Arsenal are having this good form running since mid Oct or Nov I think, bit of hurdles and fumbles in between but they are still running 4th quite strongly. They might not be a solid team like City but they are in road to that. They are slowly building up so still might take some time to bring in better consistent performance.

The only thing that I think is a concern is scoring goals. Lacazette is great but we need someone who can score goals on a consistent basis. Vlahovic would have been perfect but that's gone now. Arteta also said that they would try for a striker in next transfer window but for now hope Arsenal just keeps on working like this and manage to finish top 4.

Yeah, he is looking good at the moment. Talent was never in question, it was always about motivation for him. I am not betting on him against Fognini even though he should win that easy. Osaka won convincingly. Bartley has retired from tennis (at least for now). I think Osaka is/was also one of the few players who could really match Bartley. The women's top is now drawing closer together. Bartley was in a class of her own, it's really a shame she stopped at such a young age. Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title nine times in a row so far. And it seems like they are going to make this title streak ten. It is a really boring league now for me as none of the remaining teams can even leave Bayern Munich behind in the league standings and keep it that way for a long time. There is a huge consistency problem for all of them. Even Dortmund can't do this despite having a solid lineup. Their defense problems cause this to happen the most. I wonder when their era will start in the future.

Real Madrid are waiting for this summer to make a contract offer to Kylian Mbappe I think. But who knows, maybe this will happen much time before that. Because Mbappe wanted to focus on the Champions League first before this contract negotation phase. But PSG are not in the Champions League anymore. As they failed in their main goal for this season, maybe the talks can be finalised before the end of the season. Mbappe must be very eager to be signed by Real Madrid for sure.

I wonder when we will be able to see Manchester United's prime again. They have the most number of championships in the Premier League by far now. But for many years, we haven't seen them even getting very close to making it again. The old spirit of the team still doesn't exist. And as long as they go on like this, they are not achieving anything that's for sure. Actually the lineup is really great now. This team can play seriously for the title normally but something is still going on terrible for them. I just hope to see them in this competition again as of next season.

As for the matchup between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, I'm favouring Manchester City to advance to next round of course. And most people are going to be doing the same as me. Because Atletico Madrid would be in a big trouble against them even though they have a solid defensive play. Manchester City are not a similar team to Manchester United now. They wouldn't do many simple mistakes and wouldn't forgive the probable mistakes of Atletico Madrid too. And the first leg is in Etihad which could demoralize Atletico Madrid more. I think that Manchester City will have a very favorable result already then.

Yes, Atalanta - Napoli game is as much important as the Juventus - Inter one. Because Napoli, Juventus and Inter all are in this rivalry for the league championship at the moment. Considering this, Napoli will have to win to guarantee not falling more behind the leader, Milan. But it isn't going to be easy. Atalanta are a very serious threat for them and they would do their best to stop Napoli in their game home. My primary prediction would be both teams to score for this one.

Isn't it so weird to see Barcelona this way. They were always a great team and nobody even imagined seeing them in the europa, everyone expected them to be out of the group stage in UCL, but with Koeman they became so bad that they really had to change so much, they are still in big financial trouble and even though they were given 70-80 or something million salary budget, they are spending 100+ million more than that.


But at the end of the day, this team recovered so amazingly, beating everyone with 4 goals so frequently that right now we are feeling like watching the old Barcelona aren't we? I mean I certainly am getting the same feeling right now.
