2161  Other / Meta / Re: How to cope in this forum on: May 02, 2023, 10:49:11 PM
keep on posting valuable topic that will help others

Mate it's quite ironic because in 30 seconds of skimming,  I couldn't see a single valuable post from you. Maybe try to apply your advice to yourself before telling people how to do it.

Cheesy Maybe OP has to change the title to How I am going to Cope in this Forum or What I'm Going to do how to Improve he should start with himself, we are good at advising others, and yet we are lost on how to apply that advice, he is talking about value but like you, I have not seen value on 90% of his posts.
People should stop giving advice if they cannot give a receipt or prove that they applied it to themselves, it's like a blind leading a blind.
2162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: May 02, 2023, 09:29:31 PM

If slots games is all you are good at, are you really good at it or you are just lucky? Can you use the word 'good at it' with slots game?

I always said this a hundred times you cannot be lucky in any luck-based games you can be lucky from time to time but saying that you are consistently winning because you are lucky is a delusion, you can only find this stuff in the God Of Gambling movies when you said you are good at slots for me it means you can break even or win from time to time, and this goes with all luck based games in all casinos, good at luck based games is not existing in casinos, the house always win, so just have fun don't trouble yourself of trying to get lucky.
2163  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Telegram wannabe scammers contacting me through bitcointalk on: May 02, 2023, 03:06:04 PM
Today I had to delete my Telegram handle from my profile page here since some scammers seem to target bitcointalk users that have their TG handle out in the open.

Some clown contacted me with a story if I am buying and selling btc. I played along and wrote I would consider it but only in person and for cash ( that's how I only deal anyway ).

You are a willing target because you did not set your setting to private and there's no need to strike up a conversation with people on Telegram if you know what they are going to say, we already have a lot of topics about Telegram scammers, just ignore them report and block the profile, it will not even take a minute to do that, once you entertain them they will just tempt you to have a long conversation, scammers are good at communication until you fall to their trap.
2164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we trust 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 01, 2023, 11:35:29 PM

I remember there were accusations to casinos which casinos are trying to ask the 3rd party game provider to look at how users are trying to find ways to win. Casinos suspects there are sort of glitches that took advantage of.

Since Stake remove them, I guess Stake find them unreliable or doesn't trust them too.

Stake has to protect its platform and protect its players as well They have a high standard being the number one gambling platform in the industry, they have to keep with what's best for its community so if they decide to take down
3rd party game provider game There's a compelling reason to do this, they have a team that monitors their third-party providers to protect their interest and satisfy their players.
I have seen a lot of complaints about third-party providers, and gambling platforms like Stake are up to date on this.
2165  Economy / Economics / Re: The Biggest Financial Regrets on: May 01, 2023, 10:45:43 PM

Please share what you believe to be the biggest risks in finance.

The biggest risk for me based on my experience is being complacent and greedy, I should have become an advocate of the word HODL back five years ago, it is so easy to accumulate 1 full Bitcoin 5 years ago on bounty campaigns when Bitcoin is still cheap, and there are good and profitable projects to promote, not having an insight in finance is the biggest risk.

Insight is what carries you to hold on to your portfolio and accumulate more, lack of it and being easily tempted to sell for a small profit when a bigger profit is yet to come is a disaster.
2166  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling OK HASH on: May 01, 2023, 08:47:22 PM

Thanks for you advice. We will improve and do better.

The first thing you need to improve is how you post you can get your account banned for posting consecutively, you have to merge your posts if you're going to address all the questions here not one answer to one question per post.

Do you have a plan to change the template or adjust the size of your template and include the TOS and privacy policy, its nowhere to be found we have no idea about your KYC and restricted countries and other important details so gamblers will be guided on how they proceed when playing in your casino.

2167  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dexsport.io ⚡ the first decentralized crypto sports betting platform on: May 01, 2023, 11:32:12 AM
The biggest scam company, I finally saw you promoting your business on bitcointalk. I saw your platform on YouTube and played for two weeks, losing money every day during that time. In the end, I may have lost a total of $2,000 to you. On the last day, there was still $190 left in my account that I hadn't withdrawn. When I logged in again the next day, my balance was zero. I tried to recover my money in the Telegram community but received no response and was eventually kicked out by you from the Telegram community. The biggest scam company!

It's good that you warn the community about this but you have to open a scam accusation to verify your accusation
Scam Accusations for a newly announced casino here in Bitcointalk this is serious and OP if he is the official representative here should address this concern, if he is not then he might as well lock this thread

Post all your pieces of evidence like screenshots of the conversation if possible your deposit and balance if you lose $2000 you have to warn others about the risk of playing in this casino but your accusation can be taken seriously if you post all your evidence.
2168  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ok247trade.com scammers on: May 01, 2023, 09:37:08 AM
Typical fake exchange. Obscure, dreadful grammatical errors, usual money laundering accusations and ridiculous mandatory tax payment fee AKA deposit before you can withdraw scam.

Gotta say, their domain name is quite funny lmao as I find "ok247trade" on the same level with "No scam" or "100% legit/real" - words some scammers use a lot.

Scammers are good at picking the right domain name and creating enticing words to compel investors to invest, this platform is new they just launched 5 months ago, and their terms are questionable and dubious they make you sound like they are strict and legit, and now there's a scam complaint, this will stop their track of scamming people.
Checking Google when I search for ok247trade.com this thread is in the third position, glad that it quickly gets indexed.
2169  Economy / Reputation / Re: My 1000th Post on Bitcointalk platform. on: May 01, 2023, 08:29:04 AM
1000 posts is not all that of a milestone to create a thread for, i think celebrations of this sort should be reserved for actual milestones, if users begin to create threads for what they subjectively think is a milestone, it could really get messy out here.

Well for him it is, although there is already a dedicated thread for that once you recognize yourself as achieving a milestone you'll work hard for another milestone again like another 1000 within a year or ranking up.

So congratulations keep it up, have a beer, celebrate set up another goal to achieve that will fuel your motivation to post constructively and be a good member of this forum, you can lock this thread and comeback after a year and post what you achieve by then.
2170  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker moved coins from my wallet on: April 30, 2023, 11:12:07 PM
I am sorry and saddened by the loss you have experienced.

Electrum is a pretty good bitcoin wallet from what I know that keeps me looking for it by reading every post related to electrum wallet.

A few days ago I signed/verified the address with electrum to prove ownership of the address and it was quoted and verified by @bitbollo

OP broke the news that broke me Today at 12:31:19 PM.
I came across a discussion about electrum wallet users 2FA Today at 11:53:20 AM.

There seems to be continuity.
I just want to follow for the sake of gaining new knowledge.

I also verify and signed the wallet using Electrum and now checking articles and discussions about Electrum's security, this is not good if we have two reputable and I believe knowledgeable members getting hacked using the same wallet,
I hope Avirunes can give us more details about our security concerns, I'm using Malwarebytes too, and Kaspersky if this is not enough I guess the only option is to transfer to Linux for better security, this was highly recommended when Julerz Electrum wallet was hacked.
2171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Hash games entertainment on: April 30, 2023, 09:46:44 PM
Based on Whois there's a possibility that this is a China-based Casino server is from China it was created only last month I don't like the interface and they also ask you to download wallets that they allowed on their platform with a link on their page

https://okb99.vip/#/pages/help/walletRegist

When it comes to wallet I prefer to download it not coming from a third party, especially to a new site there's a big risk in doing this.

Hello! I Looking for the best tipsters in the world
winrate 80%+, better is 90%+(Asian Bet or Bet365), you know what I said
Maybe it is fixed matching, but I need to verify it.
Fraud don't PM me, I won't pay prepaid first.
I am very familiar with all this
@bet358

You're spamming the forum looking for a tipster, you claim to be familiar with all of this but you've just been refuted by members that there's no such thing as an almost-perfect tipster, there are risks on tipster giving you fixed matches all I know is fixed matches only given by people who they personally know, because there is a risk of complaining to the authorities if the fixing did not happen.

2173  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is a web3 casino for you? on: April 30, 2023, 10:25:59 AM
Lately we have seen a lot of online casinos that are considering themselves as Web3.0 but in reality it’s just a name, they don’t over a real Decentralized experience for players.
So i want to know from you what’s are all the features an online casino should have to be considered as web3.0 casino?

Decentralized casinos are still having a hard time to attract more players, though there’s a lot of projects already that is being owned by the community though its hard to choose for a good project as most of them have the same concept. If the site is not being honest about their real technology, then that’s a red flag for me better to look for alternatives, decentralized platform are still a big concern when it comes to casinos especially with their fairness.
I'm not a fan of these Web3 I've been into an investment site where I have to connect my wallet, just lucky that I got alerted that there is a bug on the platform, these Web.3 casinos are not well audited if you're not good at looking at code and the project is new there is high risk of losing your deposit and funds on your wallet.
For average players, they prefer centralized casinos because the concept is easy compared to Web3 where there is a risk of bugs and backdoors.
2174  Economy / Services / Re: Forum space for rent > Signature, Banner, Website link on: April 30, 2023, 09:49:30 AM
Im renting out my profile space for your brand advertisment.
30$ in btc for 30 Days.

Guarantee atleast 5 post activity per day on high volume threads.(1000+ views)
DM me here in forum , payment is upfront btw i dont wait till end of month

If you cannot get in on other campaigns here your chances are not good getting a client, why not challenge yourself to rank first on at least of the full member rank and qualify yourself on existing campaigns here so you have a resume to show on your offer and besides junior member rank has a limitation on their signature space, you cannot even wear avatar, that is why junior rank is not on the majority of signature campaigns.
2175  Other / Meta / Re: Is it better to have a place to discuss only about NFTs? on: April 29, 2023, 11:34:47 PM
Is it better to have  a place to discuss only about NFTs?

I think that would be a good for NFT lovers

There are a lot of NFT supporters in the altcoin section I consider NFT part of the altcoin community so there's no need to create a dedicated board for NFT and besides NFT is not a long-term and dedicated industry if you set up a poll you'll see that many are not in favor of setting up a dedicated board for NFT, especially those who lose a lot of money investing in NFT, and I don't there's a huge number of NFT lovers this is just a hype that will soon fade away.
2176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: April 29, 2023, 10:32:38 PM
I almost forgot about Canelo Alvarez's tune-up fight versus John Ryder, and to think, this bout already around the corner.
1 week to go folks and we can witness Canelo fighting again, and probably we will have some answers afterwards whether if he will fight Bivol first or Benavidez.

Is it worth it, are we expecting something unexpected to happen, if I have the time I will watch it to see if Canelo is still good because if he wants to further move forward he should face Benavidez or do a rematch against Bivol now both fights are tougher so I'd like to see if Canelo still has it or become better after his last fight against Golovkin.
For a fighter like Canelo who has a good status in the boxing world, he should stop cherry-picking fights and always go for the challenging fights, if he still wants to be on top of the Ring Magazine.
2177  Economy / Economics / Re: My predictions for next decades world economics on: April 29, 2023, 09:27:55 PM
I choose not to believe you because this is your first post and you do not have credentials or reference that you are good in predicting events, or even as a fortune teller,

Quote
World war 3 start about 2024-2025 safest locations during the the world war 3 Will be USA UK and some part of Europe Baltics Nation Will be safer then scandinavian Nations.
I don't know where is this coming from and how sure you are and what's your basis that's only a year from now

You never post merit things in your post when you are a newbie, this one doesn't deserve merit, but maybe I'll come back a year or two and see if some of your predictions did happen and send you merit.
2178  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie are wearing avatar in their accounts on: April 29, 2023, 03:15:11 PM

This seems like a discrimination to me. Why would an account be exclude from the new rules guiding the forum? Their avatar should have been removed automatically by the system after implementing the new rules. I have never seen a rule guiding a community applicable to some while excluding some and they're living together. I know my opinion does not matter but let call a spade a spade. Being an old member should not exempt them from the general rules by the way. Assuming those accounts back to be active in the forum now that's how they'll be bragging with avatar leaving the new account who has not attain the full member rank without avatar? That's ridiculous Undecided
Thymos should remove their avatar. I can see how frustrating the OP is right now  Grin
I don't see any discrimination those accounts are not active anymore why envy accounts that are not active here, you are just speculating that they will come back, no one here has seen active newbies with avatars, and besides you are one level from reaching a rank where you can wear avatar and besides these newbies with avatars, once they discard their avatar they cannot wear a new one.
Theymos might grant your request if you see one newbie with avatar, you can then call out Theymos, but since there is none there's no need to complain.
2179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin could hit $100,000 by the end of 2024 - Standard Chartered - Surprised? on: April 29, 2023, 01:58:21 PM
It is possible that bitcoin will hit $100k by next year ending which will be after the halving. This year has been a good year for bitcoin and that is why you see that Chartered Bank has accepted the truth about bitcoin being a volatile asset with great opportunity to pump higher after the halving. The next bull run price at ATH will be a surprise to investors because they will be shocked with the amount it will hit. From my own speculation due to the recent turmoil in the banking system, more banks might still crash and investors will be left with no option than to invest in bitcoin. All these will skyrocket the price to $200k. The truth about bitcoin cannot be hidden anymore.

The prediction is realistic compared to the late McAfee's prediction, $100k is possible because 2024 is the year of the halving but I doubt it will hit that exact price if there are no more FUDS coming and adoption continues, we'll see 6 digits mark for Bitcoin, the only thing that keeps the price to move forward from the price we all been wanting is the too may hacking, scamming and FUD.
The market is highly volatile bad news and FUD will create a turnaround, so far Bitcoin is doing good, but I don't rule out the possibility of the government's continuous crackdown, there is news that they are eyeing Binance and this is bad if ever Authorities put Binance in a bad situation, the market and the community will suffer again.
2180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losses In Gambling That Still Haunts You Until This Day on: April 29, 2023, 12:37:37 PM
  • Date/year : 2021
  • Amount or Figure:40k BFG
  • What Game : dice crash game

I lost the majority of my BFG token I got from the bounty campaign I was earning a decent amount staking my BFG until I get tempted to try to increase my stakes by playing Crash game and dice, my biggest regret is I should have stopped when I was losing half of my BFG but keep telling myself that I still have a chance to recover my losses, literally chasing my loses, glad that I stopped or I lose all my BFG token, you really can't win against Crash game and Dice.

You can consider thinking that you will still loss your token if you just hold until now due to the mega dump happened on the token price. I always think this way if I’m playing using casino tokens. But sometimes this method haunts me too especially Bitcoin. I loss tons amount of Bitcoin long time ago and I’m already a millionaire I just hold all my Bitcoin that loss on gambling.

I’m addicted on dice game before. You are still lucky that you loss using a token that the value is already decreased a lot from its original value when you loss it.

Yes there is a decrease in value but it's not only the token or its value when I lose those tokens their price was at its all-time high and I was earning $3 to $5 daily if I remember from staking my token if I did not lose those tokens I could have accumulated different coins and tokens from staking BFG token, I still believe in this token so I still accumulating because their platform their token and I'm still waiting for their goal to list their token on top exchanges like Binance.
