For some reason, when I spend a day on simplevert compared to a day on give-me-coins, I get about 1/2 the VTC from simplevert that I get from give-me-coins. So are you saying you might be doing something wrong on " simplevert.com" OR do you think you are getting ripped off please be honest cause i would like to use a pool that lets me get vert and mon at same time.  |

great thing vtc has been added on to mintpal. it gave some attention to execoin. hopefully we can see execoin at vert price soon
Execoin is a copy-paste with modified n scrypt schedule and faster block times. Vert price soon?  +1 Better start switching over to Vert before it's too late. Just wish I could figure out why it only works on 2 of my 6 rigs... Use BAMT with vertminer if you can. well i do hope you get your stuff working i know how annoying it is having hardware just doing nothing |

I see a lot of references in the announcement post about certain events occurring when the exchange from CAI > CAIx is complete. I'm assuming this means when all 1.6 million CAIx are gone on CoinSwap. My question is, what if this never happens? For example, someone forgot about their CAI in some wallet and never make the exchange.
If this turns out to be the case (which is very likely), will this prevent the switchover to CAIx on exchanges and such? Also, in the ANN post it says that mining will end on 5/18. If there is still CAIx left to be exchanged on CoinSwap will mining of CAI continue? Will there be any sort of time limit on making the switch on the coins? If that limit gets hit and there are still CAIx leftover does that mean the total supply will actually be LOWER than 1.6 million?
I think that they will put 1.6 million CAIx on coinswap, people will exchange their CAI for CAIx 1:1, if people who have forgoten about coins they have mined then they will be out of luck as people will be mining CAI right up until the point that the last CAIx has been traded from Coin Swap, anyone with CAI after that will be sad. I would agree with you, as that method totally makes sense. But this section from the ANN makes me wonder if that won't actually be the case. Mining of CAIx in PoS will start today 8 hours after release.
Mining of CAI will cease sometime around 5/18/2014.
The only way to obtain CAIx is by mining CAI and changing to CAIx on Coinswap.
Or purchase CAI from the following Exchanges and changeing to CAIx on CoinSwap.
If the 5/18 date was listed just as an estimation of when enough CAI will have been mined to convert all of the CAIx then that would make sense also. Either way is fine, just looking for some certainty. I need to know if I need to start looking for a new coin to mine, or if I can mine CAI till the CAIx runs dry. i agree need to find something new to mine once this is up since we wont be able to .... i just dont undertand how will new coins be generated if no miners |

You'll have to act, like I'd expect (and have no issue with) in accordance with what you think best for you, but here's my take on it - if you care about VTC and believe in what it stands for, mine it. Mine it and hold as much as you can afford to. I don't personally care much about the price, what I do care about is hashrate and network security - I am of the view that the more hashrate (and therefore security) a network has, the more value it can protect, so mine VTC, secure the network and the price will do what it will do. hey boris 1st of all nice to see you you are the one who helped me get set up lol on n scrypt .. but i do believe in the coin just depressing lol to see so little coin minned at times feels like i dont even make a contribution but i understand what you saying |

i dont think it is something big, there are already numerous exchanges support VTC.
Every coin face a big dump right after first hours they got listed on Mintpal. Be careful with your trading, you can be burned.

I didn't want to go through the hassle before but screw it, I'm going back to my moolah.ch account, withdrawing 5 verts to my bter account, then going to transfer it all into btc and withdraw it all to my blockchain.info account and finally send the .002 into the coinpayment website to vote for us....We better win this!

IF i recall correct they said would be something on coinswap where you will be able to exchange 1 to 1 ratio and the exchange will have no fees as the coin devs will pay for it. Once again i might be wrong thats what i recall |

Announcement is being redone for CAIx release to take place in a few hours.
Pretty sure CAI is hitting at least 70-80k sats a few hours after the new wallet is released and the trading pair is set up. and CAIX going up to 500k sats from 28million coins to only 1.6million! 17,5x less coins, price should AT LEAST hit 10x which at current rate will be 500k sats!  LOL would be nice i personally have been trying to push for 2.1 million coins so it can be 10% of bitcoin seems like a nice number to me What's the difference? Why do you think it somehow matters that it will be exactly 10% of BTC? It's irrelevant. If you are going to waste energy lobbying for something, at least do it for something that matters. No offense. lol no offense taken and its no waste of energy i work from home so i sit next to my work computer so while im hearing someone complain on phone at work i type here not like im putting my life on hold lobbying , but in all honesty i didnt say would make a difference i am just type of person who like things in nice numbers |

Does anyone think mintpal will add vtc, can't believe its not on there already? I wont use cryptsy because of all the horror stories you hear but would like to get some VTC... Does anyone know if there are plans to list it on mintpal?
use poloniex, or use cryptsy its not that bad, only thing is they are slow Ive been using Cryptsy, and I don't really have any complaint other than speed. I don't feel that I have been scammed out of coins during trading or otherwise. i been using cryptsy for some of the coins that are better deal there but i do agree some coins do take some time to deposit on there. I like the site and all i just wish they had a option on cryptsy to buy bitcoin with US dollar kinda like coinbase does |
