221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling awareness for adolescents on: September 14, 2021, 11:17:53 AM
I still think that school should only teach science and stuff, and problems like sex, drug, gambling, etc. (about morality) are still in the parents' domain. However, especially for gambling, it uses math and can be explained in math class, and the addiction (endorphins et al., can also be explained in biology/chemistry classes) so not really necessary to burden students with more topic. Most of the time, this kind of material, like sex education only be used as a joke/meme, remember? Hence, I don't think it can make a big difference.
It's much more helpful if it's taught both sides, look at sex education, it can help that people understand sexuality and get curious and that's where the parents come in and tell them what they need to know about sex and how it's no t going to be good for their future if they don't do it the right way and without thinking straight. Same with gambling, I think that a diversified opinion will help the kid grow his/her critical thinking skill so that they can make or formulate their own decisions as they grow older.
222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slot vs Video Poker on: September 14, 2021, 10:39:50 AM
I don't see any similarities between the two. They're on a really different spectrum of gambling, one is heavily based on luck or probability while the other is a bit of probability and a ton of skill because with poker, you need some convincing actings especially wheen you're bluffing.
223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPORTS - predictions and tips (Dota 2, CS:GO, LoL) on: September 14, 2021, 09:48:22 AM
You guys planning on betting on the upcoming GOTA2 tournament?
I'm thinking of throwing in some $$$ in the pool.

Any favorites?
What tournament is it exactly though? I'm sorry for that question but I haven't been keeping out of the loop for a long time now so I don't have any idea what's the latest news for Dota 2, all that I know is that TNC has let go of their Dota 2 team and they're now freelancers so they can play as a stand-in in any teams that want their skills.
224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: G A M B L E R S ❗❗ What are your thoughts on this? on: September 14, 2021, 08:50:45 AM
It depends on the time that's available to gamble for me. Casino B would likely take a lot of time and require focus than Casino A which I can easily set on auto. I'm not the type of player that's really good at these games but playing against other players was definitely fun based on personal experience though.
No, I don't think so, both of them are similar in terms of time consumption and sometimes Casino A is much more time consuming because of how fast the games happen so you psychologically think that you're not consuming a lot of time. And as OP has said, it's against the house and you know that the house will do anything to keep you playing.
225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Seriously! three times...the individual vs. combined probability. on: September 14, 2021, 07:16:56 AM
1396 odds isn't that big and sometimes the wins can really happen consecutively so it's nothing to worry about and it's not like it's a rare occasion, pretty sure that with so many people gambling, it's more unlikely for this to not happen than for it to happen.
226  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀📈 Satcrash.io - The Premier Bitcoin Crash Game 🚀📈 on: September 14, 2021, 06:29:52 AM
Welcome to the forum OP, never seen a lot of crash games in the past so I thought that not a lot of people are playing this but here you are, doing just fine. Are you planning on creating a signature campaign?
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concern about the the problem of online underaged gamblers. on: September 13, 2021, 05:38:35 PM
IMHO, Ads popping on android device or even on google is a targeted ads which means you will never receive it unless you are browsing same website or anything about gambling which an underage user that doesn't visit gambling will never receive that kind of ads if they never play gambling on there device.
Adblocking and ad appropriation isn't the first line of defense for children being introduced to gambling, it's the parents that should be the first line of defense, they're the one that should guide them since they can see what their kid does first hand.
228  Economy / Gambling / Re: I need admin of Bitvest to come here and explain! ( Not paying my winning) on: September 13, 2021, 04:58:57 PM
I have tried everything I can even a mod were contacted me and she said that she cannot do anything about it? Do we have to mark this casino as scammed? I wonder why Bitcoinstalk accept promo or advertiment for a scammed casino like this? Literally they don't pay our winning and it is not a fair game to risk out money for a place like this. Right now I know that the owner hoping I will keep playing and lost it back, lol what a nice place or nice idea to just steal other people money
Wait for it, it's taking some time, probably Lightlord is just busy that he isn't able to respond, I feel like this is getting frequent than ever so I think that Lightlord should add some disclaimer that he won't be able to quickly respond to this kind of thing.
229  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling license on: September 13, 2021, 04:08:07 PM
I think this kind of thing should be inquired in your country because that's how it's supposed to be, you only get license in your country since you should be responsible for paying taxes since you're building a business. And it's not rental, you may renew it but it's not rental of some sort.
230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: September 13, 2021, 03:34:22 PM
If you have a big capital and you are good at trading which is hard to then probably you will be able to make those numbers easily although depending on the capital, you might be able to do more than that in a month.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a trader needs to be a full time trader to be successful? on: September 13, 2021, 02:43:38 PM
Yes, you have to be full time because if you put a half assed effort then you wouldn't be getting anything from it besides half assed results. Plus it's not like you have to continue doing it full-time, you will eventually slow down and use smaller amounts of time because you've put in effort in the first place and you know what to do.
232  Economy / Reputation / Re: 1xBit.com Coming back to Bitcointalk, Solving all the issues. on: September 13, 2021, 01:33:24 PM
1xbet after wining only less than 100€ they asked me to send id and selfie with account and they didnt give me anthing. They are scammer with new team or not for me
Yeah, they're proven scammers or should I say bitter that people are winning in their platform. Also, you need to warn other people that don't know that 1xbit is a scam, you better spread the word before it's too late for them.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good man/woman leaves an inheritance on: September 13, 2021, 11:14:17 AM
Not every good woman/man has the privilege to leave inheritance, not everyone can afford a lawyer to officiate or create the inheritance. Some are living in a livable wage that unironically only lasts for about half a month.
234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why government would like to ban Bitcoin? on: September 13, 2021, 10:18:53 AM
The government is a leading organization of all countries and they always want to control all transactions as well as legal buying and selling activities through paying taxes, but because BTC was born for the opposite purpose. with their regulation that's why they don't want to accept BTC and want to ban it from all of us.
It's not the transactions that they're trying to control but the people. For me, that's the only reason why they will ban bitcoin or restrict it and mask that restriction as a regulatory policy to protect the people when it's not really the case.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi about to show up? on: September 13, 2021, 08:29:12 AM
Satoshi might not even be one person so it's probably an unlikely thing that he will show up because there's probably one that represents them and another group that does the dirty work. Also, it's unlikely that he will donate to a charity because there's no good charity out there that's really helping the people that they're promised to help.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you protect your Bitcoin from market volatility? on: September 12, 2021, 10:35:04 AM
Yes I can, with only a mindset that's in the market for the long-term I think that it's an enough protection for me when it comes to the volatility of the bitcoin market. Plus, diversification could be useful in that situation because when bitcoin is down, you will still have other means to make money since you're diversified.
237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin = 100k by December on: September 12, 2021, 09:45:43 AM
~
It takes Bitcoin 3 years to get a price about $20,000 but it broke the resistance within a few hours. After the All time high break-out, Bitcoin topped at $64,000. If you believe $64,000 is not a highest price for 2021 bull run, please imagine how price will move after $64,000 is broken.
I don't know which part did you think that I was being negative about bitcoin but I will take it, it's my fault that I tried to be neutral in that post since I want to cover all the possibilities there is. I don't get why you're so mad but I am on the same side as you regarding bitcoin.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: How would Bitconia look like? on: September 12, 2021, 08:37:49 AM
I don't know if it's going to be a good idea, plus you'll probably have to deal with economics, politics, natural resources, and other stuff that a country must have. Also, it's not really a good thing because bitcoin is supposed to be decentralized and having it's own country will defeat the purpose of decentralization.
239  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 vaccination becoming a criteria to live in the world on: September 12, 2021, 07:46:22 AM
If you want to build a herd immunity then probably you should know that it's the best thing to do, having everyone vaccinated so the vulnerable population that wasn't vaccinated yet will be protected because no one gets infected because of the vaccines and the virus having no way to be transferred to other people.
240  Economy / Reputation / Re: 5000$ wager timed to search for plagiarism, (or how to learn to lie publicly). on: September 11, 2021, 03:06:11 PM
It would be nice if you legends could just get along, or at least tolerate each other. You scare the crap out of newbies!

As if that's going to happen, these people like any other in this forum, have egos and they're different people that have differing opinions and came from different backgrounds so what you're asking is close to impossible because they might agree on some of it but they will eventually disagree on a topic.
