2161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does inflation affects bitcoin? on: February 23, 2023, 11:46:45 PM
Indirectly, yes. Inflation would be felt across countries which would affect how an individual will mke use of his or her funds. If an average employee would suffer from the increase with the daily expenses to live, then how come would he still be able to engage with investments? Therefore demand would be low perhaps in this industry as an example of investment. Why would it be that bad? Most of the people across the globe especially on third world countries are minimum wage earners which makes them the first ones to be affected by any economic problem. This is how I view the situation as having an indirect effect in this industry. Lower demand simply means lower market value.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 23, 2023, 11:26:32 PM
Yep, that's how he evolved after his very first close against Nonito, he has evolved even more after that. He learn how to phase and then read his opponent and even have the mentality to survived a fight eve if he has that injury already.

And we all know after that fight, he beat Donaire by knockout and same with Butler.

So he is still getting stronger and smarter in any fight and keeps on progressing. So for sure he will know a thing or two against Fulton because he is a great fighter. Inoue has that ability to absorb every strengths of his opponents.
Inoue is on his prime and that makes him an incredibly dangerous fighter, not only he has the intelligence and skill to adjust his fighting style, he still has the physical capabilities to absorb a massive amount of damage and do whatever he wants on the ring, so it is not surprising that despite being the challenger the many different boxing fans around the world think of him as the favorite on his fight against Fulton.
And just like what everyone is saying, he managed to differ his fighting style after his fight with Nonito. Definitely a good characteristic for a boxer to have but this won't men an edge to others with a consistent fighting form such as with Ryan Garcia who instill that classic style of him to all of his fights, but that is a different story. In this fight, it is quite obvious that Inoue is having his edge over Fulton. But as we all know, things may still happen inside the square and for sure both boxers are aware of it which pushes them to be more ready before the bell rings.
Yes, but we haven't seen his chin tested early though, it was just Donaire who really broke the barriers literally when he fought Inoue the first time. He broke his orbital bone on that fight, but still Inoue tapping on his mentality to even become stronger in the later rounds even if he has suffered that.

Yup, that was one hell of a punch that Inoue took and yet he survived that one. If only it was not Inoue on the receiver's end of that hook, that fight is over. I agree that Inoue got a granite chin that he couldn't be knockout with a single punch, should be volume if you wanna knock out this monster which is a very tough hill to climb because opponents have to take some punches also before they can hit him hehe.

The only question I have here is if Inoue is capable of bringing his power to the heavier division, this is an acid test for him, and his lucky because passing this test also means winning a title at 122lbs, his first one.

Would be an obvious adjustment to make; weight class is a core category in boxing and other fighting sports. We've seen it with many boxers who either moved up or down on weight class but most of them struggled at first simply because of weight management and heavier punches to be taken perhaps on higher weight class.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos and Tech Devices on: February 23, 2023, 11:04:31 PM
Would it really matter? On a daily gambling routine, a player would choose what's more convenient. Perhaps a gambling site requires HTML5 but the player prefers to play with ease through smart phone. Basically he'd just move to platforms which would be suitable for his gambling habits. This should be likewise with fiat based gambling platforms the only difference is the mode of payment in this industry. We are all different as gamblers; some do prefer just clicking and go;eitherway is just okay. What should matter more is managing the risks in gambling than to put that much of attention to the device. I'm aware that the relationship between device and platform would yield to security of funds as well. But that's how preference just works.
2164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one is easier to make bets on? on: February 23, 2023, 10:31:12 PM
Do sport like football betting and MMA betting carries the same risks or one is more profitable to bet on than the other? Which one is more likely to easily predict than the other? Also, I need a platform where football prediction is certain, is there any of you guys using any reliable platform?
For me yes, especially if this is a comparison between sportsbetting and traditional gambling games. Well, in both categories, luck would serve its role but atleast, in sports betting a bettor could analyze the teams to bet on; their stats, players, previous matches and the likes which could help to lessen the risk of having losing bet. Unlike with traditional gambling games wherein players could only rely on luck such as with slots, dice games and the likes. Card games on the other hand relies on luck obviously and strategies such as bluffing and the likes. Still, I think sportsbetting is a lot easier and also more entertaining to do so especially if you are a bettor who's really into sports.
2165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 23, 2023, 10:07:50 PM
It is one's mindset which eith put him/herself to danger, likewise in gambling. If you are gambling to get rich then for sure you are prone to addiction and that also means, losses. Winning is never certain in this industry. The problem id; many of us were fascinated by the idea that there are really people who managed to win the jackpot but unfortunately, it happens by chance. Much better to play it safely and with restrictions to atleast enjoy playing. Also it would be much better to do so to prevent things on getting worse. Gambling is truely addictive simply because it involves money. This is an enough and obvious reason to atleast be cautious of your gambling habits. If you'd win then that's good, but if you won't, try to ease down and never push through.
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Discussing the upcoming market on: February 22, 2023, 10:58:49 PM
Maybe its quite a lot of potential news that could affect the market.

From major coins of btc, matic, tron, eth, cardano, dogecoin and many more. Also not included are the hypes of new projects which are now relatable to AI due to its chaptgpt trend. I believe you could find more upcoming potential events on icodrops, coindesk and famous platform featuring news.

Also dont forget the bitcoin halving which is roughly less than 2yrs and counting I think.
Definitely the pros of factors affecting the demand. There are many factors which could positively influence a demand but unfortunately, factors as well to pull it down. Simple events, as long as it could affect investor's interest towards this industry, would surely trigger market changes either long run or short price movements. Right now, news regarding adoption and such are the ones we can rely for sudden market price increase aside from the anticipated halving next year. Investing right now, given that there are events that could yield to a positive market behavior, could be an advantage. But since the market itself is full of uncertainties, managing the risks of doing so would be always better.
2167  Economy / Economics / Re: Precisely or erroneous on: February 22, 2023, 10:38:50 PM
I don't know if this is were I can post this fleece,  but if this is not supposed to be here someone should help me moved it to the normal board.
I work in a construction company that construct most of prominent contract for some oil and gas companies but one thing here is that I always find it more difficult to save money in a fiat bank, why because to me is a total waist because it's not giving me any profits. I prefer investing 50% of my monthly salary on bitcoin, mostly now that every body on this forum is holding their coins. I hope what am doing isn't a bad idea for not saving funds?
As long as you can manage the risks involved from doing so, it would be fine. Problem with investment is having limited resources and funds which is why their plans are being altered at some times wherein they are being pushed to sell early which sometimes results to loss. It is also a good thing to invest only half of your savings and not majority of it, in such way you'd still be able to sustain your daily expenses without worrying of suddenly pulling your investment out. Also, that is the downside of saving wherein you are setting aside the potential of making it bigger on a faster manner than to just pile it up until satisfaction. Pros of saving on the other hand is avoiding to deal with risks.
2168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think will happen once Hong Kong legalizes bitcoin? on: February 22, 2023, 10:21:30 PM
There could be an increase with the market price. It will create a wave in the demand given that Hongkong is one of the placed wherein many people are rich which could be huge investors of this blockchain unless this technology has already a bad image on that area.
Hong Kong people have been using Bitcoin for a long time, with a 2021 survey showing that 3.27% of Hong Kong's total population, or 245k, use the cryptocurrency directly and indirectly. However, despite being a country in Asia, Hong Kong, which is dominated by China, has launched the Digital Yuan announced by the China Central Bank in Hong Kong.

I meant it's good news only for them, it doesn't affect Bitcoin and global prices at all. If OP have a dream about big green candles, this news ain't it. Unless all of mainland China take a decision like this, it won't have such an effect.
Why won't it have? Any positive news will have a positive impact with the marjet prices especially if it is regarding adoption of this technology. Try making the past as a basis when countries announced their acceptance of cryptocurrencies as a mode of payment. That is how factors affects a demand.
2169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Make Big Money at the Casino — Without Gambling on: February 22, 2023, 09:48:37 PM
Kidnapping the owner's daughter is something that I can immediately think about because when we kidnap the owner's daughter and can take her heart to love us, there is a possibility that we will be the son-in-law of the casino owner hahaha.

But it will be strange because it is impossible. Moreover, his parents will hire a secret agent to look for where is his daughter. And they can also kill us because we have kidnapped the casino owner's daughter.
It can be possible in movies but never in real life. Who would want to marry a kidnapper? Although they are just forced to do so because of some personal reasons, but still kidnapping is a crime and definitely not the best option to that. The father might have killed the kidnapper first before his daughter will fall in love with the kidnapper.
If you're confident of your looks, being a suitor to the casino owner's daughter would be s better option, like shooting your shot to every rich woman you know; not to limit to individuals related to a casino owner, 'coz for sure there are many rich people outside gambling industry. For me, best way with satirical options mentioned is robbing a casino, just be sure not to get caught 'coz it may take your life with it. Actually I like this thread even if it is not focused in gambling like usual. But atleast it shows the 'crazy' side of a player being frustrated to be rich in gambling industry and without actually playing. Question is, would you really be down to do such things?
2170  Economy / Gambling / Re: What's your favorite sportsbook and why? on: February 22, 2023, 03:20:46 PM
Stake. Not to be biased but they really are offering good service to their players. Well, you'd sometimes see complaints towarda it but most of the time there are no proofs for their acusations. Also, problems are being discussed on their thread especially if it is proven legitimate and as far as I know, they are quickly reaponding to it with a solution. Also, it won't be reputable if there are issues often. So I think it would be okay sharing it to other gamblers out there. I am still playing at other gambling sites for other sort of gambling games. Also, I am not saying that I'd stay on their platform forever. Ofcourse if there's something better you are free to do so.
2171  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best crypto casino for Netherlands? on: February 22, 2023, 02:51:03 PM
Weird that a country which doesn't ban drugs actually bans gambling. Coming to your query, I checked some sites that I regularly play at and observed that none of them allow gamblers from Netherlands.

Do not submit fake KYC and always clarify all your doubts with customer support in any site before deciding to invest op.
Netherlands government is actually making the gambling laws more tight that they have to prevent gamblers from playing in casinos who have no Dutch license. So imagine how hard for those gamblers who are living in Netherlands and unluckily, most of the trusted casinos are also not accepting gamblers from Netherlands. However, faking KYC is not the solution, you are just making the scenario worst especially if you eventually win big amount. Always ask the customer support first and be honest that you are from Netherlands before you decide to take the risk with gambling.

Yes, of course, these strictures force people to look for an alternative in an online casino without the need for KYC, but this is also used by scammers who create online gambling decentralized platforms that do not have a license, and if you consider that OP is interested in amounts over $ 10k, then this is associated with a huge risk of losing funds.
Well, it is just a matter of choosing the right one; reputaion and credibility of a gambling platform for sure are top things to consider when finding a platform. Not all casinos without KYC would have a tendency to steal your funds. Actually I do take those who does, as more concerned with their olayers. KYC would limit the chances of easily withdrawing funds from your account so atleast that would give a harder time for those who are hacking accounts. Another thing is limiting underaged gamblers because they are more prone to addiction not to mention their sustainability of funds. So I am not totally against it, unless the activity itself is prohibited in your country.
2172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 22, 2023, 01:58:22 PM
In a business? I guess this would only be sustainable to businesses which are offering services and not products and such. If the service business would only require skill, then it would be sustainable in a sense that the owner of that particular business won't be needing money to maintain the business which will keep him safe from the burden unlike with those who offers products which will need to circulate the funds earned from payments in order to keep it alive. This has something to do with market price volatility wherein there will be time prices would decline and those are also times converting won't be a good option. Not unless your needs in that business would be payable as crypto as well.
2173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin and no downtime till now in 11 years on: February 21, 2023, 10:48:58 PM
Good to see LTC still in this market rising and growing, its good that we talked about this coin now since I’m planning to increase my holdings as the halving is about to come which for sure the price will pump again.

This is a good technology of POW and many still want to use this network. LTC have to be more active though and hopefully it will be back in the top 10 with regards to marketcap.
It encountered many issues in the past but is still in this industry at the present. One of the stable coins I guess, for some reasons. Litecoin is a good choice if you are into a more stable asset. During pumps it has a decent rate of increase and low decline during bearish market. In terms of payment method, well LTC is also a good choice and is running on a large chain across different projects. But to compare it with Bitcoin I guess is different. Bitcoin would be a better investment or asset over it if you are into more obvious growth in terms of market price. Would be between investor's preferences whether stability is more chosen.
2174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful Many New Tokens on Coinmarketcap are on: February 21, 2023, 10:33:39 PM
Had no problems with it. Happens to other exchanges as well if I'm not mistaken. Would only be a problem if you'd engage into those tokens without checking how secure it is. We are all free to invest on which token we are interested with but let us be responsible on our choices. Choosing tokens without checking for the risks involved is one's negligence. This is why prior knowledge on what you are engaging yourself into, is necessary.
CMC are always have easier listing method compared with exchange listing in general. mainly because the fact that they want to add as much coins in their database as they can.
it's really different if you compare it with exchange listing in general that require more complicated processes and very few could get through, therefore you should be more careful selecting coins in CMC as your next investments.
the thing is, many shitcoin already considers being listed in CMC as somewhat an achievement which is quite funny if you think about it.
meanwhile high quality coin strive to get listed in famous exchange for the sake of increasing liquidity that is rather more essential.
Indeed a lot easier than with other exchangers. Most of the time centralised exchangers are the ones having a more difficult method of listing which provides more security with tokens but also has bigger transaction fees.
2175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: February 21, 2023, 10:11:33 PM
Depends on what kind of an investor you are. If you are into long term investment then go with top 10names in this industry because those cryptocurrencies are the ones having sustainable market prices through ups and sumps which would make less of risk compared to others as an asset. If you are into short term, altcoins would be an option as well as new project tokens because if you would make the right choice, bigger profit will be earned since smaller tokens has higher rate of increase during bullish trend. Problem is choosing the right one which won't be that easy. Luck would be a factor aside from technical analysis and token potential.
2176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If There Is A Ban on: February 21, 2023, 09:49:55 PM
We all agree we're living in a crazy world and what's far worse is that it is managed by a bunch of clowns..
So, let's think wildly, one day US were to further increase the censorship just like some of the other countries in the world, they ban bitcoin, they ban VPN, they pass legislation for those who mine/trade/spend btc will be sent to jail.
(Let's not say it's not going to happen. It can! You never know just like you would never have known that there's a war in 2022.)

Other countries start to follow.

Where will you be and what kind of life will it be and how is it going to impact yours?

Go find a job then. This is the problem; many people in this industry are way too dependent with the profit they are getting from this industry. To make a living, one needs a stable income which is why a decent job is still necessary. There are issues present still in this industry which should be an enough caution to investors. But it would be worse if the only thing you would do is to focus in this industry; there'd still life outside. If ever this blockchain will be banned and prohibited in your country, and if this industry would fall, you have to make your own move to still be able to provide something in the table than to push through against limitations.
2177  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: February 21, 2023, 02:33:15 PM
Possible to hit both. Correction could always take place especially if the reason behind an increase, is not that strong, enough to push a long pump in the marjet prices. Right now the market price is more likely to be back at $20k. $30k on the other hand is possible to be crossed mid year but I cannot cite exact reason for this thing. The marjet is just unpredictable and full of uncertinty. The recent increase was not even anticipated by many investors. It just did, and eventually influenced the demand towards other cryptocurrencies. Right now wherein the market is a bit retesting, the next price movement is hard to predict or even assume.
2178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there age limits to Bitcoin investment? on: February 21, 2023, 02:04:56 PM
Technically, there's none. But it has a responsibility on it. Engaging with investments at the early age for sure has its own limits. You'd be more often at edge of losing unlike with having a job at the right age wherein you'd atleast be able to endure losses on your investment. In any field of investment, there would always be risk present. Which is why it is always being reminded to us that we should only invest an amount we can afford losing simply because there's no certainty of profit especially to this industry wherein market prices of most crypto are too volatile. Ofcourse, knowledge into what you are engaging youself with, will always be needed to give you a start.
2179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 01:34:08 PM
In this forum and other forums where gambling is one of the topics of discussion, one of the recurrent topics is people who write about how their gambling addiction has ruined their lives. We usually encounter topics like "Gambling ruined my life,"  "I lost all my life savings to gambling,"  "I gambled away my entire salary," etc. Then they go on to tell a sad tale. It makes me wonder: why do gamblers tend to wait until they have suffered a catastrophic loss or a string of losses before quitting or seeking help?
That is how addiction works; you became unaware that you are being to hooked up on a particular thing and the moment you'd realize is when you cannot independently stop it and is needing professional help. Everyone's aware of the down side of things but why do they still continue? because they have their own purpose which is to gain profit from this industry. This drive simply pushes them to cross that caution. They are simply taking the risk straight forward. It might be cliché to some but you'd only understand it once you are in such situation. Likewise with vices; for sure you know someone who smoke which believed that it is a bad thing when he was a child but ended up being one. So in this matter, try to be more considerate; we are all going through different circumstances which pushes us to embrace risk.
2180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 20, 2023, 10:54:46 PM
The question is for what purpose are you sharing this technology? It would be better to break expectations than to have high hopes to an extent they would assume that much from this industry. As we all know there are still issues such as volatile market price and prohibitions of its usage to some countries. Regarding profit potential, indeed this technology could really be beneficial IF they would have the knowledge to make use of it. With that being given, they should as well invest on more knowledge before their actual engagement. For sure we all know someone who thinks this industry is a scam simply because their expectations were not met.
