I had just gotten used to playing 3 matches every day. That's now a few days of rehab, but they can go again on Friday. I think the bookmakers think very low about Croatia, Brazil is of course the favorite, but aren't the odds of 1.40 a bit low? Croatia has a strong team, have beaten France twice in the Nations League and were the losing finalists of the World Cup in 2018. I think the levels are closer together as the bookmakers are now estimating.
France and Brazil are very worthy teams for this year's World Cup final. The style of play of both the teams is highly commendable. In the match between Brazil and Croatia, I am very sure that Brazil will win. Both teams play similar and have showed they are really good. We will see if Napoli will make some changes in their squad in January as well. I guess that they would focus on keeping the quality high and maintaining the harmony of the team well at the same time. They shouldn't part their ways with any of their good players yet. They need to achieve a title first to think about that.
Maybe we will be able to see another strong team that is in first place in the Serie A standings if Napoli fail to maximize their consistency at the start of the league match later. Because they will compete against Inter Milan, Juventus and AS Roma. If they manage to win the first 3 matches which I think are very important, they will actually have more chances to get the Scudetto earlier. I might be a little skeptical of Juventus and Milan this time around. The reason for Milan at the moment is that they are still having financial problems and most likely they will only be with the same squad after half of the season and will only experience a few changes in players. As for Juventus they have more serious problems now so this could affect their performance when they are on the rise. Napoli`s chances this season are bigger and bigger. I dont see anyone that can stop them from winning the title in Serie A this season. Milan dosent have that firepower to compete with Napoli and Juventus after the recent shock will probobly fight only for top4 to just reach the champions league somehow. |

I expected that it will be more difficult game for Netherlands, they didn't impressed me in group stage and I liked how USA looked there. But today Netherlands remind me team that they had in 2010-2014. Argentina - Australia. Unbeleavable, but true - Messi scored his 1st play-off round goal in his 5th World Cup. Argentina controlled game until Australia scored goal out of nowhere and it made last 15 minutes very interesting. That moment when Australian defender went through maybe 4 Argentina players and almost scored goal was amazing. Argentina - Netherlands in 1/4 final, this is where big games begins  I will add Mexico and Serbia too.
Germany, Uruguay, Mexico were doing everything but because of the result from other matches, they had could not qualify even after winning their last match with dominance.
Well, before tournament Mexico reaching next round didn't looked like obvious scenario, they're not that much better team than Poland. And Serbia, they have some good players, but they never had good perfromances at big tournaments. Personally, in FIFA predictor I marked both these teams on 3rd place before tournamnet. Argentina vs Netherlands will be really intresting and i think that match will go in to extra time,i really dont see anyone winning in the first 90 minutes both teams are at same level as far as i seen at this world cup. Australia started good especially in defence up to the 30th minute then they dropped, took the first goal then the second one was a huge mistake from the goalkeeper, otherwise the result could be a draw unfortunately for Australian.
For the moment, Argentina 2 - 1 Australia, only few minutes left in the game. For a team playing rarely in World Cup, Australia did pretty good job.
Australia has 3 mins to do what they not done in last 90 minutes to score a goal - and take the lead - but Argeninte is making attempts on attempt to score a goal Big chance in the last minute for Australia but Martinez was able to save it somehow. In the end Australia had a chance to go into extra time but didnt take it. Argentina was much better in this match and could have scored in the last minutes but just wasnt able to,but for Argentina it came up good because they won in the end. |

NEW INJURY UPDATESThis particular update and almost got me really worried, and it is regarding Gabriel Jesus who picked up an injury in Brazil's last game against Cameroon and has been ruled out of the world cup with possible fear of missing out some games in the Premier League, very disturbing news for Arsenal. Alex Telles has also been ruled out for Brazil, another challenge for them. Tite's options on the bench are slowly been reduced by injuries, Brazilian's will be worried if injuries will be the problem of Brazil in this world cup. source I dont know what is happening to Brazil players at this world cup they just keep getting injured,didnt expect jesus to get this badly injured so that he even misses the premier league. First goal for Argentina from Messi, that was a great goal
yeah first goal by Messi from Argentina . The goal was due to a mistake by Australia. Due to a foul by an Australian player, Argentina got a good chance to take control of the ball near the penalty area. And Argentina took advantage of that opportunity to score a goal through Messi . it was soo great Messi continues to dominate in this world cup and another good goal and its impresive how he finds the space and scores the goal. Australia was attacking decent in the first half but just couldnt score and Argentina and Messi punished them this now means that Australia has to attack even more so there will be more room for Argentina to score. |

I guess Switzerland will have their job made easy with Portugal. Portugal is not playing well at all, so the Swiss team should have their way opened on to the quarter finals
I'm afraid that the Portuguese squad is struggling with its organization amount other issues as is the trainer relation with some of the players. It already had its toll and it clearly showed its impact on the last game with Korea. So this should be an easy peasy bet.
I think Portugal is playing good in the third match they didnt really need anything and just didnt force their strength. They were mostly saving themselfs and some players played more then the others. In first two matches Portugal really dominated and scored a lot of goals so i think in the match against swiss it will be a different story |

Today, Argentina are the absolute favourite so I don't expect any surprise in that match. I expect them to even win by at least two goals and Messi to score at the same time. But for the Netherlands - USA match, it is hard to trust anything. Netherlands are favoured maybe but their odd is not that low. I'm uncomfortable with the possibility of USA making it so I won't place a bet on Netherlands.
If I've learnt anything from this particular World Cup, it's the fact that relying on favourites no matter how strong they are isn't exactly a great decision. Argentina can definitely lose while USA can definitely win. Personally, I reverted to live betting instead of prematch bets primarily because of these annoying issues. Anything can happen as we saw in the World Cup match this time, including the United States making a big surprise by beating Argentina. Very difficult, indeed I admit it is very difficult to see such a big surprise. They will try their hardest and give their all. I think Argentina will dominate the game and America will try to counterattack. I wanted to see how effective the strategies the two trainers would implement. For him to leave there would mean that his career is probobly over and just wants the money. Cameroon surprised the world tonight. Being the first African nation to beat Brazil in the World Cup. This is a historic win for Africa. They put up a dog fight against Brazil and won the game. They didn't make it to the next round but I’m super proud of their performance. If they had put up this kind of performance in their first game against Switzerland, they would have stand a chance tonight to qualify for the next round. Kudos to them.
Yeah really surprising for Cameroon to win in this match against Brazil and they showed how much it meant to them even tho they were eliminated. Swiss went into the knockout faze and now Serbia and Cameroon are going home and Cameroon at least took that third place |

Chelsea is a really interesting team when it comes to the Champions League. They always seem the underdog in this tournament. But they are always one of the teams to be careful against in the Champions League. Because they have played completely different here for long years. It is like they have been caring about this title more than the Premier League title in the meantime. I don't see other explanation to their success here in the recent years. We can give the 2020/21 season as an example for this. While not many people were thinking of them to win the CL title they just made it.
There is a question occupying my mind like whether this would be another season similar to that. But on the other hand I just don't give it much chance. Because we still haven't seen an example of a strong performance. They struggled against even Dinamo Zagreb so I don't know what they can do against the biggest title contenders.
Most teams tend to take the Champions league competition more seriously than their league and Chelsea seem to be one of such teams the season because that is the best explanation to their successful stats in the Champions league and struggles in the league with same players and same manager. I agree with you that Chelsea should not be underated in the Champions league because if their poor form in the league, who knows whether the Champions league trophies is the major objectives for them this season. Chelsea should be underrated completely in the Champions League. They have no track record, just that once they won the CL against Guardiola doesn't mean they are not experts in the Champions League. Chelsea is not a contender and their is no hope for them. They didn't take Champions League seriously than English Premier league, what happened is that EPL was stronger and hotter for them. Everyone wants to do well in EPL at the same time this season. There is no great hope for Chelsea in the CL. They are underrated because they are really bad this season and they started the season pretty bad. They had a new coach and in the epl they will fight just to reach the champions league next season. Brazil really have a squad full of skilled players. Even when they rotate the lineup we still see very good players on the field just as it is now. Cameroon were able to do nothing against them in the first half which was a nightmare for Cameroon when we think they need a win in this. But they have started to pull themselves together in this half. Brazil are still effective though so it doesn't seem like Cameroon can get a win here easily. Brazil just don't look at it like they have guaranteed qualifying for next round and they are done now. They just continue to fight for a win every time.
From the line-up that was revealed, Brazil rotated almost all lines because they had ensured they would qualify for the last 16 with the status of group winners. Brazil also rotated in the goalkeeper position where Ederson started for the first time to replace Alison, some of the main players are still on the bench and may not be included in the match against Cameroon to avoid the risk of injury. Serbia - Switzerland match is pretty interesting. Both teams made comebacks and Switzerland are 3-2 ahead now. Serbia have really great attackers but they just can't solve their defensive issues. This was the same against Cameroon too and nothing has changed here as well. This can bring their end in the World Cup unfortunately.
Until the 70th minute, Switzerland was 2-3 ahead of Serbia and if this score lasted until the game ended, it was certain that Switzerland would qualify for the last 16 as runner up G with 6 points. Swiss playing confident so far and after 2-3 they have made the game pretty dead and it is going in their favor. Serbia just cannot create a chance now in the second half and they need two goals. I’m up into 8th, still a bit off 1st place unfortunately. Sissy is on fire in the lead, well done to him. Still lots of games to go though, I guess when the knockout rounds begin we will see who can mount a challenge to win it. That’s where it will get interesting.  The pool is extremely intresting and i didnt expect that at all. I messed up so bad on some results that im already out of the competition but still want at least that weekly reward if possible. It is true that Japan is one of the representatives from Asia who has achieved extraordinary achievements in this year's world cup.
