2181  Economy / Reputation / Re: Red Trust Manager? on: November 10, 2019, 10:08:56 PM
Doesn't red trust mean symbolize bad image?
if so, do you still believe in projects managed by well-known managers who have red trust?

and frankly like @Wapinter

You can open his trust page and there should be link to exactly why he was given red trust. You see who gave him and why. By that you can make your own opinion. Is quite simple.

This post should definitely belong into Meta part of forum and not alt coin discussions.
2182  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $400,000 (?) on: November 10, 2019, 09:33:05 PM
Quote
Accordingly, our long-term price target for Bitcoin is approximately $400,000 per coin, based on taking the market cap of all the gold in the world and dividing it by the number of bitcoins that will ultimately be in circulation.

This is his main argument. Reality is that something also have to replace money. If that will be Bitcoin then price should be eventually much higher.

Dash is Looking Forward for Cryptocurrency Adoption in Latin America
Link : https://cryptomoonpress.com/dash-is-looking-forward-for-cryptocurrency-adoption-in-latin-america/

I just found this: Dash Latin America Adoption Leader Leaves in Favor of Bitcoin Cash, Focuses on 1,160 Merchants https://coinspice.io/news/george-donnelly-dash-bch/

This plus https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/comments/dtsmdw/dash_labs_is_closed/

No more development?  I understand that in times like this when DASH is losing value every day we save founds, but to save at the development?

Look what George Donnelly said:

This is so sad. I cant believe it really. Merchants are what makes coin alive.

Can someone that know how please start CEO impeachment. He cancelled all development and now merchants are leaving for BCH.

2184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 10, 2019, 06:06:09 PM
The adoption will be massive in a very short time, since 50% of financial professionals believe that Bitcoin will surpass S&P 500 in 2020

Bitcoin does and will always outpreform S&P 500, except in the year of retracing. After the ATH, so 2014, 2018 and 2022/2023.
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy Dogecoin on: November 10, 2019, 05:31:26 PM
Buy Dogecoin
buy 30 sat
sell 40/45 sat

In past was more like buy sub 30 sat sell at 100 sat. Now maybe you are right. Doge definitely have future. It will be here 10 years from now, while 90% of cons will not be.
2186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Saving for a House! on: November 10, 2019, 04:04:02 PM
We are saving for a house down payment of 40K.  I don't want to leave it in the bank as there is a old judgement they can take any time so i want to store it in crypto as we grow it over the next 6 months.  Is a stable coin the best option?  Thoughts?

Buy gold if you hate banks or cash. Stablecoins are same as fiat just worse. Bitcoin is volatile if you plan to keep it in Bitcoin for only half year. Gold is best.
2187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Cryptocurrency should I get? on: November 09, 2019, 08:07:51 PM
Huh
Hi there.. my grandson says I should get some sort of crypto currency to put some of my savings in.  I am hoping for big returns so I'm a bit scared of getting bitcoin since it has been going down in value.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Henrietta
 Huh Roll Eyes

You should buy tiny bit every month. Like $50 or $100. I dont know your financial situation. So it will not matter how price changes in shorts terms. You should open account at something like Coinbase to do that easily.
2188  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold bubble and Economic situation more what to expect on: November 09, 2019, 07:29:06 PM
As I predicted here the Gold bubble Will pop.

Can you tell more please. So Gold bubble will pop after I guess decades. When it will pop and at what price you expect is will settle then?
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market currently being manipulated? on: November 09, 2019, 05:54:12 PM
usually before the pump, the market always falls. and today I see the market experiencing a decline, especially for bitcoin and several other big altcoins. in recent days bitcoin may be able to hold above 9k, but in the end it still falls.

Less then 5% price declines are just normal daily behaviour of cryptocurrencies. Tomorrow they will gain those 5% back. Problem would be if coins would lose 5% every day.
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token on: November 09, 2019, 05:20:41 PM
John McAfee Releasing an ‘Epstein Didn’t Kill Himself’ Token

You can issue token with any name that had not been taken yet on any asset platform. Everyone can do that. It is quite dumb to announce it before you issue since anyone can take that token name.  Tokens are just toys to have fun with.
2191  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: November 09, 2019, 04:54:05 PM
The major problem is that there aren't much vendors or merchants around the world that accept bitcoin as a mode of payment.

There are not more because people dont spend enough Bitcoin. As soon as people will massively spend Bitcoin there will be tons of merchants accepting Bitcoin.  I personally used Bitcoin a lot in 2017. Right now I avoid that and rather buy more. But that is my strategy.
2192  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: November 08, 2019, 07:38:38 PM
I was promised like 250k by McAfee in BTC value.

When's the price gonna skyrocket like the last 8 times? Tell me plz time travelers.

Did he gave you collateral?  If he did and time already passed you have all rights to cash it. You seems to do a very good deal with that bet.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto-powered social network a trend? on: November 08, 2019, 06:31:25 PM
I noticed that there are quite a number of crypto-powered social media popping out in recent years. I believe the most successful one is Steemit, which most of us can agreed on. There are also other social network platforms like Appics, Uhive and etc. I am curious to know if anyone of you is willing to switch from the daily social network app like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to crypto-powered social network. And if you could, do share your reasons for doing so.

There was a lot of everything. Different projects used ICO as way of easy crowdfunding. They could do it without any regulations and there was at least in 2016 and 2017 a lot of stupid money founding those project that would never get any normal investors.
2194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Forecast on: November 08, 2019, 06:06:06 PM
If this turns in back under $9,000 I wouldn't be surprise but it's going to be the signal to start buying again IMO.

Bitcoin is trading around $8,800 at the moment and I think you're right about buying it below $9,000 because there is a high possibility that it will bounce back to $10,000 or more in just a few days so I think its a good call to buy now if your goal is short-term and I'm very positive that this sudden dip is good opportunity.
Seems like the chart is still in downwards so it may not be the right time for short term trader, they should analyse the market more for short term benefits as above post mentioned there is chance to fall below $8500 so make this as price to buy and wait for the price to hit $10K.
I didn't expect this drop, i thought the market will be stable at the $9,000 range. I think someone predicted it right that there will be a dump but i don't think this as a dump yet. Seems like a normal movement of the market so far. I'm expecting bitcoin to be more stable after this somehow it should stay the range of $8,500 to $9,000.

It can go under $8000 easily. sub $7000 will be harder but of course possible. We will have to wait for next year for better times.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: November 08, 2019, 05:40:29 PM
I know some were saying it but I never belied them. How is possible that such catastrophe happened? Why is CEO not doing anything. I urged for intervention few months ago when price was higher then now. Why no one gets sacked for poor job done? With this tempo DASH will be out of top30 by end of year.

One day latter and dropped another spot and 4% less value.

Can we as community do something to escalate that CEO gets replaced? How can we do that? I dont think we can get more beatings like this. It is more then obvious he dont do anything.

Seems like you got lost, ...

Is there a reason why you dont take serious my concerns? You rather spam this thread with useless pictures all the time. Are you somehow related to CEO? I dont think personal gains should be in focus now.
2196  Economy / Speculation / Re: Aren't we headed towards getting a 10k (or maybe higher) shot again? on: November 08, 2019, 05:32:28 PM
It's November and based on my calculations, BTC had always risen upwards during the last 2 months of any year. What do you think about this?
The market went down almost 5% today and it is difficult to understand how the market will react all the time, i did not expect the market to go down like this but the market has its own way and no technical analysis can predict these movements, i thought the market will rise in the next two months and would have a correction after January but who knows we might see a rally after this correction.

Uh yes. I just noticed. Quite nice drop. We are moving further away from the $10k promised by OP. HE was drinking to much of hopium.
2197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH block size increase on: November 07, 2019, 10:43:09 PM
Recently, I read a article which stated that the ETH block size would increase by 8x. If the block size increases than the number of transactions getting included in the block increases which in-turn increases the rewards earned by the miner.

My confusion was what is the rate at which this block size is increases? If it is for every 10 min then very soon all transaction will be less to the size of the block or there are chances of even blank block with only the coinbase transaction will be mined.

Please help me understand. Thanks.

It takes weeks to sync Etehereum full node. With 8 times bigger additional blocks that will only worsen the situation.
2198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: November 07, 2019, 09:46:25 PM
waiting for $0.50 hehehe.

Waiting for $0.50, that might never really happen.  Maybe better take few prices and buy part of it then. Like 1/3 at $1, 1/3 at $0.5 and 1/3 at $0.25.
2199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need your advice! on: November 07, 2019, 06:55:43 PM
What do you think guys about its future. I need your advice that should I invest in this project? Kindly suggest me.

Do you believe it can keep up with insane profits that Bitcoin will make in upcoming 2 years? If yes then you should for sure buy some of these coins/tokens, if not you should just stick with bitcoin.
2200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: November 07, 2019, 05:34:04 PM
What do you guys think? Anonymous coins will grow in price, because in the future cryptocurrency will go into the legal framework and all adequate exchanges will delete such projects.

I dont know about price but there is no reason any exchange will delete anything. Opaque ledger cryptocurrencies are needed for people, companies and governments. All will use them.

Looks like one of your trolls got lost and ended up trolling in our Dash Announcements thread,

Please keep Bitcoin clones and forks discussions in appropriate threads.  This thread is about fungible opaque ledger digital cash.
