Individuals in my state(utah) simply have more leisure money, and no legalized prostitution/gambling. Our cost of living is less, our earning potential is usually reflective of our industrious nature.
My suggestion for individuals in the other states, stop being so lazy and poorly educated.
lol.... I didn't wanted to sound offensive. If the Utahns are having more leisure money to spend, then good for them.

Finally..... we have the results! I am a bit disappointed though. I was expecting somewhere in the vicinity of 80%. http://www.coindesk.com/56-of-bitcoiners-believe-bitcoin-will-reach-10000-in-2014/More than half of bitcoiners believe the price of their favourite digital currency will reach $10,000 this year, a CoinDesk poll has revealed. 2013 was a turbulent year for bitcoin, with the price of the digital currency fluctuating between $13 and $1,147, but the bitcoin community largely thinks it will soar way higher than this over the next 12 months.

Increased brain activity means little if they're still going to be in vegetative state. I couldn’t imagine anything worse than being conscious or semi-conscious yet trapped in my own body.
He is in a medically induced coma, right? Since it is a temporary coma, I don't think he will remain unconscious for too long.

China’s 2013 Military Budget went up 10.7% $114.3 Billion and is spending much more on defense than it discloses. In 2012, the DoD estimates China spent between $135 billion and $215 billion on military-related expenditures. China buying up useless hardware and a second-hand Russian aircraft carrier (which is actually good for nothing) is not going to help them. Japan is having the best technology. China won't be able to match it even with a 10x budget.

House ownership doesn't guarantee anything. Governments can force you to sell if some capitalist wants to build a train line through your property or develop new property. But at least in a non-communist society, such occurrences are rare. And another thing is that we can protest against that move. If anyone protested against such a move in the former USSR, he was send to 20 years of hard labor in some Siberian gulag.

Perfect, I might move to NY for like a month this summer
lol... I think it might be too early to do that. Don't forget that some of our most powerful enemies (bankers) are based in NY.

With the adult industry being a billion-dollar moneymaker, we should be happy about this. Wider adoption is a plus, even if critics could bash BTC for being a gateway to porn/sin/whatever's against the church and good family values.
Church might be opposing porn on the outside. But it is no secret that in the US, the people who spend the most on porn are ultra-conservative Christians. The state of Utah is having the maximum per capita spending on porn for the last few years.

We already had a very detailed discussion about this in the Politics & Society section. Check this.

Crypto currency should be making the world a better place Drugs and porn don't contribute to this. I don't agree with your views. Soft drugs like Marijuana were in use for the last several centuries. People (i.e adult people) should be free to do whatever they want to do with their body. And regarding porn, sex industry is at least 2 millennium old. I don't know about others. But I myself don't want to live in a country where porn is banned (don't get it wrong. I am not addicted to porn). The porn industry does great harm to the women involved. Many are traumatized, oppressed, abused, and hooked on illegal drugs. Male and female porn actors die all of the time from AIDS, drug overdoses, suicides, etc. Driving the sex industry underground will do extreme harm to these very women. When the dealings are public, there is minimal forced trafficking and the medical care is readily available. Once you drive it underground, it is open season for all. The porn industry is fuelled by its consumers - they and their money drive this destructive business - and hence the damage done to these women can be partly attributed to the consumers as well as the producers. These women are precious and deserve to be loved just as much as you do. Let us all make the world a better place to live in and protect our woman and daughters from the onslaught of destructive pornography and illegal drugs. Customers will be there no matter how much you oppress the sex industry. If single and lonely people don't get enough porn, then they will start raping vulnerable women. I don't want that to happen.

Did anyone ever sue BFL? Pretty sure they were later than a few months... and they are still accepting new orders.
Some people did sue BFL. But their terms and conditions are tweaked in such a way that it will be ages before a positive verdict can be obtained. I was surprised too... considering that they were based in Kansas, USA.

In most of the countries bank transfers are reversible. And international bank transactions (wire) are normally traced by tax authorities also. Go for a WU transfer. As far as I know, it is more safe and anonymous as compared to bank wire.

I am fine with voluntary communism in things such as communes and community property. It is when force comes into the equation that it becomes perverted.
It is not as simple as you think. Imagine what will be the case if you are unable to own a house. You will have to shift to new residence every then and now. Things like these are enormously irritating.

Usually what happens is "they" select a judge which will rule in their favor. It's that simple and has been done for many years to buy time, do damage control and so on. In US, the judges are selected by the Senate of Representatives. So what is so surprising, if the rulings are biased?

Yeah , buy them from the Russians. . Know what? In 2012, the Russians refused to sell their S-300 air-defense batteries to China. Do you know the reason? They were afraid that the Chinese will plagiarize the Russian weapons.

Guys, agreed. Nuclear warheads can change everything. But do you know one thing? China is not capable of striking any of the major Japanese cities with its nuclear weapons. Chinese missiles are not as capable as the Russian and American ones, while the Japanese air-defense systems are one of the best. No chance for the PLA. Sorry.

Yea, One day its hot and the other day its cold as hell, I watched the movie Elysium and it lead me to believe if thats how the earth is going to be like in the next few decades.
Yes. Agreed. Summers are getting more warmer, while the winters are getting more chillier. The temperature variation is increasing everywhere.

Ive been noticing that where I live in AZ, Its been getting hotter and hotter during the Winters, like in It takes a while for things to cool down when the season starts.
According to the scientists, the temperature rise due to climate change is more pronounced in the polar regions, when compared to the regions which are close to the equator. Off course, temperatures are rising everywhere, but when compared to the steep change we have in regions like Siberia, the same in Arizona seems to be quite mild.

China will defeat Japan easily, but though we will have to go to war with them as we also are their allies.
lol.... which type of weed are you smoking? The Japanese military is very strong and they can match the PLA in almost every single department. And in the naval sector, I think the Japanese are more powerful when compared to the Chinese. And in addition to all this, they have military support from the US.

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/burgers-to-beatles-bitcoin-gains-currency-offline-in-the-real-world-9032198.htmlFrom Berlin record store Long Player to the Flower Lab, a florist in Santa Monica, California, more and more retailers are accepting Bitcoins as consumers increasingly buy into the virtual money, pushing up its value. In the past month alone the number of businesses on CoinMap, a website showing physical companies and vendors accepting Bitcoins, has tripled to more than 2,000, including 160 in Britain. Despite the recent setbacks from China and India, it is clear that more and more stores are accepting BTC all around the world.
