2161  Economy / Reputation / Re: I've been hacked (Electrum 4.3.2) on: January 10, 2023, 07:36:27 AM
Not a very good start to the year, julerz12; I'm really sorry for you. I'm a parent too, and I can very well understand all your concerns about providing for a family.
But everything that has happened has already happened. Someone rightly said that you need to sit in a chair and collect your thoughts.
To proceed, one must be certain that this will not happen again in the future. Are you sure that you are an experienced Windows user? In any case, ask and think.
Are you using licensed Windows? How long have you had it? Do you allow the system to be updated regularly? Do you use your computer for anything other than work-related Internet browsing? Check everything: what browsers are worth, whether there is access to mail, and opening other people's letters. Such viruses are now being written that even Windows Defender does not recognize them as viruses. Remote Desktop, which might be named for another completely harmless process, could regularly monitor all of your activities. We just need to find the problem now.
Flash drives—are they all healthy?
In any case, I wish you strength. May your children always be proud of the honesty and correctness of their father.
2162  Other / Meta / Re: BAN APPEAL on: January 09, 2023, 12:11:34 PM

Sorry, just didn't know,

Are you really stupid or what? You were banned yesterday for having multiple accounts; today you register a new account and copy someone else's article.
I feel sorry for you; the best way out is for you to completely forget about this forum. People like you don't change.
I reported the plagiarism, mate.  https://loyce.club/archive/posts/6156/61565819.html
2163  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcointalk is the best forum on: January 09, 2023, 11:55:57 AM

What this forum needs most is investing.

Buddy, come on, poke me with your nose, where and when did this forum need investments Shocked Shocked Shocked? Where did you get it from? If the forum covers information about Bitcoin, then it does not require at all, and even more, so does not need anything. Therefore, be kind enough to ask for the correct information so as not to mislead normal beginners.
The forum is self-sufficient, everyone here is free to express their point of view, but it is desirable that this point be reasonable.

2166  Economy / Reputation / Re: Please save me. I can't anymore. on: January 08, 2023, 01:41:46 PM
Friends, I'm wondering if anyone who recently unsubscribed or is just about to give instructions to the OP noticed his trust and the last date of his visit to the forum.
I'm willing to bet that the OP created three more accounts and stopped visiting this thread a long time ago. So you are all talking to the wall.
I asked the moderators to close the topic, but they did not agree, apparently hoping that the OP was still suffering and would read educational lectures.

Maybe someone else will help with a request to close the topic to avoid the growth of the mega-stream?
2167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Announce your first Bitcoin purchase, Bitcoin acceptance for your business here on: January 08, 2023, 01:27:35 PM

Many topic .......I am very smart! I collect links everywhere!

Do you honestly believe that someone will look through your directory to see how and who received their first bitcoin or uses it as a payment method?IMHO, but I'm interested in reading this at a time when it's relevant. Someone opened their own salon, someone teaches the basics of bitcoin in the church, and someone else added bonuses for going to the salon. It's all interesting once, so I don't think it needs to be cataloged. Unless someone does not understand, how are such subjects created? Let people grow, at least even using fantasy; they should do something on their own and not rewrite others' links, implying orderliness on the forum. The same fishing merits. Just don't interfere with each other.

You created a thread about your 2022 work and you locked it: BlackBoss_ Works. What if other people too started to create their 2022 topics, is it going to be fine?

If you do not want things like that, why are you not following yourself as an example.

I agree with you, @_act_, that all these "helpful" links look very fake.
2168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there truly crypto whales and what are your takes on them? on: January 08, 2023, 11:00:19 AM
You didn't give details about your brother's deception. If he assisted in trade, doesn't that imply he was a member of the team in some capacity, which suggests he was aware of what he was doing? I don't think that for $2,000, Binance will help. These are huge sums for you, but not for the exchange. When contacting crypto, a person must understand all the risks, whether he trades incorrectly or stores his seed phrases incorrectly.
As for your questions, I don’t know the reasons that could prohibit a person from having large amounts of bitcoin; this is probably how he ensures his business, and indeed, only the owner can know why he needs such large amounts. Similarly, I do not see any consequences; if a person does not violate any laws, why should he be afraid of someone? Of course, he is not obliged to talk about how much and why he needs bitcoins. This is his right to privacy.
2169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can newbies know when it's a good track of conversation on: January 08, 2023, 08:47:50 AM
Is this the first forum you have registered with? If not, why are you asking? All forums are intended for communication and discussion of common interests. If you purposefully decided to learn about bitcoin, to study all its subtleties, you should not worry about such trifles that excite you. Take a walk around the forum, decide what you are interested in, or maybe not clear, and feel free to write. Don't think of a forum as a place with very strict rules and an unfriendly community. On the contrary, by communicating here, you will find out how open, and ready to help your people will be glad to have your presence.
Just be yourself, don't play the role of someone you are not.
2170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get a hardware wallet in a bitcoin banned country? on: January 07, 2023, 11:08:19 AM
Do you use centralized exchanges, don't they ask you to pass KYC?
I followed your posts earlier, remember why you don't ask your local section?

I am trying my best to act like myself. Although we live in the Indian subcontinent, it is not covered by modern technology based living. So we are living life adapting ourselves with great struggle.

I doubt that no one uses hardware wallets.

And besides, why are you ignoring Electrum? For those who do not have a huge amount of their assets, this wallet is especially convenient, in particular for your country.
2171  Other / Meta / Re: Merry Christmas to the Forum on: January 07, 2023, 09:00:20 AM
Merry Christmas! Today is Christian Christmas, as GazetaBitcoin explained earlier.
Happy Holidays to all Orthodox Christians and all forum participants. Health and peace to all.

Happy New year to you all ! I am relatively new to the forum and still in low ranks. Hope to learn and make big progress in the forum in the new year. To be honest, I just don't know if I can acquire higher ranks if nobody recognizes my effort and dedication. Well, wish me good luck. Smiley

You will definitely prove yourself; you just need not give up; your efforts will certainly be accepted by the community; and there is no need to lose heart; if you are worthy, then you will definitely receive your rewards.
In the meantime, let's be kind to everyone and respectful of all religions.
2172  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know what is the use of rewards, and since when rewards are given to m on: January 07, 2023, 05:24:52 AM
OP, you just need to stay on the forum. If you are interested in bitcoin, and you can understand that this is why you came to the forum, then start studying it deeper. Even despite your age, which in the next topic confuses you so much, by discussing issues of interest to you, you will certainly receive several merits if your questions are urgent and will not carry the goal of obtaining these merits. Having risen in the rank, you will receive the privileges of participating in subscription companies, which can also be material support for you in some sense, but you should always understand that everything takes time, and as an adult man, I think you understand this very well.
Stay with us.
2173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Deposit as an Act of Giving: Judge Rules Celsius Customers Don't Own their Money on: January 07, 2023, 05:05:43 AM
As a rule, they write their agreements in very small print, which in most cases leads to the fact that customers simply do not tire their eyes and may not see conditions that might not suit them. On the contrary, the entire wrapper of the project is drawn up in a large and colorful color, which completely discourages the desire to think about all the shortcomings, creating the illusion of success and popularity.
The problem is that most clients are not legally educated and do not understand all the risks of investing in various kinds of platforms, but the advertising noise that the Celsius platform has also dealt with makes them take risks, hoping for quick pluses, which in the end, as usual, led to their own problems.
2174  Other / Meta / Re: What one change would you like to see in bitcointalk in 2023 on: January 06, 2023, 12:58:22 PM
A nice change would be to limit the number of accounts allowed. Can understand the need to create an alternate account for your other device, but creating a bunch of alternate accounts clearly hints at the bad activity. In addition, a false impression is created about the number of people registering on the forum; you can probably divide this number by half, if not by three. Smiley
2175  Other / Meta / Re: This forum will need explicit rules on the use of AI. on: January 06, 2023, 10:14:25 AM

I might get duped once or twice into believing an AI post came from a real person, but there is no way I would become interested in reading an AI's dull, generic drivel. Least of all, would I befriend it.

If you can really parse human bullshit from AI bullshit, do you think all the posts on this account are human? Sometimes it seems to me that AI can write more reasonable posts, but in this case, I doubt who is who. When I read his posts, I involuntarily begin to yawn. In addition to the fact that this account writes two or three posts in a row, the meaning of his posts also makes you think about a very bad software bot.

Thanks for the link. I checked the post. So it turns out that this account is an AI.

Campaign managers: Use this tool to detect AI-generated text: https://huggingface.co/openai-detector. I recommend considering anything with a score of 90%+ as AI-generated.

Crypto has been a popular life changing qualified forum that everyone is expected to make money and leave a good life, I suggest the first thing you do as newbie is for you to always keep to bitcointalk rules and regulations everyday, and do not make mistakes in your post or posting things that we results to your account damage, 2023 is a year of new beginning, and how the year will end is also in your hand too, what really matters is your hard work and time, and this is for your own benefits, and attract your own strategies, to enable you to be a winner with a difference, there are no lost in bitcointalk but a permanent wisdom forever.

2176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving customized Bitcoin-themed Gifts to my clients on: January 06, 2023, 08:13:51 AM
You are giving gifts as locks to your clients and on locks, there are some messages with Bitcoin icon and HODL. It is good but I think those printed texts and icon will be blurred after using a few months. It depends on quality of printing too but in general it won't last forever. Furthermore, not all of your clients will use those locks every day.

If I understand correctly, the OP presents gifts, namely bottles of ordinary water, the difference between which is the bitcoin logo and the company name. Why would people keep such bottles for months? Or maybe in your country, such bottles are not disposable? Grin
OP, I would definitely go to your salon, I think it's fascinating.

@SatoPrincess, why open a new topic when this is just a continuation of what you posted a few days ago? Will you open a new topic every time you add something new to your business?

It seems to me that he plans to create similar topics until his rank rises to legendary. Smiley
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LastPass data breach caused $53K in Bitcoin stolen, lawsuit alleges on: January 06, 2023, 08:03:21 AM
To store such an amount by trusting a third-party application is completely absurd. Even for such a sum, LastPass itself could come up with a legend about a leak or a hack. Quite suspiciously, LastPass is said to have warned customers about the hack, but the person who filed the lawsuit against LastPass failed to prevent the theft. There have also been accusations that LastPass issued this warning quite late, while the developers were trying to understand the magnitude of the disaster. But, again, third-party applications can monitor all the saves that customers make, make thefts, and subsequently attribute this to hackers, bandits, UFOs, and other entities.
How can you have such a sum and not have a sound mind to entrust your money to a stranger?
2178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to memorize seed phrase? on: January 06, 2023, 06:52:47 AM
People are very often afraid of what, in principle, cannot happen. Keeping your seed phrases in different places will give you some peace of mind. For example, I would be very worried if I had a lot of money in my wallet, but even in this case, having good money, you can buy a fireproof safe. Someone wondered how people who have millions on their account store their seed phrases. But I often see the opposite, panic is created by those who probably have a couple of hundreds in stock, and they worry about their seed phrase like a chicken about an egg.
2179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you found others' keys? on: January 05, 2023, 02:25:18 PM
I would send this amount to some charitable foundation for sick children or children without parents. It's not my fault that the keys that someone lost were found by another person. I doubt the real owner can be found. Too many people will show up. Accordingly, it is considered easy money or someone's alms. Therefore, alms should be given to those in need. If you leave yourself such amounts, you can expect trouble. In my opinion, it was a fair decision. Cheesy
2180  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 05, 2023, 01:42:37 PM
Can you answer a rather strange question? Do you know how long your young colleagues, who told you that you are already too old for Bitcoin, will live? Do they realize that none of us know what will happen tomorrow? So calm these self-confident young men; you may outlive them all. Therefore, boldly invest and do not think about the timing. Bitcoin was created for everyone, and by learning it, you only develop, further improving your brain and body.
In addition, at your age, there are already more opportunities, which cannot be said about young people; there is already accumulated capital, which can many times exceed what young people have. Thus, your output from holding bitcoin will also be greater; you just need to wait for the appointed hour.
