1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) = Federal Reserve on: January 02, 2015, 12:05:41 AM
This is exactly what I was talking about, you clearly have a problem with GAW.

All the things you have just mentioned make Paycoin a good option for the masses, because they can understand it and use it in everyday life.
As I said in the previous thread, If you dont believe in the option available then dont invest!

There was absolutely no need to start a new thread for the sole purpose of slagging someone off.

I have an issue with centralization at this point in time.

Just out of curiosity at what point would you not have an issue with centralization?

I will not have an issue with it when it makes sense and it desires to go the long haul.

This quick and easy stuff is for boys that can't control themselves if you know what I mean.

IF they in it for long haul and good causes and not just empty promises i would be ok with it as well
1243  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: January 01, 2015, 10:29:29 PM
Mining's really in some way a bet on difficulty - those who bought in at the IPO would have very well in BTC terms as the difficulty was relatively stable the last few adjustments.

USD / BTC seems to hold pretty firm at 300 USD which provides a ceiling on the maintenance fee in BTC terms, but difficulty seems to be shooting up again.  Having really follow mining closely any more - someone released new chips?  new ASIC?
lets hope for btc to go up to and hold at $400 - $450 price range would be awesome

1245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 01, 2015, 09:47:29 PM
I am not an expert...
But maintenance fee at umisoo for S2 is $3.60 a day.

With the actual difficulty the earnings of 1 TH is $3.90 a day.
With the next (estimated +11.9%) difficulty: $3.49.

Where does my math go wrong?

Its actually 2.2896 a day per 1 TH S2 in maintenance fees. Bitmain lowered the maintenance fees when they merged all their sites.
when did they lower the fees ?
1246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 01, 2015, 09:45:26 PM
It seems this badly marketed and poorly communicated New years offer caused panic between hashnest users...(they should at least send some email to existing users)

Claim that S2 wil go unprofitable when difficulty grows 8% is wrong. Even at 30% diff growth the S2 would be still profitable at BTC/USD rate 300...edit: it depends on electricity price and I am calculating with maintenance fees umisoo is currently charging for S2

As for amhash vs. hashnest, ROI at amhash is currently 160 days vs 105 days at umisoo (at 0.0005).
If we calculate 15% diff. growth next 30 days the ROI would fall to 210 vs 170 days.

Amhash advantage are lower maintenance fees which make him less vulnerable to BTC price drops. But I suspect that new umisoo farm is made from newer machines and hashnest will have place to lower the fees if the difficulty grows too fast.

I think this hashnest offer was just badly priced and communicated. Chinese guys have still long route to improve marketing skills despite being very good at technical skills.

this is well said i could not have said this better myself, well i am sure i would have botched it up lol

Hashnest.com is based on real mining rig and actual output. New mining farm is being built.

1249  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 01, 2015, 06:06:37 PM
Are the fees for S2 and S3 cloud miners the same as for UMISOO?
Any chance of getting an adjustable auto buy option to reinvest a certain amount of earnings into buy orders at the lowest sell price/certain sell price?
Any option of ordering hosted hashing power using a credit card?

umisoo and s2 have same fees %60 fee/earning
s3 %50 fee/earning
there is an option on setting just as you mentioned auto buy adjustable
you cant even buy with usd directly on hashnest
but you can buy from cex with credit card send btcs to here then invest.

well the buy with credit card option is only for people from certain countries. I know me in the USA cant use credit card or debit cards for cex money transfers despite my account is verified for like like 6 months. I can only do bank wire transfers $300 minimal and i pay $40 wire fee also LOL
1250  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 01, 2015, 06:01:21 PM
Are these whales posting these 0.0005 prices again or is it bitmain? To see 3 over 100 btc transaction around the 0.0005 mark makes me wonder.
yeah i was wondering this my self if it was a whale or the company. Then a few post back someone i assume from the company said they was doing the sale. I think maybe they selling to get capital to upgrade more farm capacity?

1254  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody here uses Shift or Xapo debit card? on: January 01, 2015, 05:35:38 PM
I don't really like Xapo Debit card. It seems a bad choice for me. I suggest ANX Debit card now. Their support is great and their service too.

There is 2 offers though I don't whether it is expired or not. Get A FREE ANX Premium Debit Card Now! and Get a $1000USD Grand Prize from ANX

   ~~MZ~~
i seen anx card but the fees for each use do not seem good , i like no monthly fee but come on $1.25 for each transaction purchase at store is something else. Even prepaid normal visa or mastercards are not raping people like this.

Hi DARKANGEL6415,

I am not sure where you read that about the fees on our card. There is no POS purchase free on any of our cards.
For our ANX Premium Card, the only fee there is is when you withdraw from an ATM.
https://anxbtc.com/pages/#/card-compare

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Have a Happy New Year.
i am really glad you on here i wont ask private question i will just put it on here. So the card from ANX from what i seen has no fees except to take out money at atms is this correct. All purchases from online stores like amazon or at local stores like walmart or gas stations will NOT have any fees correct. There is also no cost to load the card is this also correct? If all the following are correct how does ANX make money to keep going? Also are the cards a visa or master card logo. In the mean time while this is answered i am trying to find where i seen fee comparison between Xapo and ANX. Also forgot to ask does the ANX cards ship to people in the usa and how long does it take and does the card come in our personal names? Is this card also allow you to spend in real time like Xapo card where it auto sells or do we have to do the work and how do we deposit into it cash, bitcoins other alt coins?

1. It is correct, there are no fees on the ANX Premium card, except for ATM withdrawals.
2. There are no fees on any POS/Online Purchases.
3. There are no card loading fees.
4. We aren't telling you Tongue
5. I believe that the ANX Premium card is a Mastercard card, but I am not 100% sure.
6. Yes, we ship our cards worldwide.
7. No, the card will only have "ANX" printed on it as its name.
8. Our card currently doesn't support the Xapo functionality to auto sell on purchase.
9. You can deposit Bitcoins onto your ANX account, and then load it onto your card. The bitcoins will be exchanged into USD and then stored on your card.

ok here is where i had seen about the fees for ANX card i made this in seperate " reply " so my above post still gets answered. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ken-lo-ceo-anx-hong-kong-bitcoin-exchange-talks-bitcoin-debit-cards/
also here is the ones for xapo http://www.coindesk.com/xapo-faces-online-backlash-debit-card-fees/  thanks you i dont want to put anyone on the spot light i just want clear answer. Also what kind of regulation and protection do you all have for USA, thanks for answers and happy new year  Smiley

That article is very old. You can find a new table with our current fees here.
For protection, your card comes with a PIN. I'm not sure how stuff like this works in the USA, but here in Europe you have to put in your PIN on every POS purchase.
perfect thank you for answering my questions. I am a little bit concerend as to the card not having a name on it is there a reason for this. I travel alot and use hotel services and fly alot / rent cars. How will i be able to use this card to book a hotel, get a plane ticket, or rent a car if there is no name on t they can match to my ID? I open account just now and submit verification after reading this answers and got message saying they will send me a code by mail? Is this mail coming from the USA or is it from somewhere else where we have to wait long time. I also see they offer free card if account is verified by January 31st 2015 but i see it only applies to the card that holds funds in HKD that would charge me $30 to use the ATM lol. Is there any was to get the Premium card without paying high shipping fees and what is the delivery speed between registered mail and expedited mail to the USA

1. I don't think there would be any problem with that.
2. It comes from our offices in Hong Kong, but the delivery speed is very quick. It should take less than a week.
3. I would suggest to simply get the HKD card and upgrade the shipping to get the ANX Premium card. You can also just get the ANX Premium card, load 0.9BTC, and we will give you the card cost back.
ok i will see what i can figure out cause noway i am dropping $300 0.9btc into something i have not tried out yet or see how will work for things like hotel rentals or airplane tickets.
1255  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is Xapo a scam?? on: January 01, 2015, 05:30:16 PM
Xapo its working great for me so far. The problem you describe is when you have less than 10.000 Bits in your account. They requested this as way to ensure that the miner fees are covered when you transfer to the blockchain.

They are not a scam, actually they are one of the most well funded Bitcoin startups in the Sillicon Valley. Way more secure and more reputable than  Blockchain or the cocky asses of Coinbase.

Larson
Newb with one post.
I also want the card and was super bummed when i found out after signing up that they don't send to USA Sad
also i had no issues withdrawing 50k satoshis this morning

Our team here responsible for things like Compliance and Legal matters are hard at work getting past any red tape that is currently preventing the cards from being mailed to USA addresses. As you would expect, this is a top priority.
Hello Xapo!
LOL newb with one post ...... priceless i always do love it when its the new people with 1 post that talk bad about others

Paycoin faithful: Never fear, Meganet is here!

http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/ab338/JaggedSteel1/MeganetRayguns_zpsbfb8bda2.jpg

"Do you sell TVs?" Uh, no, moron. They sell bomb jamming and cell phone hacking equipment to people like Blackwater.

http://meganet.com/

But they do have 1 GB USB drives for $30. These are the only items that I have seen in the whole meganet store that do not require being U.S Government (or presumably civilian contractors) to purchase.

http://i877.photobucket.com/albums/ab338/JaggedSteel1/MeganetRayguns2_zps22fa6ffd.jpg

Get em while they're hot morons! Your $20 Paycoins are honored here! LMFAO!

This is obviously some sort of desperate measure to save some of the $250,000 investment that the Meganet CEO stated they had in Paycoin.

Also: I know typos happen, but right on the front page?? And for what product? Why secure information encryption technology - of course!!

Paybase - is it legit

By kns2c, 2 days ago   Permalink  Report abuse
I'm trying to figure out if this site offering 10% off amazon purchases is legit. It looks very dodgy to me but I'd like to get other opinions.

https://paybase.com/faq.html

Basically it looks like they would make you install a browser plug in that would inject itself into Amazon's checkout process. For example this part is very worrying and I can't see how Amazon would tolerate it: "Where will my order come from? We fulfill your order from the lowest cost vendor or retailer. This means that if you place an order using the PaySave button on Macy's, it may come in a box from Walmart, or vice versa."

The front page is offering 10% discount the https://paybase.com/index.html "The power of a bank in your wallet. Save 10% at Amazon, Target & more with PaySave".

Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi! We can't guarantee if this is safe to use since it is not one of our services. I recommend contacting Paybase's Customer Service if you have questions regarding their service.

Thank you.

1258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 01, 2015, 07:30:19 AM
I hate to admit it but this has gone badly, I was one of the few lucky ones who did snap up the $20.06 on offer through pay base, however I was stupid enough to reinvest. I am closing out the position and will still get an average price of $15. However I am now seeing this for what it is and that is just another alt coin, everything you can do in Pay Base once on line I can already do in one format or another here in Australia with BTC.

As for the hash stakers all of mine were converted hashlets as there was no point in keeping an investment that was never going to win, the premier account doesn't do anything for me as I am in Australia and most of the features will be US based, as Josh is trying to ensure everything he does is within the law only US citizens will be able to get a debit card.

Hashstakers are already a dead investment, if you bought a staker you have no chance of a ROI at $9.00 per coin. The converted ones will only miss the opportunity to sell their coins as the market is dying.

With only 1.4 million dollars in trade yesterday Josh should of been able to keep a $20 floor in place but chose not to, in fact had of Josh put and kept a $20 floor in place the markets would now be trading at around the same level.

So I now find myself asking what has happened to the supposed 100 million fiat, and the 10 million in BTC mined (as stated in the WJS article), the 10 million in BTC alone should have held a floor price.

I have been a semi supporter of GAW but now find the lies are to far fetched for me, I actually think LTC gear has more chance of paying me this week then I have in seeing the $20 floor price again.

So I must say I now think that most people here are right and I was probably wrong.

I'm in agreement here.  The floor problem bothers me the most.

Floor? You mean this floor bothers you?

Looks fine to me. I think you should send more money to Josh because he is a real swell guy.

Oh, and the real XPY floor does not actually have a cool slide like that. You just plummet down and go splat.
dam i was really wanting the slide seemed so cool
1259  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: January 01, 2015, 07:29:06 AM
This Paycoin has been pronounced dead more often than Dick Fucking Cheney

and still it lives.

So paycoin is a success, by your standards?

I have no idea, to be honest.

Well, to be fair, nobody is pronouncing paycoin "dead." Just doomed. And scammy. But some scams can last a long time before they implode.

Not this one, though, at least not the way it's looking right now. Josh seems to have screwed it up royally.

Well, I only check this thread out because I was in GAW but left

in October when their previously lucrative mining suddenly turned

to manure. But I got out OK. Can´t really complain.
you got so lucky then like you said all went to shit afterwards sadly
