they aren't a hopeless team and can still beat tough opponents.

I saw it too that he will return against the Lakers and that would be a huge challenge for them seriously. If they can somehow find a way to win, then we can say that there are really hopes for them to compete in the NBA playoffs because this one is a huge wave, and to survive it, they really need the plan to stop Giannis and Middleton using the best players they have right now.

As for the Jazz, they aren't really doing good and they are about to jeopardize their chance to be in the NBA playoffs this season. Imagine how they failed to maintain their spot for just a week, getting knockout from the playoff tree because of losing streaks.
2173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ECB blog statement: "Bitcoin’s last stand" on: December 02, 2022, 10:04:00 AM
Most likely this is just the same as the negative statement regarding bitcoins before and as we can see, none of them has made a difference because right now, instead of declining, there are lots of people who want to have and use bitcoins every day. Things have not been the same for the banks since the introduction of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. I'm sure that they are the ones who are losing some money here because Satoshi Nakamoto has created a great option to keep your assets without interference from the Banks whatsoever.

I absolutely agree with you, because I think animal fighting is unacceptable. This kind of entertainment has been considered normal in some countries for a long time, but animals don't have to die for entertainment. Nowadays, people can build good fighting robots suitable for this kind of entertainment and bet on them. Why this is still not being done is a big question.

This is one of the most overrated gambling games in our country and sometimes insects like spiders are no exception to them as long as they can play and bet on it. I think this kind of game is not really necessary because how can someone be happy seeing the animal hurt or most of the time get killed?

Animal cruelty should not be in any kind of industry unless they are slaughtered for food to be consumed.

But for the people who find it a money-making machine, they don't mind hosting an event where these cruelties happened all the time.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is here to stay. on: December 01, 2022, 09:50:18 AM
What has happened with FTX is just another kind of thing you see in the crypto industry every year though it's kinda big because of their influence, events such as this one only give investors lessons so that they will be aware of it in the future and they can use it to prevent the same thing will happen to them in the future. As for the continued development in the other companies that are crypto-related, this is also expected because they already know that crypto is way bigger than a fraud exchange like FTX and they won't really jeopardize their opportunity to develop and update their product with crypto, just by seeing FTX failed their investors.

2176  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The Bad Effect of Covid 19 Vaccine (It Kills): Bitcointalk women avoid it on: December 01, 2022, 09:09:52 AM
Taking covid vaccine is not that as bad but the lack to orientation for proper administration is what is causing mortality through the process, if you get vaccination being healthy young adults is good and fine, but a pregnant woman should avoid taking the vaccine at early stage of her pregnancy because it may lead to termination of the pregnancy, but the medical personels wouldn't emphasize this to them, over aged women are not advisable to take it neither because they have weak immune system, i think the vaccine itself needed to be research on to ensure maximum risk safety for those using it.

No one will gonna study it before injecting it into us, we are the guinea pig as humans and they will get the data from us. We don't know how much mortality rates are there for real but the effect of getting the vaccine when you are pregnant is something scary for others and be it a rumor or a fact, pregnant women in our community avoided getting vaccinated and they only want it when they are done delivering their babies to be safe. Others don't really want to get vaccinated at all but most of the time they were forced to do so because they were working in the government.
2177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 01, 2022, 08:36:33 AM
The Lakers got themselves a nice win over the Damian Lillard-less Portland Trailblazers. LeBron James and Anthony Davis both had big nights.

The Cleveland Cavs got another win over 76ers. They beat them by 28 and have the 5th best record in the league now. Biggest surprise of the season for sure. I thought they’d be tanking for the draft.

They cannot do that unless they don't have the all-stars in their team playing this season because it will be obvious if they gonna do it that way. They can still catch up when they are winning like this because the other teams that were winning in the first phase of the season, are now losing and giving every low-rank team to catch up and have their chance to be in the playoff. If the Lakers can still win more games than lose the remaining games of the season, probably they can be in the top 5 or 6 in the NBA playoff tree.
2178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the eyes of Sam himself, he is so innocent on: December 01, 2022, 07:39:51 AM
It doesn't really work that way, he can say what he wants but the evidence will be the main thing that the judges will look upon and will gonna be judged according to it. There are already many versions of stories about what happened and we need to wrap this thing up as soon as possible so that we can move on and use this lesson for our own good in the future. That's just how it is, even though you don't have any intention to defraud anyone but when all the evidence will prove you wrong, you will end up in bad situations like others in jail.
2179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After FTX collapse, some call for a return to decentralized roots on: November 30, 2022, 12:50:55 PM
In that case, people should really be careful because once it becomes a trend, scammers will also take advantage by creating their own version of decentralized exchanges with lots of freebies so that they can gather as many victims as they want. It was a huge tragedy that happened on FTX I think it was the worse case after what happened on MtGox but we need to understand that things like this always happened in the crypto industry but it won't gonna be the cause of its total destruction rather it's a good experience so that we can learn from it in the future.
2180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 30, 2022, 11:39:39 AM
Days surely go fast and here we are a few days before a comeback fight for Casimero against Akaho this is not just a usual fight because boxing fans are expecting to see how Casimero has trained himself and remained as strong as he was before. Well! we will gonna see if he still has the ability and strength to face other strong boxers like Inoue and if he will have no problem defeating Akaho. If he cannot do the job well, then his dream to fight Inoue will never happen. He will remain on fitting some unknown boxers until he retired from boxing.
