How much did your primes go for eightcylinders?

wait--so can you really sell your primes for $40 minus what you have earned with no wait and no difficulties? (other than being unable to withdraw BTC ATM =/)

Anyone who bought at $16 now gets a 250% payout?

Yes, I got out completely.  Over 400 mhs sold and cashed out in transferred BTC almost immediately after I saw the announcement.

I did not pay much attention to how much ROI I did or did not receive and mostly it could not be calculated anyway.

Most of my primes were converted from gridseed units that I bought for much more than $20 per mhs.  I also had a good number of GAW/Zeus miners that I converted.  I bought others for $16 when they were offered originally (on the first day in fact).  I received between $20-29 per mhs but I have zero idea how they calculated my "earnings".  There is not enough info in the account info area to be able to tell what my ROI is without a LOT of work, and some of the miners I converted I paid $40 per mhs for.

I am sure I ROI'd however I am equally certain I did not get 250% ROI on average.  Probably a pretty decent ROI in any case.  I am more convinced than ever that zencloud is a ponzi though, that is why I am getting out now.  I am equally sure that GAW will throw something attractive out there next.  They will need new infusions of BTC to keep the system going.

I am also 100% certain I would have made more money if GAW had allowed primes to be sold - I had many offers above 26 per mhs before the sales were banned. I think GAW had to shut that down because why would anyone pay $49 when they could get them on the market for $26-30?

Anyway, this Prime saga is now mostly over for me.  I have been buying up cheap multihash hashlets because I am gambling that GAW will upgrade them (and so far the other hashlets are saleable on the market).

lol so you glad you got out of the ponzi scheme but you are now buying cheap multi hashlets. did i miss something not being a dick so please noone get pms troll on me nothing worse than a pms troll bitching lol

i will laugh if the 2 above posts did sell into each other weird coinsidence. I really wish they had a option where a buyer can create a listing of how much they are willing to pay and if a seller want to sell quickly atleast knows what price will sell fast. Kinda like cex.io trading platform that would be nice.

That whole hashtalk forum is a cesspool of hate and anger at the moment.

If you aren't attacking Josh and company you will get downvoted hard.  The place is full of anger bitter teenage virgins all angry after the weekend of no sex again and gunning hard for confrontation...but hide behind their downvotes lol

Its really pathetic in there today.

LOL teen virgins i dont know if you just saying that or that was your teenage years, but i sure was never angry over that issue. Hell now that im married and have " open " fun marriage i still got more fun back then. I really hope you are wrong though about angry bitter people i personally dont use ht

FWIW I have achieved ~105% ROI on LTC Gear after 6 weekly payouts. I'm still 90% sure they are a ponzi-like structure, but someone in this thread asked a while ago about the LTC Gear ROI, so here it is. It's interesting though that they are still selling at the same USD price as ~2 months ago (even the coupon that was supposed to expire is still valid) but the old shares have been multiplied so are actually earning MORE than the new shares,  which are more expensive in BTC/LTC now due to exchange rates. In other words ROI is getting worse for new purchases I think.

Sorry for offtopic, feel free to downvote me.
i am down voting you to hell lol jk but i might check them out, you know if some site said we are a ponzi scheme how lucky do you feel then i would still do it since im a gambling man. At least i know to set my expectations to 0 and anything above that is good news lol  Cool

true, but i think he moved to asics, he gets them made in china, im sure i read a post bout it here or the ltctalk

Here's the issue I'm having with hating GAWMiners though...

GAWMiners owns the majority of ZeusMiner and ZeusMiner makes some of the most cost effective and profitable SCRYPT Based ASiC(s) currently available.

So should everyone stop purchasing one of the most cost effective SCRYPT ASiC(s) simply because GAWMiners owns the majority in the company.

It's like saying Ohh I don't like Bill Gates so I'm not gonna ever use a Windows Operating System.
its funny you say this because i actually said screw bill gates and said im not going to use windows or the products they made. Well kinda failed on me cause i love my xbox 360 and xbox one then company i work for issuing new phone upgrades and options was iphone or windows based phone on 1st come basis so now i have windows phone. So i still hate bill gates since i think he can do so many things better but dont just for profit so im back to windows. Besides it is easier to watch porn on windows devices LOL  Tongue

Don't pay attention to Mr. Crazy there. Made up shit like the highlighted phrase is his signature MO. GAW owns Zeus? Purchased with Hashpoints probably?
LOL good stuff hey im glad you said something about hashpoints how do you use them? I see no option in my dashboard do i need to have so many to use them or do i need a certain hashlet to use them

so i am going to ask a question in general since i mostly post on these forums. I would like to know everyone opinion " with out the troll or negative unfounded answers " what do you all think is going on with bitcoin. Seems like it has been dropping like crazy i mean we not near any holidays or anything like that so what do you all think. Once again please no troll answers or people mad who bought btc at like $600  and now it has dropped.

thanks  Smiley   Huh

Several reasons for the drop:
1. Panic induced by a whale selling since the beginning of September. (regular dumps of ~1000BTC between 5 and 8 UTC on bitstamp).
2. The innitial sales broke below $340 which was the old bottom and caused even more people to bail out.
3. There was a bearish trend since the double top at $660 (stamp price) in July, which only maade things easier for the dumpers.
4. Some sad whale tried to manipulate the price by moving a $30k sell wall on stamp. Just a few hours ago the wall was eaten and we came back up over $300, which is bullish.

regular dumps of 1000 btc dam that must be nice i wish i had 100 to dump... who am i kidding i will prob hold them lol to a brighter future of over $5000.00 a coin  Smiley

1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: GAWMiner Hashlet Discussion Thread on: October 06, 2014, 05:11:21 AM
As more merchants adopt it the price will go down. This is because now there is more places to spend bitcoins, those merchants are using services like coinbase or bitpay that take those bitcoins and then resell them for cash on exchanges like bitstamp thus lower the price of bitcoin.

Bitcoin price probably wont go up again until there is more consumer for demand for the coin or until these business can start paying their suppliers in bitcoin and thus less will be converted to cash on exchanges.

The price lowering is further fueled by large scale miners. As each bitcoin becomes worth less the miners have to sell more and more of their coins everyday to cover their operating costs, once again further lowering the price of bitcoin.
so let me get this straight bitcoin is trying to get accepted world wide for different reasons but mostly get away from fiat. Am i good so far? ok so now the more this dream comes true and more and more large merchants accept it the lower the price " may " go. If that is the case i really hope places like walmart accept bitcoin lol .... just my 2 cents ... now if those merchants learn to hold and not sell asap then it might be good  Grin

Well, we've seen it drop from $30 to $2, and we've seen it drop from $266 to $38.  Now we're seeing it drop from $1200 to somewhere under $300.  I'm not sure there's any 'reason' for it beyond human psychology.
i dont recall that second drop of almost $230 that is insance but good to see it recovered. I wonder what led it to the $1200 price range it did in the past. I think i will hold though i recall the $30 to $2.00 drop i had bought at double digits and had gotten alot of free coin but  isold it all at super single digit price. Fear did me in before i will just keep my btc and see what it does in future i dont have more than i can afford to loose 100%  Cool

Companies like bitmain and other cloud hashing companies that sell btc to pay energy are a big reason the price will continue down. Until some go out of business, or get more efficient, that 70% fee is our btc being sold into the market at whatever price they get. The % we get will continue to decline until some of these cloud hasing companies go out of business I fear.

The antminers have become significantly less profitable in the past few days alone. The less profitable the UMISOO is, the more it makes the problem with the bitcoin price decline worse. Every time we lose a %, that is 1% more being converted you CNY to pay electric.

Either a huge new set of buyers has to come in and sustain buying, or the price will drop significantly from here until it weeds out higher power cost miners to incentivize people to buy bitcoins again over mining them.
makes sense maybe this cloud companies need to learn the finer points of setting sell orders above the buy price. I wonder if it becomes to unprofitable what difficulty will drop to as i am sure wont continue to grow or if it does will be slower pace. I think after you explained it the cycle will go down till people come out of bitcoin mining letting difficulty then drop, then you know people will jump back in lol.
