I checked there roadmap on https://github.com/dashpay/dash-roadmap/blob/master/README.md but it states that is it large outdated and that they will update it asap. Just wondering where is the best place to follow the progress seems to be we must be getting close to a alpha release ? The next quarterly call from the DashCore group will provide us with a new roadmap. Dash is currently at v.0.12.3 and will first get an update to v.0.12.4 before starting with v0.13.0 (codename Dash Evolution). Dash is slowly but inevitably entering a new longterm uptrend, that is what is happening.  The Sleeper has Awakened !! I honestly don't see it in that chart. It looks like it's gonna go down a bit more still... To be fair, so does most of the other alts. I wish it pumps sooner rather than later tho. And vs BTC. Nothing like an alt outperforming BTC for a period of time to make some BTC profit.  Yeah, you are right. Right after my last post Dash got hit by a third flash crash, which dropped Dash into the 0.029 - 0.030 range. I hope we will see a correction soon, RSI is currently at 32.2 on the longterm chart (1wk) so i think we are getting closer. |

Exactly! Having partnership with Blockcypher is really good movement of DASH project recently. Having partnered-up with Blockcypher (who provide Dash with additional partnerships and business integrations) turns out to be highly effective.

Addtionally, during the same period last year (2017), DASH were at the bottoms, then took off and experienced exponential growths. Most of altcoins, especially top altcoins have its own annual cycles. Therefore, I believe that DASH will take off sooner or later this year. And we have come closer to its take-off point. Yep, i think Dash is currently bottoming out. If you look at longterm charts (1wk interval) and activate the RSI indicator, you will see the RSI indicator for Dash currently sits at 32 and is starting to form a white line at the bottom. This indicates for Dash an oversold market condition. Dash vs. Bitcoin Debate With Tone Vays at PorcFest Earlier this summer I had the distinct experience of debating Bitcoin maximalist and trollish performer extraordinaire Tone Vays at the Porcupine Freedom Festival in New Hampshire. The debate mostly focused on the merits of Dash vs. Bitcoin as a payments system, specifically if there is room for another coin in the cryptoverse besides Bitcoin. We covered monetary properties such as scarcity, competition, money vs. trade clearing, and decentralization, of course. We each learned a good deal more about the other coin.
Oddly enough, it was a very productive debate, a bit of a contrast with the boisterous trolling style of typical Vays debate. I feel like we managed to bridge the gap a little bit, and that proponents of competing coins should sit down and have an in-person debate in a long format of in excess of an hour.oh hell, why not. icey, are you up for it ? China's official cryptocurrency ranking (it seems the Chinese government / Chinese Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) does a monthly update of their listing) : The China Electronics News Agency (CENA) explained that CCID’s rankings are based on “comprehensive investigation and evaluation of the public chain from three aspects:
basic technology, application and innovation.” CENA is the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s media agency. Regarding InstantSend, regardless of the number of transactions that occur on the network, if I make a transaction, will the confirmation be instantaneous?
Yes, if you use option InstantSend for your transaction it should be confirmed instantaneous (which means you get 5 instant confirmations on your transaction and at the same time your transaction is locked against double spending). The sixth confirmation will be through proof of work and will finalize the transaction in your GUI wallet. Dash recentely did a stress test with a lot of transactions and that did not negatively effect Dash transaction fees or Dash ability to process transactions (including InstantSend transactions). Dash Expands Further Into Capital Markets with Tradecore and BlockCypher Partnerships Tradecore, a brokerage software company, has partnered with Dash and BlockCypher, the blockchain solutions provider, to offer financial service providers and capital market businesses the ability to send, receive, and hold Dash.
The partnership was announced via a press release where Stefan Pajkovic, CEO of Tradecore, highlighted why they decided to integrate with Dash.

It’s been around since way back in 2014 and is, dare I say, a little bit boring. It has none of the the flash and fancy of Tron or NEO or EOS. It’s not a different beast altogether like IOTA or Stellar or Ripple,
and it doesn’t have the pipe and tweed jackets of Cardano. It’s just a cryptocurrency that wants to be very good at being a cryptocurrency.
And in this guy’s opinion (my thumbs are pointed at my face), they’re doing a pretty good job. I agree, a pretty good job.

Not sure why people blame the messenger, theirs a big difference between fud and facts. The FACT is that dash is the weakest coin in the top 20 year over year. It’s gushing blood again today, much more than the rest.
Throughout much of 2017 Dash posted much bigger gains than bitcoin and most other coins. Which puts your comment in the category of FUD Which makes the messenger a troll messenger. Which brings us to the old saying : once a troll, always a troll. To all the trolls out there : dont end up as a very dull troll like yonton, which everyone sees through immediately (those are the worse). To yonton : if you want to be a troll, just put some real effort and heart into it, your current trolling efforts against Dash are subpar to say the least. |
