2181  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What the fuck does binance want? on: January 10, 2022, 03:39:24 AM
Are you using their application on your smartphone? Usually, that's the easiest way to get verified because of the verification thing you need to undergo if you want to have the higher-tiered accounts.

I remember that you have to have your face in the oblong-shaped thing, and you need to move around your head—something like that. Please take photos of your IDs on the app itself, not taken with the camera app on your phone. I think after that it should be done.
2182  Economy / Economics / Re: Euro zone inflation hit a new record high of 5% in December on: January 10, 2022, 03:32:42 AM
This must be an effect of global warming as a whole. Imagine having the energy prices rising possibly because of the lack of resources now, and the oil industry is the leader in the energy sector now depleting. To save themselves, they want more money so that when it finally becomes zero, they would still be rich AF. The bank and the economy have seen the highest rise in prices because of this pandemic and the surprises of what the world is becoming into.
2183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it always safe to connect your (metamask) wallet? on: January 10, 2022, 02:29:09 AM
The step you had where you have a hardware wallet is already the right one. You can never have enough safety and security when it comes to your coins. When connecting apps with your wallet, you won't have to worry about your private key being exported because that won't happen unless you do it.

I think it's pretty typical for a pretty new user to have that kind of fear of losing money with hacks. That's why I said you already made a nice move on getting a hardware wallet. Most of the people I know that were hacked didn't use it and installed different types of malware onto their phones etc.
2184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is SLP really a scam coin? on: January 07, 2022, 07:39:29 AM
It's never and will never be because of the team behind it. What it lacks is the burning mechanic. With the current implementations and usage of SLP, many players now are farming SLP like crazy because they can play and earn at the same time. It's just that there is too much supply which causes the dump to happen, and I hope that they will find a way to make another way to earn from it that will make the future of SLP better for everyone.

I'm not sure why it's being called a scam just because of its price going down. It was like that before, and the idea itself is already excellent that you can play to earn. They are pioneers in that, and they are not being appreciated.
2185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing in meme coins on: January 06, 2022, 06:53:27 AM
It's probably because of the possible rug pull that developers can do once they have enough investors involved. Imagine the contemporary rug pulled by a familiar name, Squid Game coin/token, and the rug has been pulled, and a lot of people have lost their savings in the hopes of becoming comfortable with their lives. They are hoping for that possible jackpot but hard to occur and happen.

The risk is there, so you should be careful when investing in those types of things.
2186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF Rally Proved Short-Lived, and $100K Dreams Faded on: January 06, 2022, 06:19:14 AM
Probably, many people now need money somehow. That's why they are cashing out their holdings and possibly dumping them. We all know this process, and we never expected it to happen this fast, but the important thing is that it happened; rising to $69k is a feat by itself. $100K might not happen right away, but the important thing is that we still believe and continue to accumulate. I think BTC is the best coin to HODL out of anything else.
2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet is down on Kazahstan, Bitcoin Hashrate drooped, Price affected? on: January 06, 2022, 04:09:10 AM
I don't think there's a direct correlation between the drop in hash rate with BTC and its price. Maybe the negativity with the news on it affected the people speculating before (with the cost of BTC increasing) and now decreasing and are just taking profit or cutting losses that they may have. Or maybe someone just dumped their bags because they need them so much, possibly with the new year or something.

What other parameters can we check to see if the two variables are connected?
2188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung to introduce NFT platform within its new smart TVs on: January 06, 2022, 01:47:08 AM
I like how the idea of NFTs viewing will be part of the real world and a lot more people would probably have been exposed already to the concept of NFT. Then more people would learn about the blockchain, and development would be prosperous towards the betterment of everyone. I think a lot more dApps would come into fruition in this day and age. I know a lot of people would still be using TVs.
2189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't let me swap Dogecoin through Pancake Swap on: January 04, 2022, 11:19:54 PM
I assumed that, considering it was a Binance purchase, everything would be legit and I would have no problems swapping it!  Angry
Based in your photo, it's definitely in the Doge network. With swapping in pancake swap, it's for some in bep20.

What do you mean by "maybe you can check it to something like that?" - sorry I don't understand... Is there a work around?
What I mean by this is to check the network and find ways in TrustWallet for it to be converted.

Anyway, at least you have converted it easily in Binance. I think the network fee with that isn't that much in DOGE network, so it's easy. What coins/tokens did you invest in?
2190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most private cryptocurrency on: January 04, 2022, 11:10:17 PM
It's most probably still Monero. For the most part, it's still important to note that with Bitcoin, everything can be tracked and be seen in the blockchain. So if you are concerned with privacy, then Monero could be that. It's like cash where you couldn't trace where it came from
2191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could Gambling Legalization be a positive thing for Brazil? on: January 04, 2022, 06:15:04 PM
I think the idea of having the gambling casinos legalization for Brazil is good in terms of money and how it could circulate the money in the Country. But probably the government has some other ideas when it comes to this because they are probably concerned about how it could affect the masses with being addicted or how people are going to react to it.

Maybe they are willing to do it as well, but they’re waiting for something to come up first to start down the legalization process of it.
2192  Economy / Economics / Re: 2022 Savings and investment plan on: January 04, 2022, 06:06:43 PM
I like your idea of some skill development because that’s how humans know what they can do for the world. I think the most important thing that you should know is where you are right now with your current capital. You would know where you would stand if you know what your current situation is so you can somehow create a plan for it.
2193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Won't let me swap Dogecoin through Pancake Swap on: January 04, 2022, 04:46:05 PM
Is there some kind of different network when it comes to the DOGE you have added? Maybe it's in another network or something? Usually, if you are going to use Pancake swap, it's going to be in BEP20 IIRC. So maybe you can check it to something like that?
2194  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin first week price speculation on: January 04, 2022, 02:48:40 AM
The price fluctuation in this week hasn't reached the peak percentage that you can say that it's going to be the same as the previous years. And to be clear, the percentages you had included in the price of BTC when it entered 2022 and then compared to the ending of the first week, probably Saturday? Is that correct? There's nothing much included in the tweet or any figures to check, just yours.

I do hope that it's going to be fruitful the whole year.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi and CeFi ratings on: January 04, 2022, 02:39:07 AM
This is the first time I have seen the term CeFi, or I just have noticed this. When I think about it, it's basically what the traditional businesses are, right? They have complete control of what is going on, and that's just how they want it. I think the great idea with DeFi is that it's more transparent compared to the CeFi projects that are going on.

It's important to know what the projects have in store for everyone using it, whether DeFi or CeFi. It's best to DYOR before anything else so that check if it's worth trusting or not.
2196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which one has a Ethereum-like potential? on: January 04, 2022, 01:30:07 AM
I think Polygon within your list has the most "Ethereum-like" potential just because of its structure and handling of transactions. It's basically saying that it's part of the Ethereum ecosystem. On their website, it's also stated "the best of Ethereum", so basically it has its potential and more. This is what I can say that it has its "Like" potential factor

None of these coins have the potential of Ethereum, although in general it is a good coin to choose from like Terra, Avax, and Polygon.
But for that potential problem every coin is different and will never be the same as Ethereum or the others.
There would never be the same 1:1 coins out there. That's why the OP indicated the "like" potential that it has.
2197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What would you do in this situation? on: January 03, 2022, 04:50:34 AM
I think you should focus on getting your income intact first before anything else because how are you going to live when it's like that when you don't know what you are going to do or where you are going to get your next money for food and other essential stuff because you are flat broke? I think it will be a risk for you to focus on creating an AI bot first. I know it can be rewarding when you get there but are you sure you can risk your day-to-day needs compared to focusing on this one thing?

P.S. You're probably not crazy; you just don't know what to do.

I hope everyone had a great new year celebration of some sort. We probably had a lot of stuff that has happened in the previous year and it's time to focus on what matters in our lives. I'm happy to be part of this campaign.

2200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin new year on: January 01, 2022, 01:38:58 PM
Happy new year to everyone!

I think having a timeline of 2021 and summarizing the most significant events in the previous year would make it easier to see what the bitcoin community or cryptocurrency, in general, has achieved. I think this way, it's easily appreciated and be memorable to everyone if it's like that.

Additionally, you could earn merits if you try to create an informational thread like that, so chop-chop?
