1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: June 02, 2021, 07:03:31 AM
This is another, in my eyes, stupid fight that nobody is really waiting about. Especially as Woodley is not so famous but as others mention it is all about the money. Both Paul and Woodley can take home a nice pay check. Chances are maybe slim, but I hope Woodley can KO Paul.
Well, if people are going to watch, they're still going to do it, what's your opinion going to do against the million of followers of Jake Paul? Will they stop the fight, let's just let this happen and then watch it and and make fun of the march and move on like any normal person who isn't a killjoy.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Curacao license scam on: June 02, 2021, 06:25:48 AM
License is good but reputation and good reviews are much better, the first thing I want to know on a new gambling site is their reputation and if there are no complaints or scam reports, this is for me the first sign if the site is worth playing, some gambling sites are faking their license and they can still scam you even if they have a legitimate license.
But if you put it in a second priority, that means that even if it's illegal as long as people are talking about it in a good term then you will play there? What if it plans to do an exit scam and that they are just letting a good show, I think license should be a priority too. Also, you can always find telltale signs if a gambling site is going to scam their customers.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gaming Scams during Pandemic. How to Stay Safe. on: June 01, 2021, 03:20:21 PM
The only safe way we can do for now is to Play in legit and established gambling sites now , like those who had been in this Forum advertising for years now , check my signature and those that has proven their legitimacy and truthfully .
The problem is that you wouldn't know because even legitimate sites have been proven wrong, look at 1xbit, they were a trusted site back then but look what happened, they scammed a lot of people. My advice is to never put a lot of money when you are gambling because there will always be the chance that they will lock you out and you don't want to be locked out with a lot of money in your account.
1084  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: June 01, 2021, 02:44:12 PM
~
Usually the bigger prizes that their contest have are when there are celebrations, like holidays, anniversary, and even new achievements. IMO the current prizepool is a really good pool.
That can't do if your site is getting bigger then you should probably update your pool because there are more players to compete which means that they needed to have a bigger motivation.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some important tips about the bitcoin market on: June 01, 2021, 01:22:10 PM
I would like to change number one because it is a dangerous tip if interpreted wrongfully, I would change it into "Buy what you can afford to lose and not take out when there is an emergency". Another that I like to add is to take all the news in regards to cryptocurrency with a grain of salt because if not then you are susceptible to panic.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This dip is PROOF that "I wish I would've bought Bitcoin at X price" is nonsense on: June 01, 2021, 12:44:17 PM
Nah, we don't really have to be hypercritical about it. It's just an expression of regret, even I do something like that when I make a mistake in my judgment.
Exactly, OP just sounds condescending in his/her way of creating this thread. And to OP, haven't you had any regrets like this in the past because pretty hypocritical of you to target people who regretted not buying bitcoin at X prices when you did regret about something.
1087  Other / Archival / Re: The community created a petition: Elon Musk, sell your bitcoin on: June 01, 2021, 11:52:37 AM
What happens after that though? Did the petition accomplish anything and if Elon was to authorize the selling of Tesla's bitcoin, what now then? The people who created this petition and signed it are stupid because their hate won't translate into something that will benefit bitcoin in any way.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans mining is good for Bitcoin on: June 01, 2021, 08:50:31 AM
In the long run, he is beneficial to the Bitcoin market because he can break China's monopoly on Bitcoin. Although there are short-term fluctuations and declines, this will prompt countries to adjust the Bitcoin ecosystem, which is conducive to the long-term stability of the Bitcoin market.
It will probably take a really long time given how large bitcoin activity in China is. I agree that it will be beneficial but I am sure that people are still going to panic over this fluctuations but that would be alright since we are going to see a better pump in prices when the time comes.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: June 01, 2021, 08:13:25 AM
Per my opinion it is hard to become. Banks and economy and every economy big fish want to have control of money flow. I am wrong maybe, we will see.
You aren't wrong about banks and the string pullers wanting to control the flow of money, that's basically the fundamental that banks are build upon and elites have been raised to. Also, the difficult part is that bitcoin becoming the global currency is pretty difficult since there isn't a lot of bitcoin to go around and if it were to happen, lost coins will increase.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many people who do not understand Bitcoin slander Bitcoin? on: June 01, 2021, 07:40:43 AM
You said it in the title OP, they don't know better so they slander bitcoin, ignorance leads to hate, always remember that and the only way to cure their ignorance is for us who understands it is to give them the necessary information and let them experience the market.
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin ever become a widely adopted global payment solution? on: June 01, 2021, 06:53:00 AM
Not until scalability, fees, etc has been resolved like what it says in the comments above if LN will become successful in the near future no doubt this can be achieve 100% but for now lets wait and see blockchain developments are not stopping to discover and develop new solutions to existing problems in btc, Im hoping that in the next 10 years btc will have cheap transaction fees, fast and easy to use.
Lightning network is already successful, it's just that not a lot uses it. Also, I do agree that fees and scalability is a problem but I don't think that bitcoin can cater a global market given that there is a billion of us in this world and there's only little bitcoin for everyone to share.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin help stop the funding of wars? on: May 31, 2021, 05:29:38 PM
It's quite the opposite actually because bitcoin has already been used to fund terrorist groups so you claim that it can stop war has already been refuted. Also, bitcoin isn't a Miracle Machine, it is just a tool that humans can use for the goood or for the bad.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Great News: RBI is directing Indian banks to stop deplatforming crypto customers on: May 31, 2021, 04:47:49 PM
Does this mean that crypto users in India is going to be able to use banks for their crypto related transactions? Because if so that means that India has once again moved in favor of cryptocurrency again and I can feel that they might go the other way again in the near future.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im Surprisd btc still alive on: May 31, 2021, 04:14:24 PM
Bitcoin will exist forever, and it will not disappear due to temporary fluctuations. He has his own strong backing, people have a strong belief in him, and a group of people with consensus will defend his existence. This is the general trend.
Forever is an overused and wrongfully used words because that would mean that bitcoin will survive the heat death of the universe, I would say that long time is a more appropriate word to say. Also, the reason why bitcoin is still alive is like every other top altcoins out there, it is still being developed further.
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: May 31, 2021, 02:18:14 PM
a world without bitcoin, perhaps you could say that this world will be more and more unemployed, there are more robberies, the world is getting more and more devastated, because many people lost their jobs during the pandemic, the presence of bitcoin has made the people's economy begin to improve, people have started to become smart about earning income in the world in digital form. You could say that the world without bitcoin is bland ..
That would probably be the worst case but OP didn't say that there is no cryptocurrencies so I think that even if bitcoin didn't exist, I am pretty sure that we will be able to see another cryptocurrency that will be at the top.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Dystopian Future on: May 31, 2021, 01:14:59 PM
A dystopian future is possible without cryptocurrencies. So don't think about it.
It's more than just having no cryptocurrencies, that's a shame to be called a dystopia if that's the only reason. Dystopia should include, heavy censorship, corporate fascism, mass surveillance and no respect for human rights. Just observe your surroundings, aren't we already in a dystopian future.
1097  Economy / Economics / Re: Risk of Inflation in Economy. on: May 31, 2021, 12:46:06 PM
I think the inflation because of pandemic, the price increase, food, services, and other needs for living everyday. And I also think why the prices increase is to get their losses from previous year, that is business they are only thinking is to get profit.
The pandemic is the main reason but that doesn't mean that it is a solvable problem because people can adapt, maybe at first they are in the dark as to what to do but as time goes on, they will slowly adapt to a new normal. The root reason for inflation is that the raw materials for products are getting expensive.
1098  Economy / Economics / Re: Why own stock if You can own the stocks of the Federal reserve on: May 31, 2021, 11:53:42 AM
I don't understand where have you taken this logic but we as bitcoin holders, we're not a shareholder and we don't get paid with dividends coming from the production of money by the banks. Well, I think you're talking about the injected money of the USA during this pandemic and it could really be one of the reasons why the market has been up ever since it has happened. But don't get it wrong, we're not receiving any dividends instead, we're getting profit if the price of bitcoin goes up. You may say that it's the same but it's not.
I think OP is thinking of crypto staking because it kind of looks similar to stock market that gives you a certain dividends but the difference is that staking has a days where you are waiting before you can get your stakes.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: Visa is getting more interested in Crypto on: May 31, 2021, 08:29:04 AM
In the end both payments system have to live together in other to provide the best service, there are several other features that is presented in Visa and absent in btc but that does not mean btc is less in value,  the way btc was designed is different than Visa, between I like the idea of having both around which means I can choose anyone that suits me at any given time.
Coexistence is the best course of action for bitcoin and traditional fiat services to go to since there's no point trying to one up another which doesn't benefit any side. It's a good thing that this is happening because it helps the adoption rate go much faster than ever before.
1100  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto lead to the next financial crisis? on: May 31, 2021, 04:07:13 AM
The cryptocurrency market capitalization is very small compared to the rest of the economy so it will not be able to affect the overall economy. Throughout the world's economic history, recessions have come from holes. Cryptocurrencies look very bright, transparent so I think crypto is the solution to the economy instead of seeing it as a risk.
I don't think transparent is the right word to associate with crypto since it is in the namesake which is cryptography. It might not affect but the waves that it will make in the long-term is going to be sending tremors to financial institutions around the world, as people are getting their freedom with the help of cryptocurrency, they will start to get more independent and bankers don't like independence.
