2161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if you invested a $1 in Bitcoin every day for 5 years on: September 28, 2020, 03:30:53 AM
1dollar per day in the form of savings can be alot to some that dont have a decent life or a decent job . the idea is simillar to what i always read but that wasnt related to crypto but its about saving money . if people can spend thier money on random things that arent beneficial , why not or what if those people save that money . in our case here , save it in the form of bitcoin . bitcoin is divisible but there is a minimum amount for cashing in fiat to btc , there was also a fee .  if only buying and saving btc is as easy as saving a fiat money , why not  ?
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 28, 2020, 02:57:31 AM
you said you can win sometimes but those wins cant cover what you have lost or you can win without loosing but that wins are too small for you to say that you are already on profit . if you continue like this nothing will change on you . you need to change your betting style . you need to up your bets and foccus on smaller quantity of matches. in that way if you win , you feel that your wins are slightly big enough for you to stop . i was once betting small but i realized overtime that what im doing is nonsense because i cant reach my targeted profit
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: September 26, 2020, 03:36:50 PM
Someone can only be scammed when you are not informed,  how can you be informed? Its base on observation and research concerning a particular angle you are getting into,
informed by who ? you dont need to wat for someone to informed you that its a scam before you can react that its a scam and you avoid it .  you can get informed if you have concerned friends that have knowledge on this field or if your actively visiting forums and sites to gather infos but what if not ? your the only one that can inform your self then .

Quote
learning is part of observation,.
that sounds wrong .  the correct phrase should be 'observation is part of learning '  when you observe you learn  but its useless to learn and then you will not apply it because you will just observed anyway
2164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: September 26, 2020, 09:23:04 AM
Nothing is difficult as long as you want to learn,
if this is true then all people are now living on the life the way they want it to be but they arent  . there is something that holds us back  .

Quote
I suggest that those who want to learn don't stop at books but open the internet can be easy.
you mean we dont need to stop learning on the internet but we can continue learning on books .

we cant always carry the internet with our hands or on our pocket but books are verry versatile  .  there can be facts that are not present on the web but we may find these out once we browse on the books .
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vietnam bursts an illegal casino who used to handle bets worth $3 billions on: September 26, 2020, 07:07:03 AM
That's really existing, there are illegal gambling house where gamblers supports the activities.
They are not concern about anything as long as the sites pay them for their wins they will continue to use the sites,
it's really the government that's needs to step up and bring those sites to be closed, no need to wait for someone
to be scam by those illegal practitioners.

The illegal gambling house still operates for a long time because many gamblers like their services and the gamblers recommend their friends to come to that place. The gambler only thinks about the gambling site is paying or not, and even if the legal gambling sites, and if the site has a long time to withdraw or have bad service, the gambler won't use it to playing gambling.

The government jobs to verify the gambling site are legal or illegal, but it will not be easy since they need to check one by one of those sites to find the illegal sites. That will be the same thing if they want to find the illegal casino in their country, and the government needs to search for many places that indicate to be used for playing gambling.

governments has a funds and who says they are gonna do it alone , they can always hire a people that will them find the illegal sites . this is not easy but this can make a change than government sits and does nothing during their term  .

in the meantime we gamblers can also help by not supporting those gambling place that we think a illegal. common lets not be lazy , i know we can if we will only seperate a little time for reading and researching .
2166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What actually makes a token pump? on: September 26, 2020, 06:05:08 AM
those are actually the traits of a coin to pump but the big question why its still dump . im not familiar to dia but this coin is new or old ? if the its not really new and it experience to pump before why are you worrying too much when other older coins are also got into that phase and now is a time that all coins are down . come back again next time and update us by the time the market returns to normal , lets see if your dia coin is still on the same position because if it is , there could be specific reason for that .
2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and tax in your countries on: September 26, 2020, 03:32:22 AM
In our country, they do not yet recognize crypto as a currency. So there are no crypto taxes. They prohibit payments with cryptocurrencies and are not responsible for any cryptocurrency transactions. We can still own the cryptocurrency.
Any crowdfunding activities in our country must go through the government. ICO projects can only be held outside of our country.

i dont like the other rules on your country except to the last which crowdfunding thru government , this is different from the traditional crowdfunding but i like this because this means only legit ico are qualified but its also wierd at the same time because the ico cant run in the same country  .

that means no local supporters can invest on it ? if i remember there were ico that restricts certain countries but i guess that they dont restrict thier own country on the list  .

if you check his profile feedback there is that users that said he promote scam gambling sites . in my head maybe he prioritize those and he added legit casino reviews so that he can hide those and he wont care on the details of those legit casino's  .

there is still a faucet in the form of reloads and rakeback . this is mostly for vip's but non vip can avail of reload every month i guess  (not really updated on the site anymore so i almost forgot )

you say there are 12 games, in fact there are more than that.

this can be the sites original games but other games are from thier gambling partners  .
2169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Question to Crypto users about its security on: September 25, 2020, 01:26:04 PM
If someone can access your funds then how you can call it as safe? If it is your money then you only needs to access it if you wanted to give it to your family then give it to them if they are trusted,if they are not trusted enough then why need to give money to them?
they get access because you let them but the access is limited to your trust network to ensure that cryptos are safe .

-If you have money in bank or invested in stock or somewhere else regulated by government and you dies, bank/stock exchange will contact the nominee when the account goes inactive. but if a person who hold crypto dies, nobody will know about this so the money is lost forever. if the person decides to share the crypto details with someone then its not really a "secured" currency.
crypto exchange and some crypto wallets are also regulated or centralized  and they can do the same service like what you decribed above  . and how do you know that no one will know if the crypto owner dies ? what if they already tell their access to the people that they trust the most  . sharing details can also happen on banking or on other regulated platforms and not just not crypto but this does not mean that they are not secure .
2170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ClipX steals KYC data and shuts down on: September 25, 2020, 12:48:55 PM
If we actually talk about the Clip X Project, then from the very beginning of the Bounty Company nothing foreshadowed trouble and no information was in this project a fraud. In addition, at first the Bounty Company was mentioned about the absence of KYC. Everything happened very quickly, when, after the end of the bounty, the companies quickly demanded to provide KYC and immediately after the end of this period they announced the closure of the project.

Many people say that the purpose of these scammers was to steal the user's passport data, but was it really necessary to choose such a too complicated path in order to steal personal data?

they cant milk the hunters so the hardwork of promoting and the kyc is the only thing that they can scam but not for the investors because they got scammed double  . that is money and kyc .

obtaining a kyc is hard , they cant think of other ways apart from this and its worth it because kyc is verry valueable . changing rule can be an indication for hunters that there is something thats not right and by that they should not give what the team is asking for  .
2171  Economy / Gambling / Re: Anybody knows Wbet7 admin? I'll give you 0.02 BTC on: September 25, 2020, 12:00:58 PM
There is also possibility that his winning also came from just small capital. Since it's not that trusted website I don't think some one will just deposit big amount to the gambling site that he never use before . For what ever reason is even they have event that promise a good bonus it's still no way you will just trust your money to unknown gambling websites just because of bonus.

Either way, OP has the guts to deposit on that site relying only on limited information. Or maybe it was started on the usual scam scheme wherein a player will surely win but needed a deposit to withdraw the amount. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5081286.100

We don't know the reason but maybe someone lured him to use the site.

Anyways, almost a month now that OP doesn't come back here so maybe it's time now to bury this thread for good. Keeping the thread active will just make the site name bumped as I have mentioned, they are still active.

Maybe that scenario really happen since imagine those big bonuses offers by some scam site and newbie will surely fall for wanting to get those easy money offered to them. But unfortunately this is another sad event of scamming which I think still not resolve since OP didn't give an update, For sure many curious people want to know the update on this thread.

But since OP is gone I think best for mods to lock this thread to avoid any unnecessary bumping as you said.

what if op already gaved up ? because its case is verry common and the comments that he got here makes him more depressed its because almost all comments are against him and not on the site .

i didnt check the site now because of slow connection , i cant judge if the site looks legit or fake but if its already proven by members , they can file a report so that this site can get shutdown as much as possible before more newbies fall to this schemes
2172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future holds for bitcoin on: September 25, 2020, 11:27:20 AM
accumulating wealth in the form of accumuating a bitcoin ? that sounds verry basic if that is the new way to get rich than doing the traditional saving of money which can take more longer  .

when we already accumulated a wealth , this  can secure our future and our families but we can mind the cashless policy because being cashless isnt really that a big deal  .  we can worry more  if there is no more cash or physical ways of transacting  .
2173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: September 24, 2020, 11:49:39 PM
AFAIK a camera on the glasses films your gestures and translates them into commands.
Yup, and that is why VR isn't a thing now. Any unnecessary movement will also translate into command from your background, thus this will result to any unwanted action from the game. I don't think it is a good idea for interactive gambling especially with crypto though, there is a chance they people could know their identity through it which most of people in crypto casino avoid to happen.
v.r is still a thing and this thing is still in under development because there are people that dont touch this with thier hands yet and price can be the factor that holds them from getting a copy . there are v.r in movies or in videos , there are v.r's on games and on other genre's . those genre's that i mention also needs buttons to operate but its seperate from the v.r itself because users will get interupted if thier movements interfers with it  . they can also apply this to gambling because gambling is more risky as its involved real money  .
2174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Dice Games and Yolodice . Best strategy?? on: September 24, 2020, 10:57:53 PM

The most curios thing is that people always say: I bet with 99% chance of win and still lose once, twice or more in dice. What about to use 1% win of chance and bet this way? Less loss but chance of higher win if you increase bet on for example on every 30th bet.
~

theres nothing to be curious if we always see that occur  to ours to other people  . 99 percent win is not a 100 percent win , theres that 1 percent chance that you will loose but 1 percent is verry small . they can be verry lucky in a way that they loose too often  .

using 1 percent chance is more worst because the chance of you winning is verry tiny but if you got lucky you can win in a few rolls and you can win huge too for a small bet due to the high odds
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deposit UNI = $50 Bucks on: September 24, 2020, 10:20:23 PM
Its cool, You have good profit through UNI and also 50$. You are rich my friend.

if not for the additional 50 usd wont you call him rich arent you . they cant be rich with those yet but they can be if they wont sell thier uni and have waited for its price to cross a million  . not per coin but per 400 uni minimum or more  .

i search the offer the offer in google but i didnt see houbi said something about this excpet from this thread here  , oh well maybe this message does only exist on the email  but we still need to be careful to avoid getting phished , hacked or scammed  .
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold or Bitcoin on: September 24, 2020, 10:14:21 AM
No doubt Gold is a stable investment but if you check the growth history of Bitcoin then Bitcoin price increased 1000 times more than gold in last three years. I will definitely prefer Bitcoin on Gold.

the time that gold spent in the making are enough or can be more than to what the value of bitcoin has reached in its 10 years of presence  and dont be confident enough when you said thousand times increased because that you dont know if those gains are still there tomorrow

but  gold can be pretty solid not only in its physical form but also solid in terms of its value which cant be easily break or tear down  .
2177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: September 24, 2020, 09:31:31 AM

It's very easy to make money when the market is growing. When bitcoin moves up, it is followed by all altcoins, regardless of whether they are valuable or not. In this case, it is very easy to get a profit. But when the price of bitcoin falls, it is very difficult to choose a promising altcoin, because they are no different from others.

fall of the price does not affect the real value of the coin but fall of the price is a plus point to us to purchase those real valueable coins .

Right now, I think the best is to keep your money in cash, bitcoin is falling and taking altcoin down with itself, it is not just bitcoin, the global economy is failing somehow because of the corona, and it has affection on bitcoin.
why not keep money in stable coins instead of cashing them out since you are already in here on crypto but those that who keep in cash are mostly people that are not involved in crypto  . the effect of corona to btc is already over  , now btc falls and i dont think corona is still responsible for it   .
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: September 24, 2020, 08:48:18 AM
Well, about newbies in the world of cryptocurrency I have to say that the following phrase is reasonably confirmed: The higher the risk, the higher the reward.

This is what I think every time I have doubts towards my investments.

That phrase really motivates me and make me become more aware about the happenings in an investments.

we need to find what motivates us on everything that we do because this removes the down feeling that we felt  but when it comes to investing on cryptocurrency i dont consider the phrase "high risk , high reward " to all the cryptos  because what if you do this on any random crypto and you dont know that what your  investing  are a  scam .

only risk is you will get but not reward or high reward  . phrase is best suited for the coins such as btc or simillar that has a high volatility rate
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone know a dice game that is actually fair? on: September 24, 2020, 08:10:21 AM
when you cash out i supposed that means to withdrew . how can they rape you if your gonna withdrew ? betting bigger does not also make the system cheat you unless they are built to do that . never has beaten the house but you can win more the moment you already won , that is if you got lucky  .

so many dice games now are provably fair but  not to the point that they are actually fair to give you more winning easily .
2180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: private key doesn't work on: September 24, 2020, 04:51:57 AM
OP, have you checked your address first? Is it really working or what I meant is, did you really create a bitcoin address to have a private key?
This is why I always make a lot of physical back up. I don't want to mess everything up just to be secure with just 1 saved copy.
Out of curiosity, what wallet are you using?

no the op didnt have this problem but he is only asking it because he thinks that it can possibly happen not only to him but also to someone else . having a privatekey out of nowhere is also not possible if he didnt create a crypto wallet at first  and is there is such thing as checking the address if its working or not ? i guess no but the only way to check if the address is active if there are some funds with it  but what your doing is right , two or more is always better than one copy  .
