1541  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How true is this statement? on: April 16, 2023, 06:53:55 PM
He is speaking about bitcoins without knowledge and obviously, he is hostile against bitcoins and it's understandable that he hasn't any good thing to say about it. Well, if you want to know how long-term investment of bitcoins really is, see the people that have been holding it for 5-10 years and compare their statement to this idiot who was been talking like this because he is the biggest fan of banks. You better do your own research regarding this and not listen to those people who are cutting every opportunity you have with bitcoins by fooling you around with their trash statements.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 16, 2023, 05:50:46 PM
Miami Heat literally proved to me again that they are not that easy to defeat especially in the intense games because they've got more exposure and experience compared to the Chicago Bulls. I totally forgot that they were the ones who battled the Celtics in the conference finals last season, anyway, I was just hoping that it will be a different outcome because the Heat wasn't showing any good signs in the regular season as they just barely get a seat in the play-in.

Honestly, they were not the same as the Miami Heat team who were competing in the Finals with the Lakers but since they were able to keep hold of their position and earned the spot to play in the NBA playoffs, let's see what they can do right now and yes! they can really do well and give their opponent a hard time since the key players are all healthy and can play well. I wonder if their plan will work to beat the Bucks in the first game of this series and if that happens, then the Bucks is in trouble because it will be hard to bounce back though.
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can owning 1 Bitcoin make you rich in 2023? on: April 16, 2023, 05:21:51 PM
1 Bitcoin is expensive and if you hold it just for a few days or a month, you better not buy that kind of huge amount, instead just buy some small portion of it because you never know what will gonna happen and we are not in the bull runs season yet. Meaning you will experience a decrease in the price most of the time and if the money you used to buy it is needed to buy something, it will cost you a lot because sometimes the price will from 30% in just a matter of an hour and will recover after 2-3 months sometimes after a year. So be careful when making decisions like that unless the price of 1 bitcoin is nothing to you.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will the altcoin holders hang on until the bull run comes ? on: April 14, 2023, 12:07:54 PM
When it comes to altcoins, it's really hard to keep holding on especially when you see the price is currently rising at its current ATH and the other cryptocurrencies are not moving their price. Of course, you won't gonna wait for a bull run when you witnessed those sceneries because you won't know whether the price will still be like that or it might be not the case anymore because it's already over for that coin and the reason for that is, the hype has already subsided and the price right after that is going to decrease little by little each day.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 14, 2023, 11:32:09 AM

Unfortunately, they might exit early in the playoffs as they're up against the Warriors, a proven championship team. If they manage to beat the Warriors, then they'll earn a lot of respect from the fans. Therefore, hopefully they'll pull off a big surprise and upset the defending champions.

I don't know if that's still the case right now because they are different rosters and looks like they can give GSW a hard time in the first round. Unless the GSW will know how to easily break their defensive strategy it will gonna damaged them a lot because if that happens, they will quickly be buried with a double-digit lead and when against the GSW, only a few teams are able to catch up with them. Especially right now, Andrew Wiggins is clean to play and he could be the asset to surprise the Kings and swiftly beat them in this first-round NBA playoffs series.
1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto as "payment" method adaptable for non tech-savvy people? on: April 14, 2023, 10:59:03 AM
That's the only thing you can do for them, you just need to let them know about it and the rest is up to them whether they decide to adopt it or not because we cannot force them to do it and just blindly follow our decision because when things aren't going well in the crypto market and they lose huge amount of money, they will undoubtedly put the blame on you. So to be safe, the only role you need to take is to spread awareness and educate them, and let them decide what they want after that. You need to know that losing money is not a joke and when they don't find any answer, they will surely turn against you, and worst case scenario they will file a case against you.
1547  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Resource Control in Africa on: April 13, 2023, 03:26:36 PM
The continent of Africa has many natural resources, ranging from crude oil to natural stones, but there are no leaders who can demand processing of the majority of the natural resources. Despite the fact that we have fewer natural disasters than the rest of the world, the continent is poor and suffers more of what is naturally available to them. It is my belief that if leaders make intelligent and right demands from developed countries, they gradually begin to develop instructions for the processing of their resources.

Unlike the Middle East, they seem don't to have a just leader who can distribute this wealth to their people rather those appointed leaders are always corrupt and used the earnings of these resources for their own gains only. That's why they cannot get away from poverty and they always portrayed as the poorest people in the entire world but they can change this and will not gonna be like this forever because the chance is right there and they only need is to choose a right leader that will gonna change this for them and most important is, they need to choose a leader that doesn't really care about money.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 13, 2023, 02:56:03 PM
Actually there is a guy who can (actually could, based on his shape now) shut that Irish leprechaun mouth Cheesy I am talking about Quentin Rampage Jackson. I like that way he trash talks. Not like Conor, whos main argument of humiliation is comparing everyone with his wealth, but Rampage trash talks in special humorous way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nj_Bjmp9edQ or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bi_jVuYjlI4. Also, perhaps Chael Sonnes is good at track talking. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HmZn4tnjTas that a KO Cheesy

I still remember these clips back when I first watch UFC fights and it was really fun to watch him because these guys are both at the peak of their careers back then and they are both contenders. They also talk lots of trash talks in this show and if you ponder upon it, it seems like Rampage Jackson has the upper hand when it comes to the things like this when they fought, Rashad Evans beat him in a unanimous decision because he got owned by him in every round.  Grin

1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How not having money helped my Bitcoin journey on: April 13, 2023, 01:30:20 PM
That's right! when you have all the basic knowledge concerning bitcoins and cryptocurrencies, every move you make will be easy and productive and when the time comes you are about to buy your first bitcoins, you won't have that anxiety of looking countless times on the crypto market because you already know the drill and the common basic things about it. That's why knowledge is precious, especially in this field where there are lots of scammers that are taking advantage of people that are not familiar with the crypto market and how it works. when you look at the scam victims' posts you see that they don't have enough knowledge and they learned their lesson the hard way because they rush to invest rather than to investigate first.
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: April 13, 2023, 12:56:27 PM
The thing here is, if Fulton could destroy the career of Inoue, that would make him popular. Imagine if Inoue asks for a rematch in case he loses in his first attempt, and then Fulton beats him again, that would send Inoue back to bantamweight for sure, and his confidence will surely be affected.

So, this is a big fight for both fighters, especially for Fulton, because he is the underdog here, which means only a few believe he could win despite being the champion.

I'm pretty sure Inoue has completely trained intensively just for this fight because he knows from other fighters in the past how hard it is to fight when you first time increase your weight. Fulton on the other hand need to train some unique techniques to counter Inoue's speed and power because if he doesn't practice to dodge those deadly punch, he will more likely be knockout in the early rounds unless he can take the punch and we know that some fighters can really take punches from those we thought are powerful punchers, it happens a lot before especially in this weight division.
1551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metamask - new feature that detects scams on: April 12, 2023, 06:29:37 PM
This might not be big for veteran users because just one look at the site they know that the site is a scam. But for newbies, this is helpful because the way it pops up they will automatically be aware of the situations and they will quickly avoid those sites that are scams. These are really the updates we need from other wallets as well and from this, I'm sure there will also be lots of updates regarding this one prioritizing their user's safety is really what they need so that they will gain more users in the future.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Champions prediction. on: April 12, 2023, 05:26:59 PM
I voted for the Boston Celtics because I think they will probably know how to get back to the NBA finals quickly but I doubt they can pass through that stage because I just remembered that KD is in Phoenix Suns which will go to be the Western Conference champion easily this year if they can play healthy throughout the NBA playoffs. The only problem they have is when they cannot stop the GSW because they are lethal in the NBA playoffs and when they can get past Sacramento Kings quickly, then their next opponent will be in danger.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 12, 2023, 02:23:16 PM
To boost that number of people, you need a working TV advertisement which we know that cost a lot. So the only thing you can do is promote and spread it in your hometown by making small classes each day of the week and making a seminar like Bitcoin awareness every month. In order to do that, you need at least 20 persons in your team that is dedicated as you and also know how to answer basic questions from the attendees. From this, you can make a huge group that will gonna spread it until you reach the maximum amount of people to know bitcoins and also the crypto industry as well.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 12, 2023, 01:39:41 PM

Yeah, it was an exciting ending for the Wolves. They did try to win this game against the home team, but to compound efforts of all the Lakers players really work out to win the game.

With LeBron and Davis showcase their experienced it was a hard deal for KAT and Edwards lucky for the Wolves
as Conley really helps them in trying to win the game but without a good game from the two main core duo nothing
can be done to upset the Lakers.

That's just how desperate they are to win that single game to secure their spot in the NBA playoffs because if they didn't win, surely the next game is more stressful and hard for them. As you can see they celebrate a lot when they won and if only they can play this much against Memphis, they will beat them in the 4-2 series I think. But as we know, the Grizzlies are a young team and can quickly score against them easily, they need to have a working plan on how to stop them, and when they do, their chance of going to get that championship is higher than expected this year.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Cardano get so much hate? on: April 12, 2023, 01:05:24 PM
Simply because they were expecting too much about its development for the past years and when their expectations didn't meet, they start to unlike it and move on to another project which will gonna give them assurance in terms of their investment. Cardano's competitors are huge giants companies that are consistently updating their products and developing their platforms in order to stay at the top that's why they are hard to beat unless Cardano's developers will come up with new innovative approach towards their marketing and developments.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 11, 2023, 03:10:23 PM
First of all, why would you be convincing people to invest in Bitcoin?

I feel the same as you. I tried to convince many people to buy bitcoin in early days. Now I feel that you can only teach them about bitcoin and after that they will have to decide for themselves. Honestly many people do not understand bitcoin enough to trust their money into this system. Still everyone should know for themselves.

This is the safest method to promote bitcoins and to avoid the blames of the people once the market is currently experiencing volatility which most of the newbies panic when they see it. The only thing you can help them with is to share with them some knowledge you have learned these past few years from this community especially how to prevent themselves from getting scammed from these multiple tactics by crooks and scammers with their Ponzi Schemes. Other than that is up to them to decide because it's really hard to even for ourselves when it comes to investment, especially with money.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 11, 2023, 01:49:28 PM

Garcia probably hasn't felt like an underdog before, as he has been mostly the favorite in his previous fights, if not all. So it's not a big deal to him. He will prove that he deserves bigger respect, and the only way to do that is to beat Tank Davis. Everyone is anticipating this big fight as it is the biggest fight that will happen this year so far.

He needs to put everything into this fight because this is the peak of his challenges and when he gets through this, he will no longer be bullied by the others saying he is only capable of winning on small fishes and can't take a big one. If he successfully finishes Davis and knocks him out, it will be a huge statement and even be added to the Fight of the Year nomination. They really need to make this fight happen because this is the era and their chance to further expand their popularity with this fight and be one of the legendary boxer once they finally step out of the ring.
1558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 11, 2023, 01:00:21 PM
You can also try to take advantage of your investment and kill your bad habits like smoking and drinking alcohol instead you gonna use that funds to buy bitcoins and you surely won't gonna lose with that method. Because you are like hitting two birds with one stone, you can get away with your addictions and also you have a chance to become a millionaire in the process when you want to hold it for the long term. Not only that, I know there are some bad habits that you need to avoid and you spend money with them, if you can only instead spend it on buying bitcoins it would be best for you.
1559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you a long time hodler? on: April 11, 2023, 12:21:52 PM
I prefer personally to hold for the long term because I only invest some money which was mostly from my past hobbies and carefully buying at the lower price and patiently waiting for another bull runs to come. Because it has been proven a lot if you wait for a long in your investment in bitcoins, there's always a good result for it rather than investing for the short term which is likely you are only gambling with your money. The only problem with long-term investment is you need to have lots of patience and know how to avoid the crypto market for a short period when things are not right.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 11, 2023, 11:18:14 AM
It was the only thing they could do. I mean what message would they send if they didn't suspend him for at least 1 game?
Of course this didn't make reaching the playoffs easier but lucky for them they have another shot even if they lose against the Lakers.
Now they are stuck with Rudy after pretty much betting their future on him in this monster, and ridiculous, trade last summer. If that trade didn't look bad enough back then it sure does now.

That's why the Utah Jazz didn't hesitate to trade him and will gonna build their team once again because Rudy might be hard to tame but once they got out of this mess I think they will gonna still have a chance to chase the final spot but that if the other teams in the play-in tournament will struggle as well. But when the Pelicans will play well even in the absence of Williamson, then their ticket to the NBA playoffs will be over and they better fix and be better both in their play and chemistry next season because if they won't they will find themselves at the same spot again, struggling and merely get to the top 10.
