1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Warning: GAW-Miners Hosting / Zenminer Cloud / OneMiner.com does not mine LTC on: August 08, 2014, 06:06:36 PM
i thought zencloud said the price is $0.90 a day for each Antminer S3 according to what i see on gawminers website AFTER the 1 free month? Please correct me if the price is indead different cause i am calculationg something different than your numbers.

MINER SPECS:
•Hash Rate: 441 GH/s±5%
•Power Consumption: 366 Watt at the wall
•Power Efficiency: 0.77 J/GH on wall
•Power Supply: 12V DC
•Size:  331 mm x 137 mm x 160 mm
•Fans: Two 14038 fans mounted on both front and back ends
•Operating Temperature: 0 °C to 35 °C
•Complied with: FCC / CE

* ZenMiner will host your Antminer S3 441 GH/s miner for a flat rate of $0.90/day of your total hosting electricity costs after the free month promotional period has concluded. This small fee will cover all your hosting, power, and internet fees. We believe this is an innovative approach to providing a service that no one offers, and we will continue to raise the bar!

So just to make sure i understand 100%. If i buy something from like gawminers.com or that onedeal site and get zenhosting. I wont get physical hardware until i decide to unplug my device correct? Also lets say i but 2 units that dont come with power supplies do i need to buy power supply to have them in the zencloud or do they supply power to devices while they host them? The last question is if i have my own miners or buy miners from ebay can i send them to gawminer or zencloud hosting so they can add to my account?  Thanks in advance to whoever answers my 3 questions i asked on here.  Smiley

1) Correct, your hardware goes directly to zen and is provisioned within 24 hours (most cases).
2) Zen supplies the power for the duration of hosting, you don't have to purchase a PSU. When you "unhost" it will be shipped to you without the PSU, just as you originally purchased.
3) You CANNOT ship your own miners for them to host.
sweet thanks for the answer i was just kinda confused after reading some of the posts

1986  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer. on: August 07, 2014, 04:44:15 PM
Yes but why wait.  New tech will always be released just after you bought your shiny new rig.

Because if you want to buy - you need money, but if you want just to talk - you need nothing Smiley It is very cheap  Grin
lol talk is cheap that was funny
1987  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: XBTec Announce. New ASIC manufacturer. on: August 07, 2014, 03:23:49 AM
Dogie is supposed to have his sample miner by yesterday, but not any update from him.

Let us wait for a while and see.

Dogie probably got demo unit, I would wait for some paid customers to report delivery.

Testing it now, I'll probably be done Wednesday EU afternoon.
please let us know what model you got and how is it working, heat level, noise level, power used, ease of set up all the good stuff. thanks in advance for the information and as i am writing this it is already 8-6-2014 ... 11:24PM

omg this is funny as can be lol i busted up laughing so hard .... like that guy pun intended

thats fuuuucking hilarious

Thanks guys! I photoshoped it myself.

When I first posted this image, two fellow vericoiners had no sense of humor and were disgusted by it. I guess they feel that gay sex is vulgar or something. But sex is a natural thing, even between two men. And there's no nudity.
Thankfully everyone else loved it.

btminer8 gave me the grumpy:

"Please gtfo. Vericoin doesn't deserve a community like this."

BitcoinPorn insultingly gave me this Aspergers reply (I bolded some things Tongue):

"I'll add you to ignore as well (which I never though I'd do for a VRC supporter), I hope you grow/mature.  Seeing your post history, you actually referred to people as "aspie"... which I do find the humor in sadly, but overall I can tell you are just young/a kid and into crypto coins, which is cool, but your negativity will not be beneficial to you, just letting you know the facts/math of karma in this world.   Again though, you seem to be a kid, this will probably go in one ear out the other, but you can be productive for the coin or be something that will hold Vericoin back, your choice.  Hope you earnestly want the coin to succeed in the end.  Good luck in life."

And he pairs these common terms with a dash like:

"grow/mature"
"young/a kid"
"facts/math"

So I seriously think he has Aspergers, which is starting to look common in the crypto world.

Yes, he has "Porn" in his username with an animation of a guy humping a barcode in his avatar. And I called Smoothie an "aspie" for constantly bringing up Bernanke to attack vrc, that might be offensive to people who have Aspergers, but for BitcoinPorn, he writes "I do find the humor in".  ??  So is it the gay sex then? Although there's no nudity. I personally feel that btctalk.org has some youthful energy, I honestly thought that it was okay to post it. But some people are just not happy. BitcoinPorn really put me on ignore.  Cheesy

well you can please the whole world not even a 10th of it so dont loose sleep over it lol
i forgot who created it this i got a question for them or if anyone can answer where is this movie scene from what movie name thanks and lol its funny as hell

I'm not in VRC, but did see this cool image on twitter today.

now this is so close to the truth for some people, they give up right before hitting the jackpot while other just keep the faith and keep going, but most important never invest more than you can afford to loose

It looks like Bitrex is driving the sell off again.  I don't understand.  VRC seems healthy and active. Who is selling and why?  I'm trying to hold the line at 15k if anyone has any bullets left.
i dont know someone might be needing to pay rent on the penthouse the way they are selling lol

On 2 th  September here in Germany we have a bitcoin conference and I would like go there and represent VeriCoin. Therefor I will give away about 500 to 700 vrc to people with the Android wallet targeting about 100 people.  I would like to bash everyone there with sending them vrc instantly with a NFC  feature.  Super simple and easy to use.

It would be great if the dev of the Android wallet would say something if he has plan in that direction. And a iPhone wallet would be great until than.

Cheers
Giving away some VRC while at the event should help promote it if enough people notice it or even impress the right person  Smiley

Did people like them?

Plasma couldn't get them to us fast enough for Chicago but I found another place that could. Everyone thinks they are amazing cards so thanks a lot for the suggestion! They look fantastic.
i agree the cards look pretty cool and seem better than regular paper cards  Cool
