2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH future on: March 27, 2022, 11:45:51 PM
I think moving ETH from POW to POS is a reasonable decision, POS will consume less energy than POW. Many experts argue that the move to POS does not weaken the ETH network, but also increases the stability and scalability of the network when combined with sharding so no need to worry too much.
ETH is still the top altcoins and with the upgrade to ETH2.0, the future is brighter than ever.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2022, 08:07:35 PM
Over the last year's, relating from five to six years ago, looking at the best Manager's in bringing young players to stardom, I think Pep Guardiola comes first than any. From Barcelona to Bayern Munich to Manchester City, I think if I should offer an advice here, I'll tell the young and talented yo move to Manchester City.
I have read it a couple of times that a player says he moved to a team coached by Pep majorly because of pep is the coach, so yes i think i can agree with you, his philosophies are second to none, and he has the ability to discover hidden talents in players, even in positions they ordinarily never imagined they will fluorish in. Look at Kimmich at Bayern, Pep came in and completely gave him a new role, one in which be shone outstandingly, Pep is also synonymous with success, so if you play for a Guardiola team, chances are high you'll achieve a great deal of success.

Having said that, it must also be understood that Pep is very demanding as a manager, he tends to push his players to their limits, and you must be ready to follow his instructions to the letter or else you will be left out of the team, but overall playing under Guardiola should be a good experience for most players.

Guardiola is certainly a great course and there is no doubt about that because if I remember correctly he was the manager home built Messi from the ground up and for Messi becoming the world-class superstar that he is right now a lot of credit goes to the manager.
And under his management, a lot of players who were not playing really great started performing at a high level. He can obviously bring out the best in a player but the player obviously has to go to be great with his work ethic.
2183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 27, 2022, 07:53:21 PM
This match will be difficult for Barcelona to win. But it will not be difficult to draw this match. Sevilla has drawn in their last 3 matches. When the team's condition is so weak, they will not think of getting full points against Barcelona. Sevilla's coach will create their match strategy with the goal of drawing. If Sevilla plays defensively, it will be very difficult for Barcelona to win. However, Torres and Aubameyang are in form since. Nothing is impossible for them.

In my opinion, this game will belong to Barcelona, even though Sevilla takes the initiative to play defensive football, I think Barcelona will still be able to beat Sevilla because Barcelona's performance is currently good and their strikers are on fire. Moreover, Barcelona will play at home, so it can be sure if the crowd will be an advantage for Barcelona. I predict Barcelona will win by at least 2 goals difference.

Currently, Barcelona is in the peak form of their season right now. There is no reason why Barcelona cannot win this match. Even though Sevilla is ahead of Barcelona in the points table I don't think they are any match for the current Barcelona squad. And about Barcelona, I think they have proved what they needed to prove already so they will be determined to maintain their winning ways.
2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 27, 2022, 07:41:19 PM
It will be a good game to watch, Barcelona with a premier side is a tough one but it will be difficult for Barcelona to win this westham side even if the Spanish side are favourite, Barcelona has pick top form ever since Xavi Hernandez came back they are now playing like a Barcelona team( tiki taka) but I think West ham United needs this trophy more because is there gateway to champions League football next season.
Because Barcelona is already qualified for champions league in next season its not enough reason to lose to westham in the Europa. and who knows if west ham will survive the quarter finals against lyon and even if they  do  the will need to play a very classic game to win Barcelona which the chances are very slim going by how far xavi has improved Barcelona games.
I think we are underestimating Lyon here. How are we sure that West Ham will make it out of the Quarter finals. Lyon might be having a terrible season in Ligue 1, but that doesn't guarantee that they will lose against West Ham. The same thing applied to Barcelona. The  Europe League results something is usually shocking, especially in the Quarter and Semi finals. Although, they might probably be seems as the favorites.

They are obviously actually the favorite for these matches but yes I agree that surprises can happen in football and I think these teams know that very well. I don't think these games are going to lose because they are obviously better and I also don't think it's a case of underestimating any team because everyone is talking considering the level of powers that both teams have.
2185  Economy / Economics / Re: US warns India over oil deal with Russia on: March 27, 2022, 04:02:39 PM
The bad thing about the US government is that they really want to control other countries and if it is related to the opposing country then warnings and even severe sanctions will be given to the country they feel is under their control, now they are trying it on india.  Russia-Ukraine war should not affect global trade, because many other countries need each other, especially oil.
I do not understand the actions of the United States from the logical side. They want to completely abandon all energy raw materials and force the rest of the world to do it. This is a very strong blow to the economies of these countries, for many it is a death sentence. I don’t understand why Biden dictates such conditions to the whole of Europe?
Because US won't care about those countries, what they most want now is to find a way to drown Russia forever. Russia and China are two great powers threatening their global dominance and they know well that this is an opportunity that won't come twice. So they have to use all tricks and brute force to force others to do what they say.
2186  Economy / Economics / Re: A way to make money online? on: March 27, 2022, 03:42:34 PM
Im looking for a way to make money online. I have a website in development but I would like to find a way to make some extra cash while the website is in development. I would just like it to not be Surveys, or Dropshipping. Got any ideas?
Making money online is becoming a trend among young people today, but one thing must be known making money is not easy. Just like you make money outside, you also need the knowledge, time and experience to get in. So you determine what your skills are and what areas you can be good at, then try a few jobs then choose for yourself the one you feel is the best fit for you.
2187  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crisis its good on: March 27, 2022, 03:11:55 PM
I do not agree with you that economic crisis is a good thing. In fact economic crisis doesn’t make things cheap as you have said. Let’s take it that you are holding Fiat currency, and there happens to be an economic crisis, are you aware that the Fiat you are holding is going to lose its value And the price for products you buy in the market would also increase? So, how exactly is that going to favor you?

You are holding a Fiat that has lost its value and you are buying products that are now expensive because of the economic crisis, it is not really a good thing at all. I don’t think it is something that we should all be wishing for. Although for someone who is an investor, it might kind of favor you for the fact that the value of the asset you are holding would be worth more than what it was before.
I think that was inflation you're talking about where the value of money became cheaper but I think it's still part of the economic crisis. OP thinks crisis makes things cheaper. If he is building a business he thinks he can pay his worker lesser but actually he is going to pay more money because the value of the money got cheaper.

When there is a crisis, the unemployment rate will rise, that simply means more business are closing compare to the number of new opening business and not all people will work for a cheaper pay but they will choose to not to work at all than working in a company which pays less. He said that real estate is a bubble. I think that was wrong but real estates are known to gain more value overtime.

And that is the reason that if you have money to spare, you can invest in real-estate during this market condition.
Because it is true, real-estate is bound to increase thru time. Which is a very good investment if you can afford to.
The economic crisis is favorable to few, but many will suffer because they need to work hard more than ever to provide their basic needs.
Weigh your situation, and look for options how to take advantage of this opportunity. There's always positive side of things.

Honestly, real estate is always the safest and best investment channel. Over time, real estate will always increase in value as the world's population is increasing and the demand for housing is increasing, not decreasing. But real estate is not for everyone to invest, it is only for those who have a lot of money and a well-off life. It is difficult for salaried people to own real estate.
2188  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto users in Africa grew by 2,500% in 2021: Report on: March 27, 2022, 10:07:29 AM
While developed countries fear the explosion of crypto because they think it can affect their economies, small, poor countries choose crypto as a new tool to help them overcome difficulties.
It's gratifying to see that crypto is becoming a tool to help those in need while living in a corrupt and inflationary government.
It is hoped that the increase in the use of cryptocurrencies in Africa does not stop here, it will promote the African economy in particular and the crypto market in general to develop together.

2189  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 27, 2022, 09:49:23 AM
It may take a long while. The US and the West won’t stop making Russia experiencing the “worst of the worst” in their economy. Although that each of us are having our opinion regarding the timeline of Russia’s economic recovery, it’s not going to guarantee that the timeline would be accurate. Anything could happen without warning.

The West won’t stop and may impose additional sanctions in the future that would severely impact Russia’s economy even more. That’s what I was thinking. Although now they are accepting BTC as mode of payment for buying Russian oil to “friendly” countries, it’s not enough to make their economy recover soon because the West are going to do whatever it takes to prevent Russia from recovering fast.
The US and allies are trying every possible way to bring down the Russian economy to force Putin to stop this attack. But you are forgetting one thing that Russia is the top oil producer in the world and Europe's oil supply depends heavily on them. Europe has imposed all the bans and sanctions on Russia, but these countries must continue to buy oil and gas from Russia, shows that sanctions are not really effective. Bitcoin and crypto are only one of the ways to avoid sanctions, it is not the deciding factor for Russia's survival. Crude oil, gas and close ties with China are factors that keep them from collapsing.
2190  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 27, 2022, 09:26:55 AM
Of course! they discussed, but the problem of finding an alternative to Russian oil remains unresolved and I don't think they can solve it in the short term. Accepting payments in RUB was a surprise counterattack by the Russian side, Europe will have to start hoarding rubles or will trade goods with Russia for rubles. Only then will they be able to buy oil from Russia.

Not just in the short term, but in the medium term and long term as well. Oil is a non-renewable resource and in a few decades we'll run out of this commodity. Among the oil producing nations, only Saudi Arabia has the capacity to increase oil production significantly (up to 2 million barrels per day). And that volume is not enough to replace the Russian production (11 to 12 million barrels per day). All that said, I don't think that the Europeans would start paying in Rubles. It will be a breach of contract terms from Russia to demand so.
I have read that many companies from Europe are accusing Russia of breach of contract because the ruble is not on the list of currencies in which they pay. But under European pressure many unreasonable sanctions were imposed on Russia, there is nothing wrong with Russia's counterattack. If European companies do not accept payments in rubles, the oil crisis will be even more dire.
2191  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: March 27, 2022, 09:17:03 AM
The best skill right now is related to information technology, initially we worked freelance but if the results were greater than official work then we focused on freelance, some of the best freelance jobs today are video editing, on the internet there are many offers for video editing and fees what we can get if we have at least 3 customers can reach $ 500 per month.
With the development of technology today, the best way you should find yourself a job related to information technology. Almost every new product that hits the market every day begins with new technologies, technology is at the heart of world development.

Out of all the tech related industries, I think programming is the best skill to make the most money. But to become a professional programmer requires you to put in a lot of time and effort even I think its only suitable for really smart people who can approach it in the best way.
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 26, 2022, 07:42:39 PM
Dembele is slowly becoming a very important player in the Barcelona club, it will be wise for his management to agree an extension of his contract rather than joining PSG~~~
Dembele's performance has been much better under Xavi this season. He has become an important player and he is also one of the best wingers of his age. The Frenchman I hope can reach an agreement in his new contract with Barcelona, he is needed and he can also develop even better with Xavi.

I must admit that both parties have their own interests, both from Dembele's side and from his agent's side as well as from Barcelona's side. Xavi expects Dembele to stay, as do most of his team-mates. That's good for him and the career I've seen him develop so far has been pretty impressive. But in the end Dembele and his agents will determine his future.

I think it's better for Barcelona if they do not go for Muhammad Salah because his demands will be a lot higher than Dembele's. and I think Dembele is doing quite well with Barcelona especially recently, so I think he deserves a raise.

it will be smart for Barcelona to extend the contract of Ousmane Dembele rather than go for Muhammad Salah. because the financial situation of Barcelona does not allow them to go for a transfer like that.
2193  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on its way to $100000?! on: March 26, 2022, 07:13:52 PM
Since the last few months bitcoin has experienced a very deep price correction from the price of the ATH level. But right now, the bitcoin price has continued to rise until it has risen to the current $44k range. Therefore, if the target price for this year is $100k, then I think it will be difficult because to reach the target price of $100k there needs to be a long rally and strong support from the crypto market. however, if the uptrend continues, bitcoin could hit its $100k price target at least next year.

Constantly good news from the Russian side: Russia considers accepting Bitcoin as a payment when selling oil and gas to their friendly countries and now they are ready to adopt bitcoin and crypto in the economy their. I hope bitcoin will hit 50k in april and no further drop this year.
100k$ its not difficult with bitcoin but certainly not this year it will take one more super cycle for bitcoin to hit 100k$.
2194  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 26, 2022, 06:46:58 PM
When European countries have to pay for gas supplies not in dollars or euros, but in rubles, the ruble will undoubtedly strengthen. Nobody will like this solution, but there is no choice. If European countries buy gas from Russia, they will boost the Russian economy and strengthen the ruble. Of course, this will require a change in long-term contracts, but in our time everything can be.

EU countries will likely not buy gas from Russia after the war in Ukraine. Today the US president started discussing with other countries like Canada and EU countries on how to stop purchase of Russian gas and strengthen the sanctions. Rubie will not be used in EU for trade instead euro or dollar.
Of course! they discussed, but the problem of finding an alternative to Russian oil remains unresolved and I don't think they can solve it in the short term. Accepting payments in RUB was a surprise counterattack by the Russian side, Europe will have to start hoarding rubles or will trade goods with Russia for rubles. Only then will they be able to buy oil from Russia.
2195  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or altcoins on: March 26, 2022, 06:33:41 PM
In a bear market, altcoins fall faster than Bitcoin (ie Bitcoin dominance recovers somewhat but has to wait for the next bull market to go really high.)
Looks like Altcoins are currently undergoing massive changes in the crypto market, I think right now it is appropriate to do something about Altcoins and also Bitcoin seems promising for the future.

Now more and more Altcoins have great potential in the market, they continue to grow and support strong finance makes me not hesitate to make Altcoins as a long-term asset and investment, several coins such as Solana, Luna, Polygon and so on to continue to increase and now We deserve to make a larger portion when the Bitcoin market looks stagnant like now.
There are many altcoins in serious development that are backed by reputable investment funds. It's no longer a mess just to pump and dump, lots of potential altcoins well worth the investment.
Bitcoin does not stagnate, but bitcoin has increased many times over its original value. Bitcoin can't bring huge returns like today's altcoins, but it's a safe investment that shouldn't be overlooked.
2196  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction is the right option? on: March 26, 2022, 06:20:55 PM
It is true that economic sanctions may break the backs of many countries. The country will become poor, maybe try to be self-sufficient, if it can, it will be able to survive, but it will not be able to shout at all. However, these theories may apply to Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea. But what happens when you try to play this kind of game with superpowers?

In my opinion the effects of sanctions on a superpower are even worse than on the smaller nations like Venezuela or North Korea. A superpower is usually strongly connected in international trade an relys on exports for the economic growth. Once many nations join in on the sanctions the trade will collapse and send the currency downwards. The lower currency makes imports more expensive, which will make force down the economy even more. In my opinion sanctions are important and should be applied, but the severity of them is a issue. The harder the sanctions the more the ordinary people are going to suffer. This might make people more radical and not change the desired politics. I would expect if you ask people in North Korea, Iran or Venezuela how they feel about the sanctions and their attitude towards the West, they will probably blame more the foreign countries than their own leaders.
Not really, the impact of sanctions will depend on each country's response strategy. Venezuela, Iran and North Korea are small countries and they don't have many relationships with other countries, so the impact is quite heavy. But with the case of Russia, I think things will be different because they are a superpower with a large army, abundant natural resources and they have a very good relationship like with China and India.

Sanctions will have an impact on the economy, but they already have the necessary contingency plans in place, so it is difficult to say whether the Russian economy will collapse like Venezuela. In addition to self-reliance I believe that with close relations, China will not abandon Russia.
2197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian head of the committee on Energy about selling oil and gas in Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 02:00:35 PM
A great news from Russia IMO. and i see that there will be a new improvement in the market because of that reason.
There is no word yet on whether Russia will accept bitcoin payments for its oil purchases, but i think this is why bitcoin is up slightly today and bitcoin is approaching 45k.

But i hope they lesser the price of oil and gas because to be honest its really too high compared few months ago. Grin by the way what happen to their digital currency (Ruble) why they fell in bitcoin?.
Oil and gas prices rise is not their decision. The US stopped buying oil from Russia and banned other countries from buying oil from Russia, causing a shortage of the world's oil supply which sent oil prices soaring.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 24, 2022, 07:07:08 PM
By looking at the last few matches between the two teams, both Real Madrid and Chelsea, I am more confident that Chelsea will qualify for the next round.
I think Real Madrid beat PSG because PSG players made a lot of fatal mistakes, causing defeat, more precisely Real Madrid won because of luck, but on Chelsea's side it was because of the quality of their football game, which was very good.

The Chelsea squad may not have the star players like PSG. But there are excellent bonding between their players. PSG's match strategy was very bad. At the same time, the understanding of forwards' player with the midfielders is not good, that why Real Madrid beat PSG 3-0. But Chelsea is very strong as a team. So Chelsea will not lose against Real Madrid. They will be able to qualify for the next round.

I think it will be really amazing if Real Madrid can win this match against Chelsea. because almost everything points to Chelsea's win in my opinion and the only thing that is probably in Real Madrid's favor is their ability to play great football in the Champions League. Other than that I think in almost every other aspect Chelsea is better than Real Madrid.
2199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you even helped anyone with bitcoin? on: March 23, 2022, 05:15:54 PM
Except for the call for donations in Ukraine, I have never helped anyone by crypto. The people I meet to help are mostly poor, sometimes I meet beggars on the street or families whose crops have been damaged by floods. I donate almost exclusively in cash, and I hardly have a chance to use crypto to donate. But I think crypto are mainly used for investing and accumulating assets, so people will prefer cash help over crypto. Geographical distance such as the war in Ukraine, we only use cryptocurrencies.
2200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donating With Bitcoin on: March 23, 2022, 05:00:30 PM
Bitcoin or crypto donations will become more popular when the war in Ukraine shows its effect. The point here is that we donate to Ukraine through the call of the government or a reputable organization. But if an individual does it as you do, it's very difficult to do because no one can guarantee that the money will actually go where it needs to be. So it's hard to get a positive response from everyone, the best way you should go through a reputable charity to implement this idea.
