1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins on: December 23, 2022, 02:51:43 PM
Perhaps, the idea of buying Bitcoin only is not a great idea for me. Altcoins are also profitable and sometimes even more profitable than Bitcoin. But, it doesn't mean we have to invest in any altcoin without any thorough research otherwise we just fall into scam coins that are already flooded in the market.
What I can say OP is that making a choice of investing that you know was profitable and most of all it has a working product as it gives some ROI assurance.
Honestly, I consider those coins that are on the top 10 to be a greater choice but I haven't chosen them all, why? I'd rather choice 3-5 coins in bulk than buying number of different coins.
Given what's happening in the market, I will prioritize bitcoin, and I won't DCA with altcoins. But I will agree with you if just investing in bitcoin is boring, and I also like altcoins.

Regarding investing in altcoins, I have the opposite opinion of you. First: I don't invest in altcoins during bear season, Second: I don't invest in top 10 altcoins like you, I will only invest in altcoins when bitcoin shows signs of bottoming and begins to accumulate. I will be looking at altcoins emerging in the market, which have the potential to replace the top coins in the next bull season.
Maybe you had a trauma about what happened with Luna, FTT and other altcoins. And that is why you are skipping them but that was only for now right? Maybe there was still a chance for your heart to get warm on them.

But for now, it's okay if the coin that you will invest is BTC. I too like it to be honest because BTC was still the controller of the market and once the demand is shifted again in BTC, then there is a big chance that we will see the bull run in a much earlier time than on what is its designated time which are 2 to 3 years from now. If you think investing in BTC alone is boring then there are still other assets that you can add, not just altcoins or cryptos but we also have stocks, bonds, real estate and many more.

I feel pretty scared about what happened to Luna and FTX, even though I lost nothing with those 2 crashes.

As I said, I still like to invest in altcoins, but investing needs to be at the right time, the bear season is not a good time to invest in altcoins, and the top 10 doesn't guarantee returns either. I want you to recall the top altcoins of 2017, most of which have been replaced by new altcoins. I would stay away from some of the top altcoins and just research potential new altcoins, the risks are the same, but the returns are huge if we choose the right project.

Of course, diversification is a must, I don't put all my assets in bitcoin, I also love forex trading.

1422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account on: December 23, 2022, 02:40:50 PM

It depends on the trader. I started in a demo account since I don't have money to deposit just to make it lose but I learn from a demo. You have a point that at first, it has no emotions but just if you have discipline and keep thinking that this would be like a real one so you should be serious about this it turns out working on me, I made a lot of mistakes if it is in real account it would be a big loss on my side. I feel more confident when I am ready to deposit money on the platform, it can boost my confidence. It really depends on the trader what he wants and what is working on him though

Yes, it depends on each trader, I have tried both. Maybe you are more disciplined than me because when using the demo account, I can't concentrate or be serious in trading. I always know that it's a virtual account and won't lose anything even if I place the wrong order.
I used a real account from the beginning with the smallest amount, and you are right, I lost money the first few times. But I'm really focused because I don't want to lose any more money, and I'm more mature quickly using a real account.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 23, 2022, 09:11:12 AM
Friendy games don't mean anything for teams. It only helps them gain match fitness, that's all. Napoli would never lost to Lille by an embarrassing score like that in an official game considering their general performance in this season so far. You can be sure of that. Players don't take friendly games very seriously and we see ridiculous scores like this one as a result. I don't think even Napoli supporters care about this result much. They must be all focused on their Inter game up next in the Serie A which is in two weeks.
Inter have been very dominant in home games against Napoli in the league for nearly six years. Napoli can't defeat them there since April 30, 2017. Inter can keep up this nice work in fact. Because their attacking strength has been very impressive so far. If they come back with a stronger defense that must be enough for them not to lose this one.
Even though it was a test match, the defeat suffered by Napoli must also be an important record for Spalletti. The World Cup break could have had a big effect on them, because their consistency had to stop due to a long holiday. The first match against Inter Milan will certainly be a benchmark for Napoli's strength in the second half of the season. But the point advantage they get is of course not too worrying, but if they lose against Inter and then also lose to Juventus, then the chance to win the Scudetto is very threatened. What is clear is that Napoli's test will be more severe in the second half of the season.

People should start understanding that friendly matches does not mean anything. At least not in the club competition. So everyone should stop thinking about the results of club competitions so much. Of course, Napoli did not take this seriously. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have lost like that.

Napoli is going to play Inter in the next match. Inter is not an easy opponent. But Napoli is also playing well in the league. I think they are going to play far better in that match against Inter. Because they’re going to take that match seriously. I know that Napoli does not have a good record against Inter. But this time I think that records are not going to determine the results.

And I was baffled about Litton Das batting at no.6. He is their best batsmen and could have been better utilized at no.3 or no.4. Mominul Haque was the only Bangladeshi batsmen who could score a half century and even he got out when it mattered the most.
Maybe Bangladesh team management tried to bring some variations to get a positive result. But Litton Das still failed to play a long innings. Mominul used to be a dependable player for Bangladesh in test format. His performance was very bad in the last few test matches, but today he has shown his capability again. I'm not surprised to see the collapse in Bangladesh batting lineup. 227 runs is quite low total score. Shakib, Taijul and Miraz are the leading wicket taker in test at Mirpur stadium. Let's see whether they can restrict Indian players within 250 runs or not.
Recently Indian team is performing very well against Bangladesh team. Some Indian cricketers are on fire. Bangladesh team will fail to stop them. Bangladesh cricket team came to the field today with the confidence of making a good score but they all failed except Mominul. The biggest thing is that 3 cricketers have been caught Rishabh Pant. Shakib, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das and Mehidy Hasan Miraz made good progress but none of them could perform as expected. They lost all the wickets on the first day. Although cricket is unpredictable, India's victory in this condition is now certain.

The Bangladesh team currently has a lot of problems. And you are not going to get good results from the players if the management is not good. That is what has been happening in the Bangladesh cricket board. Also have no idea why Liton Das was not opening. He has a great class and I don’t think it will ever be recognized by the selectors of the Bangladesh cricket board. And the truth is Bangladesh cricket team is going through a transitional period right now. But I think the management is making too many mistakes at this stage of the competition when they should be making the wisest decisions. The players who generally save Bangladesh from that situation are also not in form. So the results are obviously not coming in favor of Bangladesh.
1425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Demo Account, Should Not Be Related To A Real Account on: December 22, 2022, 01:14:40 PM
I do love the engagement I'm getting so far on this thread and I'm happy seeing alot of people making meaningful contributions to a topic and also helping solve problems.

I also realized that one if the major reasons people shouldn't relate demo account to real account is the much expectations attactched to trading real account with real money.
To further explain this, most people after practicing on a demo account, move straight to real account with all the hopes of making millions or possibly making twice their capital and when that fails, they start revenge trading and end up blowing their account.

When I first started trading, a friend told me the same thing, and I felt it was right not to trade with a demo account. With a demo account, we will not be serious about starting and even trading a bit sloppy as we all know they are virtual, not real. Over time, it will form a bad habit for us and when using a real account, it is easy to make mistakes due to habit, or when using a real account, the psychology will be heavier. Start trading with a real account but with minimum capital. Don't try with a demo account, it does more harm than good for us.

1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 21, 2022, 08:30:47 PM
Now that the World Cup is over and most players have gained more experience to play effectively when the Premier League resumes, lots of signing will start going on Wolverhampton about confirming Cunha signing the Premier League as it is coming fresh and coming with a lot of amazing packages installed with it. I can see Messi still celebrating after is victory in the World Cup and his main target or wish have been granted. I miss my favorite black player Saka and can't wait for the resumption.
Now that the World Cup is all over, The premier league would be no doubt be more exciting as players would now return to their various clubs with great experience gotten from playing in the World Cup. I particularly would love to see Manchester United with its complete squad play a game. I’m pretty sure they would win. I think Manchester United’s Rashford has gotten better in his gameplay and has acquired some level of experience playing in the World Cup. I’m eager for the premier league to resume cause it’s going to be sure exciting.

I am very happy for Lionel Messi. He finally can say that he won it all. At this point, I don’t think Lionel Messi is going to care too much about anything. He can literally right now and he’s going to have a complete career. I think the players will need a little time to start performing well in the club competition, especially after a break like this. And a lot of teams are going to have changes brought in. But players will have to start performing well from the start because half of the season is already gone. The Premier League is going to be interesting with a few injuries. I am still thinking that Manchester City should be the teen which will win the Premier League title. Even though Arsenal is at the top of the table right now.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 20, 2022, 01:08:17 PM
It is true, Nadal is too old to keep himself fit against the young players who are making unexpected results on matches. More young players have emerged. For now even with the players of his age he wasn't the strongest as mentioned. Once the play goes down automatically the physical fitness too goes down. This is what happened with Nadal and it is true Djokovic is strong against Nadal.

Even if Rafael Nadal is able to keep himself fit, at this age, 100% of him is going to be like 50% of him when he was in his prime. There is no doubt that Rafael Nadal is a very skilled player. There is also no question about the ability of Rafael Nadal. I am also not trying to insult him. I am just saying the facts. It is often difficult to accept the fact that this is true. It is unlikely that he will be able to win the tournament. There is just too much competition for him to handle. I am tempted to say that if he ever reaches that final, it will be considered an achievement.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: December 19, 2022, 06:48:25 PM
and on injuries, there is a big question on how Nadal will start off the season at the
Australian open? If he is fit he will be a contender for the title for sure.

We will also see a mighty race to claim Grand Slam titles by both Rafa and Novak in
2023? Only 1 separates them, Rafa on 22 and Novak on 21. Hopefully if Rafa is fit
the competition will be intense.

If Rafael Nadal can stay fit, it is going to be good competition for him in my opinion. We should not forget that he is quite old right now, and it is going to be hard for him to compete against younger opponents.

If there has to be a comparison made between Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic, I will always keep Novak Djokovic ahead in this comparison. Nadal is just too old, and even if he is 100% fit, it is hard to imagine him winning the title, at least that’s my opinion.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 19, 2022, 03:05:09 PM
In terms of the Milan-Tottenham fight, Milan will probably look like a team that will want to use the Home advantage in the first match. If they win in the first match, they will have a big advantage for the rematch. Of course, things are not going the way they want in the league this year. I'm sure they will still play well in the Champions League. Tottenham is a tough team, but I can say that they are both equally strong teams.
Each team will want to take advantage of the home game since Milan and Tottenham are home teams. Probably here, whoever gets the most advantage in the home match will go further, although I think that Tottenham may be able to play away to a draw. I think so not because I think Tottenham are stronger, but because I believe that Conte can set up his players better for these matches. This pair is really difficult to predict.

Having said that, I think this match between Milan and Tottenham is going to be a really interesting one. Personally, I think Tottenham might be able to win this match due to Antonio Conte doing a good job with his squad. They have been playing with a high degree of consistency in the league as well.

Harry Kane and Heung Min Son will be playing a key role in this match and they will at the very least be trying to draw the game in Milan's home stadium and then maybe win it all in their own stadium in the second leg. I think that this is going to be a game of Tottenham's attack versus Milan's defense.
1431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 19, 2022, 02:38:21 PM
I saw that Cristiano Ronaldo did not care about money, rejecting this offer. While it was almost impossible for a football player to earn that money, it was unthinkable for Cristiano, who did not accept the best deal of his career even at the end of his career. No football player could easily refuse this. An incredible offer. 500 Million Euros. I can't even imagine the size of the money. For a moment I thought I wished he had accepted.
between money and a career where if ronaldo accepts an offer from al nassr then he will be the footballer with the highest salary. For now there is no certainty about the answer from Cristiano Ronaldo whether he will reject or accept the offer from Al Nassr. If we judge Ronaldo, he is already at the end of his football career because he is old and his physique on the field is not as strong as before. So I agree with you he could take a lot of money over the next few seasons before he decides to retire. other players rarely get this fantastic offer so I think Ronaldo will consider this offer before he gives an answer.

The transfer market is getting closer, the big EPL teams are moving faster come near to the players they are targeting in January, Arsenal and Manchester United will be too busy looking for players in the transfer market this season because they need new players to strengthen team.

My personal opinion is that the Saudi Arabian offer for Cristiano Ronaldo could have been a good deal for him. It seems to me that he is now approaching the age of retirement and has aged considerably. Having reached the age of almost 38, he no longer has the same pace he used to have at a time when he was younger. In addition to that, I would like to point out that his scoring abilities and positioning have also been affected.

In light of those factors, I do not believe he will be able to land a top-tier team in Europe in the near future. For instance, I think that the only options he could have are Chelsea and Bayern Munich, since both of these teams are trying to find another striker to join their squads.

.
It's not the heart of the market, but it's a vital and irreplaceable part of it. While it's a relatively new exchange, just like you said, it has quickly acquired a huge customer base and holds the majority of cryptocurrencies out there. Cryptocurrencies won't disappear if it crashes, but it'll have detrimental effects on the market and destroy their reputation. Investors would shy away from cryptocurrencies, and I wouldn't blame them; such an impact would have lifelong effects.

That's what I mean, if Binance crashes it will probably send the market into the longest downtrend we've ever seen but saying crypto will die when Binance dies is not entirely true. Mt.gox used to be the biggest exchange, but then Binance became another king in the market, and in the future, there will be another king replacing Binance, that's normal. I love using Binance but it's not unique in the market.

Certainly even further below, more like $4.000–$5.000 Binance is currently in the spotlight; however, I doubt that anything similar with FTX will happen.

If Binance crashes, we'll probably see bitcoin as low as $5k or less, but I'm pretty confident what they're having isn't too big of a deal, just minor troubles for them.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: December 19, 2022, 02:29:09 AM
even some of my friend's friends have started to leave crypto. Those who were originally with me on this bounty hunter forum actually prefer to work outside because the bounty has a very low fee. not only that, in fact we sometimes have to accept scams when the project disappears.
For the past two years, doing bounty has been so hard but some still get a lucky shot and being able to participate on a good projects that gave a huge airdrop. My earnings is not that big, maybe around a thousand since I was able to secure some spot on a good bounty and I was able to win some in the contest. Even if the market is still on a bear market right now, I will continue to do bounty hunting because I know good projects will still come in this market, we just need to be more patient for that.

As @examplens said, participation in signature campaigns is not discussed. Can you tell me which altcoin bounty campaign in the last 2 years has brought you big profits? I also regularly follow the bounty campaigns on the forum but to be honest, I have never seen a project as good and profitable as you said. As I said: good projects don't work on the forum, and they don't want spam marketing anymore. Only junk projects with no money to build use this marketing, but at the same time, scammers don't pay hunters.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 18, 2022, 12:58:25 PM
Dortmund haven't had a great start to the season that's true but I think we'll see a stronger consequence of them for the rest of the season. Dortmund had a trend in previous seasons of always finishing in 4th place and it will happen again this season. Dortmund temporary ranking in the standings table is ranked 6th and the difference in points from the top 4 is only 2 points so one game in the future will be able to change Dortmund position in the standings table. dortmund have swallowed 6 defeats in the 15 matches they have played so this is a bad record for them because in 15 matches they have swallowed 6 defeats.

There are a number of reasons why I highly doubt this is the case because Dortmund has not shown anything so far that would give us any reason to believe that they won't cause any problems or have any problems, and that they will start improving soon. They don't even have a very competent squad right now. Not enough attacking options as well. I don't see any player in the Dortmund squad who can actually be a prolific goal-scorer for them.

I think they have scored enough goals this season. But the problem is they have not defended well. In total, they scored 25 goals and conceded 21 goals. That is just not good enough for them. Especially if they want to compete at the top of the Bundesliga table. They will have to perform well in all aspects of football otherwise they are not going to be able to compete at the top level of the Bundesliga.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: December 18, 2022, 11:14:44 AM
I was expecting some resistance from South Africa but they played like an associate team in Gabba. Now, Australia just need only 34 runs to win this first test match which could be done without losing a wicket, I guess. The next test match is on boxing day which must be more exciting but if South Africa continues similar kind of performance then we will have another two day encounter only.
It was beyond my expectations that a Test match would end in just two days. South Africa showed very bad batting. After scoring only 152 runs in the first innings I thought they would score at least 200 runs in the second innings. But they lost all the wickets for just 99 runs. They gave Australia a target of only 34 runs. The pitch is not batting friendly. It looks like Australia will lose a few wickets to collect 34 runs.
Yes, the wicket does not favors the batsmen. Even Australia scored on 218 in their first innings which was way less score. When Australia was all out on 218, I thought they played very badly and should have scored some more runs to make a big lead. South Africa never looked like they could win this match. A score of 152 and 99 shows that they had no clue on how to bat on this pitch.

The second test will be played in Melbourne on 26 December, 2022. There is still a week before that test match will start and South Africa have some time to regroup themselves.

This was an unusual test match. During both matches, both the Australians and South Africans did not bat very well.

The pitch was not a good one to start with and it just got worse over time. Actually, these are the kind of test matches people enjoy seeing because in these test matches we get to see some actual skills needed to win. South Africa could have done a few things better. Because in the end, it does feel like the match was one-sided. But Australia also lost four wickets for a mere 35 runs. So, if South Africa could have got a few more runs I think Australia could have been facing more difficulties.
1436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 18, 2022, 07:03:27 AM
As far as I know club income from TV rights is significant only in the Premier League. Therefore, Frankfurt would be happy to remain in their current position only because 4th place provides a direct ticket to the Champions League where the club's income is significant. But it will be difficult for them to hold this position as Dortmund are behind, plus Union Berlin will probably get back in business and play well again.
The 4th standing of the Bundesliga is very good enough in my opinion because they could surely enter the UEFA Championship League, but surely Union Berlin and Dortmund will keep on buzzing in for some payback for me, there is likely little chance for these two teams to move forward 1st Dortmunds list of injuries and suspension, and with Union Berlin, I think they just got lucky at the beginning of the season, so it is highly unlikely that Frankfurt will lose that position this is just what I see, maybe a shifting position with RB Leipzig could be a possible outcome for now, but further development I will still see to make sure,

Dortmund is not playing well this season. So, I really do not know if they will be able to get themselves into the top four positions or not.
But Dortmund should be able to get ahead of Union Berlin. Because Union Berlin is also not playing well. They could not continue the way they started the season. So, I think they will go further down on the table.

I am not sure about Dortmund. It is really hard to see if they will actually be able to improve or not because they are going through some big difficulties right now. Frankfurt is actually showing good performance. And their performance is actually more stable compared to Dortmund. So, I think Frankfurt will be able to hold onto the position that they are in right now.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: December 18, 2022, 04:37:16 AM
I will agree with you that the projects that started the bounty campaign are junk projects without any value. Nowadays, most good projects no longer use forms of marketing spam such as social network spam, it no longer works. Potential projects are now receiving great attention and investment from angel investors, and VCs... like the projects of Aptos or Sui, there is no need for marketing, but investors who want to make a profit have to find those projects themselves. Bounty campaigns became obsolete and died when the ICO died.
1438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance lots of FUD on: December 18, 2022, 04:24:17 AM
The collapse of an exchange is like the bankruptcy of a business, it will affect some people but not kill the market. I believe there may still be other crashes in the future, but everything will be fixed, and the market will still grow.
Many people compare FXT with binance, but personally, I find the difference quite large, FTX is too small compared to Binance.
If you look at the rankings of exchanges, you can see that Binance's trading volume is the largest, and Binance's volume is equal to 10 other exchanges combined. Shows how reputable they are in the market.
I have to disagree with you. Binance is one of the largest, if not the largest, cryptocurrency exchanges out there. The reason the market would collapse if Binance crashed is simply because it holds up to 60% of cryptocurrency derivatives and is accountable for up to $1.5 trillion in trades just in November. FTX was one of the largest exchanges as well, but it was nothing compared to Binance. FTX put a decent dent in cryptocurrencies nonetheless. If something similar happens with Binance or even Coinbase, we'll be doomed.

It's true that Binance is huge, and as I said, it's bigger than 10 other exchanges combined, but that doesn't mean it's the heart of the market. Binance has only been around since 2017, and the market has appeared before and also developed without Binance. If it falls, we will return to the beginning, we will have to start over, but not to the point of dying with it.

Binance is part of the market, not the crypto market is part of Binance. I am one of those who do not believe that Binance will collapse, but I would not believe that it is the only lifeline of the market.
1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: December 17, 2022, 07:20:36 PM
This is so frustrating. The match was going on so nicely, and as usual the rain interruption occurs. For all the T20I and ODI matches in this series (Bangladesh women vs New Zealand women), the play was interrupted at one point or other because of rain. Are these rains unseasonal? Or did they scheduled this series during the rainy season? Anyway, New Zealand women were at 123/2 when rain stopped play. Suzie Bates was looking good, but immediately after she got her half century she got out to the bowling of Ritu Moni.

This is just becoming qtruly stupid. ICC should really do something about this rain situation. Because of rain a lot of series are resulting like this. Honestly, there is nothing to be done in this situation. Except for probably arranging these series at a better time. The weather in New Zealand was supposed to be like this at this time of the year. ICC should have kept that in mind. I think we could have at least seen all the matches being played if this series was hosted by Bangladesh. The New Zealand women's team was playing really well. I think they were on the verge of another win against the Bangladesh women. But it was not to be and in the end, it was no result again.

Tomorrow game between morroco and croatia will be a really tight one in my opinion and i think we won't see many goals, for croatia this will be a step back even if they win the third place since they made it to the final in the previous world cup so i think morroco players will be more motivated both teams play really good football i think the third place will be for morroco either in penalties or with a small goal difference.

If these two teams had played in the final match, we would have watched a very interesting match. I've seen funny memes about it on social media. One of them is this: https://twitter.com/nocontextfooty/status/1602009797490008065 Of course, it's an exaggerated criticism. Smiley

Frankly, I don't think we will see many goals in this match, but my favorite is Morocco because I think their offensive players are more creative. They were very effective in parts of the game even against France. I think the Croatian defenders might be slow against them in some positions.

I have to disagree with you now, it seems it will be a high-goal-scoring match rather than a match of one goal. At this point, I think Croatia might have played a little bit better compared to morocco in this world cup. Especially one of the reasons I have is that even at the age of 37 Luka Modrić has been running like a young child. He seems to be like in every part of the pitch. But I have to say that Morocco have a really good defense compared to Croatia so I think it will be a high-voltage fight, currently, I'm enjoying the match, it's half time break and the score is 2-1 in favor of Croatia.
